What Else Fits Inside the Ironclad Assault? - Ship Fit Test

[00:00:03]Today, we're going to do some more ship fit testing on the Ironclad Assault here. As you can see, I got a lot more ships that we can test out here. So, we're going to go ahead and get started with smallest to the bigger ships here.

[00:00:15]Um we're going to start here with the Scorpius and see how this performs.

[00:00:20]Should be no issue.

[00:00:23]Okay, now I'm just backing this up here.

[00:00:27]I believe this is going to work just fine.

[00:00:40]So, indeed, you can fit one Scorpius in the Ironclad. I'm going to do a walk-through just to check out what the clearance looks like around here.

[00:00:51]All right, so walking around here, there's plenty of space to walk around.

[00:00:55]You got plenty of clearance in the front. You got lots of space back here in the back.

[00:01:00]Let me see about the roof there. That's should not affect the No, it's not. It's plenty low enough. It's not going to affect Height's perfect. Okay, plenty of clearance above.

[00:01:15]Plenty of space back here, so you can stuff a lot more snub fighters if you want to back here or support ships.

[00:01:21]So, this one's a pass.

[00:01:27]And again, same thing coming out, no issues whatsoever.

[00:01:32]Go out here.

[00:01:37]And I can get into the fight.

[00:01:41]Next up, we got the Aegis Eclipse here. This one's a just stealth torpedo bomber. Uh this one I actually am curious about to see if I can get this one into the Assault.

[00:01:54]That's actually the Ironclad I was just staring at over there. It's got the exact same uh dimension space as the Assault.

[00:02:01]See if I can get this properly.

[00:02:10]Try to turn that. Let me look down.

[00:02:15]Oh, this one actually might be a tough call.

[00:02:46]So, not quickly can you get in and out, but if you're a very delicate, what I just did there you can land this in here just fine. It does take up space on this ship. I'll do a walk around.

[00:03:01]All right, we're currently walking around the ship here itself. It's kind of you got crouch down and like walk around a little bit just to get walking around here, but I mean it it works and you still space over here for other ships. So, there's plenty of space over there for like snow fighters if you want to put that section of the ship there.

[00:03:23]But here towards the center no issues. The only thing I could say is that that's um roof there Well, you know what? We're going to close it. We're going to find out.

[00:03:36]We close that.

[00:03:43]Oh, boy.

[00:03:50]Uh I was looking at that right there.

[00:03:52]like my heart stopped as soon as it like So, I I mean technically sure, if you really want to take this to uh on here.

[00:04:18]But, practically I I would say I I you know, maybe land this just for uh the armor repair bay feel. Uh transporting it, I probably wouldn't do that, but I mean you can if you want to.

[00:04:32]I yeah, just practicality I wouldn't recommend it, but it does land and fit just fine.

[00:04:38]This is even with the doors opening. I'm just trying to see if any hiccups happen, so I'm checking for that.

[00:04:46]Uh so far, so good.

[00:05:04]Again, you got to be really careful when you're trying to take the ship out. I'm trying to be very delicate, so I basically have to hit the have the nose hit that little bit then back up.

[00:05:22]Uh this one is the Sabre Raven. This is not mine, just so you know. This is uh one of my friends has uh who we live uh wanted to bring this out to uh try out, so uh thank you, Jinx.

[00:05:36]But, this thing should be no issue whatsoever. Going to go ahead and land it.

[00:05:42]I'm really really jealous he's got this ship. Oh, wait. Can this not?

[00:05:49]Come on.

[00:05:57]So, yes, uh Sabre Raven, if you're a lucky owner of this ship, it can absolutely land on here and I'm pretty sure I can even back up here. [music] There's a lot of space in the back. I can actually just Uh actually this pillar Oh, maybe I should be okay.

[00:06:22]So, yeah, if you want to land this back here, you definitely could do that.

[00:06:30]As you can see, you got a little small uh ship in the back here. Uh plenty of space to walk around, plenty of real estate back here left over.

[00:06:39]Uh you can throw in some like pepper bikes down back there or vehicles if you want to, something small. Uh plenty of space here in the front for other ships.

[00:06:47]So, yeah, good fit. Sabre Raven.

[00:06:51]Next up, we got the Guardian Imbax. This one here is a lot of requests that a lot of people wanted in the comments sections for me to uh my first uh ship fit test video to test this one out since it's a little bit taller.

[00:07:03]We're going to try it out.

[00:07:05]So, this is for you folks.

[00:07:15]Just smacking it right there.

[00:07:19]So, yeah, that's a little bit taller.

[00:07:25]Let me get proper walk around of this.

[00:07:30]So, walking around it is no issue whatsoever. There's plenty of space around here to walk around at ease. The way she's there, plenty of space in the back as well, too.

[00:07:39]It's is actually above the roof ceiling. I can tell right there. Uh Uh that is not going to be able to be You basically are not taking this and quantum jumping the ship of the door closed. This is not going to work. Uh but yeah, you can definitely land it. It does fit. If you need to do some rearm, repair, refuel, uh this would work.

[00:08:09]Kind of.

[00:08:11]And if it just is just for the folks that don't believe me, that thing is just a couple of feet over the roof ceiling right there, as you can tell from the Guardian MX. So, yeah, it is just a little too tall right there, just where that ceiling line is at. Um yeah.

[00:08:28]Next up, we got the Drake Cutlass Black.

[00:08:30]Uh this one here is I questioned it.

[00:08:41]Mm.

[00:08:43]I think this one is actually a little bit too wide. I'll try to rotate this better.

[00:08:50]So, that is Damn it. Okay, I I kind of wanted this to work. This is not going to fit.

[00:09:05]Accidentally just pushed my ship down a little bit, but yeah, that's I can tell you for sure that it's just too wide right there. You can see from the side.

[00:09:13]Right there, the engines stick out too much. So, yeah, that's just That one's not going to work out. You can rip the ship the ship engines off, sure, but that kind of defeats the purpose of kind of having this thing here.

[00:09:24]Um I wonder if actually that's even plausible with the front wings there in the front.

[00:09:33]I mean, sure, but uh-oh.

[00:09:36]And you get stuff like that that happens, so yeah, Cutlass Black definitely no go.

[00:09:41]>> [laughter] >> Next up, we got the Freelancer Max. No, sorry, not Freelancer Max. Apologies.

[00:09:49]Freelancer, this is the base version. Uh cuz everyone's been asking me about this ship. I'm curious as well since this can fit in the Idris.

[00:09:56]Can this potentially fit in here?

[00:10:00]Uh Let me Actually put landing gear down first.

[00:10:14]I'm going to go a little bit forward.

[00:10:15]Oh, this actually might work.

[00:10:21]No, the wings are too wide. Okay.

[00:10:23]So, if you really wanted to I guess shoot the wings off, like, sure.

[00:10:33]I'm just testing these based on the ship being at 100% integrity.

[00:10:37]Um But yeah, but for this being the case, this is just too wide. Just from the wing tips right here on the sides, uh both of them are clipping the edges, so this one's not quite Yeah, just a little bit too wide. That's all it is. So, that one's a fail.

[00:10:55]Okay, just for this demonstration, this is not practical whatsoever, but if you do happen to take a wing off, I I took the left side off.

[00:11:09]Uh I'm going to try to see if that will be enough, actually.

[00:12:16]Doors [music] open the back. I get out just fine. Little damage on the left side. Again, I do not I don't recommend this, but you know, I'm just showing you some options what you can do.

[00:13:25]I literally don't know, but No, that is again a little too wide here. I'm just trying to look at all the angles, even if I center it right there.

[00:13:49]All right, sorry folks. Zeus is just not going to cut it. It's too long, even if I angle it in, it's still too wide right there. It's over the side railing there, so yeah, this one's a fail. Sorry, folks.

[00:14:07]This one I can't really get to fit in here as well. This is a pretty good-sized ship that's just not going to fit in the cargo hold, as you can see.

[00:14:22]The sides right there are the engines are crossing that line, they're crossing this line right here when centered. The front's too long, as you can see right there. So, yeah, this one is going to be a fail on the test.

[00:14:38]All right. Last but not least, we got the raft here.

[00:14:41]I think this is going to have the same issue as the Mall, so we'll see.

[00:14:46]Let me try to actually fix that angle.

[00:14:54]Okay, I got that correctly.

[00:16:32]And if you weren't satisfied with the Guardian and max, I close the roof.

[00:16:42]It's just smashing the thing on the ground.

[00:16:47]So, if you do, that's what you're going to get. It's I'm afraid of you walking near that thing now.

[00:17:01]By me, that's the result you're going to get. It's going to be bouncing like that.

[00:17:05]I wouldn't exactly call that being safe.

[00:17:10]Um I don't like it when it bounces like that.

[00:17:16]Uh But yeah, just at your discretion. I just would yeah.

[00:17:23]Door closes. It's okay for now. I don't know about long-term travel, how this will perform. But yeah, this is That's all for the I'm going to open the door and just see what happens. I am very curious.

[00:17:52]Again, yeah, I try to be thorough with these tests that I do. Walk around, open doors, and Okay, I'm surprised that's still standing.

[00:18:06]You know, I really thought that Guardian MX would have been [music] part of the ship, part of the crew technique. So, I Yeah, just you know, just discretion, you know, it's not practical.

[00:18:18]It is going to bounce like that. It will fit. I guess you can close the door. I don't know how long that's going to be practical though, if you're jumping around all over the place all day with a Guardian MX in here.
