In water system design, proper component placement and pressure management are critical for system reliability; removing excess spray heads reduced pressure-related issues, and positioning the filter before the pump can improve system performance by reducing turbulence and ensuring consistent pressure readings.

Working on the netfim water system. Getting somewhereAdded:
Fill on her up.
Got it set up how I did. Got the hose connected to the bottom.
Um I got it connected to the filter before it goes to the Shurflo inline filter or pump, I mean. Sorry. I'm going to try and not have verbal diarrhea.
Uh we got our fittings over here. This is usually where I would have my filter.
Um I probably should put the filter, you know, but I'm not worried about the filter. I'm not worried about pressure reducers. I just want to see if it [ __ ] works. So I have it hooked up.
Before this was connected in a square in a whole you know, in a loop. Um now I have it going around the [ __ ] table and coming to the end.
Now I usually have a pressure so that at the end lets so much water come until it build up enough pressure and then it stops. And then so essentially it just lets all the air out of the line.
And flushes the line. And now I have my pressure thing on the end. Now before I did have 10 more spray heads on here. Um and they did have the pressure compensating buttons on, but all that's taken off now. There is 10 left, so there's about 30 of these total.
Um I just noticed my phone is in vertical mode, so this video is going to suck for y'all wanting to put it in horizontal.
Uh that's enough water I guess to get it going.
Um before it would cut out. So it would go for a minute or whatever and then it would either lose pressure or I have no idea. So now we're going to see what it do.
Okay.
three 45 PSI is what the pump do. It's at 30 now.
With no reducers, nothing.
Everything is running.
They are going hard.
All the all the way down.
Oh.
It's going.
>> I really wonder if it being in the complete loop is what messed it up before. I don't I you know I I hardly doubt that that was what it was.
I wonder if taking 10 off the line actually helped.
Uh normal watering would be probably right around 8 minutes. So I guess we're a little more than what halfway would be on a normal full flower watering.
Huh.
>> I mean, it's still [ __ ] doing it. I mean, it seems like it's working now.
No idea.
No idea.
Hm.
I guess now I'll have to try to do it where I put the filter in. I don't want to put the filter before the pump. I'll probably take that piece of [ __ ] filter out.
I don't know about having to put a pressure reducer in. I mean, if it seems to be working without the pressure reducer and it's not blowing the lines out or nothing, then why would I want to [ __ ] with it, I guess.
I mean, that kind of pressure is kind of it's kind of a messy spray.
So, the less pressure you have, the less you're, you know, overspraying and [ __ ] or having to compensate by putting them facing the soil more. I don't know.
To be honest, I'm not really liking the spray stakes anymore, but it's what I have and it's what I'm going to use if I can get it to work.
I mean, it's [ __ ] working.
They're spraying. It it hasn't stopped like it did before.
[ __ ] if I know.
Yeah, it's staying consistent right at 30 PSI. So, the [ __ ] Maybe run it every which way, put the end cap back on and run it like I normally would and see.
I mean, it's kind of weird that it's just working with it all of a sudden.
Maybe because there is 10 left.
10 less?
I don't know.
I wouldn't imagine that taking 10 less off would make that big of a difference. I mean, it probably would make them spray less, not as hard, you know? So, I don't know. I don't know.
Maybe I'll put a pressure reducer on and see what I can do.
Be right back.
Huh.
I wonder if I put the fresh I wonder if I put the pressure regulator I don't know. If I put it further away from the pump, is it causing too much turbulence being right next to it? Hold on. Be right back.
Okay, so I don't have a way to get this any further away from that because that's my 3/4 inch hose thing to that 3/4 inch going in. Um Uh >> [sighs] >> I'm trying to have to figure out getting some kind of a connection to get it further away to see if the turbulence is happening right there at the piece in this pipe and this reducer pressure reducer that's [ __ ] the pump up.
Um I'm going to try it just like this.
Um but I have the filter now on that side of the pump. Let's see if that changes anything.
Sounds fine.
Sounds fine pulling through that filter.
Damn getting right up to that 30.
We've got to blow some of that air out of the lines cuz we don't have a iron on here.
So.
Uh yeah. All right. Well, that's uh That is working.
That's what I've been wanting it to [ __ ] work. So, I don't know. I guess try it with some nutrient snacks.
I don't know.
I might have to try this one round.
And if it works, who knows? I don't [ __ ] know, man. Money's [ __ ] tight and I don't I can't And now it's not a good time. I would love to get an auto pot system for this [ __ ] [ __ ] but I just right now I just can't. So, I don't know. This this kind of working is kind of what I got going on right now. It's kind of what I got going on.
It's working.
Hm.
A lot of spread, but I mean it's there Let's see if I can't get that reducer on and uh and see see if I can find any pieces to maybe move it down a little bit. All right, I'll be back.
Well, I guess that's where I'm stuck.
I got the filter, got the pump, everything. I just don't have a way to tap the line to the filter to another line. Need another one of these so I can connect the hose and maybe put it further down away from the pump. I'm hoping that it away from the pump will allow it to do it. If not, it won't allow it to bring the pump down to the right pressure. So, we'll just run it as is cuz it works. So, [ __ ] it.
That's it for now.
It's all I got I'm working on.
All right, I'm [ __ ] out of here.
