Why do you believe you don’t deserve good things?

[00:00:02]So why why do you believe that you don't deserve good things? I don't deserve it.

[00:00:09]It's one of the most self-abandoning of the self the sabotaging identities. This pattern feels like you finally get the relationship you wanted and immediately you start waiting for it to fall apart.

[00:00:22]Or somebody genuinely loves you and part of you wants to push them away. or you finally have a peaceful moment and immediately you feel guilty for relaxing. You finally get the help and you feel like a burden for needing it in the first place because deep down part of you still believes good things are just not meant for you. So even when life finally feels good, you still cannot just relax into it. And that's the trap. You become so used to struggle that peace becomes uncomfortable and eventually you stop trusting happiness altogether because there's a part of you it's always waiting for something bad to happen. Something to go wrong, something to disappear. And it's not because you don't care. No, it's because you care gigantically.

[00:01:07]It's because part of you learned receiving is dangerous. The soul wants love and peace and joy life, but survival says don't get too comfortable.

[00:01:18]You shouldn't have this something bad will happen. But the good news is of course you deserve good things. You are already worthy of love and joy, support, peace, just like everybody else.
