Don’t Underestimate This Little Flower 🌼

[00:00:00]So, this weekend was such a beautiful weekend to be in the garden. Now, I wasn't out here as much today.

[00:00:07]The temperatures dropped here in Georgia zone 8A, the Atlanta area. But, what I'm out here doing now, y'all, is I am harvesting some of our chamomile. So, this is a great herb to grow in your garden, in your herb garden. Uh chamomile really helps assist the body just like with calming the nervous system, calming down, just relaxing you.

[00:00:30]And this is a tincture that I have on my nightstand because some nights I know I need to go to bed, but it's like my brain and my body wants to stay up. So, I'll normally just put a few drops under my tongue, but tonight, since it was a little bit cooler, like the temperatures dropped by probably like 20°, I wanted to experience uh just tonight and maybe tomorrow night, too. I just wanted to experience a nice warm cup of chamomile tea. So, make sure that if you're not following us or subscribed to us, make sure you do that because often times uh we offer a lot of our loose leaf herbs online, and then we'll also offer a lot of our tea blends. We're going to be making new tea blends this season that I'm excited for y'all to try, and they're all grown right here. This has not been sitting in a warehouse.

[00:01:28]Um but again, if you have like a ragweed allergy, you definitely want to be uh mindful and careful uh when consuming chamomile, but it's just like such an amazing herb to grow in your garden, and I'm hoping that we'll get really, really lucky and that they will self-sow or drop seeds, and I won't have to start so many seeds in fall because what I do is I start um them in fall. I let them overwinter because Georgia, we have like a I know it says spring, but it's like a short spring as far as the temperatures are concerned. And so, when the weather starts to warm up, like they have like the chamomile really takes off. But we planted these in fall, and so this is like our chamomile patch over here. And I've been harvesting them because I make a tincture, but I make enough to last for the whole year in the household, and then we also offer the loose leaf um chamomile online. So, be sure that you follow us, y'all, because we had lemon balm, and we sell out super quick because again, this has not been sitting in the warehouse. Like I harvest, I wash, I preserve, I dry, and then I put them on the website. And so, we are going to amp up a lot of our um herbs that we're selling this year, but I want y'all to experience what I experience in the garden. It's such an amazing thing.
