Artichokes Are AMAZING & Delicious | Here’s How to Cook Them!

[00:00:03]A lot of times you see people on online when they're prepping their artichokes, they come in and they cut all the tips off because they're scary.

[00:00:12]You don't have to do that. We're going to get these cut. We're going to boil them in some lemon juice and water.

[00:00:20]Little bit of lemon juice. Water mainly.

[00:00:22]For only for about 15 minutes, then we're going to take them out and that's where we're going to soak them in our flavors that we want cuz we're going to grill these ones. I know you've seen me cook these a different way, but we're going to grill these ones on the Weber barbecue, Weber charcoal barbecue.

[00:00:35]Little bit of lemon water in there.

[00:00:37]That'll prevent them from browning and we're also going to cook it in it. Okay, so here are the artichokes right after they came out of the boiling water. We are going to mix our dressing. Some freshly minced garlic, olive oil, some high-quality balsamic vinegar.

[00:00:53]Italian dressing. Um, just going to go in with a little bit of this. Uh, you can choose to add it or not. It's up to you.

[00:01:01]And whisk it up.

[00:01:05]And ladle some of this in.

[00:01:07]Then, salt and pepper just over the top.

[00:01:09]Add as much or as little as you want.

[00:01:11]We're going to let them sit for 2 to 3 hours.

[00:01:13]All right, here's the artichokes after they've marinated a while. I'm going to set them right over the coals.

[00:01:19]And then we're going to take them and we're going to flip them over and do face side down.
