3️⃣ What was Town AI assistant able to do straight out of the box? Ep 3

[00:00:00]Welcome back. This is the third episode of my town AI assistant series where I do a bunch of videos yapping about a new AI tool before it's everywhere. This isn't sponsored. I'm just doing this off my own back. If you're new here, my name is Janet. I talk about AI tech and culture. The last video I talked about setting it up and my first impressions.

[00:00:15]This video I'm going to talk about what it was able to do without me giving it any context at all. Now, this wasn't a perfect outcome, but it was decent enough to show me what it was capable of. I set up this tool by connecting it to my personal email, my content and my calendar. There's lots of other things that you can connect it to, but I'm always very cautious with things like this. The first thing it did is it sent me a morning brief based on my emails alone. It landed at about 5:30 in the morning. The breakdown of this was it had the schedule in my personal calendar. It had the highlights. So, based on my emails, the things that it thought were important, flagged any issues or deadlines. Now, this was super useful. So, it picked up for example that one of my memberships was expiring and it's definitely something that I built on when I went to customize it, which I'll talk about in another video.

[00:00:58]It decided to include a section on AI and AGI updates. So, it's probably looked at the newsletters I'm signed up to and has decided that actually I should proactively give this woman the information. Now, there are a couple of things there that were interesting enough that I thought to myself, "Hmm, I might make a content about that." It suggested tasks that it could help me with.
