Windy with a few scattered storms this eveningAdded:
Hello everyone, it's meteorologist Lance Huffman with your Saturday evening forecast. Temperatures were warm today, highs in the lower 70s. We'll see some cooler days ahead as a cold front is passing through this evening, and it does continue to bring us a chance for more scattered showers and storms. Some of what we've seen already this afternoon and evening, they've been sub-severe and that's likely to stay the case as we get towards the later parts of this evening. Temperatures fall out of the 70s, we'll get into the upper 60s by 7:00, dropping through the rest of the 60s through these evening hours, and then into the 50s with lows in the mid-40s tonight. Even though we will be looking at a few passing clouds, some clearing skies will be available for quite a few of us, especially north of Fort Wayne. In far southern communities, especially in the early Sunday morning, there's going to be a few scattered rain showers in those areas. You can see how pretty much a few clouds will be mainly in our southern half of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, at least for our viewing area that you can see highlighted in those boxes. You can see those greens highlighted in some of those scattered rain showers that continue into round daybreak Sunday before things really taper off ahead of sunrise at least for Mother's Day. It'll be cooler for Mother's Day compared to what we saw out for today, but it's still going to be pretty nice. Not tracking rain for the entirety of the day. 64° the high temperature for Mother's Day, 59 Monday. Some of those rain chances do return Tuesday though, some of them could bring a few scattered storms as well. 63 Wednesday, 65 Thursday, 70s return Friday. Even highs get close to 80 next weekend.
