Two days in Stockholm with David & Dianna (and Trinity)

[00:00:03]And we're in Stockholm.

[00:00:06]So, this is City Hall. This is the opposite side of the building from from which we just filmed. This is my first time in Stockholm, but my second time in the country of Sweden.

[00:00:15]Uh yeah. So, not sure what we're going to get into over the next 48 hours. That's how That's how long we're here, just 2 days.

[00:00:23]Came in today on the train from Copenhagen. So, if you didn't already, please watch that video.

[00:00:29]But, yeah, I'll tell you what, this is just stunning. Very beautiful.

[00:00:51]So, this is the Royal Palace here in Sweden, where the king has absolutely no power. This is actually bigger than Buckingham Palace. It's not as ornate or I mean, you can walk right up to the front door.

[00:01:02]It's crazy.

[00:01:04]Here is the Parliament building. Also beautiful building.

[00:01:18]Right here in the heart of Gamla Stan, this is the Nobel Prize Museum.

[00:01:25]And right behind the Nobel Prize Museum is Stockholm Cathedral.

[00:01:34]This is the Royal Opera House. And then, what we're doing right now is heading down to that right there, which is Kungsträdgården, which is the King's Gardens.

[00:01:45]And here we are now, Kungsträdgården, the King's Gardens.

[00:01:54]Beautiful tulips.

[00:01:58]Love that.

[00:02:03]Someday when I'm famous there'll be a pigeon pooping on my head, too.

[00:02:25]This area is known as Sergels Torg.

[00:02:35]We're in part of town known as Normalm.

[00:02:39]King's Garden is in this part of town.

[00:02:42]Lots of retail. I mean, basically there's a American shopping mall, American-looking shopping mall behind me here or to left of me now.

[00:02:53]Swedish meatballs at Locknes.

[00:02:55]Comes highly recommended.

[00:02:58]I will not be purchasing any of the cucumbers, pickled cucumbers.

[00:03:04]Trinity and I both had the Swedish meatballs and I think we were both very satisfied with our meals. Yes, they were very, very good and I liked the little They're like cranberries almost. They're What is it called? Lingonberries. We've been We've been calling them dingleberries all night long just just for fun. But it was really good. It was all like combined with the gravy and the meatballs and the the mashed potatoes is very good.

[00:03:37]It's day two for us here in Stockholm and we came to the Vasa Museum. The Vasa is this uh Swedish warship that sank in the 1600s.

[00:03:47]Was at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. It literally sank on On maiden voyage 1,300 m offshore.

[00:03:54]And uh and it was on the underwater 333 years before being recovered and it's quite impressive.

[00:04:02]It's massive. I mean, zoom out so I can get it all.

[00:04:06]It is absolutely massive and uh we already watched the movie on it. Make sure you do that if you ever come here.

[00:04:16]It is insanely big.

[00:04:18]Very impressive, although wasn't the greatest uh engineering job ever, I suppose.

[00:04:39]We are um on our last evening here in Stockholm. We're on the grounds of the National Library, which in itself is a very beautiful building. Right now, we're at a park called Humlegården, and I hope hope I'm pronouncing that right.

[00:04:52]Correct me if I'm not, Swedish people.

[00:04:55]Um and I didn't you know I know I know this is not a very long video because we were just pretty much chilling for this uh this portion of our 17-day vacation. The only thing we really did was the the Vasa Museum. We're also going to go to the uh hopefully get a tour of city uh city hall before we leave tomorrow.

[00:05:15]Um but um I love Stockholm. It's my first time here and I would love to come back.

[00:05:23]But I I appreciate the uh um relaxed atmosphere, I guess, of this portion of our vacation and just chilling a little bit. And the weather's been beautiful. We're we're we're more dressed than we need to be right now. I don't need to be in a jacket. It's like 70° outside.

[00:05:37]But a beautiful beautiful city.
