Weather forecasts predict temperature patterns based on seasonal averages, wind conditions, and humidity levels; for example, the Greater Toronto Area will experience temperatures 7-9°C below seasonal averages today due to cold winds, but will warm up to seasonal levels by tomorrow with low humidity, followed by a peak warm period on Saturday and Sunday with temperatures around 27-28°C and slight humidex effects, before dropping back below seasonal temperatures by late Wednesday as a cold front passes through.

Temperatures warming up ahead of the long weekendAdded:
temperatures cool out there and then you throw on top of that a wind gusting or near 40 kilometers per hour all out of the northnorthwest and that makes it feel quite cool out there. Now those winds are going to be near 40 kilometers per hour until about 700 p.m. 7 or 8 and then they will start to die off as we head into this evening. But yes, these temperatures running well below seasonal, single digits even into Toronto through the midafternoon. And that puts us how much below seasonal?
about 7 to 8 7 to 9° below seasonal today. Tomorrow that's all going to change though. A risk of frost done in Toronto I think for the season. Not done though once you get up over some higher elevations with clear skies tonight. We do have that frost advisory back over for places like Mount Forest and Hanover back towards Kin Cardan. Uh so I'd hold off on planting another week or two uh off over those higher elevations. Big difference between London Windsor and Toronto. Toronto socked in with that cloud cover and a almost a sharp delineation here between who's into the sun and who's into that cloud. We may still wrap in a few scattered showers here through this afternoon into Toronto, especially the east end before high pressure takes over and that's going to give us that sunshine at least to start tomorrow. We will have some cloud cover rolling through in the afternoon, but these temperatures are now back to seasonal for tomorrow and then we're continuing to warm up through the weekend. So there's your afternoon cloud on Friday. Saturday morning we wake up to sunshine. Saturday afternoon, a very very slight chance about a 30% chance of some passing showers. The majority of the city, the majority of the day is going to be dry. So don't like stop your outdoor plans by any means. And even by the evening, we're going to clear those skies out. So if you've got Saturday evening dinner plans, you're good to go. These temperatures Saturday and Sunday are going to still be and and come with low humidity. That humidity will start to rise though on Monday. We'll have a slight humidex near 32. Some morning cloud, lots of sun. This is sort of the peak day or the pick day of the weekend I would say to get outside as this pool of cool air will continuously push off to the east allowing seasonal temperatures tomorrow and then this warmer pocket of air to move up towards the Great Lakes. And that'll last about two and a half days where it's going to feel kind of summerlike here, right? 27 28 slight humidex. Uh still 23 on Wednesday, but by late in the day on Wednesday once that cold front comes through, we will be dropping back down to below seasonal temperatures as we head into the following weekend.
Remember, average is about 19 for this time of year. And then it's not just the heat, it's the humidity represented by green here that will start to build as we head into Monday. Tuesday, it'll still be in place. Early Wednesday, still in place. And then the humidity will push out late in the day on Wednesday. So we'll get sort of two days, especially at night. You're really going to feel it here. Monday night 19, Tuesday night 18. And so it's going to be that warm feel. You know, normally when the sun goes down and there's not a lot of humidity, you really need to like get a sweater. You may not have to those two nights, but I will say all of these temperatures are going to be cooler near the lake on Saturday. Could be a good 8 to 10 degrees cooler down if on Toronto Island in case you were thinking of heading down there. And even on Monday, that southwest wind will be gusty here.
And so that breeze is going to keep things a little bit cooler out through the east end. Could be a good 5 to eight degrees cooler versus Pearson and areas uh more so to the west where those mid to high 20s are more likely.
