I I think loving your enemy is the the one teaching that can save democracy both here and around the world. I think that's that's where the answer is and it's something I struggle with all the time because I I feel myself in the Texas capital getting so angry with my colleagues.

[00:00:29]Right? I mean these are the the men that I work with banned abortion even in cases of rape and incest and threats to the mother's health.

[00:00:39]Since that day 26,000 Texas women have been forced to give birth after a rape.

[00:00:49]Infant and maternal mortality have spiked. Pregnant women are being told to wait in emergency room parking lots until they go into sepsis in the state of Texas because of the decision that was made by my colleagues a few blocks from here.

[00:01:02]And you know, I I've been on the floor when they've passed bills to hurt trans children. Some of the most vulnerable kids in our community. It's hard enough to be different as a kid and these politicians are using their immense power to hunt those children right in front of our eyes.
