Hanna and Marissa Wiegler, played by Mireille Enos, had gone from enemies to uneasy allies, which added a lot of emotional weight to the story. Because of that confrontation, the series was able to bring everything full circle, even though [music] it did so in a shorter season with just six episodes.

[00:03:47]But that new beginning also opens up a bunch of possibilities. Even though Hanna is trying to live a normal life, it's hard to imagine that everything would just stay peaceful forever. The CIA is still out there and given her history, they're unlikely to completely forget about her. So, even if she wants to move on, there's always a chance she could be pulled back into that world, especially if new threats start to emerge.

[00:04:16]Not all of them found closure and some were essentially left to figure things out on their own.

[00:04:21]Because of that, a potential season 4 could explore what happens when those characters try to adapt to life outside the program.

[00:04:34]Hanna might even find herself facing some of her former sisters again, although this time the situation would be very different.

[00:04:42]What makes this idea exciting is that it wouldn't just be repeating the same story. Instead, it could build on the themes of identity and choice that were already central to the series.

[00:04:53]Even though Hanna has grown and changed, those questions don't just disappear.

[00:04:57]They evolve, especially as she gets older and faces new challenges.

[00:05:02]If a season 4 were to happen, it would likely take place several years later, showing Hanna as a full adult.

[00:05:09]That time jump could add a fresh perspective because it would allow the story to explore how her past continues to shape her future. And even though she might be trying to live a quieter life, the skills she has and the experiences she's been through would always be a part of who she is.

Even though the show ended in 2021, people still talk about it and there's clearly an audience that would be interested in seeing what happens next. When a series leaves behind strong characters and a compelling world, it tends to stick with viewers for a long time.

[00:06:30]While there's no official confirmation that Hanna will return for a fourth season, the possibility is definitely still alive.

[00:06:38]It all comes down to whether the creators find a story that feels worth telling.

[00:06:42]But given how much potential there is, it's not hard to imagine that happening at some point. In the end, the first three seasons already tell a near complete and satisfying story about Hanna's journey from a sheltered child to someone who can choose her own path.

[00:07:20]Because of her ability to balance vulnerability and intensity, she could fit naturally into the world of trained operatives and hidden identities.

[00:07:35]Although the focus would still be on Hanna, adding a character like this could expand the story and create new dynamics, especially as Hanna steps into a more experienced, [music] guiding role.
