Where Do Most People Start Getting These Riddles Wrong?Added:
Today, I'm going to test your attention.
During the whole video, you should stay alert and keep your eyes wide open.
[music] Do you think you're ready? Yeah.
Let's see.
Okay, let's start with a riddle [music] about these two pretty ladies. I've heard a rumor that one of them isn't as young as she appears. She is 100 years old. But which one?
>> [music] >> It's the lady on the right. Take a look at her reflection in the mirror. It shows her true posture and true age.
[groaning and snorts] Callie is spending her vacation in the Maldes. She can choose one of these three bungalows, but unfortunately each road has some danger. The first road is on fire. The second road is swarming with venomous snakes and toxic waste is spilled all over the third road. Which way should Callie choose? [music] She should choose the first road. Callie can put out the fire with seawater.
[music] There's plenty around.
Look, there are two couples. Both of them seem pretty ordinary, but that's just at first sight. In fact, one of them is from another world. Which one?
[music] Of course, it's the couple on the left.
Take a look at this guy's feet. They don't match his reflection.
In a parallel universe, it was only allowed to have fun and eat candy. No one ever worked or studied. Mrs. Realm came back home after a long and fun day at a club. [music] Her three daughters were supposed to have fun, too. She asked them what they had been doing.
Hannah said, "I've been watching Netflix all day." Elle said, [music] "I went to a party." Ava said, "I had lunch with a bunch of girls." Still, Mrs. realm could tell that one of her daughters lied and actually spent all day studying. Who was it?
[music] It was Hannah. Look, there's an opened physics textbook [music] and some notes under her bed.
Ava had a sleepover with her friends, so no wonder that her room is a complete mess. Now she's going camping with her friends. She needs her boots, a flashlight, and a raincoat. Can you help her find them in the room?
Yes, here they are. Great job.
After Ava returns from her camping trip, she'll need to go to her art class.
[music] She needs her brushes, her paints, and a canvas. Can you help her find them?
Here, here, and here. Did you manage to locate all of them?
Ella is getting ready for a sleepover and can't find some things in her messy room, too. She needs her pajamas, a laptop, and a Bluetooth speaker. Can you help her find them?
Here they are. Did you find them all?
Now, Elle is getting ready to go to a club with some friends. [music] She needs her dress, makeup kit, and her wallet. Where are they?
They're all right here.
Okay. Now, I'll show you some photos. In each photo, [music] there are hidden numbers from 1 to 9, except for one.
Your task is to find all numbers and [music] identify which one is missing.
Here is the first one. Which number from 1 to 9 isn't in the photo.
Correct. There is no number three.
[music] Okay. Now, something a bit harder. A new photo, but the task is the same. Which number is missing?
Now there's no number seven.
The next one. Here it is. What do you say?
This time it's nine that's missing.
The task is getting harder and [music] the numbers aren't so easy to find anymore, but I believe you can do it.
So, go ahead. What do you say this time?
[music] There is no number five. That's right.
Okay, the last one. Concentrate [music] and give me the right answer.
Yes, number eight [music] isn't there.
Great job.
Alex is enjoying the sun in the backyard and Meadow is mowing the lawn before joining him in drinking her milkshake.
Which one of them is doing something stupid?
[music] Meadow. Her milkshake is standing in direct sunlight. [music] Firstly, it'll have melted by the time she's free. Secondly, the milk can go bad, so she's likely to get a stomach ache.
Thomas and Abigail are going on a date.
Abigail [music] arrived half an hour earlier and went book hunting to a nearby mall. Thomas is running late, so he's in [music] a hurry. Who is doing something wrong?
Thomas. He's driving on the left side [music] of the road.
Ryan [music] and Nea are camping. Ryan took a boat to cross the river and Nea went to collect [music] some sticks to make a fire. Who is in danger?
Ryan, look. The [music] boat has a crack in it and starts getting filled with water.
Asher and Haley are enjoying their vacations. Asher is on a beach and has fallen asleep. Haley is hiking in the mountains. Who is not smart?
Asher, the [music] sun is high in the sky, so it's around midday. He has fallen asleep, so he'll get a sunburn.
See, he's already pink.
[music] William and Wendy are late for work. Who is doing something wrong?
William. He's driving way above the speed limit.
Sam found his best friend Wendy [music] unconscious in her kitchen and immediately called the police. Here's what he had told them when the police arrived. She had been out of the city for a work trip and had just returned home. I was walking past her house with my dog and saw that the light was on.
[music] I peeked through the window and saw her lying here in the kitchen. So, I entered the house. I had the key. Sam was taken to the police station as a suspect. Why?
Sam said that he had been walking with his dog. But then, where is the animal?
Aurora was spending her summer in the countryside. She loved taking [music] long trips to the local forest alone.
During one of her walks, she came across a huge mansion. It was obvious that no one lived there, so she entered it. It was dusty inside, but very beautiful, so she took some pictures and left. When Aurora came back home, she scrolled through her photos to pick the best of them to post on her social media. When she saw one of the photos, she got chills. Take a good look at the photo.
Can you see what scared her so much?
Aurora noticed a ghost right here.
So, the mansion is haunted. Aurora looked through her other photos and saw more ghosts. But how many? Help her count them. Here's the next photo. How many ghosts can you find?
[music] One, two, and three. There are three ghosts in this one.
The next picture. Do you see any ghosts?
There are just two ghosts here, but they are very well hidden. Have you found both?
[groaning] In the last photo, how many ghosts can you find?
Look, there are four of them here.
Mr. Johnson got in a car accident and spent a month in the hospital. He had amnesia and forgot some things. He didn't have any family. A month later, [music] he finally returned home. He found his street, but then he realized he didn't remember which of the two houses was actually his house. [music] Can you guess which house belongs to him?
The light is on in this house, so someone must live there. As you remember, [music] Mr. Johnson lives alone, so his house must be the other one with dark windows.
Mrs. Brown is a landlord of an apartment building with a no pet policy. Not even fish are allowed. [music] One night, she heard a dog barking somewhere on the floor above hers. The next day, she inspected [music] two apartments. In which apartment? In which apartment does the dog live?
It must be this one. Even though there's no dog [music] in sight, the carpet is covered in dog hairs.
Louie is a famous fashion designer. He's visiting a fair and three wholesalers offer him their fabrics. Lawrence says, "My entire collection is made of natural materials. Just feel it." Olaf says, "I have the best prices, [music] sir.
You'll never find such a good deal elsewhere." And Ranada says, "Since you've been my favorite client for many years, I'll offer you a big [music] discount this time." Oh, really?
>> Who's lying?
>> Olaf, look. Lauren also has the same floral [music] fabric, but her price is twice lower.
Louie is meeting his makeup artist, Karen, and three models that he selected for his upcoming show. Sally, Kelly, and Shel.
>> Hello. [music] >> One of these three models is broke. Can you guess who?
Sally's phone doesn't look chic, but it doesn't prove anything. Maybe she has just crashed it and didn't have time to pay for repairs. Meanwhile, Shel is grabbing lipstick from Karen's bag, but maybe her intention is just to freshen her makeup, but Kelly is the only one who didn't cut off the price tag on her fancy jeans. [music] probably to be able to return them to the store.
>> Louie has been working hard in his studio all morning. He had just finished the last dress for his future show.
Masterpiece. I'm a genius. Louie leaves it in a storage room and goes outdoors to talk on the phone. 20 minutes later, he returns and barely faints. Someone had torn his masterpiece. Louie questions three suspects. Jerry, the office manager, says, "I didn't touch the dress. I was repairing our coffee machine." Karen, [music] the makeup artist, says, "I entered the storage room 30 minutes ago to take pictures of this dress and create matching makeup.
It was fine." And Sandra, the cleaning lady, says, "I entered the storage room with a vacuum cleaner 5 minutes ago. The dress looked torn, but I thought it was your fancy design." Who's lying?
Karen, 30 minutes ago, the dress wasn't finished yet, so she couldn't see it in the storage room.
Louisie and his wife, Maya, come to the big city for fashion week. They check in at the hotel, and Louis goes to the shower. Meanwhile, Maya goes outdoors to buy some coffee. Soon, Louie gets a call from an unknown number. A stranger says that he has kidnapped Maya and asks for a ransom.
>> You have to leave the money in a phone booth on 62nd Street. If you call the police, you'll never see Maya again.
Louis spent a long day looking for 62nd Street, but he couldn't find it.
Finally, he gets a taxi. The driver says that this street has another name. Can you guess the real name of the street?
Minute Street [music] because this number is pronounced 60 seconds which is literally a minute.
Louie brings the money to the phone booth. There he meets a masked criminal who doesn't say a word. He just gestures to Louis to follow him, but Louis says, "Come on, Maya. It's just a prank." How did he know?
Take a look at Louis hand. He's wearing a pretty extravagant wedding ring. And the pranker is wearing the same ring as well as Maya's manicure.
The next morning, Louis and Maya are driving to fashion week together and get stuck in a traffic jam. They see these two guys on the road. Can you figure out which one is more dangerous?
The man on the right, he's not looking at the road.
Finally, the guys arrive at the fashion week. There's a huge crowd around the podium. Can you see a policeman?
He's over here.
They go backstage and it's crowded as [music] well. But one of these models is not from Earth. Can you guess who?
This lady who's eating hair styling foam is definitely a stranger on this planet.
>> Louis fashion show begins. But some of his models lose their balance and fall.
Louie investigates this accident afterwards and finds out that someone had scattered pearl beads on the podium on purpose. He interrogates three suspects. His fashion rival Bianca says, "Before the show, I was taking selfies with influencers. I have evidence." See?
Famous blogger Hannah says, "Come on, Louie. Their failure went viral, so you should be grateful." And the guard, [music] Xavier, says, "Random people are not allowed to enter." So, it was one of the guests. After hearing what they had to say, Louie knows for sure who's guilty. What about you?
It was Bianca. [music] Take a look at her selfies with influencers. She's wearing three strands of pearls, but now she only has two.
After the show, Louie gets an invitation to a fancy party in a secret nightclub.
He's never been there before, so he's wandering around for a while and finds two doors. There's a guard standing by each door. One of them leads to the nightclub and [music] the second one to a creepy basement full of traps. One guard always lies and the other one always tells the truth. Louie can only ask one yes or no question to one of the guards. What question should he ask?
Here's the right question. Would the other guard say that this door leads into a trap? If he says yes, then it leads to the club.
The next morning, Louie enters his design studio and sees a huge bouquet of roses at his desk. The card says from a secret admirer. There are only three people in the studio today. Maya, Jerry, and Melissa. One of them is the secret admirer. Can you guess who?
Jerry. [music] There are some rose petals under his desk.
Louie throws a Halloween party at his house. But right before the event, he sees that someone has broken his favorite antique vase.
>> Louie questions everyone in the house.
Louis's wife, Maya, says, "I don't know what happened. I was making a costume."
The chef says, "I've just arrived with my ingredients to cook candies for trick-or-treaters."
Louis assistant says, "I was decorating the house for the party." And his sister says, "I went trick-or-treating and already collected a bunch of candies."
Who's lying?
The chef. It doesn't look like he's [music] making candies.
After the party, Maya tells Lou, "I have a riddle for you. If you crack it, I'll wash [music] all the dishes." Louis agrees. Yeah, >> it's fun to do, but you hate knowing your parents do it, too. What is it?
The correct answer is Facebook.
[music] The next day, Louie wakes up inspired. He arrives at his studio to make some sketches and freaks out. Can you find five weird things about this place?
There's a ghost reflected in this mirror. This mannequin is moving and winking. All the windows are closed, but the curtains are flowing. This lamp doesn't have any wires. It's just floating in the air. And the hat is decorated with rotten fish.
Suddenly, Louie hears a weird sound.
It's coming from the basement. He walks down there, but it's empty. Suddenly, the door slams shut. To escape, Louis needs to choose one of these three doors. The first path is filled with toxic gas. The second path has a bunch of bare [music] wires, and there's a fire breathing dragon behind the third door. Can you help Lou choose the right door?
Louie should choose the second door. The floor is dry and he can easily crawl under the wires.
Louie walks outside and moves to the parking lot. Finally, Louie finds his car. Can you see anything weird here?
The reflection in this window doesn't match reality.
Louisie opens a new fashionable boutique and throws a party. But one of his guests is a thief. Can you spot who exactly?
This guy, he's wearing two watches.
There are many glamorous guests at the boutique opening. Take a look at these three couples. One of them will divorce soon. Can you guess who?
This one. She doesn't even want to touch him. At the party, one of the ladies approaches Louis and says, "Excuse me, have you seen my husband?" One of these three guys is her husband. Can you guess who?
>> It's this guy. He's wearing red trousers and this lady is holding his red jacket.
Olivia is a travel blogger. Today she's filming a trip to an ancient ruined city on a mountain. Can you spot anything odd?
These ruins are ancient, but there's a dusty air conditioner hanging on the wall.
The next day, Olivia goes to the local aquarium. She enters the hall to buy a ticket. Meanwhile, a magical portal opens on the roof and two wizards get out of it. They jump into one of the aquariums and take the shape of some marine animals. Can you help Olivia figure out where the wizards are?
>> [music] >> These two creatures look pretty weird.
Olivia goes hiking and meets a stranger at a campsite. His name is Mike. He's panicking and calling for help while his wife Khloe is lying unconscious on the wet ground. Khloe and I went to a picnic. We set up a large awning and then it started raining right away.
Chloe stayed to [music] make a fire and I went to get some food. It started raining even more and I hid under a big tree. When I came back, I found Chloe unconscious. Olivia examines the scene and immediately realizes that Mike is a liar. How did she know?
If Mike and Chloe really set up the awning before the rain, the ground under [music] it would be dry, but it's wet.
Olivia goes to a restaurant with her sister, Nah, and her three [music] close friends. They chat, laugh, and take lots of selfies. All of them leave at about 9:00 p.m. and go in different directions. In an hour, the police find Nah unconscious on the street. They question all the friends who attended the dinner in the restaurant, but all of them deny their guilt. After that, the police look through the pictures taken at the restaurant and identify the criminal [music] right away who attacked Nenah.
Nenah tried to protect herself and broke Sheila's glasses. That's why Sheila had to put on another pair.
Olivia goes to Alaska to make a documentary about this picturesque lake.
She rents a cabin for a couple of weeks.
Unfortunately, she has a very annoying neighbor, Glenda. They're arguing all the time. One day, Glenda calls the police and accuses Olivia of stealing her clothes from the rope.
In the morning, I hung my clothes up, but then I saw Olivia folding the clothes and shoving them into her bag.
The policeman immediately realizes that [music] Glenda is lying. How?
>> [bell] >> It's freezing outside. The clothes would have gotten frozen and too hard to be folded.
Olivia enters the local cafeteria, orders lunch, and goes to wash her hands. After that, [music] she returns and finds a dish with a lid on her table. Olivia removes the lid and freaks out. There's a rat inside. One of these three guys pranked her. Can you guess who?
The guy on the right, there's a mouse trap behind him.
Olivia is exploring the local ski resort [music] and meets Rick. He's very upset.
I'm having the most important competition in an hour, but my ski jumpsuit is gone. I took it off to go to the toilet and left it in the dressing room. Someone stole it. Olivia interrogates three suspects among Rick's rivals. Kyle says, "I was too busy preparing my own equipment. I don't know who took your suit." Ryan says, "I put on my ski suit at home. That's why I didn't visit the resort's dressing room today. I've just arrived, so I didn't see what happened." And finally, Dylan says, "I've been drinking tea with friends on a balcony, and I think I saw one guy in your jumpsuit snowboarding on a mountain. Who's lying?
Ryan, if he [music] put on his ski suit at home and just arrived, why is he wearing a casual outfit? Olivia arrives at the airport to [music] fly to Brazil.
Three fans approach her and ask for a selfie. One of them is not from this planet. Can you guess who?
>> [bell] >> The first lady has many random decorations in her dreads, but maybe it's just her style. The third guy's outfit looks pretty outdated, but it also doesn't prove anything. Meanwhile, the second lady has an additional pair of eyes on her knees, so she's probably not from Earth.
Olivia and the other passengers go through a security check. One of the suitcases seems very suspicious, and the guards interrogate its owner. Can you spot this luggage? [music] This suitcase seems to belong to a lady, but why does she need just one male shoe? Probably to hide something forbidden.
The plane takes off and Olivia falls asleep. [music] She wakes up in an hour and finds out that her book is missing.
She questions people nearby. Jake [music] says, "Sorry, I was watching a movie. I'm not into books. Brandon says, "I didn't see your book because I'm blind." And Diego says, "I also took a nap, so I didn't see anything, but you can use my ebook if you will." One of them is lying. Can you guess who?
[bell] Brandon, if he's really blind, why is he using a regular laptop?
Finally, the stewardis announces dinner time. Olivia can choose one of these four lunch boxes, but unfortunately, she's allergic to all green vegetables and seafood. What box should she choose?
First of all, let's exclude the first and the second boxes [music] because they have seafood ingredients. And since Olivia is only allergic to green vegetables but not fruits or herbs, the fourth option is the best because she [music] can eat everything here.
Olivia lands in Brazil and takes a train to get to her hotel. She takes a brief nap on the way. Then she wakes up and pulls out a mirror to check her makeup.
Oh no, someone drew a mustache on my face while I was sleeping. Olivia interrogates people nearby. Isabella says, "I was listening to my music and looking at the window all along. I don't know who did it. Carlos says, "Look, lady, I'm a serious [music] businessman.
Why would I waste time on silly pranks?"
And Maria says, "Hm, seems like the pranker used a permanent marker. Don't worry, I have super strong wet wipes to wash it off." Who pranked Olivia?
Maria. Olivia didn't mention that she can't wash off the mustache. So, how did Maria know that the marker was permanent? Also, take a look at her phone. She took a picture of Olivia sleeping.
Olivia checks into the hotel. She enters her room and faces a cute surprise.
Someone left a huge basket with food and flowers for her. The note says, "For my [music] favorite blogger." Olivia wants to know who her secret admirer is, so she interrogates three people in the lobby. The manager says, "No one warned me about the gift basket. I don't know who sent it." The repair man says, "Sorry, [music] miss. I've been painting benches in the garden all day long, and I didn't enter the rooms." And the cleaning lady says, "I entered [music] your room in the morning to clean up before check-in. I didn't see any baskets." Who's the secret admirer, the repair man. He painted the benches yellow and got his hands dirty. And then he left a couple of yellowish fingerprints on the basket and the note.
Tomorrow, Olivia is having an important podcast with another celebrity. [music] Her assistant has prepared two versions of advertisement flyers. Can you spot three differences? Here they are.
In the evening, Olivia goes to the beach to watch the sunset and have dinner.
During her picnic, different guys are passing by the shore and make attempts to impress Olivia. Each of them claims to be the owner of this chic sports car that is parked nearby. Can you help Olivia spot the real owner among these three strangers?
The car belongs to the first guy. He's holding one swimming fin in his hands.
[music] Meanwhile, the second one is in the car.
Olivia goes [music] to the local waterfalls. She asks one of the tourists to take her picture. He takes two. Can you see three differences between them?
Here they are.
Greetings to the best Bright Side detectives. Have you prepared your magnifying glasses? Then let's start.
>> Yeah.
>> A man was trapped in a dark room. His only source of light was a candle. There were three doors leading out of the room. Behind one of them, there was a tunnel that could help him escape.
Behind the other two doors, there was a concrete wall. The man had a key that could open any of the doors, but he could only use it once. Still, the managed to get away. How did he do this?
He brought the candle to each of the keyholes in turn. Near the door with the tunnel, the flame started to flicker.
[music] Imagine that you're stuck on the top floor of a 30story building, and there are no stairs you could take. Your only option is to use an elevator. There are four elevators in front of you, but the first one is swarming with extremely venomous spiders. [music] In the second elevator, ah, look, there's no elevator.
You can only see an empty shaft. The third elevator is filled with toxic liquid. As for the fourth elevator, a furious, hungry tiger is inside. It seems like a no-win situation, but you have to find a way out. Which elevator?
You should choose elevator number three.
As soon as the doors of this elevator open, all the liquid will pour out. And the only thing you'll need to do is to step far away enough not to have your shoes soaked.
Now, let's check how attentive you are.
>> Try to figure [music] out which rabbit doesn't have a twin. A small hint, pay attention to the matching patterns on their ears, bellies, [music] and cute little faces.
Yep, that's the one we're looking for.
Unlike others, it has [music] darker spots around its nose and on its ears.
And here's a bunch of kitties with their [music] tails sticking up. A perfect hiding spot for a little bunny. Can you find it?
This white rabbit is hiding literally in plain sight.
Damian has bought a new keyboard, but apparently the seller fooled the guy and gave him a fake one. Can you find the [music] proof?
The keyboard has no fives, but there are two fours.
Someone hid a soccer ball in this crowd of [music] happy pandas. Can you spot it?
Right here [music] it is. So easy to miss.
A dog has run away from its master.
[music] It's now hiding somewhere among all these bulls. Can you help the worried owner find his pooch? [music] Right here it [music] is. Similar, but not the same.
Look at these [music] two ladies. Which one seems suspicious?
>> [music] >> It's the woman on the right. Her reflection is all wrong. She's probably not human.
All these people seem to be taking a shower. But which [music] one is doing something wrong?
>> [music] >> The guy on the left, he probably just pretends to be taking a shower, but the water isn't running.
Look at these people dancing at a costume party attentively. You need to figure out who is a werewolf.
It's that guy in the corner. He's wearing a human mask, but his thick hair is peeking from underneath the mask.
All of these people look well off, wearing some jewelry and nice [music] outfits, but only one of them is indeed rich.
It's that guy in a t-shirt. While he's focusing on his work, his bodyguards are waiting for him. Look at how attentively they're watching him and their surroundings. [music] Which of these girls relaxing near the swimming pool is married?
This girl doesn't have a ring, but she's wearing it on another finger. The second girl doesn't have a ring whatsoever.
It's the third girl that's married.
[music] She must have taken her ring off before going for a swim. Even though she isn't wearing it, there's a visible tan line on her ring finger.
In one magic country, all animals are intelligent and rational. [music] In one clearing, there are 10 lions and a sheep. Your task is to watch them and make sure the lions don't harm the sheep. If you get distracted, a lion can eat a sheep.
But what [music] the lions don't know is that if one of them does this, it will turn into a sheep, too. In this case, the rest of the lions will probably eat it as well. If you leave this lovely company alone for some time, how many lions and sheep will you find when you come back?
[music] When you return, most likely there will be nine lions and one sheep. The main thing here is that all the animals are rational. Once the lion eats the sheep and turns into a sheep itself, the rest of the lions will understand the consequences and prefer to stay in the safety of their natural form.
Oliver got a present for his girlfriend Victoria. It was a new smartphone she'd wanted for ages, but Oliver didn't give it to her right away. Instead, he put it into a box. Victoria had to figure out in which of these three boxes the gadget was. Each box had a note. It's in here.
Your present isn't here. It's not in the first box. Only one of these notes told the truth. Where is the smartphone?
>> [music] >> If it's in the first box, it'll mean that claims one and two [music] are correct, which contradicts the conditions of the riddle. If the phone is in the third box, [music] then both claims two and three will be true. But if the device is in the second box, note number three will be the only truthful statement.
Mr. Smart's wife went missing. A detective [music] came to investigate this case. Mr. Smart told her the following. The last time I saw my wife was in the morning. She was having breakfast. [music] When I returned home at 6:00 p.m., her breakfast was still on the table, but she had disappeared. After hearing the man's story, the detective immediately arrested Mr. Smart. [music] Why did she do so?
When the detective [music] arrived at the Smart's house, the breakfast on the table was still steaming. This means that Mr. Smart had set up the scene right before he [music] called the police.
Once Mr. Blue, Mr. Red, and Mr. White meet for dinner. When they take off their jackets, Mr. Blue draws their attention to the fact that each of them is wearing a shirt different from their surname. The man in a white shirt [music] looks surprised and says, "Yeah, Mr. Blue, you're right. Can you figure [music] out which shirt each man is wearing?"
So, let's think logically. Mr. Blue can be wearing only a white or red shirt, but we know for sure that another man is dressed in white. [music] This means that Mr. Blue can only be in a red shirt. Mr. White could be dressed in a blue [music] or red shirt, but the red one is already taken by Mr. Blue. So, we can logically conclude that Mr. White [music] is wearing blue. And as a result, this leaves us with Mr. Red [music] dressed in a white shirt.
Liza was a popular guitar player in a rock band. On Friday, the band was going to have a big gig. Liza's bandmates were waiting for her, but the girl was very late. Eventually, she showed up, but it wasn't Liza. It was her twin sister Alice. She was envious of Liza, so she locked her [music] sister in the room, took her clothes and the guitar, and pretended to be a band member. But as soon as the musicians saw a fake Liza, they immediately knew she wasn't their bandmate. How did they understand?
Look how long the girl's nails are. You need to have short nails to play the guitar.
A man came to a fruit market to sell watermelons. After he sold half of them and half of [music] a watermelon, he saw he had one watermelon left. How many watermelons did he bring to the market?
He came there with three watermelons.
>> Hey, brightiders, your regular brain workout is ready. Hope you've come prepared. Let's start.
[groaning] >> Patrick called the police. The man seemed to be extremely worried. My wife Victoria took our dog for a walk in the afternoon. Several hours ago, our pooch returned alone. I don't know where Vicki is. The police questioned the suspects, people who were often seen near Patrick's house. [music] Mrs. Summers said she'd been watching TV all day long. I was busy delivering mail, >> said the mailman. I didn't have time to linger in this area, and I didn't see anything. And Mr. Thomas told the police he'd [music] been working in his home office. The detective knew at once that one of these people was lying. Who was it? [music] It was the mailman. His sleeve [music] is a bit torn and there's a dog bite on his arm. Plus, do you see some black fur on his pant leg? Victoria's dog probably tried to [music] protect the woman.
Peter graduated [music] from the police academy and began to work as a trainee detective. One week [music] into his new job, Peter already had the first tricky case on his hands. One of his [music] colleagues was investigating a series of crimes connected with smuggling. She was close to [music] solving the case, but several days ago, the woman disappeared.
Peter visited the last location where his colleague had been spotted and found a note.
Peter had three suspects. Bill, a manager at an oil company, Todd, a jeweler, and John, a [music] car dealer.

Make your choice.
So, if you decided to lose your hearing, you prefer giving over receiving. If you chose to lose your voice, it means that you live in harmony with [music] yourself.
Here's your next choice. Being the only person on [music] Earth or having others constantly pick on you.
If you chose the first option, you're most likely afraid of pain. If you pick the second option, you're confident and have your life together.
And here's the last one. You're on the highest floor of a very tall skyscraper.
Would [music] you rather drop a phone or a kitten?
If you chose the kitten, I'm not proud of you. But the good news, the kitten was saved by another person. If you chose a phone, good job. She had a riddle for the witch. Esme took a small magic stone, put it in an empty glass bottle, and closed it with a cork. How can the witch take the stone out without taking the cork out or smashing the bottle?
The witch should push the cork into the bottle and then take the stone out.
Well, since Esme paid her a visit, the witch had a riddle for Esme, too. She took six glasses and placed them in a row. The first three glasses were full.
There were potions in them. The other three glasses were empty. Esme could touch and move just one glass at a time.
How should she arrange the glasses so that no full glass stands next to another full one, and no empty glass stands to another empty one [music] using the least number of moves? Okay, here's the solution. How long did it take you to figure it out?
Okay, no matches this time, but there are figures. Can you figure out the ratio of the small red triangle to the big white [music] one? It's easier than it seems. Think outside the box.
To figure it out, you just need to rotate the red triangle like this. Now you can see that three more triangles of the same side can fit in. So four in total. So the ratio is 1:4.

Here's the first apartment. Who do you think lives there?

Okay, well done. Here's the next house.
Do you think you can figure this one out?
Pay attention to the wall. There's a whole board with photos, cutout newspaper articles, and so on. I think it's a detective's house.
Here's the next one. I think this one is harder, but we'll see what you have to say. What's your call?

[music] Look, there's a top hat, a rabbit in a cage, a magic wand, and other weird objects here. It seems like this apartment belongs to a magician.
Okay, here's the last house for today.
Keep your eyes wide open. Do you see anything that could give you [music] a hint?
Yes. Take a look out the window. There's a cow and a horse and a couple of pigs in the field nearby. I believe this person is a farmer living on a farm. Did you get it right?
Four people are in an escape room and this is their last task. They are placed this way. Three people are one behind another. The first person doesn't see anyone. The second can only see the first person and the [music] third person can see both of them. The fourth person stands behind the wall. They can't see anyone and no one can see them. These people know that each of them is wearing a hat and that there are two white hats and two black hats. They will win if one of them calls out the color of their own hat, but they can't communicate in any way. After a minute, one of them figures it out correctly.
Go.
Person D sees a white hat and a black hat, so she can't be so sure about the color of her own hat, so she doesn't say anything.
