[00:00:09]Okay, so in 1956, Dwight D. Eisenhower was running for re-election as president and Nixon was running for re-election as vice president.

Stassen, the guy who lost the 1944 Republican nomination to 44 Republican The guy who lost the 1944 Republican nomination to Dewey, and the 1948 Republican nomination to Dewey, and the 1952 Republican nomination to Eisenhower hopes to dump Nixon so he would become the running mate.

[00:00:50]But what if it'd been successful? Well, it certainly would have been successful. Obviously, Nixon wouldn't have been re-elected as vice president and obviously, Harold E.

[00:01:12]Dwight D. Eisenhower wins the election with the same margin as in real life.

[00:01:19]Dwight D. Eisenhower would pretty much do the same in this alternate universe or this alternate history video, but you know what I mean.

[00:01:28]Anyway, in 1960 Nelson Nelson Rockefeller, Henry Cabot Lodge Jr., former vice president Richard Nixon, and vice president Harold E.

[00:01:37]Stassen all fighting for the Republican nomination. But obviously, Harold E.

[00:01:42]Stassen gets the Republican nomination as he was vice president.

[00:01:49]And obviously, Nick And obviously, Nixon wouldn't be picked as vice president.

[00:01:57]He would go with Henry Cabot Lodge Jr.

[00:02:02]Can he win in 1960? Let's find out. 1960 USA election.

[00:04:16]Now, Robert F. Kennedy does still get assassinated. So, obviously, Humphrey gets the nomination. Mainly because neither neither Carter nor McCarthy were popular enough to win.

[00:04:46]Hubert Humphrey is able to win in 196 Is able to win in 1968.

[00:04:55]Continuing on here with Stassen's legacy for the Vietnam War. The reason why Henry Lodge won lost was because people were exhausted of it. 16 years of Republican leadership.

[00:05:12]Now, obviously, the Vietnam War would obviously like end it within Humphrey's first term.

[00:05:25]And he would try to pass some legislation.

[00:05:30]And he would be able to successfully do so and veto and veto 500 bills in his first term. Even more than Grover Cleveland, who vetoed 415 bills.

[00:05:49]Nelson Rockefeller, who lost in 1960 and 1964 Republican primaries to to Stassen in the 1968 Republican primaries to launch his own Republican nomination in his own right.

[00:06:11]Hubert Humphrey wins re-election by winning states like Wisconsin, Washington state, Oregon, and New Mexico, and Texas. Over the years, Humphrey wouldn't mean a wouldn't really make a change to America. Many people would find Humphrey as very unpopular. He would try to pass some legislation, but Congress would make it a 50-50 tie.

[00:06:48]Anyway, when 1976 rolled around, Democrats nominated Vice President Jimmy Carter with Edmund Muskie.

[00:06:57]In 1976, Republicans nominated Ronald Reagan, and he nominated Richard Schweiker.

[00:07:22]Humphrey's legacy or Reagan populism as obviously, Jimmy Carter focuses on expanding Hubert Humphrey's legacy if he were to win.

[00:07:33]1976 USA election, Carter Muskie vs. Reagan Schweiker.

[00:07:39]Ronald Reagan wins in a landslide with 500 electoral votes as the terrible economy outplayed and outsmarted the Democrats in 1976.

[00:07:56]But it's very well that stock prices would still have happened.

[00:09:33]He is able to to form a working He is able to be liked by mostly the working class and and kids and young professionals.

[00:09:49]And he is popular for vetoing a couple a couple of bills.

[00:09:57]Which is good for him. But, however, he is not able to fix the economy.

[00:10:18]And then, out of no nowhere in in 1988, another recession would come.

[00:10:30]But, it was after the oil recession came to an end.

[00:10:37]Schwarzenegger vs. Brown-Kennedy.

[00:10:43]Which is Schwarzenegger easily wins with 500 electoral votes, again outplaying the Democrats.

[00:10:57]Clinton-Gore vs. Schwarzenegger.

[00:11:02]Due to the Persian Gulf War, raising taxes and federal income, it all heavily cost Schwarzenegger the presidency as Bill Clinton easily wins, defeating incumbent Arnold Schwarzenegger with 300 and and 85 electoral votes, same same amount as real life.

[00:11:30]And he would easily win 50/50 percent as would run he ran in this in 1992. He would run for president later in 1996.

[00:11:42]Bill Clinton would again pretty much do the same in this alternate universe, just like Eisenhower and Reagan.

[00:11:52]Las would who I just said earlier would get the Republican nomination over figures like Pat Buchanan or Pat Robertson.

[00:12:43]Al Gore easily wins 2000 with 367 electoral votes.

[00:12:49]9/11 still happens.

[00:12:53]But but [snorts] it goes very differently.

[00:12:57]And the COVID-19 pandemic would happen just a day after.

[00:13:02]And the 2008 recession would instead happen in 2 in 2003.

[00:13:08]The Iraq War would also break out in 2003.

[00:13:13]9/11 would cause 300 deaths.

[00:13:16]COVID-19 would go with over a million deaths.

[00:13:20]2003 Iraq War allowed 100,000 deaths.

[00:13:25]2004 tsunami, 145 deaths.

[00:13:30]And the Ukraine and Gaza war happening the day after COVID, 900,000 deaths.

[00:13:48]As with no George W. Bush, there was nothing at all to stop Obama from running with the Republicans.

[00:14:04]Barack Obama destroys Al Gore with 500 electoral votes.

[00:14:11]It was such a big landslide that Al Gore didn't even win Tennessee or his predecessor's home state of Arkansas, Bill Clinton.

[00:14:20]And Al As Al Gore only won Texas and South Carolina, Barack Obama's term is basically the opposite of Al Gore's.

[00:15:15]Barack Obama wins the election, desp- despite Minnesota and New York turn against him.

[00:15:29]The Republicans are taking blame for stagflation and due to it and Obama raising taxes.

[00:15:39]The Republicans will likely struggle because of it. 2012 USA election, Trump-Pence vs. Sanders-Keane.

[00:15:50]By midnight, Trump secured Michigan and Pennsylvania and was easily the favorite to win out the entire night, but then a level of shock. Bernie Sanders was able to win Wisconsin and Texas and South Carolina and Mississippi, winning the election.

[00:16:10]2016 USA USA election, Sanders-Clinton vs. Pence-Rubio.

[00:16:20]Bernie Sanders would get reelected in 2016.

[00:16:39]2020 USA election, Cruz-Rubio vs. vs. Harris- Buttigieg.

[00:16:49]Ted Cruz was able to win 2020.

[00:16:52]Gavin Newsom runs against incumbent President Ted Cruz in 2024, taking a strong stance against Ted Cruz's policies and wanting fully electric cars by the year 2045 or 21,000. 2024 USA election, Newsom-Harris vs. Cruz-Rubio.

[00:17:13]Ted Cruz wins reelection in 2024. 2028 USA election.

[00:17:19]Rubio with Kasich vs. vs. vs. Bush, or Shapiro.

[00:17:31]And if Rubio is able to win 2028.
