13Weather Forecast | 6 p.m. update, May 10, 2026Added:
Wow, that's incredible. It is.
All right, let's talk about the weather because it has just been a beautiful day for all moms out there. I hopefully are getting in the garden or enjoying a barbecue that dad cooked or, you know, something like that. Something fun.
>> was very nice. You know, we we've been pretty lucky with the last few rain events.
>> We have.
>> They've arrived overnight and so they've allowed for, especially on the weekends, that the weekend during the day It's nice.
>> It's been great.
>> Yeah.
>> I think that's going to continue.
>> Okay. The next few rain chances, and maybe even next weekend, because we do have more rain on the forecast for next weekend. Let's hope that we get the same type of timing. Here's where we are right now. 60s and a couple of 70s have been popping up out there. We do have some clouds that have been passing through, but overall been a very nice day. Temperatures just a little bit cooler than where they should be for this time of year. Average high this time of year is in the low 70s. We're mostly in the mid to upper 60s, but there are a few locations that are a bit warmer than that. Sunshine has helped, but it has been contrasted with this north or northwest wind that has helped to kind of keep things a little bit cooler than where they should be for this time of year. Now, from where we go from here, overall, there's nothing major moving our way. This system should stay to our south. We're not worried about that too much. So, what you see is what you get, at least for your Monday.
By Tuesday, we do expect to see some minor changes though to our forecast.
These current temperatures, we'll take them down through your evening. If you do have evening plans, I think you're going to get a fairly nice evening out of this. Temperatures will come down a bit. Once we do lose the sunshine, the temperatures may actually drop pretty quickly because we have pretty dry air in place. So, we'll head down into the low 40s for tonight, but that means we're going to warm right back up tomorrow into the mid to upper 60s, maybe even close to 70s. This next uh future track run that's come out has got us into the low 70s, and I certainly think it's possible, but yet again, that northwest wind is going to counter that and kind of meet in the middle somewhere. Future track for early Thursday morning gets us into the 30s for a few locations. I don't know that we'll necessarily do that. I think we'll stay right around 40° or so, but upper 30s could certainly be possible for a few locations. At the moment, I'm not concerned about frost, but certainly something we'll keep our eye on. Heading into Tuesday afternoon, you'll notice some clouds filtering in by the afternoon, and this will be the next rain chance. Now, the rain chance will be small in the afternoon. The better chance is actually going to arrive once this front tries to roll through sometime late Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Again, an overnight scenario where we can get the rain through there during the overnight, so that by Wednesday afternoon, uh we can clear things out and hopefully enjoy pretty nice day out of this. So, for tomorrow, almost identical to today. We get a lot of sunshine out of this.
Temperatures able to warm up mid to upper 60s. Uh we will keep the rain chance off until late on Tuesday. That's why I think most of the day is going to look like this. We may have some showers early on Wednesday, but then we should clear out. Now, we've got some rain chances for coming up next weekend as the temperatures go back into the 80s.
So, certainly much warmer than where we are right now. Most of those showers on Saturday look to arrive late Saturday night, and then on Sunday, they should clear out in the morning. That's still a week away, so we still have some time to watch that as it gets a little bit closer, but we might get lucky enough to see those overnight rain chances allow for nice daytime temperatures.
