The video weaponizes scientific data to manufacture a narrative of conspiratorial dread, prioritizing sensationalist speculation over epidemiological reality. It is a calculated exercise in fueling institutional distrust by framing a rare disease as a looming global threat.

THIS WILL CHANGE EVERYTHINGAdded:
The HANA virus is spreading. There's a man, we don't know how he got it. He's in Illinois. He's feared to have the Haunt virus. People aren't sure exactly how he got it. And we also have this story. A millionaire Oregon doctor says he caught the disease during an expedition. We have this story as well from the New York Post. Vacationing doctor who stepped in to treat haunt virus patients on MVandius tests positive for the virus. Now, I'm going to start off by giving you my gosh darn honest opinion. This is a whole lot of hubbhub hubhub. I say we are in between political cycles and the news needs war, conflict, crisis. If it bleeds, it leads. And so, when you get a story about something scary like virus, they're going to run with it. But I got to give a fair point to our friend Brett Weinstein, Brett Weinstein, whichever way it's pronounced Brett, sorry. uh as he pointed out this actually doesn't make sense. You've got the WHO commenting on haunt virus.
You've got madna in the last three years has decided to start manufacturing a vaccine for h virus. H virus is an extreme illness. Kills 40% of people who get it. With western prominent first world treatment, it drops down to between 5 and 15% but still massively lethal. Massive. I think corona virus covid was like uh 3% which is still really bad but it was like a really bad flu because the flu is like 1.5. So people do die from this but it tends to be the very very young or the very very old which is still scary right we don't want people to die virus oh boy the thing is though it's such an extreme illness it kills you before you can act it can actually spread and the interesting thing is that Brett was talking about this I don't want to put words in his mouth because maybe you know I'm going to get it wrong but my understanding was the thing about viruses even if you if even if you gain a function engineer them to be massively infectious and lethal is that evolution stops this no matter what. The idea is like this. Let's say a bunch of uh whackaloon, you know, Fouchy acolytes go and make a virus in a lab. They make it as lethal and as transmissible as possible. The way they do it's actually really simple, guys. I want to explain to you most things are simple. How do we generate electricity? We spin a turbine.
How do you spin the turbine? We burn coal to heat water which creates steam pressure which spins a turbine. What about solar? Believe it or not, although we do have photovalttaic as particularly a common way of making electricity. We blast mirrors at a vat of salt water which creates steam pressure. Wait, wait, wait. What about nuclear energy?
Ah, now this is where it gets more complicated. You see these enriched uranium rods which emit tremendous heat are put in water which boil the water creating steam pressure which spins a turbine. You see where we're going with this all very very simple gain of function research. They take a bunch of animals that are infected with a disease. They put them in a cage together so they all get the disease and then they look at the animals say hey that one's bleeding from the eyes. Take that one out and put it in this other population of rats. So you get 15 rats.
They all get sick. One bleeds from the eyes and you go, "This one's got eye bleeding." Put that one in the next healthy rat section. They all catch the eye bleed virus. Then one of them starts vomiting and they go, "We got eye bleeding and vomiting." Put that one in.
And that's how you gain a function. You keep moving whatever traits you want to batch until you eventually come up with a virus that just massacres all of the rats. And you know what the problem is?
Let's say they then take this virus and they go into the sewers of New York and they infect all the rats saying that'll take care of them. Several things happen. First, it will spread. It will kill many rats. Second, some rats will have inadvertent natural immunities to this pathogen and will survive.
And then the rats that die can't spread the disease. So, it's too lethal. It actually stops.
What happens then through evolution is only the weaker strains of the virus can actually make it outwards. So as Brett was pointing out, even if you genetically engineered gain of function to haunt the virus, it might hit really hard and then slowly start breaking down. That being said, if this were a manufactured virus or a virus that was given gain that was gained of function, I'll tell you what's really scary about it and where the attack factor actually comes in and that is a one to 8 week incubation period. Now, the only problem is that you can't spread the haunt virus if you're asymptomatic. So, you might get sick. That's what they say. You get flu-l like symptoms, they go away after a few days, and then eight weeks up to eight weeks later, YOU'RE LIKE, "WHOA, I'M REALLY SICK RIGHT NOW." So you actually have this period where you're carrying the virus, you're not contagious. What they would need to do is manufacture a huirus strain that can transmit from person to person in an asymptomatic phase. That's hard to do.
It's hard to do it and possible. Now, what's crazy about this is that this doctor who contracted it. They say he was on the boat training these people, but this is after the fact when they've already gotten it, which again is leading people to believe there could be a fear or I should say that people are fearing the emergence of human to human transmission. But fear not, my friends, a new hun virus vaccine is in the works.
Since 2023, Madna and Korea University have been developing a new mRNA vaccine for HAT virus. The work has been promising so far, but a finished product isn't likely coming anytime soon.
Uh-huh. And you know what's really fascinating is um I asked uh talking to Brett about it when he was on IRL and he mentioned there's not enough HANA virus to justify making a vaccine for it. If you get proper treatment, you've got an 80%, you know, you got like an 90% survival, which is most people are going to survive this with proper treatment. It sucks, but there's not enough cases per year per person per capita to justify massive research into a haunt virus vaccine. I asked Grock, in the US, there's about 30 per year. How would Madna make any money manufacturing a virus? You gonna go bring it to Africa or something? Where is it even mostly popping up? South America, you know, deer mice transmitting it. How are you going to make money off something if there's only about a hundred,000 on the high end per year? You charge a dollar a vaccine, you make $100,000 a year. What charge? Even if you charged $50 and you made $5 million per year, that does not justify the research into a haunt virus vaccine.
So why do it? Which has a lot of people asking the questions, why would they do it? And what is their what is their what is their profit motive? Oh, that's a profit motive. What if h virus actually does become transmissible asymptomatically and personto person? Well, then the United States is going to order what? 300 million plus doses. That's just dose number one. What if you need more than one? What if you need boosters? Heavens me, they might have to spend billions of dollars into these pharmaceuticals to massroduce a vaccine if it really does start happening.
And that's why people are leaning towards they believe there's a conspiracy of foot today. I don't know if you guys saw, but Fouchi was accused of a cover up of CO that Fouchy and his acolytes were disrupting the CIA uh uh uh analysts who were entertaining the thought that this could have been a an accidental release from a lab. And they were like, "No, we're going to change all that." And this guy's like, "Bro, this is crazy." Well, it's an election year.
I guess I would ask this.
If they really did manufacture a a virus, a haunt virus strain that could, you know, fill in the blanks, why not release it in 2024, could it be that we just came off of CO, no one would believe it? Maybe. Now, I'll tell you what's real funny. I see people on the right saying, "This time around, do not comply." Uh-huh. I see people on the left saying, "I this time around, I will not tolerate anyone who refuses to comply." Okay? I'mma tell y'all all this, my friends. I'm going tell you all this. You'll comply. You will. You'll beg to. I will. And and let me clarify. I know people say like, "No, not me. Not this time." Is that the SCOP?
Think about it. A 40% mortality in those that are untreated. A 5 to 15% mortality in those who get treatment. I want you to envision this up.
a virus is released. They tell you it'll be the apocalypse and everyone must comply and they lock you down and people say, "Hey, wait a minute. This virus isn't that bad.
They tricked us. I'm not going to fall for it again." Then the guys sitting behind the scenes say, "Okay, they've dropped their uh their security. They lowering their defenses. Release the haunt virus."
So, imagine this conspiracy, which I'm not saying it's true, but I'm saying you have to you have to understand why it's not so easy to just say, "I will not comply.
Because the next time around you get a haunt virus with a 5 to 15% mortality rate and that's if you can get treated and if hospitals get overloaded because it's transmissible human to human asymptomatically then everyone starts getting hit all at once. Hospitals are overloaded and you're not getting treated in which case you are going to see people dropping dead in the streets. Now imagine what happens to all the conservative anti-establishment right populist people who believe I'm not going to comply.
They won't trick me, but the intention was for you to lower your guard and walk straight into a haunt virus infection which kills you. I'm going to put it like this. Let me tell you a story. Many of you may have heard the story, but it's one of my favorite stories. It's one of the best in terms of bypassing defenses. I worked at Vice. I get an email. It says, "Check out this news story." And it a CNN link, which was improperly formatted, and I'm not stupid. And it was signed at the bottom by Shane Smith, managing editor of Vice.
And I laughed and I said, "Shane Smith is the CEO, founder, and owner." And so I walk over to the the chief medical officer or CTO and I say, "Hey, look at this email. I think someone's fishing."
And he goes, "Okay, I'll put we'll keep an eye out." Sure enough, many people got similar emails.
And uh people didn't fall for it.
I get another email, generic looking and weird. It's to my Vice email account.
generic looking and weird some like web service and it says please update your information by clicking this link and I laughed and I said this is so bad right the spear fishing that's when I got the fake Shane email at least tried to pray upon stupidity this one who's going to fall for that go to the CTO and I said look at this and he goes man we've been getting a bunch of these okay so he puts out an email and he says everybody heads up we're getting a wave of spear fishing attempts on the company. Do not click any links in your emails right now. Be very cautious. There's there's uh make sure that if you're getting a link to it, you know, if you have to log back into Google, you open up a new Google tab, you relog in. Here's how fishing works.
And I was like, there we go. And then and then the most beautiful of spear fishing attacks I have ever seen.
Masterfully done. Masterfully done. It's like a day or two later, I get an email.
It's a companywide email from Jesse, the CTO, that says, "This is unacceptable, guys. I emailed everybody just a couple of days ago telling you not to click links in your profile, and a bunch of you did, and now you're going to have to change your passwords. Click this link right now to reset your passwords." AND I WENT, "NO, MAN. TALK ABOUT A GRAND SLAM."
So I want run over to the CTO and I WAS LIKE, "LOOK." AND HE WENT, "WOW, AMAZING."
He never sent that email. THAT WAS THE SETUP. I WAS SO IMPRESSED. OH, I love it. Love it. That's like history books.
Amazing.
You create a spear fishing attack so that we go on high alert. You then mass blast out a weak fishing attack so that the CTO issues a warning. We are getting attacked. Then you spearfish as the CTO complaining that no one listened to your previous email. Ah, it was just so good.
And I think it was like a couple dozen people fell for it because everybody knew the CTO had been tell he had been walking around saying, "Yeah, guys, like we're getting these fishing attacks.
It's it's just so good." Okay, the first thing with the goofy Shane email makes people talk about it. Hey, did you see this goofy email I got from Shane? I ain't falling for that. Then you get these mass blanket garbage fishing attacks. The CTO then starts walking around. Everyone's talking about it over a week. So now everybody's primed. We are under attack. The CTO sends out a mass email saying, "Don't click links ever." The conversation bubbles up for a day or two. I mean, this was this has got to be like nation state level stuff.
It was so good.
Everybody in the office is talking about it. The CTO is telling everybody, they're checking with him saying like, "Yeah, guys, don't click links." That way, when the final attack happened, the fake email from the CTO saying, "I can't believe you idiots. Click these links and I told you not to do it. We've been talking about this all week. You've got to reset your passwords now. Click this link." And I was just like, I saw it right away and I was like, "Oh my god."
And I rush over to him and I was like, "Bro." And he was like, "Oh crap." Cuz we instantly REALIZED JUST HOW GOOD IT WAS AND THEY got a couple dozen people to click it. Man, I love it. I love it.
I mean, it sucked. It was just so amazing. And then I think like they actually hacked the website and you know that happened. So anyway, to the point.
If you were going to actually sigh out people into running out full speed into a burning building, you want someone to run and jump off a cliff, right? It's like, how do I convince that person to run and jump off a cliff? Well, if I tell them, "Quick, THERE'S A DRAGON COMING. JUMP OFF THE CLIFF." They're going to go, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on a minute now. Hold on. Some people might do it. Some people might do it." And here's what happens.
You say, "A dragon is coming. It's going to eat you. Quick, run and jump off the cliff." And then half the people do, but don't worry, there's a mattress right there. They jump off, three-foot fall, they bounce on a mattress. Half the people stand up there saying like they see the dragon, but they're like, I don't know if I believe you. I'm going to I'm going to go to the cliff and take a look down. They run over the cliff and they're like looking down and they're like, "This is a great inconvenience to me. It's ruining my day. I take time out of my day. I was at work. Now I'm running from a dragon." The dragon turns out to be weak. Half the people stand around saying, "I'm not running from that thing." Half the people jump down and then a mix of people, you know, little bits on the fringes, uh, which I should say a third and a third and a third, right? And so, a lot of people bounce on the mattress, look up and see that dragon was nothing.
And they get mad and they go, I just ran full speed and jumped off a cliff for nothing. Well, I'm not falling for it next time.
Then you go, "Okay, release the real dragon." Then the real dragon comes stomping out.
And then you go, "Quick, run for the cliff. The dragon's coming." And they go, "I'm not falling for that again."
Get eaten up. See my point? My point is this.
You don't know. I don't know. All I can say is if I see people 40% dropping dead, I I ain't going outside, dude. I ain't going to a city. I'm not going to go buy sushi. It's not about wanting to comply. It's about during co we understood it made no sense. And this is where I agree with people when it's like if you're sitting down you can't get co but you're standing up you do. That was insane. What I'm saying is with something like h virus if it really does explode and become human you you'll be looking out your window and you'll see corpses on the street and they're going to be like we don't have enough ambulances to come and pick up the bodies. 15% mortality if we're just trying to be nice for those getting treatment. Then the hospitals fill up and then people start collapsing and then you look out your window in New you're in New York and there's like two or three bodies just littered down the road. You're going to be like I ain't going outside.
So my point is you don't know. And we made this point during CO if there was an airborne Ebola going around highly transmissible we would be complying with everything. I wouldn't be wearing masks.
I'd be wearing a full-on hazmat suit.
Airborne Ebola, liquefaction of your internal organs, vomiting up goo and blood. Yeah.
Nah. H virus. Nah. So, I don't know. I don't know for sure. I I genuinely believe that it's a lot of hubbhub that the media is boosting this because it's it's going to drive stocks. It's going to make people money. Here's the conspiracy for you. Madna started working on a hont virus vaccine which they didn't need because there's not enough haunt virus cases worldwide to justify it. Then they're like how do we actually get any value from this? Let's let's plant a bunch of stories that will freak people out about the virus and then we'll our stock will go up because we're making a vaccine for it. Then if people are going to go to certain parts of the world maybe they'll buy it but the stock value will go up. Maybe there's a lot of ways you can conspiracize or whatever. Conspiraize, theorize, theory, whatever you want to call it. Yeah. So, I don't know. And I'm not going to tell you guys to listen.
You You have to make the decision for yourself. I'm just saying when I say you and I, I'm being a little bit um antagonistic intentionally. The point is there going to be a lot of people who are going to say, "Listen, I know COVID was one thing, but I just watched someone collapse at a bus stop. I'm going home. I'm staying I'm staying away from this. I'm getting out of the cities.
We'll see. I don't think it's going to happen. We get stuff like, you know, whatever. But I can always just say hope for the best. Prepare for the worst.
Stick around. We got more coming up for you throughout the day. Follow me on X and Instagram at Timcast. And we'll see you all in the next segment.
