240 Tons and 1.5km this is getting Expensive on THE110Added:
Morning. How you all doing? Are you well? Oh, we got the blue skies and the sunshine back and wow, Wednesday morning now. And what a day yesterday was. If you've not seen the vlog, we got to go down to CF Moto yesterday, meet with the guys and girls down there and we had a look at some of their product range and and the new, not even released in the UK Z10. And oh my days, what a machine that is. That was just days ace. That is just days ace. could not wait to have a go of that. And I'm not sure if we're going to get them for the 110, but put them in the comments if you want to see some damn ripping around the 110 cuz they had the Z10 and they had the U10 and they were just so good. What a day. So, a massive thank you to um Harry and the team at CF Moto UK and Josh King Billy himself for uh getting us down there and let us partake in that day. Thank you. Absolute legends all of you and everyone else who went out on that day. Absolute banger of a day. Never mind about what we doing yesterday cuz that's in the past now.
What are we doing today? And yeah, like I say, it's Wednesday. So, I think we're going to head back up to the top 60 and we are doing some more work on the drainage field cuz obviously I wasn't there yesterday, so I'm not quite sure what's going on. I think Farmer Joe is about for a bit. So, I'm going to head up there in a minute. Just going to have my lovely cup of tea and um and then we're going to whiz up there and see what what is occurring.
All right, best get up to the top 60 and see what's going on. Ain't no V V Z10, but it is Marvin Tara, isn't it? Ah, she's a holler. But yeah, I can't like what it'd be like to actually drive one of them C10s all the time and just get used to it.
You never know what's in the future though, do you?
>> I hope I hope it's up to you.
I'm back on the top 60 and Joe has been busy. Busy, aren't you?
>> Yeah.
>> Yes. We got pipes going in everywhere.
So, all down this side's sewn up then, did you say?
>> Yeah.
>> Side bits. Wow.
>> Oh, and then just drag it over. Nice.
Yeah.
>> Easy on the road.
>> Yeah. It's a pain in the ass trying to do it on all the rough ground, isn't it?
It's like a tug of war with 100 mil land drain. And now we're going to uh do Joe kind of things and put it into the drenches and stuff like that, isn't it?
But oh, what a beautiful day.
Must admit I'm feeling a little tired from yesterday's adventure and then the when I was doing the edit and getting that out and editing thumbnails. So 2:00 this morning when I finished that one after like a full day.
Mad. Oh, we might have some more stone coming to side.
Beep beep beep beep.
>> Yeah. Now we're going to We were stock piling it there, but we're going to start like putting it around the site a bit close to where we're working so it saves a bit of messing about getting everything dropped.
>> Joey's having the first one over there.
>> Sorry.
>> Yeah. Yeah. She's just going to go on the road with this one. [ __ ] your old [ __ ] >> Yeah, the green van.
We got a green wagon today. Oh, I like the green.
Come on. 20 mil for in the trenches.
Heat.
Heat.
Oh, look at that. Happy days.
Happy days. Oh, it's getting busy this morning. We got the green wagon over there and we got another lad coming in now. So, hopefully we're going to get into back in and put one on the pile over there. Oh, we got another wig on.
More stone. More stone. More stone. More stone. So, hopefully we can just get that to go just in the gap between the other two piles of limestone. Oh, we got a lovely pivot of plant wagon on there as well. It's looking rather nice, Rob.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
None for a couple of days then two at one say Joe it's always the way >> is it not a breakfast kind of Wednesday then Joe >> it's got things to do now you sold me out >> didn't have a yogurt or anything I was thinking >> yeah I get something on the way back or we can go when we'll go when I get back >> yeah is that your is that your back or back >> my back >> yes it won't be 4:00 then >> no >> don't go Joe he's leaving me on my own Please come back ro left to my own devices.
So the idea is now that I'm going to just clear out that trench there, try and get this pipe on into the trench on my own, which is going to be hilarious.
Uh and then we can get a bit of stone in there, level it up, swap the buckets around, yada yada yada yada yada. All right, I think first of all I'm going to try and straight get this sort of running roughly along there and then we can flip it over once. Have um I think first of all we're just going to try and get the pipe close to this edge cuz it's got to come all over these rocks. It's a right pain in the noodle. But Joe's out doing his bit there. Don't know where to see it is. So I shall have a little go pulling this over into the right place.
Well, that was a fun little adventure, wasn't it? I'm pleased to say that we just pulled that pipe in in a matter of minutes. There's no issues at all. No, absolutely not. Just like literally uncoiled itself. Practically fell into the trench. No, he didn't. And uh yeah, it was just no struggling at all. It was awful.
But anyway, it's here now. So, I'm very happy with that. So, we roughly got it along the trench so we can just start flipping in the trench. But first of all, like I said, just got to clear all these snots out of that trench that I've dropped in. So, I'm going to go and get a banjo. We'll clear them out. Might just move the five toner as well because we're going to have a pile of stone put in front of the digger there. That'd be good. And then the rest of the stone can go up there. I just shuffle a few things about. All right, I think we're just going to move the fab before the stone gets here. So, oh, this is a comfy seat in this machine. Really is. So, let's get the get it powered up. Just going to stick it on that bit of grass over there out the way. draw one stone once a load of stone. So it's Bosch Bosch Bosch. Bit quicker getting in the trenches, eh?
Right, then let's get the old five tunner moved out the way, eh?
Oh, it's a big big, isn't it?
Oh, I wonder how much time I'd save in a day if I had one of them U10 for ripping around rather than walking everywhere.
You imagine just say Tom might be very very efficient on site if we have them utens can it think for access as well. Just going to see if Joe's keys in his van.
We'll check there's no rebar or anything over there. I'm just going to bob Joe's van in front of the trailer here.
So, as long as this is all right. Yeah, pretty sound. Decent ground there. Joe's van there. Getting mine out the way. And then we've still got access coming down the road for the vehicles. So, I think Tom will be down in a bit. And then there's Mr. Be dude. We have the transit wolves now. Just a little Varus.
And then we've got all that bay there clear, aren't we? So, you still drive around the stone and everything when people are getting in and out. So, where's it all going, Andy?
>> Uh, yeah. Jew stuff's going here.
Limestone's going there. And there's some being dumped up there.
>> That is 100% wrong. Well done. But we're leaving it with you cuz we're hungry.
>> Right.
>> And uh some butteries. Bit of butter.
>> Bit of cheese and cheese and tomato but tomato.
>> You want to put a bit of mayonnaise on it. Yeah.
>> Yeah. Mayo, >> don't ketchup. You don't want it soggy.
Not definitely not >> brown sauce.
>> No.
>> Sauce.
>> No. Definitely not.
>> All of the above then. So it's the limestone over there.
>> That's it. Yes.
>> If you can get it over there.
>> If you can get it over there, that would be me.
>> Just if you could put a little bit of pipe in the trenches before they tip it, I'd be really appreciative. About about 900 m. Just whizz it around.
>> Yeah. I don't mind doing that.
>> Perfect. Something to do on it.
>> Yeah, that's it. Take an hour.
>> Get in the trench with me shovel bottom out.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> And then drop it pipe in.
>> And if you run out, if you know, if you get all that done, if you can just power it for us, >> just get back home and get my tractor.
talking to.
>> I didn't hear that.
>> You've not? No. Well, there's no alcohol in it. Probably won't interest you, will it?
>> Think of it as cherry.
>> You mean there's no booze in it. He says boo.
>> He rubbed it over his shoulder.
>> Tastes a bit like cherry bee.
>> Cherry bee? What is cherry bee?
>> Don't tell me you don't know what cherry be.
>> What is cherry be?
>> You know what cherry be is, don't you?
>> No, >> you do.
>> It's >> I feel I'm about to be educated, though.
Cherry bee. You buy it in little bottles like that.
>> Cherry bee. It's well moorish. And it's about 8%.
>> Was it >> volume? Yeah. And it's uh >> Cherry Bee. You don't remember it either.
>> Have you never heard of No >> Cherry Bees? No.
>> You've been winding me up.
>> No.
>> You're definitely winding me up.
>> I don't know.
>> Everybody's >> might look like I've had a long paper around, but >> there's a bit of an age gap, you know, mate.
>> I tell you what, leave in your comments if you heard about Cherry B.
>> Cherry B. Can you still buy it?
>> I think you sell it in packs of four the supermarket.
>> Oh, you're getting so much sent to your house now.
>> Send it to Andy. Then we can have a little drink. Cherry B.
>> Well, this is what we found on the internet. But Andy's saying that's not right.
>> No.
>> So, you saying this drink was pre- internet?
>> Pre- internet.
>> Cherry bait.
>> 60s and 70s. Yeah.
>> What is it like that um snowball that we used to like the little snowball bottles?
>> They were them type of drinks.
>> And he used to just drink wine. He didn't >> apparently wine. He wine connoisseur when he was like started off in 75. He just worked out >> be swapped to the old chat nerf to pap now. No >> like nice Jake wine >> things I can spell that I don't know.
Um, what was it called? Blue na.
>> Blue non.
Heat.
Heat.
Let's take a closer Heat. Heat. N.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Oh, hey.
Call hey.
So, just had the drone up there getting some little bits and bobs, but it is super windy today. So, unfortunately, the drone's a bit twitchy. I can hear the wind now.
So, we've got a wobbly drone today while it's windy.
All of me. I'd like to get a slightly bigger drone as well so we could uh use it when it's windy and we'll be effective. But for now, we're sticking with wobbly drone. So, you can see it's a bit of a night bit of a awkward job, but you got to try and get down the trench. And you can just see how we're raking it all out, topping up with STO where it needs just so we take the undulation out the bottom of the trench.
And then there's bits where we've dug the where they've got these smaller ones coming to the bigger lines. Just got to clean these out as well. Just so we're trying to get the pipe in sort of as flat as possible really. But it's a bit of a rocky one cuz we've got a narrowish trench. Not quite room. You can't really turn your feet around in it. But it's getting there. Got that one lovely cleared out. Just going to carry on down there a bit now. You see better with the light. There you go.
Okay, so this is good. This section is clear now and leveled out. Joe started up to there. So, we're just going to pull this next section of uh land drain into the trench and he can just keep on working his way down with the storm. So, I'm going to grab that now and we'll get that in. There we go. Another section.
Another like 20 m or so in there. Now Jerry's following up behind. So I'm just going to carry on clearing the next bit out and uh I say we got about 100 meters on this roll. So hopefully by the time it gets into this one we got another 100 in.
That'll be very nice, wouldn't it? Then pipe in the sunshine in the 110 field.
Right, we just had to amend my boot and trouser combo. So I usually have them tucked in because I don't want to get the bottoms of my trousers all racked about. But when you're walking in the trench, literally my wellie boots are getting full like every 5 minutes cuz all the little debris is on the wall just straight down there. So, we're going to go with the trousers tucked over the wellies for now.
See how that helps. It won't help with my pockets getting filled with muck all the time, but we'll try and figure out the boot situation. We got about halfway down now. I'd say a real big blockage there that we need to dig out.
It's just going to come out like a dream.
>> Is it nearly spare time yet?
Oh, look at this. Look at this bit.
Yeah, it's just like super solid clay as well.
So, I think that trench is just pushed in a little bit when that one was being dug. But just all going to have to be cleared out by hand cuz you get the machine back in here to dig that. It's just going to make a mighty big mess. Day 72. We're still digging pipe in the tent. The top 60. We've been here for many, many days now, and we don't seem to be getting any closer to the end.
I was just digging and piping and storing and digging and piping and storing.
Well, luckily the sun's out, so it's not all bad, is it? Oh, well, we've cleared a few more bits out there. Got to another junction where it seems to have gone in a little bit. So, I'm just going to have to now do the same as we did over there.
>> So, we're not going to say what, but another interesting way to spend your money.
Well, it turns out it's very expensive to just throw money into the ground. But now we found another thing to throw money into as well. I can't wait.
>> No, but it will look good.
>> Joe's calendar will pay for a load of them.
>> We need to do the only Joe.
>> The only Joe shoot. Yes. Well, we got another 20 odd meters cleared out through there bit there now. So, there's a couple of little bits where it collapsed and on this junction here is a bit tricky again. So, they're cleared out now. So, it's going to climb up.
We're going to flip this next bit of pipe down. And I think we can go all the way down to that next branch there before we get this any more digging to do. But we might be getting close to 100 m run there in. But on a sad note, Joe just worked out that we're probably on about 350 m in and we think we've got about 1500 m to go.
But you got to take the little winds.
The little winds get you through. Heat.
Heat.
And we have another one with piping. Go on. We're working our way through. So all down there there. The main one's done now. So this is a good one in. Just going to have a walk down there now.
See if we got another one. See how well see how many more we've got to do on this side of the field. So we've got this one and I think Joe said some had been filled up from the bottom. So we got that one.
Uh have we sewn in this one?
No, not yet. Oh my days. But look at that though. So everything from here, all them veins on that side coming off them spurs that are coming off this main drain here.
So we got this main drain running down there, that's 100 m. Sorry about the wind. It's just mega windy. Can't put like the mics on while our phone's running out of the pocket today. Not happening. We had that main drain running right up there. That's 100 meters from here to there. And we do need to at some point have a chat because when we were at the CF Moto event yesterday talking to my mate Yoshi or King Billy himself of Mudbillers now they run an event I think it's about July time and there's like side by side racing motocross it's pit bike racing and they also have an event called the Vampire which is where you do up a people carrier and you race it around the motocross track side by side track cuz it's just what you do isn't it? Now, I was meant to do this last year, but obviously what happened and um air ambulances and all that stuff that got put on the back burner. But this year, I was talking to Josh yesterday and there's a seat if Tay wants it. So, let me know in the comments how we going to build a vampire car. So, it's going to be a people carrier, cage up, bucket seat, and then we go down mudbillies for the weekend and take part in all the racing just to hang out with there and just wa the good stuff.
So, let me know in the comments what you think of that idea, cuz I'm kind of into it.
Right, we are another. So, this is a 100 mil 100 m roll that is going to start our next main one that's going to run down there. So, got that rolled over.
Just going to fetch a 75 over now as well. Then we've got the 175 ready for the next lot. And now we have some 75 as well. Lovely, lovely. 75. Come and get your 75. Landing. We have plenty. We got 75. We got 100. Wow.
Look at all that. So hopefully it's fairly soon we should get up to this one. Then we just got to do the spurs on that one. Spurs either side going into that one. And then going in that one there. And then the same over there. And then uh yeah, when we get over to there, then it's going to be a case of powerhousing or however they pronounce power. Power harrowing harrowing. It's a harrow power harrow.
Hey, I've been in the sun all day and I'm tired. Give me a minute. So yeah, we got to do the power how thing and uh and then Yeah. And then this other thing with the tractor type thing which yeah there's a lot to do still and I'm gooseed. It was a long day yesterday and yeah it's it's really knocked out well not knocked out me at all. It's just been a long day long day yesterday. Not I think I had like 4 hours kip. So I am a bit on the uh battery getting flat side of things. So, unfortunately, the pipe got buried before it was extended to go all the way down there cuz we ran 100 m out and it's somewhere around here.
And then we got stone in the trench before it was actually extended, which wasn't the best move ever. So, now we just need to take this little bit of stone out of here. We found it there.
So, those marked out the 120 to about here. So I think might only be this bit here where I don't think there's a lot of stone going in. Joe was stoning up.
He thought I'd finished it.
Obviously didn't account for my complete ADHD where I just literally go off and do other things on a tangent. The pipe has been located. So this is where we got to dig out now and we got to extend that down there.
The noises. The noises.
>> So this is the missing pipe. Look at that. We found it. We found it. We found the Found the pipe. Don't usually swear, but >> in a minute.
>> The things you guys do for content, man.
>> Let me just cut through this pipe real, >> dude. Pass me your big black 4-in pipe down this hole.
>> Bit bigger than 4 in.
>> I'm just videoing the pipe joined up before you break.
>> Yeah, we have a cuper on the end of the pipe. Woo!
>> We are impressed.
Can we just try them in the fridge?
>> Oh, what are we going to do?
>> Going to order some cold necks.
>> Oh, they might be cold. They're not in the fridge.
>> They're not in the fridge.
>> Oh, >> wait. Are we SURE THERE'S >> WE ARE NOW We can see it.
Look at that.
>> The longest length completed.
>> So, there we go. We're all caught up with Wednesday. You see what I mean? It wasn't I didn't really want to try straing the video out and making it, you know, making So anyway, you know what I was trying to do. But we're back here now. But now we're on Thursday. So, as you can see, it's still a beautiful sunny day. Nothing's changed on that front. The birds are singing. Amazing.
And the other day saw a deer coming through here as well. It's amazing. But we're going to knit back up to the top 60 now cuz guess what? We've got more drains to put in. So, first task this morning is we're just going to uncoil this. We've stretched out up there and then we're running it along that other main trench. I think we've got one, two, this is like the third main one where we're putting the 100 mil in. Yeah, just uh took about 50 m over there now. Going to tie the rest of that up and then we can sort of work our way up there with it. And here we have the pipe laid out.
So all uncoiled. I'm sure there's a better way to do it while we're doing.
But it seems to be going in. All right.
So this now we can drag that up there into where it needs to go. Right. So the plan is we're going to try and pull this one in all the way down to there. And then we've got four spurs on that side and I think three on that side and then another little linking one over there.
So if we can, we want to try and get all this pulled in today. Then we've just got the middle section there. We do need to get some more pipe. Tom and Joe were going to go to Tom and Joe were going to go to Chelford today to pick some more pipe up, but I think we're just going to prioritize trying to get this in the ground because it needs to be done.
>> Yay.
>> Yay. Now you're in the cafe.
>> I'm suing you.
>> I'm I'm I'm suing you.
>> I got told to get to get uh >> You wanted to buy shiny bits, didn't you?
>> I thought we were getting shiny new toys. It's going to land and all sorts.
Then the extra piping that we do need.
Oh no. I got picked up. We said we're not going to buy new things. We're doing hard work instead.
>> Look at the smile on his face.
>> He knew exactly what to full on Dr. Evil moment you got one girl coming.
>> Yeah, >> it's definitely another good. What do you reckon, Tom?
>> Oh, it's lovely, but it's just ridiculous. I suppose save this for the rest of next week.
>> Oh, you'll have it all in you before you go. Don't worry.
>> Doubt. I should have brought I'll show you up.
>> Maybe sausages.
>> Instead of buying brushes, you bought breakfast though. So, >> yeah. Much cheaper than a battery.
>> I'm glad I'm about to put another five grand into the ground. But I did get another bill this morning. Two grand for more stones. So, >> you cannot stop them. I'm off into the bushes.
>> Joe sends his back for one minute and everybody scarfers.
>> Bars. Where we at with the bars?
>> Bobby is sending us a sample once that sample gets here.
>> Yeah. Sample wood. Dad's going to >> pick up a shovel or something. Jesus.
Run. run.
>> So, get a wood sample.
>> Yeah, a little sample of wood. And then, uh, once we've had a look at that, then we're going to nip down there, sit down, show us around some buildings that we've done.
>> Yeah.
>> And then, uh, yeah, you get to >> excited.
Dead on.
>> All right. So, we've got this first 100 meter in. We're starting here. We've run it all the way out down there. all the way down to where Thomas senior is there. That's the first 100. That's gone a really good way in that trench to be fair. So I think we're just going to go as Tom was kidnapped by Joe. He doesn't have his boots, his work pants on. So might just run him over there, get them, and then you can get in out the trenches because his Justin is training us at the minute.
>> Yeah, it's way better with a few extra pair of hands.
>> Yeah. Rolling them out be everywhere.
>> Yeah. Love it.
>> Boots.
>> Boots and pants. I can get >> Well, we have retrieved the key for the Polaris by using the Hilux. Oh, get her in the sunshine.
Do you like this truck?
So, right back here now. So, we're going to head back over to there now. Start putting that pipe in that we just rolled out. Joe's busy stoning up over there.
Not a problem, but usually go most places.
A look at that with ease.
really make it this time without it falling off.
Right. So those two fat those two there we've got that's 200 m rolled out ready to go. We've got 100 meters over there.
100 mil. So 100 mil, 100 mil, 100 mil, 300 of the 100 mls, I'd say 300. And then we've got this roll of 75, which has unfortunately got into a bit of a spaghetti situation.
So we're just going to unspa this. Have that rolled out as well. Joe is as he does. There he is. There's our Joe bottoming out that trench there. We're going to fetch that one in. Then we've got access through here cuz that is now done. Feel like I'm like tug of war training for this. Oh, but we got so the 300's it looks like we probably got about 75 m to 80 m 75 mil. So that is not too bad. I think that'll get a lot done what we need to do today. Uh but we are going to need we're going to need some more pop and stone. Just don't tell Tom yet. Right, my next challenge. We have timelapse the camera set. Look at that blue sky behind that. Oh my days.
So yeah, I'm just going to trench out bottom this one out now. Then this is ready for a 75 to go in. We'll bottom that out. Pull the 75 in and that's ready to stone. I'm going to do the same on that and then we'll work our way down down down is what it's just dust in all my pockets. Sorry if like this picture quality is awful. So a lot of it comes out pretty easy, but then you get into like these nice big clumps there that there's just nothing you can do really just grab them out and lift them out.
But this one isn't too bad to be honest.
>> We can live with this one. We can. We can. This won't take too bad. So, >> that one is now bottomed out. We got the pipe in there. That's run to there. It's bottomed out on that bit there up that junction there where we've got a few spurs coming off. But there's a big old chunk that's dropped down there. That is a digger job. I am clearing that one by hand. So, we're just going to move down now and start to make our way along with that one over there. And we got people doing things over there.
Oh, that looks like Mr. Bman. And then we must have a Tomcini down in the hole somewhere. Well, we have just been on an off-road adventure in Joe's tractor, basically delivering stone via green lanes, perilously on little tracks cut into the hillside.
It's a lovely little route though, isn't it, Joe?
>> Yeah. Oh, would you look at that. Well, I think that's about it for in this field tonight. It's getting to 5:00 now and uh it's been a day in the sunshine and we've got got a reasonable amount done. Not quite done as much as we hope for, but it's still we're still getting closer and closer and Joe's going to be like Joe's got his other commitments and stuff like that now. So, it is going to be it is what it is, isn't it? You know, we're just pushing our way through but the weather it's like it doesn't feel like work. It just feels like you're on holiday just getting stuff done in the sunshine. It's absolutely dreamy. Really is.
But for now, I think I'm going to head back down. I'm going to I think for now it's time for me to think about getting some tea. Think about getting an edit done and we'll get this up on the Friday morning. And yeah, and we'll just see where we go from there. Um, but as always, thank you very much for watching. You're all amazing. I love you to bits. Thank you for the likes, the subscribes, the comments. Just absolutely dreamy. Thank you very much.
But for now, Sudalu, lots of love.
