This video analysis explores how psychological manipulation and abuse cycles can trap individuals across generations, as demonstrated through Lestat's traumatic childhood experiences with his mother Gabrielle, who forced him to witness traumatic events while rationalizing her actions as protection. The content illustrates how victims of abuse often internalize harmful patterns, eventually becoming the very things they once hated, as seen when Lestat later forces Claudia to witness similar traumatic scenes. The analysis also examines how manipulative individuals like Armand exploit victims' desires for reconciliation to maintain control, forcing Louis to write an apology under duress. This demonstrates that abuse cycles are complex psychological phenomena where victims may become perpetrators, and genuine emotional closure requires acknowledgment of wrongdoing rather than manipulation.

Armand is the EPITOME of taking it TOO FAR ! Lestats breakthrough | The Vampire Lestat Ep 7 Recap
Added:In the end, [laughter] I think I was pretty [ __ ] drunk.
If I failed, if I failed, then that means I actually attempted something.
Arun, you need a love that'll cradle you.
You should have that.
And I was never that for you.
>> And I'm sorry.
>> You tell dude whoever the [ __ ] brought you back into my life that I am not [ __ ] deliberate. You go on stage and you get torn apart.
You do it because I am not going on stage and I am not [ __ ] saved. You [ __ ] monster.
>> I need the new season today. I need them to be already on set. I need the acrylics on, the contacts in, fangs, fake blood, everything back in right now because that ending, they're setting us up for some craziness. the way that they spun us around in this last episode and the doom that awaits.
Let's just get into it.
Hi guys, welcome back to Nikki Faces Reality. We are here to discuss the vampireless thought, the final episode of this season. Why did they only give us seven episodes this season? I don't know. It is cruel. I hope that they up that number next season because if Accasha is going to be destroying the world, if Louis is going to lose a leg, Arman is going to lose an eye, Lasat's going to disappear, I need to know the why, the how, the where, the everything.
We have so much to cover about episode 7. So, let's get into it. But while you're here, if you're new and you're not usually here, hi, I'm Nikki. I usually post about reality TV, but I love drama. I I love TV. I love film and I consume a lot of it and I never covered it on this channel and I thought that this was the best show to start it with because hello, I'm obsessed and I want to keep doing it. I will definitely cover when the new season comes on of this. I definitely want to cover other shows, some movies. If that is your thing, make sure that you do subscribe to my channel. But let's get into this.
Okay, I was trying to figure out how to break it up. So I'm gonna start with List, okay? Because it is after all the vampire list dot. So episode seven is called the failures and we have seen Lat from the beginning of the season really grapple with his trauma, the ways that he has tried to push it down, the way that they resurface and manifest in his life, the triggers, physical triggers like his mother, things like that. We have seen it and it all leads up to this moment. So we get this POV from Lestad looking at Louis and they're both telling each other could be nice. This future that they're plotting together and all of a sudden he sees that future slowly slip because he's looking at the sky and then his head is tilted and he's like, "Wait, this is my blood. Wait, these are my boots. And then all of a sudden it goes dark. And when he wakes up again, wakes up, he's in this dreamscape of the forest. And this dad has been talking about escaping to a forest this whole time, but specifically, we heard him say it again in the last episode with Louis. So, he wakes up in the forest. He's still a vampire because he could see his, you know, acrylics, but it's sunlight and he's able to walk without, you know, burning. And he at first is like, I don't know what's going on, but I'm hungry. And then all of a sudden, he has a bunch of waiters leading the way. And they're leading him to this big old table. And in this big old table is the child version of himself and the teenager version, I guess, too. And his father. And again, his father is taunting him for his stuttering. And Lat is like, "F you."
And he recites the passage.
And they tell him to sit down. When he sits down, boom, it drops in to a living room. And at this big ass table, his childhood table, the table where he would get taunted, bered by his brothers. at this table. It is all of his fledglings or people adjacent to fledglings, right? Louie in this beautiful plumsuit, Nikki of course, and Tanette who's the notekeeper of this meeting, his horrid mother Gabrielle, and at the head of the table, who am I? Oh, baby Lata is also there. And at the head of the table, it's Magnus's ugly ass. and madness is spearheading this thing. And basically this dinner is to [ __ ] on the thought like wow you really screwed up your life and we are a representation of all of the different failures at different points of your life. Like you could have been so powerful. You had so many options to do amazing things and you failed the whole way. And Magnus literally makes them introduce themselves, right? Oh, the drama girl is there. But the drama girl, I'm not even sure. Is she Lazat's fledgling or is she his mother's? No, I think Alex is Sophia's sledgling. Point is, all of these people are here. Claudia is obviously absent, and Magnus said that she basically like declined the invitation, that she hates his ass, and that she said everything she had to say at the se at the seance. And again, this is from a start brain. I'm wondering if this is like a vampire like river sticks area or if this is just like his imagination, but he's definitely in a dreamscape and all of these people are important to be there. Magnus is going on and on and Lata is looking at him like, "Listen, you're my maker, but you're you don't know me. So, the fact that you're here spearheading a dinner about my failures when you only knew me for a week and you took advantage of me and Magnus is like, "Oh, let's consent."
And Lestat's like, "Ell spearheading this. I want my other maker to spearhead it." And I'm like, "Lesta, have we learned nothing? You really want Sophia at the head of the table?" And that she does. She takes her happy ass there. all of a sudden we see her change into like this corset because again she is his mother even though she doesn't want to acknowledge that.
Something I want to highlight though is that Lasat's mind is here but his head is walking around in a freaking bowling bag with Daniel Mallaloy. His body is at the butcher shop along with Louis which we will get to. But purposely Daniel and Arand concocted this plan that they needed to keep the head as far away from the body because they're trying to stop any possibility of there being a big concert because they're against the great conversion. And I mentioned this because there's a moment where Daniel like opens the bag and talks to Lestat kind of like berates him and you could see that Leat it interrupts this dreamscape because Daniel is like literally yelling at his head. And I just thought that that was so interesting because Daniel has a lot of resentment for this thought. He's like, "Oh, you think you're cooler than me.
You think you're smarter than me. You're this. You're that." And it's almost like Daniel let out every single insecurity that he has about his life and just like vomited all over Latad. And I'm like, did you always feel this way? Is this Arand in your brain? Like what is up with you? It's very strange. And then I also don't know like what their allegiances are to Armand because Alex pulls up and you would think that Alex is team Armand but he pulls up and he's like weird with Daniel. He has he doesn't say a word.
He's very creepily standing by the list bag and I'm just like I don't have a good feeling about this. They drop out of the scene with Mallaloy back to the Stats um Dreamscape and he has all of these people basically mocking his failure of a music career. They're reading the reviews that are out about the album taunting him. And then the nail in the coffin is bringing out the opera singer that you guys remember the opera singer in Interview with the Vampire that was singing so badly and every note that he missed, Lestat would put his blood on the note like you messed that up and then he was so angry and he killed him at the end.
That same opera singer comes out, plays the song that's about Gabrielle and starts breaking down all of the moments that list messed up. He was like, "Oh, you're flat. Oh, too much VBR and just like giving Lat a little dose of his own medicine." And in that moment, there's something about it like everyone mocking him, everyone making him feel small, and Gabrielle just standing by watching like nothing. And in that instant, we see that LT gets like a montage of all of the ways that this lady has [ __ ] him over. And it's almost like whatever love goggles he had shattered. And I'm like, finally, it took you long enough, Lar. And there's a moment that we see this long table and everyone disappears. It's just them. And he's looking at her like with so much disgust. He's like, "Why did you take me there?" And remember, he keeps asking her, "Why did you take me to see the witches get burned?" And then we see the scene and they look like regular like they don't even have like the witchy aesthetic. They look like village women.
I think one of them what like put a different herb in a tea and like they were like a witch. And then there's these set of twins of which used to play with Las.
were 9 years old. And he's like, "Oh my god." And she and he was like, "Why did you take me to see this?" And she's like, "Well, I wanted you I wanted you to see with your own eyes what kind of people they are. I wanted to make sure that you left this place." And that's Gabrielle's own thing, right? Like she felt like a prisoner all her life. She felt like she had no autonomy.
And and I get the ways that that would come up for you as a woman, but to steal a child's innocence by making him see his classmate get burned alive, to smell the flesh, to hear the screams.
He tried to turn away. She pushed him to see it, like held him to see it. She never protected him. Not physically, not emotionally, not psych, not psychologically. Like in no way was she ever a good mom to him. I don't know how young it started, but there there's something very dark about her viewing this person and trying to start a romantic relationship when he's your blood. Like, there's so much about Gabrielle that's so [ __ ] up. And I know that when you are in an abuse cycle, it's hard to see it. And and of course, this is a vampire. This is not real life. But it really makes you think like how deep her claws were into him that he's just now as a vampire hundreds of years later. He's just now snapping out of her spell. She definitely groomed him. And the way that she can rationalize with herself that she was protecting him that oh lucky you that I did that cuz otherwise you would have stayed until you were 30. [ __ ] what? So deeply [ __ ] up. And what's crazy about abuse cycles is that you don't realize how sometimes you can become the things that you hate, the things that have hurt you.
Because the shot of her forcing list to view these women in flames, then they put the scene where Lasat did the same thing to Claudia. He made her watch the bodies burning in their little um thing that they had in the house. Remember seeing that shot back to back? I was like, I feel sick. And I'm sure Lat felt sick in that moment, too, because he's like, I don't want to be this.
And I hate that I was. You know, that was a failure. But anyway, we jump out of this dreamscape back to Daniel. I'm listing these moments in the same section because List's head is in this bowling bag next to Daniel. Daniel is supposed to protect it. I honestly feel like he's ready to bowl with it. But all of a sudden, he's there with Alex. Re what's his name? Reagan, the guy from the Talamasa. He pulls up and he's like, "Yeah, you know, I need insurance regarding the concert, so I'm here to take that bag. I'm here to take the head off of your hands." And Daniel is like, "Uh, hello. Good morning, good afternoon." Like, is that really like how you're coming here? And then Reagan comes with backup.
He comes with a bunch of people. He's basically like, "I'm going to get that back whether you like it or not." Reagan says that he actually intends he wants the concert to go through. So, he's here to put Lat. Daniel is so confused because he's like, "I thought that you were against the great conversion." Like you just went on about how there's so many vampires, they're eating so much, meaning that there's more deaths than births. What? I I always feel like the Telamasa has an agenda. I don't really know. But also, Alex, who is tongueless, so he can't speak. I'm guessing Alex was in cahoot to the Talamasa.
So the way that he came over to look at the bath, he was trying to make sure that Daniel didn't bowl with a star head. So now I'm confused because I'm like, are you allies with Arand or not?
Or were you like two- timing him? Like what is going on? But anyway y'all, we go back to list. These people are going down the list of all of his greatest hits of failures. The way that he got turned and then the way that he turned Nikki who was a mad man. Then he turned his mother and then after she abandoned him the way that he buried himself, then he got pulled out only to then wake Accasha or shake her up I guess and then turning Louis and then like the killings of Lou Louie and Claudia and just on and on and Lat is laughing and he's laughing because anything these people could ever say about him, all the bad things, he's thought them about himself. He has said far meaner things to himself. So, he's laughing and it's like almost for the first time he can confront the failures like they're right here, right? All the things that like he maybe has had doubts about. He was like, "Fuck it." Like, "I'm done. I'm done." He can finally laugh at all of the things that have ailed him because he's like, "I see you." He jumps on the table and he's like, "Bravo."
And that is why y'all are the opening act and I'm the headliner, [ __ ] For real. For real. Now Lesta is taking back the narrative. He's no longer going to be a victim of these things. He's like, "No, I'm in the driver's seat." And the dreamscape switches to this like concert. It's really the alley where he first met Nick and like was entranced by his music. But this is a concert where everyone that has been either killed by him or traumatized by him, which I think is a very important detail, were there and he's performing for them and his failures are seated. And he's looking at them and he's like, "You view these as failures. I view this as a life where I tried. I did my best. I did what a vampire was supposed to do. Sorry about it." People are fangirling. He's looking at people. He knows exactly when and where he drained them. Some he feels pretty bad about, but he's like, I mean, I was probably the highlight of your life, right? And he has a moment where he like drops in and he looks at um Gabrielle and Louis and he's like, I loved you. You may think it was grotesque, but I loved you in my own way. And then he starts to lose his balance.
And I'm going to leave it there and I'm going to come back to this moment because I need to catch you up on everything that has gone on with Louie before we jump back in here. Y'all, we see Louis's head just floating with a bunch of wires and we hear Arman's voice out of nowhere and I'm like, "Leave him alone." Arand all season has been on this trip where he's like, "I'm an AA and we're supposed to amend with people." So, here's my letter to you, Louie. And this letter could not be more trash. It's like, yeah, I betrayed you.
Yeah, you know, I've had a lot of feelings since the 3 years that we broke up. And you know, I could feel bad about the things that I did to you, but and I know that I lured you to your death in that one play that one time. And you know, I kind of feel bad about it, but kind of not. And you know, I lied to you about it then for many years, but let bygones be bygones kind of thing. The whole time he's talking, you could see like through Louis POV how his view is like blurry. He's hyperventilating. He's like, "Where the [ __ ] am I? What is going on? Where is my body?" You could see his body on the side like reaching for his head. He's like, "Oh my god."
And the whole time her mind is just spiraling on how he's like talking himself out of guilt, yada yada yada.
Meanwhile, Louis is moaning in anguish.
And what took the cake for me is that Armon is like, "You know what? Now that that is off my chest, why don't you make some amends? Cuz I'm sure you have some things that you want to tell me, right, Arman? You sliced his head off his body.
What do you think that he could possibly want to tell you in this moment? I don't think you're going to like it. And literally Louis writes, "Fuck you." on this paper. Like, what is wrong with you? And so, we learn a little more.
Well, first of all, the whole time the doctor that was their doctor in Dubai and was also in the tour bus with Lestat, what's his name? What's the doctor's name? Fared, something like that. Earlier this season, Fared had mentioned that Lasat's head could be detached from his body for a few hours because of the kind of vampire that he was. And that is similar to why Louisie can be okay because he's his list fledgling. I have never seen something so sinister as our feeling so entitled to an apology from Louis. He's like, I said what I had to say. I would love to hear the things that you have to amend for. which I think is so crazy. But the parade of betrayals continue, right? Because he's like, "Oh, you don't want to apologize?
Well, let me give you a little inspo."
He pulls out this girl from the freezer and it's Frodia all tied up. When he takes off Frodia's thing that was covering her eyes and she sees Louis floating head, the shriek. I was like, "Yeah, girl. This [ __ ] is creepy."
Even though we know it's fake, seeing it on screen, like gives me like it it just makes me like I can only imagine if you were to see it in real life and you're like, I did say this was the parade of betrayals. Louis going in and out of consciousness, so Armand is like, "You know what? Let me catch you up really quickly since it seems like you're dying." Um, so you know, I had a lot of time to stew about our breakup and the way that you left me in Dubai. And so, you know, I did a little digging. I did a little googling and I found a a few Claudia doppelgangers and then I found this one that had, you know, a scamming past and I thought she would be great. And so Arand orchestrated a work visa for this girl and basically was like, "Yeah, my friend lost somebody." So he already set the game up to lure Louis in. And apparently even when he wasn't in the vicinity, he got into her mind kind of like telling her exactly what to say.
This man was still directing the play.
Still, Radia is apologizing profusely because she's like, "Whoa, like this is out of my bounds. I don't know what I thought messing with vampires. I I did not I did not know that it would get like this. Oh my god, we're going to die." Like, she's frantic because again, floating head in front of her the whole time. Louis declining and Armand's like, "You're slowly dying. So, anything you want to say to me, write it down. Write it down in the paper.
And Louis is like, "No, never." And then Armand is like, "Oh, I need you to understand that like people will die if you don't apologize to me." So there was a guy there that was helping him that was there to, you know, go against the way conversion. Arman does the same thing that he did to Larry. He looks at this man and he says rest. And this guy slits his head off too. So then he looks at Fraudia and he's like, "Rest."
Fraudia has a knife now and she's about to slit her wrist and she's about to and she's like begging, pleading with Louie like, "Please don't like please don't let me die." And Louis is like, "Fine, give me the paper." And he writes an apology that looks like, I'm sorry that I kissed you in front of list. Like he really is the love of my life. Like I'm sorry that I lied to you. And that was unacceptable. Unacceptable to Arman. And Louis like he's the love of my life.
Like he's always that's always been it.
And our mom looks at Claudia Fraudia and says rest. And she ends up slitting her.
glad she's alive cuz she's bleeding out slowly. And Louis's like, "Ugh, like what? Don't but I'm sorry. That's the truth. I love him. I'm still I'm still thinking about him right now." But as Louis talking like his mouth is like to the side like he's quickly just like out and Fared is like, you know, on the computers and he's like, "Oh yeah, he's dwindling.
Like he's not doing so good." Because this whole thing is like an experiment.
They've never attached a vampire head to a body. They just like are theorizing.
There's all these wires attached to Louis. Like they're working on the fly.
They don't really know. So when Arman sees that Louis is declining and he's like, "Okay, I need this apology. Um, so why don't you say it to me telepathically and I will recite it for posterity cuz of course he's recording this whole thing. I'm assuming for Daniel's documentary." So Louie starts talking and Lata and Arman repeats everything and Louie goes on and I'm like h I miss when Louisie was like the head of the show. I love Lata. I love him. But Louie was so poetic. H I love him even though he's also a liar. But in this moment I think that he brought Armand emotionally to his knees because Louis like listen. That's my truth. I've always loved Lto and you and I, we built like a cathedral on top of lies and we lived our lies so well. It felt real because yes, our mom did a lot of lying, but so did Louis to keep them together, you know.
And aside from the ways that they lied to each other, Arman would lie to himself and Louisie was lying to himself. And Louis said it, he was like, "I wanted to believe that I was a good negro. I wanted to believe that I was a good straight man. All things that were not true." And then this is where he goes in for the kill. He's like, "Arand, I know you have many reasons to be dark and twisted and demented." He did not say it like that, but that's how I'm saying it. You have many reasons as to why you are so [ __ ] up in the head or reasons that we've never really talked about a lot. And at this point, our mom is picking up what he's putting down.
And he's like, "Cut the cameras. Cut the cameras." and he tosses out the camera that was filming, closes Fared's um computer shut, and his eyes are like twinkling cuz he's crying at this point.
But like, and Louis's like, "We never really talked about it." And I think it's because I felt guilt because you were basically sold at 12 and I witnessed people in similar situations in my field cuz remember, Louie was a pimp. And this is probably like the realest combo they've ever had. And they were together for over 70 years. And then Louie says, "O I I wrote it down."
He says, "Aro, you need a love that will cradle you. You should have that. And I was never that for you. I'm sorry.
My coldness, my denial drove you to this." And basically Louis is like, "Even though you lied to me, I saw good in you." And at that point, you could tell that like Louie had no more energy and he's just like resting. At that point, he's like dwindling. And you could tell that that was what our mom just needed to hear to have closure.
Some of us have a hard time getting over a six-month situationship. Can you imagine being in a marriage for like 70 years?
I mean, maybe maybe we would have psychotic breaks as well, but this was crazy. But somehow our mom got what he needed for now from this situation.
And he basically tells Far like get him together. He puts some blood on Fraudia to like get her back together, healed.
And he's like, "Bad things happen to girlies that talk." Yeah. And she runs out. Fared is left behind like this is not my expertise. Yeah, he needs to be stitched together, but like I've never done that. And our mom just gets his [ __ ] and he's like, figure it out.
But as he was leaving, we could see that Louis has a big old scar a on his chest.
And I'm like, Armand literally branded this man. I can't I can't. But now the final moments we see list he's losing his balance and he's just like lamenting the lives that he took in moments where he wasn't his best you know and he's seated because you know he's like okay time is running out and all of a sudden we see this person walking behind him and it's Paul. I was I'm about to cry. I was not ready to see Paul. I loved Paul in season 1 and there's always been like all these conversations like did Las kill Paul and when I when I I texted my friend the minute I saw Paul in the scene I'm like wait aren't these people like victims of Lat? Like does this mean that Paul is a victim? But then I remember it again. This is not only people that were killed by Lestat. These are also people that were traumatized by Lestat. And I think that Paul falls in that category. He was shaken up by Lat's presence. Lestat was dark. Lest could get in his mind. He knew, you know, and so I was very shocked to see Paul here.
But Paul immediately sat down. Sort of like an anchor I would say to List.
Yeah, I know that you are ready to go, but I really see the way that you love my brother and my brother loves you, too. He can't really say it, but that's because of our dad. But he loves you.
You got to know that. And I'm like, "Oh my goodness." And he just thanks Lest for loving Louie and he's like, "But I wish you were a woman. I wish you were a woman still." And so I was like, but it was such a sweet moment. And there's a moment where like the sky breaks and you could see heaven and he hears the birds and you know Paul loved the birds but the birds communicate with him and we don't hear what they say but next thing you know Lestat wakes up in a coffin all stitched up in his tour bus and he's immediately overstimulated because freaking Sophia Gabriella with her boobs pushed all the way up is in his face. So is Raglin. And they're all making it very clear that they want the show to go on. And literally outside of the bus.
It's Vampire City. All these people banging ready for him to give them a show. And he's so upset. And for a moment he's about to wall out and he's like, "Where's Louis? Where's my husband?" Thankfully Louie was already on the bus on the other side. They have this moment like they're both like checking each other's scars and Louisie doesn't talk about it there, but List says that at the like after this concert, Louisie did um tell him everything that happened in his day. And the way that they're like so sweet with each other and so obviously back together. I was like, [gasps] I love this. But y'all, at this point, the vampires outside are getting rowdy and Sophia walks towards Lasat and Lasat unleashes his rage. He's like, "This is a chaos of your making, you [ __ ] witch. I'm not getting on that stage.
You get on the stage, you [ __ ] monster." And like, he's like letting her have it. And she's yelling back at him. And I'm just like, "Babe, Lasat does not belong to you. This was an awakening. He's like, "Wow, she has clearly used me. I love her because she's my mother and I wanted more. She wanted me for things that she had no business wanting." And now that he's fully aware of that, he's like, "Fuck off." And so, we don't see the concert, but we are told that it did go on. And I have a feeling that they'll show us the concert next season. What they do though is give us a heck of a cliffhanger because this whole season we've been hearing this voice over of the futurist talking about the failures, right? The failures of his life, how this album unleashed just like mayhem into the world and destroyed civilization. They pant to his thought while he's recording this. And while he's recording it, he's like, I don't know if people will ever listen to this. Maybe it'll flop. Maybe it won't sell at my auction, but you guys should know. And he's at his Montreal apartment. And I'm like, okay.
Like, where's Louis? Like I'm he's walking and I'm like, oh, is he like about to go lean on Louisie, y'all?
He mentions before he opens the door that like this concert unleashed so much. He woke up the queen and that she played a part as well, but really he's the one to blame. He opens the door.
Destruction.
It looks like The Day After Tomorrow.
Have you all seen that movie? That's what this looked like. And he just looks like shattered. So, they definitely set this up for the for the next season.
We're definitely going to get tons of Accasha then. They teased her this season. She's going to be a key player next season. I I have a feeling we'll probably see the concert next season.
I'm anticipating. We'll probably know like more about his relationship with Louis, more about his relationship with Gabrielle. Hopefully, we don't see her though because as he was recording, he was like, "Who knows where she is?
probably somewhere hating me because they're like they're cut off. But I was just shookth. I thought that their heads being chopped off was part of a bigger agenda. But for it to only be because Arman was salty about the breakup and his resentment, at least that's how I interpreted it is so wild to me. I'm really scared about what this destruction is going to keep meaning because like we just saw the land, but he's saying that like catastrophic things are happening. So, I can't wait to see that. Um, but yeah, you guys, we've reached the end. That was my recap. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments and thank you guys so much for watching. I will see you in the next one. Hopefully, they don't take 2 years to give it to us.
Bye. Heat. Heat.
