TAMOBYKE T73 MAX WALK AROUND…33MPH!

[00:00:00]Hey, how's it going everybody? Sarasota Tim. Welcome back to another review on an e-bike. And today we have the Tamobike. A moped style that is really impressed me. I'm telling you I've had three-wheel bikes, two-wheel bikes, commuter bikes, moped bikes. I've had them all. And let me tell you, this is a very impressive motorcycle style bike with very high-quality products.

[00:00:31]First of all, I want to show you something. The The tools they gave me.

[00:00:35]Look at these uh these T uh these things here with the handles.

[00:00:40]They give you these instead of those little cheap Allen wrenches. They give you these. And um this bag of screws is completely a spare of every screw on there that you would need. I never even had to open it. It Everything else was already screwed in the bike. You just remove it and you put the part on. It was also a no seat assembly. The saddle was already on there, which is a very difficult thing to put on on these e-bikes, I find. So, a front wheel, the headlight, charge the batteries, uh the pedals. Let me turn the bike camera around here. I'm just This bike is amazing. All right, here it is. Let me pull it The controller is super nice.

[00:01:26]This thing is cool. Look at this bike.

[00:01:29]Look Look at this controller. I don't know, it's probably going to be flickering, but it's got um Let me see if I can It's got a lot of, you know, more information than the other e-bikes I've had. I still have the little plastic thing on here. I'm not going to take it off. I always leave those on. It Look, it's even got the ergonomic style for your hand right here to put right here. And it has the old-fashioned throttle. Instead of this being the throttle, it's got a Whoa!

[00:02:00]And it has a turn signals and they're simple.

[00:02:03]Uh this other e-bike I've got, you got to press the button twice. The buttons do two different things. This is very simple. Left, right. Just turn it on.

[00:02:14]Look at this. And it's it it does like a little Uh at night you can see this Very cool. Look at those shocks, man, with the red on there.

[00:02:25]And this kickstand is really high quality.

[00:02:28]I've got a little storage box down here.

[00:02:31]Two batteries. Uh you leave the batteries on on on. You don't leave one on and then put the other one on later.

[00:02:38]Turn the turn signal off. I've got to unlock it yet to find out how to go uh over the 18 or 20 mph that come from the factory. But look at Let me turn the headlight on show you. All you do is just press the button that says headlight right here.

[00:03:08]And this has a little tape too that comes off and the uh uh decal is underneath it.

[00:03:14]Also down here, this tape comes off with the decal underneath. I'm leaving it on right now.

[00:03:20]Got the derailleur. Oh, by the way, the uh passenger pegs, very high quality.

[00:03:29]Pedals are nice. I'll put the front fender on.

[00:03:33]The headlights, it's got this nice bracket you mount in here.

[00:03:37]I had to figure it out. I had to take this out so I could get these on first and then you put the headlight back on.

[00:03:44]Beautiful saddle on it.

[00:03:47]Um I love the controllers. A a looking controller.

[00:03:52]Uh hydraulic brakes front and rear. Look at that battery is like a gas tank.

[00:03:58]This thing is nice.

[00:04:00]Well, I'm going to take it for a ride and uh come back and uh read up on how to unlock it to a class three.

[00:04:07]But, I like this bike. The Tamou bike.

[00:04:11]It's the uh T73 Max. The Max gives you maximum uh distance cuz you get two batteries.

[00:04:19]There's a T73 and there's a T73 Max.

[00:04:22]They got a Pro Max, too, that has a motor on the front hub and the motor on the back. I just took the one in the back.

[00:04:32]I love how this become the buttons are so uh uh intuitive and this little thing here to put your hand.

[00:04:40]A lot of high quality. The styling of the battery look like a gas tank.

[00:04:44]The saddle is really nice. Definitely uh comfortable for two people to ride two up. And uh it's got a little reflector in the front here.

[00:04:54]Nice um spoke uh five spoke wheels front and rear.

[00:05:05]Well, I'm curious to how it rides and how that suspension feels.

[00:05:09]You can turn your batteries on right here.

[00:05:14]On and that one's on.

[00:05:17]Because running them together is better than one at a time. I mean, it's a 100-lb bike, so.

[00:05:26]The box was 106-lb.

[00:05:28]I don't know if it's a 100-lb bike. It's probably close to it, though.

[00:05:33]Very handsome bike.

[00:05:35]And it is And it's higher than the other one that I have. I I noticed that right away. This thing is tall.

[00:05:41]So, I mean, if you're 6-ft or 6-2 or something, you're going to have no problem uh riding this bike.

[00:05:48]I love the little storage tray for the lock or whatever. Oh, I forgot to put my phone um They give me a phone uh holder up there. I still got to put that on. And I got the lock. Let me just toss that in there along with some other stuff.

[00:06:03]All right, folks. I'm going to take it for a ride. Crush it. Folks, we got our new winner.

[00:06:07]I'm not I'm not going to exaggerate. I I can't believe it.

[00:06:11]Let me turn this off. Where's the power?

[00:06:15]All right. You know how you can adjust these with pedal assist 1 through 5, and then you got the throttle, or you just pedal and they take off. And most of them you have to do a little sequence of of numbers on the controller or go on an app or something to unlock them.

[00:06:34]I put this thing on pedal assist 5 just to see what the maximum speed was. It took off here in my subdivision, and when I got out on the road, it went 33 mph instantly.

[00:06:47]And I couldn't even hear the motor. Uh the other bikes that I have, you can hear the motor. It's It's solid. And that's the way all of them have sounded that I've had so far. I don't know what this one is. This one's a gem. This one is quiet. The tires are quiet. The motor is extremely quiet. And all you do is you just pedal your legs a little bit cuz it has a cadence motor. I think it's a bigger motor. It's got to be a different motor because this thing does 33 mph on throttle only or pedal assist.

[00:07:15]I went all the way down about a mile back and forth a couple of three starts.

[00:07:21]Then I stopped and looked at it. I I put my glasses on. I have to wear readers. I put them on. I said, "Oh, this got to be on It's got to be on kilometers, right?"

[00:07:29]Because that'll always fool you. It's on miles per hour. It does 33 mph. That's the fastest e-bike I've ever received from any company. Uh the Tammo bike, the T73 um max with the two batteries and the Kenda tires, this bike moves, man.

[00:07:51]And I And I got it with the saddle seat, the uh tan uh saddle on there.

[00:07:57]And it's got this tray on the bottom here for storage. They give you a lock.

[00:08:02]And by the way, another part they gave me, check this out.

[00:08:06]All those cool tools they gave, uh these Allen wrenches with the uh the T-bar on there, this is what they give you.

[00:08:14]And then uh there's only two or three wrenches you need uh to like put the pedals on. And all these extra screws, you don't even use them. Those are spares they give you. But look what they gave me.

[00:08:40]So I just seated the brakes. It's important uh even on cars, when you uh get a new uh brake job done, you should uh definitely go out Uh here it is.

[00:08:55]A brand new set of brake pads.

[00:08:57]Um but you're always supposed to slam on the brakes about six or seven times from about 30 35 mph, you know, hit them really hard to burn that uh top layer off to seat them. And so that's what I did with this. And it stopped really good. Uh both brake pedals are good and uh the handles are good and hard. And um I just love this bike.

[00:09:31]But I love the uh the controllers, where it just shows you and the horn.

[00:09:36]I got the the switch off. When you light the controller up, it looks small, there's all kinds of information on here. It's very cool looking. These were impressive right away about putting your hands here. It's a seven-speed Shimano that you use. Uh I love the shocks, how they're visible there. I mean, this thing is it's fast, 33 mph. I'm not kidding you.

[00:09:59]I'm going to video. I've got a a camera that goes around my neck. I've got a thing that holds my phone.

[00:10:04]33, man. This one's a keeper.

[00:10:08]Oh, man. I've got this bike rack here, this um Oh, I can put it on the back of my truck, but I have it mounted on the front. I put a front trailer hitch uh on my F-250 Super Duty, and uh this is a bike rack that Young Electric sent me.

[00:10:24]Uh it folds up like this, and then you can fold it down, and uh you can put a single bike on. They make a double, too. They sent me a double once before, but I just asked them for a single this time. And this is a ramp that you can put down when you when you drop it down, and push the bike up on there, and it is perfect for e-bike, especially a nice, heavy one. Look at that thing.

[00:10:58]I I can't wait to ride it again. I I've been charging the batteries for a couple of hours, and they're not the lights weren't green yet, so I'm going to put them back on the charger.

[00:11:07]But man, I love this bike. I'm telling you. I knew um I asked AI uh when I was uh They got different models. They said, "You can choose any one you want." And everything from their entry-level model to this one with two motors on it. And I just didn't know about two motors with two batteries and extra weight, and possibly a problem. I don't know.

[00:11:28]Uh but apparently this company has got such high quality. I can tell when I put it together. I'm not kidding you here.

[00:11:34]Uh uh They told me I can make Heck, I had to call them up and tell them I got the bike here. I'm about ready to make a review on it. They haven't even pressured me at all to do anything special. They just said, "We want you to give an honest review. We've seen your other videos. Just go to town." So, there you go. T73 Max from Tamobike is definitely a highly recommended bike by me. It goes 33 mph without any of that confusing changing things on an app or on the controller. It's a two two-up bike with rear passenger pegs, turn signals, LED headlights, LED tail lights, brake lights, and really cool comfortable hand grips, very cool styling with the gas tank style battery. One They're both 48 V and one is a 15 amp hour and the other one is a 20 amp hour. You can get over 100 mi. I think they talk about 120 to 150, but I will tell you this right now.

[00:12:34]I don't care who they are. I think that a lot of those numbers they put out regarding how far you can go is probably on ideal conditions at the the lowest speed you can go and and all of that.

[00:12:47]You get any wind or hills and stuff, but I can tell you this. With two batteries and the technology today, these lithium batteries, you're going to go as far as you're going to want to sit on this bike in any one day. And then at the end of the day, you just throw it on the charge. And they give you two chargers.

[00:13:03]What a value that Tamobike does. They give you two chargers. And I've got another bike in there with two batteries. They only gave me one charger. It is a big charger. I think it it puts out a little bit more amps or whatever, but a slow charging is always good because they give you the best charge that way. They give you extra brake pads, a lock.

[00:13:22]I don't know if they just gave it to me because I asked them for something. I might have asked them for that lock. and they just they listen to you, man. So, I got the lock, which I recommend. You can just throw it right in that little case right down here. And the phone carrier, I didn't ask for that. I didn't know they had one. So, I don't know whether it comes with them or it's an option. You can buy them, of course, on Amazon, but if they give it to you, bonus. I've got it right inside the shed. I haven't installed it yet.

[00:13:50]I had to put on the front tire, the front fender, and the headlight, and the handlebars. It comes with a seat on it.

[00:13:58]The battery's already installed like that. I had to take them off to charge them. And I had to put the pegs on and the passenger pegs.

[00:14:06]I mean, these were all just bolt-on. And like where your fender goes and the headlight goes, the bolts are already in the screw in the holes. You just unscrew them and put them back in. I mean, anybody can do it. And it's really really a nice bike. I could believe how quiet it was. I'm going to go ride it again just to verify. I got to pinch myself. This thing is crushing it.
