This video demonstrates that airport security personnel have the authority to deny boarding to passengers who cause disturbances, and passengers must comply with instructions from law enforcement. When a passenger refused to listen to repeated warnings from airport staff and police, the situation escalated until he was arrested for battery and resisting an officer. The key lesson is that 'no means no' in authority situations, and ignoring clear instructions from security personnel can lead to serious legal consequences. The passenger's entitlement mindset and refusal to accept authority's decisions resulted in him being removed from the airport and facing criminal charges.

I [music] don't ride for nobody, no bad, no crew. Truth favors just come through.
I don't take sides of the time. [music] Let the contact break through.
>> On September 27th, 2023, officers were called to the airport after reports of a man causing a disturbance.
>> Where is he?
>> He somehow managed to make a double stop.
Excuse me. Get out of the way, please.
>> Hey, hey, I'm I'm going cut in early.
Welcome to In Plain Sight. And now, why I'm cutting in early is for this one very important reason. Don't come after the cop yet. Ple please give him give him some grace. You'll understand why I'm asking you to give him some grace. I want to make I'm defending him, man. I got to defend the man for a reason beyond. Look, when you find it, you're going to see why I jumped in. I really you will.
[sighs and gasps] It's going to be a doozy. [laughter] It's going to be a doozy. An absolute gem. All right, let's get at it.
>> Thank you.
>> Yo, let's go.
>> Let's go. Come with me. Let's go. What are you doing, sir?
>> What are you doing? Let's go. I'm doing nothing.
>> Get off the bridge. Let's go.
>> You don't listen to people. Is that your problem? Come on. Let's go. Keep walking.
>> Wait.
>> Listen.
>> Can we get to the end? We talk. All right.
>> Okay.
>> Let's go.
>> Can I talk?
>> No. You walk at the end. Talk. Walk now.
We talk later. You got a problem listening to people.
>> I keep walking. Let's go.
They tell you you're not flying, you're not flying. it. [clears throat] The first thing that came in my mind is when you're trying to talk to a kid that that really want to do something, playground, school, whatever, and they just don't want to. That's what this feel like. You'll be rating a kid. I'm here for it though.
>> Yeah, they are. [laughter] Keep going.
>> They racist.
>> Okay. Well, they're racist.
>> They are racist and I am wrong.
>> I'm wrong.
>> Keep walking. They are racist and I don't want >> If they tell you you're not flying, you're not flying. So, you have to listen to them. How about that?
>> I will listen. Let's go. Keep walking.
>> I will listen to the cops and listen you the police.
>> Well, you got to listen to them, too.
>> Let's go. I don't have to listen.
>> Yeah, you do. Buddy, >> come on. Let's go. Come on, man. Don't worry.
>> Please move.
>> No vinyl. Listen.
>> Don't make it. Don't make it. [laughter] See the problem is when when things hit the fan all of a sudden now no violence.
You barged away down there using violence but now [laughter] I want to get this right. I really do.
Let me let me fully understand this.
They tell you no. You say yes. They say no. You say yes.
Now the cops come, they stronger than you. Okay. [laughter] [laughter] Debo show up now. Now when Debo show up, no violence, please. [laughter] No. No. No. No. No, no. Mm- No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Violence.
You chose already. We're just reciprocating, buddy.
I like it. No. Hey, no violence. No, you don't get that choice now. You forfeited that, sir, a while back. [snorts] That was rich. No violence.
>> If they're telling you not to go on the plane, why why don't you listen to them if they tell you that?
It's not up to you. It's up to them.
[laughter] >> You made it quite a way in there. All the way to the plane.
>> You're going to sit over here and we're going to have a nice long chat. That's what's going to happen. [laughter] >> Come sit over here.
>> I like these guys. They're great.
I'm going to sit here and have a nice conversation.
>> What's wrong, sir?
>> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. You He didn't just He didn't just say that, did he? There's no No, no, no. Ain't nah.
Let me get this right, mister.
[clears throat] You were in a location they told you not to be in.
The cops had to come get you.
And you you you don't see what's wrong like at all. Not that's not not >> You got your license, sir.
>> You got your license?
>> I was.
>> Okay. He just asked for your license.
>> So, it's is really necessary.
>> Did he tell you you're not flying?
You're not flying.
>> Means you're not going to fly.
>> I'll tell you, huh?
>> I don't know what happened before. He told me he's [laughter] >> Whatever the situation, >> I was over here.
>> 82. He came over there screaming. Why are you >> screaming for no reason? I have no idea what happened.
>> I was the the captain was here at the gate. The captain heard him screaming, threatening, and the captain said he doesn't want him on the flight.
>> So, we boarded the flight. We told him, "You're not allowed. We can't let you on the flight."
>> He was supposed to go at 82.
>> No, he was supposed to go here, but I was working at 82.
>> Okay.
>> So, the captain heard him screaming at me and screaming at him, and the captain said he doesn't want him on the flight.
Still I >> did he really [clears throat] listen?
You just proved that she's not lying.
You You literally just gave all the proof we ever needed that she is not telling a lie. You the cops are right like literally in front of you.
And don't give me this. Oh, it must be a cultural BS.
Courtesy alone will tell you, "Okay, two cops are standing right next to me. Uh, the lady's talking to somebody. You feel the need to get up and try to approach the late brother, you looking to get beat all the way down to the floor, like into the floor.
But have no fear. I think ju just based on how the cops are acting, if you really want that, they will have no problem giving you what you want. Buddy, you might actually get what you finally want. You may not be on the plane, but if you do want that, you know, them hands, Johnny might have bled you.
Johnny might oblig you.
>> Discriminate.
>> Just relax.
>> I have been discrimination.
>> Say you discriminated me.
>> What?
>> I discriminate you.
>> Why are you being so loud?
>> I have been discriminated.
>> Why are you being so loud?
>> I'm not.
[laughter] >> We're not deaf. Stop screaming, man.
[snorts] >> We're trying to help you. We're trying to help them.
>> When you If you were to help me, I need to take this plane.
>> You're not going to get on that plane.
You're not flying on that plane.
>> After this, they're probably not going to let you fly.
>> You're not going to fly on a plane. They told you no. No means no.
>> That's the rule.
>> No means no, >> sir.
>> They run the show.
>> I pass through the the the security.
>> It doesn't matter.
>> I do anything. I do nothing.
>> It doesn't matter. Right.
>> It's a If they want to tell you not to fly, they can say it. It's their right.
>> No means no. Where's your Where's your ID at?
>> I need a translator, sir.
>> I'm sorry.
>> I need a translator.
>> Okay. A translator.
>> Yeah.
>> Let's send you a portable board. You speak Spanish?
>> I need a translator, please.
>> You You speak Spanish?
>> I can't talk with a translation. That's a a lawyer.
[laughter] >> Now you know about lawyer. You need a translator. But you know about lawyer.
Okay. You know ID though. I think you know that cuz you to go through security like you said you did they would have told you ID or passport please you'd have to present that right but you don't now you don't know you did nothing wrong you could get all that out you know the word discrimination uh you know a lot of English it sound like you you can speak pretty good enough to communicate to to fly at minimum I might just be the crazy one.
>> You're hilarious.
>> You listen to yourself.
>> What you tell, man?
>> They discriminate me.
>> No, they told you no, you're not going to fly. That means why they don't have to have a reason. That's a private private company. No, they can tell you anybody they want.
>> Discriminates.
>> Well, I'm not here for that. I'm here because they told you no. And you?
>> I'm here because they told you no. And no means no. Do you understand? No means no.
>> It's like talking to a damn kid, bro.
I'm not kidding you. It's like you berating one of the most ignorant children on the planet. Like, I said no.
No mean no. But I want the candy. No, kid. No.
No is no in most languages. Okay, there might be there's a select few, but he don't sound like he speak the one few languages that no doesn't apply. He knows what no means. If they said no, I'm pretty sure it translates to no, but you said yes and and then you complain that they don't want you to go somewhere where they told you. How are people this entitled, man?
It doesn't mean maybe. It doesn't mean it's up to you cuz it's not up to you.
It's not up to you. It's a private business. They said no. That means no.
>> You have >> that's what it means.
>> Your license.
>> I'm going to get a translator over here.
I'm gonna get a translator over here.
Okay.
>> Lentia poor. If he asks you that, >> we're going to have a problem.
>> Oh, I'm gonna have a problem. [laughter] >> I like this cop. I do. I dig this cop.
I I I I dig this cop.
I d I dig this cop. I dig this cop.
If you look at the facial expression when the cop says, "If I get somebody over here and they ask you that question, we going to have a problem."
His face was like, "Oh [ __ ] [laughter] The odds are at checkin, like I said, at check-in, they would ask you that question in English." The odds are it's in English.
They would have seen you right off the rip. and you're going to the airport to travel, you have a ticket. The first thing regardless of any language is you have I even if it was even if you were deaf, you could figure this out, bro.
I I I >> I'm going to tell you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Nothing.
>> It's pretty bad for you right now.
>> You're being ridiculous. It's bad for you now and you're making it worse.
>> So rude to me.
>> I'm not rude to you. I asked you for your license.
>> But I am.
>> You're like a 2-year-old kid.
>> Boarding pass.
>> I don't know why.
>> License or boarding pass?
>> Need a translator and then >> translator is not going to help you.
>> So what happened?
>> The passenger originally came up to me after I was I was still working in Philadelphia. here delayed 4 and 1 half hours and I was trying to get him out of here. He came up to me, approached me here and started yelling at me immediately that [laughter] he was demanding I help him immediately and I said, "Hey man, I'll try to help you, but I got to see Philadelphia passengers off first." And once I said that, he started screaming at me saying, "I demand help right now." And then uh I told him, "You need to respect me. You need to be quiet and once I'm done with this flight, I'll come help you."
>> I would have had to walk away from him at that point. Came back up here. He wasn't he wasn't available to me. But I got called by my colleague that he had approached her screaming at her and with a this camera recording her and I went to go meet a plane and he ran up to me to take a video or photo of me. I asked him not to. And he said, "Sir, keep this up. We're going to have to not allow you to fly with American Airlines." And then during the initial boarding, I stood behind my boarding agent to monitor and tell him I'm going to step to the side.
So I said, "Sir, he step to the side.
We're not going to be able to fly with us today." And he persisted and tried to sc my hand on the scanner and I tried to turn to the side and then he tried that pass come around him. He was still uh when I did that I had physic I physically got hit on my hand because he was trying to access the scanner with my hand over it. I he never did schedule the test, but then he just went on down.
And at that point, I figured I should get ahead of him and shut up my shut my secure door. And when I went to lock the door and I tried to shut the door, he ran through my arm and I'm still going to feel the numbness of my parents.
Actually physically, >> you want you want to press charges?
>> You want to press charges for battery? I >> think I do. Okay, you can do that.
Now remember they said he took pictures or video when they asked for that phone in whatever language he wants. That is I mean I'm sure they'll oblige him in any language he wants. You want it in turquoise, purple, pink, anything you want. Just ask whatever lang. In fact, we'll it's airport. We have a myriad of translators. In fact, because there's so many people that fly through airports, they more than likely have a dude that speaks 19 languages. That's the beauty of an he picked the wrong place to act a fool. But just in case he decided, you know, I want to I want to translate it.
Hold a minute. Or in the words of the cop. [laughter] I love that part. Hey, I'll get you a translator. If I get the translator, you still act a fool. We having some we going to have some trouble. I like that.
I really do. I appreciate this dude.
This this this that that cop. Give that man a raise or something. Something donuts, something. Whatever he want, give it to him. This is great.
>> I don't know why. You You have a clear problem with listening.
>> You have a very clear problem with listening.
>> I'm a vocational.
>> Okay. So, what?
>> I'm not here to get a problem.
>> Well, you already are a problem clearly.
Why am I here talking to you? [laughter] My spirit animal. [laughter] This is my dude. This is my guy right here. [laughter] The cup is my guy. I want to shake it. I want to meet him. Now, this is my homie.
He's now my Okay. Officially, this is my best buddy right here. That cop. It I want to shake his I want to shake his hand. Take Give him beer. We going to sit down and have us a beer. That's what we going to do. That's exactly how it would be. If I were ever to be in that situation, that's how I'd be talking to people.
That's how I do it. I appreciate him so much. Y'all will never know how much joy I'm feeling just listening to this interaction. Like really, you will never know. You will never know.
I I got like, you know, when you you hear something really funny and your pores just open up and I'm sparkling now thinking about this is some great stuff.
This is this is amazing.
I'm glad somebody finally act like me, man. This is good stuff.
>> Let me see the your boarding pass or your license.
>> I'm waiting. You can wait all you want.
It's not going to change anything.
>> You're making this a lot worse and a lot harder than you have like a 2-year-old.
>> 2-year-old baby.
>> I like all of them. Two beers.
Beers all around.
[laughter] Bottomless. Bring the biggest p biggest you got. Just bring We are going to have pretzels. We going to have onion rings and mozzarella sticks and beer.
We just going to have a grand old time.
Might even might Well, look, we might even do karaoke.
We We might do karaoke. Look, he looked like he might be singing like some um I don't know, [clears throat] some old old school Beach Boys kind of songs, you know?
Margaritaville. He looked like the Margaritavville kind of kind of karaoke cop. I could do I could I could go with that. I could go with that.
Damn, this is good. Telling you >> because you're acting like a baby. I'm acting like a baby. What about a juice?
You think you're going to just walk onto the plane after they told you no? That's like a 2-year-old.
>> Why would they say they can say whatever they want? Jimmy, that's what it means.
I need to get You're not going on the plane.
>> I'm flying today, man.
>> Thank you very much.
>> No, not thank you very much.
>> You're done. Thank you.
You're welcome. We're here to help you.
>> Bought a solo.
>> We're here to help you.
>> So, he's he's going to go for battery trying to get down the gate.
>> All right. Stand up. Put your hands behind your back.
>> What?
>> You're being arrested for battery. Stand up and put your hands behind your back.
>> What happened, son?
>> You're being arrested for battery.
>> What happened, son?
>> Take this off here. I'll take it off.
I'll >> take it off.
>> Put your hand behind your back. Take this back.
>> Don't put your hand behind your back.
>> Your hand behind your back. That's all you got to do.
>> I got it. I got this.
>> I got your porn.
>> She's broken my my arm.
>> She's broken my arm. I don't think that's what's happening, boss.
I don't think that's what's happening.
I'm kind of Look, again, there is there's a there's a certain level of etiquette and it goes across borders. It goes across languages and it's it's called decency.
Okay. So like and again like we went over the word no.
Maybe he just doesn't get it. Maybe it's and and maybe he's entitled his whole life. I don't know.
>> Put your hand behind your back.
>> I'll put this.
>> Okay. Stop.
>> Okay. I I just want to take my >> This is what's going to happen. You're going to go to the ground.
>> I just I don't I just put here behind your back.
>> I got it.
You're not You're not okay. Okay. Okay.
Okay.
>> Behind your back.
>> Put your hand behind your head. Stop resisting and put your hand behind your back.
>> Okay. I got I got it.
>> Help it. Help [screaming] it.
>> Help it. Help it.
[clears throat] We're okay.
>> WE'RE [screaming] OKAY.
>> HELP.
>> WE'RE OKAY.
>> OH, MAN. WHAT a dream, man. I'm a vacation, man.
[laughter] >> It's quite the vacation. [clears throat] Hey, look at it this way. Okay, look at it this way. You going to have one hell of a story to tell people.
What? Look, listen. Listen.
Imagine the campfire story. Um, imagine imagine the the the bar that you go to and you can tell everybody the coffee d man. You are going to be the life of parties from here on out. You got you got a story. If nothing else, you can go home and say when I went to America, I came with big story.

>> What did you do, man?
>> Have a very hard time.
>> Okay. I mean listen you when I ask you for numbers.
>> All right.
>> Mhm.
>> Yeah.
>> It's too tight.
>> Too tight.
>> I thought he didn't know English.
Remember? Look, he knows the word tight.
He knows what you're doing, but he don't know ID. You Why you always lying?
You stop the cap, bro. You know exactly what ID meant. Otherwise, you wouldn't ask for a translator when they asked that. But now you don't need a translator.
Which proves that physical force is equal across every language barrier.
>> Mhm.
>> Okay.
>> Mr. Help me.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Somebody help me. Mr. Okay, relax. Stop yelling.
[screaming] >> [laughter] [laughter] >> Oh, good lord.

>> Is he standing up?
>> It's too tight, man.
>> It's too tight, man.
[clears throat] I wonder how far off.
It's too tight is from here's my ID or from I want a lawyer.
Again, if this all is a thought process for you that you need a lawyer and a translator, then the terms of I need an identification should automatically be normal to you. Again, considering that you walked into an airport and had to present such documentation in order to even get past security.
to die.
>> There you go.
It's >> good. It's good. Now you going to stand up OR WHAT? STOP YELLING. [screaming] >> HELP ME.

>> I said no. I just want to take my phone.
Put in my bag. Please, sir.
>> Walk that way.
>> What are you doing? My bad. Like my bag.
>> I such all the time here. [laughter] Put my foot in the bag, please. There were lawsuits.
>> Law. Now he knows the word lawsuit. This man, look, listen here. Listen here. If it's one thing the cops did is taught him myriads of English words today.
He act like he don't know English, right? Whether he do or not, that's what he act like. Okay, cool. Cuz he don't know the word ID. They just taught him 15 different words. This is the best class he's had. See, vacation can pay off. Vacations can indeed come with some bonuses. And his bonus is that he learning English today.
Thank you. You did really good. You taught a man respect. You taught him how to listen. And a bonus English.
Wow.
I'm still up for them beers, though.
>> Sir, you are the officer. Why you did that?
>> You're not listening. You're having a very hard time listening.
>> But I'm listening, sir. I'm listening all the time.

>> They take they they get what they want.
Just that.
>> No. Yeah, they did get what they want.

I'm surprised none of the people just went clap clap clap clap clap clap us happy happy happy happy happy clap clap clap I'm surprised nobody did that I'm surprised they didn't announce it over the airways to I would have done that I'm petty like that I would announce that they were walking down certain directions towards transit that I again I petty I don't do certain jobs okay I know my limits >> that no one wanted this buddy >> told you you could go on and you thought you could just get right on That's what's I say. So I say the copy.

>> Just don't get it.
>> I just would let know what they tell you guys.
>> You don't get to ask us questions if you ask for a lawyer. You're done because >> Okay. Because >> so so attitude.

>> No, it's fine.
So I should I should watch what you're doing.
>> You are messing my things and I not in my presence. Not in my presence.
>> Want to go on the other side.
>> You should mess my things in my presence. The camera is filing.
[laughter] >> All right.
>> Everything's on camera. Everything's on camera. Look, his camera is on.
>> You need to mess my things in my presence.
>> You don't need to you you don't you don't >> Everything's recorded.
>> This This just with a warning. You have a water.
>> Amazing how many words he knows. Now, I told y'all these cops are doing a public service.
Imagine [snorts] you show up to an event, you know, a cop. You show up to this place and they say, "There's a guy here that's trying to break into a plane. You get him and he sits down and he pretends not to know what to say."
Then you ask him for ID. He say, "Translator." Okay. You say, "I'm going to get you translator." Now it goes from translator to him starting to act a fool. All of a sudden the handcuffs come out. English is his first language. It feels like now he knows about warrants.
Amazing.
And he knows about the words presence.
You can only do that in my presence.
That's And who says who says who says that authority can't help you? He is helping that. They are helping that man. He's going to leave here today a much more rounded individual with his language barriers. Traveling will be so much easier for him now. This is great. I'm glad to see people. This is humanity at its best. Helping each other out. Ain't that amazing? Ain't that great? That's go. That's so good.
>> You have a warrant?
>> I don't I don't need one. You're a ref.
Okay. You You don't need >> All right, we're going the other side.
We're going in the car. All right. Okay.

>> My man. You >> take it off.
>> No, we're not taking it off. You have to ride with it in the front.
>> Nope.
>> He knows about front. He knows the options. Now it's amazing.
He knows what get in the car mean.
>> You want to uh go outside and put this on?
>> You know what seat belt is, too? Crazy.
No, >> that's that's good stuff. He's learned so many things today. This is good. This is good.

>> You want me to go look at it for the transport? Yeah.

Share your thoughts in the comments below. [laughter] >> I'll go back to my favorite part and I want you to watch the face. And this is my favorite part coming up here. when he gets up to talk to the lady.
This is my favorite of all favorite parts. Ah, there. Right there.
You see, people like this really believe that they have the entitlement that in their mind is afforded them. And it only takes a few stronger hands to prevail over their mindset and prove to them, "Shut up. Please, you talk too much.
This is amazing. This is good stuff. I needed this laugh like you wouldn't believe. I needed this laugh so bad.
There are just some things that make you go belly laugh and your neck hurt and everything. I needed that today. I man and future people whether you speak one language or not. I I think we can all understand what no. And even if you don't understand no, you understand this. Okay. [laughter] If you go and this is the worst place to do it is at an airport. Don't go into an airport and they say don't go there and you say I'm going.
It could end worse than this. You could you could be manhandled, but you can also be you know how you're going down a terminal. You could be you could they could make you terminal, too. I don't think you want that. I think I don't think you want that at all. You could do that and then become baggage. No, you don't want that neither. Okay. There there's so many negative things that could happen when you do it. So, don't be like the young man here or the old man. whatever his age is, he might be carrying it real well. Don't do that.
Don't go barging and then act like you didn't do nothing. Ignorance is not bliss all the time. Sometimes it's it's painful. So, with that, [laughter] that being said, we look forward to your comments on this one, bro. Like, what? I can't wait to read what you got to say.
[snorts] I really can't. Uh, so make sure you look as be as be as colorful as you want. I I ain't going I ain't even going to hate on you for it. Be as colorful as you want in the comment section and and we'll catch you on the next one.
[music] >> No bad no truth just come through. I don't take sides. I take time and refuse. Let the context break through.
If [music] you clean, you clean. That struct >> [music]
