[00:05:25]But you see, Nigeria is much bigger than those headlines. Yes. Nigeria has serious challenges. Nigerians themselves even complain about insecurity, [music] inflation, unemployment, poor electricity, and many other issues. Like nobody is denying those realities.

[00:05:44]Nigeria is also home to some of biggest businesses, >> [music] >> one of the largest economies on the continent, globally recognized musicians, >> [music] >> filmmakers, entrepreneurs, fashion designers, and millions of hard working people building successful [music] lives every day. I mean, sometimes you just need to visit a particular place before [music] you can, you know, get to conclusion. And you see, you can find luxury estates, modern cities, beautiful resorts, [music] thriving tech companies. I mean, world-class talent.

[00:06:15]At the same time, you also find communities struggling with poverty.

[00:06:19]Both realities exist, [music] and the same is true for many countries around the world. No nation is completely rich.

[00:06:26]South Africa is not the only rich country. [music] Definitely, it's not, and it will never be the only rich country. There are a lot of other rich countries around the continent.

[00:06:36]And you see, no nation is completely poor.

[00:06:40]No nation is completely poor.

[00:06:42]And that's why it's important not to judge an entire country from a few videos on social media, or from stories we've heard growing up, or maybe some kind of pictures you see people maybe taking on the internet and stuff like that. You don't just got to judge [music] a country based on that. There is more to every country. I also appreciated those people that, uh, you know, trying to point out that wealth exists across Africa, [music] not just in South Africa. I mean, this is a very big misconception. It's not just in South Africa that there is wealth. We [music] have wealth all over Africa.

[00:07:16]Africa is rich, not just one country.

[00:07:20]>> [music] >> That's a reminder that, you know, Africa is diverse, and every nation has something to contribute. You know, at the end of the day, this shouldn't even be, >> [music] >> you know, become Nigeria versus South Africa something. No.

We have beautiful people, cultures, of businesses, and [music] challenges, you know, that need solving. So, instead of competing over who is better, maybe we should just spend more time [music] learning one another, if that's even nice. Because when Africans understand each other better, everyone benefits.
