[00:00:00]Hello everybody. I'm TheHammer from TheHammerGameChannel. Welcome back to Hearts of Iron IV and welcome back to Kaiserredux, a mod which I have been playing so goddamn much recently. But welcome back finally to A to Z. We're finally doing an episode of A to Z and we are indeed playing as the Kumul Khanate today. And oh boy, are we hopefully going to go on a wild journey to uniting all of China under our glorious rule. Well, well, well, we're in a bit of a sorry state right now.

[00:00:28]We're tiny and insignificant and I believe we are a puppet of the Xinjiang Clique. Well, this is going to be fun today. We have one division in total right now, one whole division. We are currently ruled by the first reformer, Nasir Shah. And we do have two national spirits, a legacy of Max Sud and the peacekeeper of Xinjiang. And here's our focus tree for today. It is nothing spectacular, but what were expecting. I do think we'll go for the Constitution prevails. I think we will properly reform into a modern monarchy. And then I guess once we've taken Xinjiang, we can do some of this stuff. But let's go ahead and start with the 21 bags. Oh, nice. We have zero factories right now.

[00:01:08]Well, that's going to be extremely helpful for us. Strengthen unity under the Qing Empire. Well, it's a shame it's going to go in the bin soon, that faction. Right, we're going to work down to the increased constitutionalism cuz Nasir's constitutional reforms have promoted stability in the Khanate.

[00:01:22]There's actually growing unrest against Nasir right now and that's due to his slow progression of his promised reforms. And there we go, the illusion of the Qing hegemony is gone. Oh, we do actually have the army reform to deal with as well today, of course. Right, increased constitutionalism. Well, Russia's made a very early decision and that decision is civil war. We have just paid tribute to the Xinjiang government, which has been in the form of a singular melon. Don't think I'd be very happy if I just received a melon. Didn't even realize Poland was getting taken over by Germany there, but yeah, a few things are obviously kicking off in Russia. Jin Shuren, the new governor of Xinjiang, has invited Nasir himself to a meeting in Dihua in order to establish relations with the Great Khanate. I'm sure nothing will go wrong at that meeting. Nothing at all.

[00:02:07]Well, yep, it was a trap. So, Nasir has been basically arrested.

[00:02:13]He has been removed from power. And yep, the situation in Kumul has changed drastically. So, yeah, not good. We're now ruled by Jin Shuren and we're called Hami. And that's what opens up this administration, right? That's fine. But not fine for the people because the new cabinet is completely useless. Well, that's interesting.

[00:02:33]Emperor Puyi has just recognized Kumul.

[00:02:35]Now, we're open up to immigration now. A coup has taken place. Yolbars Khan has taken control, the warrior. We get rid of the Han immigration and it looks like the Xinjiang Clique is going to lose control over us. We are the Kumul Khanate and we are indeed free. An alliance has just been made. General Zongnian He has an army without a state and Yolbars has a state without an army. So, they have made an arrangement to work together. Well, that guy has more divisions, we'll take more cavalry. Oh, there we go, the conflict has begun. So, Ma Zongnian and Ma Hassen have arrived as generals. We get some guns and we gain the fight for Xinjiang. And Qing wants to help us. Six more divisions are on the way. And Nasir has made his great escape. He has managed to break free and is on his way back. He will be back to rule us. Volunteers from Qing as well.

[00:03:27]Yeah, just beeline it to there cuz then we can probably get a defensive position going. He's back. The first reformer is back. Oh, East Turkestan showed up.

[00:03:36]Right, we dealt a weak blow to them actually, we just took out some of their divisions. Oh, they capitulated. Oh my days. Although, you have quite a lot of volunteers, which is concerning for us.

[00:03:44]Right, we do have an ice cream supplement on their divisions there. We can assassinate their ruler.

[00:04:03]Oh, wow, we can get cores in all Mongolia. Okay, we should probably go for them next. There we go. Victory in Xinjiang. And we have the reformer himself leading us. So, we've unlocked our military tree, and we can now go ahead and consolidate Xinjiang. We just can't do any of this stuff right yet.

[00:04:17]Let's consolidate our position. I'm not interested in Chinese integration. We'll definitely be doing autonomy in vogue, but let's go ahead and rebuild Xinjiang first. Our administration is spread thin. Yeah, cuz I'm thinking is cuz there's three different routes. So, I don't really want to do any of these. I just want to keep the Khanate. So, we'll we'll pick the choices that kind of balance it all out cuz they do have 141 days. I think we'll just try and have this all equal. And this gives her 150 political power. Yeah, I really want to start getting into these factories.

[00:04:45]That's all the good stuff. Right, they're all 80 right now. So, hopefully we'll just keep it that way for the last 40 days. Thankfully, we've managed to create a nice bit of unity. And we've had a nice wonderful feast. And the Khanate focus tree has now been unlocked. The Khanate is safe. No, Qing is getting quite strong from the looks of things. Not what I really want to see. All right, just got some more mills. What will be important now though is that we do actually get artillery.

[00:05:11]Okay, I think I've got what I needed to right now over here. So, let's do continuation of the Khanate now. Let's make a decision. All right, well, time for the constitutional market to take place. Problem is we'll probably change to social conservatives. Actually, that's exactly what happens at the end.

[00:05:23]So, maybe we won't exactly do that cuz then I won't be able to get my war goals on people. But, we'll definitely take some lessons from the Qing who have grown quite significantly. All right, we got some nice deliveries coming in of guns.

I was really I was really holding out. That is a horrific border we're going to have.

I don't really know what's happened, but the Belgrade Pact's quite strong. Fengtian government's going to have to Qing. Unfortunately, we're not in a position to do anything about that, so let's hope that war goes terribly for Qing. Right, no pressure.

[00:06:35]We need to do really well against Mongolia to make sure that we're actually able to try and take Beijing at least. You never know, maybe Qing will beat the Japanese.

[00:06:48]They only have 11 to 29 divisions. Let's get in. Let us commence the push. I think what's important is we try and cut off as many divisions as we can, cuz I think we we need more occupations.

[00:08:32]That'll be a decent amount of divisions getting killed off there. Oh, Austria just capitulated. Well, we'll be coming back for some big old revenge on Russia at some point in this series. Great, the fall of Berlin. That very rapidly just ended. Oh, well, we've pretty much lost all Mongolia. Yep, Russia's literally only at war with me. We are so screwed.
