People Stare WAY More Outside of Japan... // Back in Sweden!

[00:00:01]Did you guys know I'm from Stockholm? I haven't lived here since I was like 10 though. So I'm in like this weird in between place between tourist and local.

[00:00:08]Um it's very confusing for people cuz I speak Swedish, but like sometimes I don't understand what someone's saying or something or like sometimes like yesterday we ordering like a pizza and I was like how big is the pizza? And he's like it's normal sized. Like what do you mean it's normal sized? [laughter] >> I don't know what a normal pizza here is. And then I have to be like sorry I'm not from here. And then he's so confused cuz I speak Swedish. [laughter] So, >> anyone will be.

[00:00:29]>> Yeah. So, honestly, it's he probably went home like I met the craziest person today. And I'm also like I don't know, my mind is not awake. I feel like I'm totally jetlagged. We actually landed yesterday.

[00:00:39]But today, we're in the city. Most of the time when I'm in Sweden, I basically spend like almost the entire time just with my sister and her kids. And obviously, I'm not going to be filming like my sister's kids. That'd be crazy.

[00:00:50]So, I don't really have anything to film. But today, we're meeting Sabi and Hannah. And we're gonna do a little thrifting and we're gonna get the what was it? Princess cake ice cream.

[00:01:12]It's always so fun when you go to a different country and you get to experience like their specific kind of architecture. I do think the cars on the road kind of ruin it. There's not a lot of cars on the road, like parking on the road in Tokyo. I appreciate that. So Hannah messaged me. She said, "We are in the tea center of Stockholm." I said, "Are you describing it or is that the name?" And she's like, "That's the name." So now we are going to Oh my gosh, everyone looks at you so much in Europe. Okay. People don't really look at you like that in Japan. Am I just like Maybe I just don't notice. But yes, we're going to the tea center of Stockholm. Yas is like, "You're so out of it today." Honestly, yeah, I'm so out of it. I think it's the jet lag. I think I don't have like the energy.

[00:01:53]But here we are guys. Still got to make the most of our day otherwise. Why didn't we come to Stockholm?

I don't even necessarily think it's that people stare here more like look here more. I think it's that like they smile at you or like they talk to you and that's nice them. They're being nice but I'm so used to Tokyo where like you just don't interact with strangers like at all. I'm just so used to it that anything else makes me uncomfortable.

[00:02:24]You know, they always say like people in Stockholm are so cold or whatever. I'm sorry. They got nothing on Tokyo. And that's kind of what I like about Tokyo.

[00:02:31]But you know what? It's nice. They're trying to be nice. I just like I'm trying to like, you know, adjust to it with the jet lag and all. Oh, we're here. Well, we found them >> in the tea shop.
