Today, Thursday, and today's Friday, I think today is Friday, actually, and we're still here in North Dakota. We just left the hotel. They want to go to a Chinese buffet that doesn't open till 11:00. So, we had to kill some time. So, we went in Walmart, got Broly's milk we needed, and played some claw machines, and now it's wasted enough time that we can go to the Chinese buffet. So, we stayed in Bismar last night, North Dakota. And it's crazy cuz it's actually considered, according to Google, the second most populated city in the entire state. And it's so empty. It just really goes to show you how empty of a state North Dakota is.

[00:01:32]But it has been beautiful. And it's good to end it with a buffet. Even though I'm not a Chinese fan, they have American food. Everybody else likes Chinese except me. I'm the weirdo. All right.

[00:01:40]This is y'all's decision to go to the Chinese buffet. I'm just saying if I get sick, I'm blaming you. Okay.

I think I got the most boring uncultured plate you could possibly get at a Chinese buffet. Chicken wings, teriyaki chicken, and a donut. I don't think it gets more uncultured than that. Couldn't got a more true fortune. Let's go. Overly full bellies. And now we're going to begin the drive further west. We're staying in like one of the first cities you get in in Montana called Glendai. So, we don't have a long drive today. less than 3 hours, but we wanted to get somewhere early so that we can settle down cuz tomorrow is our 16 year anniversary. So, we're staying there 2 days so that, you know, be used to it and we can go do something tomorrow. That's the plan. We got 2 hours 41 minutes total today. And we actually switch into mountain time at some point, I think, according to the map pretty soon. So, hopefully it'll notify us so we can see when we get that hour back. We just passed into mountain time. Let's go. 1 hour regained.

[00:02:44]Traveling out west is cool cuz you keep getting free hours, but then when you go when we go back home and you go east and you constantly lose hours the whole time. It's like a I thought we were going to get there 4 and we actually get there at five and it's not as fun going back. We I just realized we don't hop off this road one time. 193 mi total.

[00:03:04]The lakes out this way are so beautiful.

[00:03:06]I realize especially Wisconsin, Minnesota, now North Dakota, they're so much cleaner looking. I feel like every body of water you see on the east coast looks like it's at least slightly radioactive and might kill you. But out here they look so clean. Anyone that's local to our area knows this. Like we grew up going to the Battoomeic River to fish, but you always know like if your hand touch that water, you're likely to grow another finger. If you fell in it, you'll never be the same person again.

[00:03:28]100% you're coming out with like an arm growing out of your back. It's just it's creepy looking. It's so nasty. It looks like the terrain starting to become a little bit more rugged the further west we go. I'm sure like according to the AI assistant, it said mid Montana is when it starts to get really mountainous, but it's already drastically changed from what we've been driving through. There's like literally nothing on this route, but we found a thrift store that looks kind of cool in a small town called Dickinson, North Dakota, and figured, hey, at least it's something to break up the drive and see if we can find any cool treasures. There's the Gon Flight statue from the Enchanted Highway, I'm assuming. It's pretty big. You don't really, it doesn't really do it justice here on this phone camera, but that thing is gigantic. I had to take a little break from editing this video because just the wide open views of North Dakota are beautiful right now.

[00:04:21]And all the snow's gone if you can't tell. Look at that. It's all gone. I feel like we only driven a few hours.

[00:04:26]There's none left. Man, it is nice out here. They said there was a scenic pulloff here. I mean, it is pretty, but I thought it was going to be like a higher up one. I'm used to the mountain ones, but that is still beautiful. Still beautiful. Just a random ball up on the side of the highway. But at least it's actually water now. It's not frozen over here anymore. Some local from North Dakota tell me what's up with the gigantic cow statue over there. It's kind of way out in the distance. But you can kind of see a giant cow in the mountain over there. Why? Guess what? We found a dinosaur museum where Oh, okay. I see the triceratops over there. The GPS made it look like it was that red building. I was like, that's a museum. Okay. But it's this one over here.

So, obviously this place during the summer, they say gets really busy, but then during the winter when months like this, it gets kind of empty and there's people that sell like jewelry, rocks in there for the nonprofit to raise money for the museum. And well, we got to talking about the sales. And long story short, let's just say I planned on going to a museum to take Broly in there. And I may have ended up spending a ridiculous amount of money buying a bunch of rocks, fossils, jewelry, and all kinds of cool things like that in there. And hopefully we help them out and maybe we can make a little bit of money, too. We'll see. I don't know. I spent a lot. But coming to a whatnot near you, lots of handmade jewelry right out North Dakota. A lot of cool stuff. A lot. So, be on the lookout for whatnot. It's really good. Maybe when we get to a hotel, I can kind of show you what we got. But it it was a lot of stuff, but we spent way more than I thought. I thought we were going to spend $20 in this museum. Let's just say it didn't work like that. That is the definition of where the road takes you.

[00:08:29]We didn't even plan on finding that museum. We didn't even know it was here.

[00:08:32]We just happened to see it. And what turned into, let's stop at a thrift store that sucked, by the way. We didn't find anything. We ended up going to a museum. Broly enjoyed. He got toys and we ended up buying a bunch of stuff to resell. So, that's how the road takes us. I can't tell if that's something on fire up here off in the distance. A lot of smoke, but it's like light smoke. So, usually fires are dark smoke. I guess we'll see as we get closer. Look at this. There has to be some type of like controlled fire cuz there's no like fire trucks or anything like that over there.

[00:09:05]Interesting. Look at this. I guess this is what they refer to as the bad lands.

[00:09:08]Not really mountains, but just rugged lands. It looks beautiful though.

[00:09:15]Look at that up there. Now we're starting to get to a really different scenery. I can't wait till we actually start to hit the Rocky Mountains in Montana probably next week. But that's beautiful. Look at that.

[00:09:33]Oh, like I said a few minutes ago, I really can't wait to start to see the Rockies in next week. Some bison out there, guys. There's one. I just saw too. There's another one. Okay, now we're starting to see. We just saw a turkey on the other side, too. It seems like as soon as the landscape changed, all the animals started popping up. We are in like postcard territory right now. I just love looking at this scenery, man. It reminds me of like Wyoming, I guess. You know, Montana, Wyoming, and parts of North Dakota are all pretty close by. But oh, I'm excited now. Like I said, once it starts changing, I get excited. I love looking at like the mountains and landscape more than just about anything else. There it is, guys.

The bowling alley has 3D printed Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan Blue, Vegeta, Super Saiyan Goku, and Kid Buu, and Paw Patrol for Broly. You know, I'm getting all of them.

We ate at 11:00 and now it's already 5 something.

[00:14:40]So, everybody's a little hungry. This place looks amazing. Oh my gosh. I think I got to get the Western burger, but on crispy chicken. I'm going to mix it up.

[00:14:48]Crispy chicken meat, but the bacon, barbecue, and onion rings. I think this is actually the biggest chicken sandwich I've ever gotten. I should have took a picture before I bid it. Look at this club. My gosh, this place is amazing. We made it so we can be chilling at the Holiday Inn. Everyone knows that song, right? Everybody knows it. It's a wall one. Uh, we made it to the Holiday in at Glendive. I was, for some reason, I keep wanting to say Arizona. I don't know why. Is there a Glendive Arizona? Why do I keep wanting to say that? But Glendive, Montana, I want to see you do a flip.
