The Ghadar Party, a revolutionary organization founded on April 21, 1913, emerged from the Indian diaspora in America, with its first issue of 'Ghadar' newspaper published on November 1, 1913. Kartar Singh Sarabha, a Punjabi revolutionary who studied at UC Berkeley, became a key figure in this movement. Despite being called 'the most dangerous rebel' by a judge and facing execution on November 16, 1915, Sarabha remained committed to the cause, even singing his own Punjabi revolutionary songs while walking to the gallows. His story exemplifies the sacrifice and dedication of early Indian freedom fighters who organized from abroad to challenge colonial rule.
