Soldered or threaded behind your hose bib...?

[00:00:00]If you replace your hose bib with one of these, you are screwed. And that's unless you ask for a threaded iron pipe behind your hose bib because most of them are going to come soldered like that. That means if you turn this, this is going to break, water comes spraying out. Now, that's not a concern on this house because behind it is a crawl space where they'll have access for the life of their home. So, if you're building a house, make sure you ask for threaded iron pipe on your hose bib so that you can easily replace these hose bib heads.
