Um, that's what apparently it's called stroking the gavvel when you when you knock it like that. Um, but anyway, enough stop. You know, we digress. What is Crafts Under the Hammer? I don't know what grits are, but they sound interesting, don't they? Um, that's what they'll be having out ahead of, of course, um the first day of uh of the second installment of Crafty Ganza over in Texas. [00:04:07]Maybe you are at Craftaganza right now watching from the breakfast buffet. Do you know there are very few places in the world or very few things in life I love more than a breakfast buffet.

[00:04:21]I think that like when you go on holiday going on holiday selecting the hotel basically I do based on the um perceived strength of the breakfast buffet.

[00:04:32]I think with a breakfast buffet it needs to be many many there needs to be many goes. So there needs to be like a little a pre-plate first and that can be many things. So that can be you know when they have those gorgeous little glass jars of yogurts like one of those maybe some some fruits or some something like snacky maybe even a little bit of granola with the yogurt that's like your preplate um if you're somewhere really fancy. Then it would be an eggs round for me. So it' be some sort of eggs on toast and it's just eggs on toast usually fried eggs on on toast. Then after that, we'd go for a bit more of a a wider breakfast variety. We'd maybe go a bit exotic. We might have some sausage if there's some sausage there. Um, and that bit. So, we're on like what, plate three now. There's quite a lot going on at this breakfast buffet. And then the final round would be like maybe some waffles, pastry maybe. Um, yeah, that's the perfect setup. That's That's the perfect setup for me. I spend most of my time before I go on holiday researching what the breakfast buffet is going to be like at the hotels that I'm going to. I do just spend most of my time pre-h holiday looking at other people's Tik Toks of the breakfast buffet deciding what I'm going to have. [snorts] Anyway, that is how you kill four and a half minutes talking about breakfast buffets.

Um and it was basically this very small shop where a man buys recycled fabrics and then turns them into shirts. So, this was probably a bedspread or a pair of curtains in someone's house somewhere in Denmark and then got reworked. And you can tell because it's all like faded in random places like um yeah, so it's quite cool.

[00:06:34]Um thank you. Um right, should we crack on then? I guess we've waffled on for long enough. Let's have our first lot, shall we? What is our first lot? I hear you ask.

[00:06:45]It is this. Now, if you have got a Gemini 2, you need to make sure you have got a hold of this because uh this is uh only available in the UK at the moment.

[00:06:58]So, these are basically a system that you're going to screw into for the base of your Gemini 2. Oh, you even get a screwdriver as well. That's handy, isn't it? So, there's the holes uh that you're going to need to screw it into. And then basically this here, Should we open it up? Let's open it up and show you.

[00:07:17]I'll try not to lose the screws. This here is then basically your little turntable section. And then that will and it's really great quality. You can see all the ball bearings in there. Very well greased as well, those ball bearings. Um, which will allow your Gemini to to spin. And also the great thing about this is it's an official Gemini Crafters Companion Gemini product. So, you know that it has been built and designed specifically for your Gemini 2. Wonderful if you've got a smaller crafting area. Um, you know, you could turn the Gemini rather than to go around the back. Don't want to blow your back doors off like Debs does on hers from time to time. Um, she was telling us about that just before the show. You should have been here. Um, and it's just a really great accessory to have and allows you to get the absolute most out of your Gemini. So £639 if you are in the UK. It's only available in the UK. £511 uh if you are in if you're on uh a platinum member. It is available in America, but for some reason it is not showing on the website. What do we think it should be in America?

[00:08:59]Let me just show you what it is. Cuz it doesn't look like there's that much in here, does it? You thinking, well, how much is in there? Now, this is amazing because the point of this is it is a store it all. So, it has a room, a box in here, a magazine holder, a document plate, a letter holder, a pencil holder, and a pen holder as well. But just take a look at what that translates to when this all folds out. So, you can see you've got your bin here, which is going to allow you to put your glue sticks in there. I thought they were really I thought they were really big Q-tips for a moment or cotton b c cotton cotton we call them cotton buds here in the UK.

[00:09:39]Then if we have a little look at the drawer look not just a little drawer absolute mammoth's amount of 12 x 12 you can store in there. Then you've got this, which I love, which is kind of like a little um it slides out. So, it's like a little um container or a little wallet maybe for scissors, for your fine liners, for some pens. Maybe you're just going to take a few um coloring items on the go. You can do that. So, you've got that included there. Then, you've got your magazine holder, we would call this. Now, we're calling this a magazine holder. However, it holds full 12x 12 paper pads for you. So, that's incredible. Box magazines are going to fit in there.

[00:10:18]um paper collections as well. We've got some alcohol marker card in there. We've got some smooth white card in there, too. So, again, absolutely loads that you can fit in there. Then you've got the um actual case itself that it all comes in. You can fill that full of 12 x 12 papers if you want to. You could use that as a 12 x 12 paper caddy if you needed to. Then you've got this, which is the organizer as well. So, this is really cool because [snorts] in here, this is designed for 6x sixes. However, plot twist, you can still fit a 12x12 in there as well. Then, we're not done yet.

[00:10:54]You've also then got this element here as well, which is again, this is not even half full. This has got 1, two, three, four, five, six by 12s in here.

[00:11:06]What I love about this is it's great quality as well, cuz can you see how everything is like metal edged? It's all metal rimmed as well, so it's going to really help to keep its shape, which is fantastic. So, just to recap what you're getting, you're getting the cube for your desk. You're getting the wallet, um the 12x12 drawer, the magazine holder, you're getting the storage caddy itself, the desktop organizer, and the 12 x 12 boxes as well. [00:16:47]Uh now let's try and get in the packaging for a start. Packaging has always been my nemesis. This is if you there's any item you don't want to drop on a show. It's definitely this one.

[00:16:58]Um now what I love about these is I'm going to risk opening it. Yeah.

[00:17:07]Uh, I'm just going to hold them up and just to show you. Basically, they are flatbacked. [snorts] Um, which is awesome. And I want to show you. So, they're flatbacked. So, it means that you can adhere them. So, whether you want to adhere them onto um clothing, you can absolutely do that.

[00:17:24]If you get yourself one of those little shuffle boxes as well, you know, that you you put them onto and they will shuffle go back the same way. You can do that. But you've got a different sizes in here as well. Can you see how small the smallest ones are?

[00:17:39]This is very gem mania. Um, and again, they are all still flatbacked and that's really important. So, it means that they will, if you've got one of those little organizers, like a gem or rhinestone organizer, you can put some of these into there and it will shuffle them all up the right way. Then, what you'll need to use is remember the little wax pen that we had on the show on Friday, I think it was, wasn't it? We had the wax the little wax um ended pens on the show on Friday. That's what you'll then use um to to pick them up. I'm not going to just wander off and go and have a look cuz that's that's bad TV and I can't um I can't see it from here. And whilst we're not strictly very professional here, I do feel like just wandering off to find a whack pencil. We have very loose standards, but even those are would be compromised with me just um what don't I think I might have inhaled one.

Uh what I want to quickly share with you, I just want to quickly run you through the colors that you've got um in here because you've got loads of different colors, loads of different sizes as well. Brilliant for embellishing card projects, scrapbook pages. Wonderful. If you wanted to use some tacky glue as well, you could tacky glue these onto things like garments if you wanted to. We wouldn't suggest that you um put them into the washing machine, but you've got in here greens, blues, yellows, wonderful sort of maves and magentas, almost maroons here.

So, yes, brilliant if you want to use this in that sort of, you know, vintage carnival um vibe, but definitely something that you're going to be able to use more ubiquitously uh across your uh crafting as well, I would say. There were we did so many launches and so many different designs on these because they were so cool because basically they cut in all they cut out and they cut over the edge of your card stock. So what you'll see here is how the die looks. So basically what you can do is you can have it connected there or you can just snip that out. So what you'll see there is what you then do is you you cut that through a piece of card and this is what you get. What people would also do then is multi cut these and have them sort of staggered and layered which is another great way um of doing it too. So uh with this one, this is your ditzy daisies that you've got just there is that price for both of them. Shut the front door.

[00:27:55]26° in Bucharest and sunny. On Sunday afternoon, I'm flying to Chisa now, which is in Moldova. 11 degrees, freezing cold, 14 degrees and heavy rain. I think I'd rather be here in the Costadidel County, Durham, to be honest. Uh, it's quite sunny out. I mean, it's still cold. It's still not quite warm enough. But how funny that in like Romania, it can be 20 something degrees and then you fly 40 minutes to the next country and it's like 11°.

[00:28:25]That is crazy. I'm actually off on my holidays this weekend which I'm very much looking forward to. I'm going to um Bucharest uh Chisel and then going to a autonomous region of Muldova called Transnistria um which may or may not be may or may not be against British advice traveling there, but we'll work that out. I'm doing it as an organized tour that bit.

[00:28:49]And then I'm taking a sleeper train from Chisau back to Bucharest. Uh, and then I'm doing a little drive around um Transylvania for a few days as well. Um, so that will be very, very fun. Going to eat lots of cabbage, I would imagine.

[00:29:04]Probably going to be quite windy while I'm there. Um, we were all thinking it.

[00:29:09]Look, no one has ever looked at a No one's ever looked at a stuffed cabbage and not thought I'll be paying for that later. Let's face it. Um, it is worth it. It's delicious. No. Do you know what I don't mind though is the little cartons of oat milk that they give you if you're on the train. Oat milkuch nicer if it's going to be out of a little carton than regular milk. There we are. Um but what we've got here again, yes, you can make these overly tea themed. You could do a bit of tea backing on there if you wanted to as well. Um you can actually sort of pair it back and make them a little bit more neutral too if you wish, which is wonderful. Let me share with you some of the bits that you're getting in here then. So, you are going to get a tea and coffee collection 12 by 12. I mean, it's not screaming tea and coffee, is it? Um, it's a really great sort of neutral uh stash builder as well. Now, these are so incredible. either just get a little bit of um uh double-sided tape, you know, like red liner tape, put these down onto it, burnish it over, and it gives you the most incredible um sort of gilded finish. Also, wonderful. Uh you can also use them if you've not got too intricate of stamps.

[00:51:37]Put sticky uh put tacky glue on your stamp or or um gilding glue on your stamp. Stamp it down so you get the fine line detail. Let it start to cure a little bit. Then go in with the gilding flakes as well. Even just tape runner.

[00:51:52]Just get tape runner and put it like strips of tape runner on a plain card surface. Maybe that's how we could maybe that's what we could do for Sara's card that I've got to make for her. Maybe we could use this. This could be the first item. I'm not putting this back. I'm going to keep this. This is the first item that we're going to use to create Sara's card. How about that? Um but yeah, really, really wonderful for those kind of things and just great when you just need a little bit of sparkle, a little bit of pizzazz uh to your projects. That pot will last you donkeyy's years. What I would definitely do with that is I decant that into a larger vessel um to say because it will sort of puff out a bit, which is wonderful.
