This guided meditation teaches the Stoic principle of focusing on what you can control—your thoughts, reactions, and attitude—while accepting what you cannot control, such as others' opinions and actions. The practice uses breathwork, body scanning, and compassionate reflection to help release self-judgment and cultivate inner peace, emphasizing that you are enough just as you are and that you have the power to choose how you think and feel.

Added:Hello lovely.
Welcome. Lauren here.
It's just lovely to have you here today in this moment.
Whether it's your morning, whether it is midday or as the sun is setting before sleep.
It is lovely to have you here.
Let's take a moment to focus on something quite profound.
Not fixing anything.
Not fixing anything at all.
Yes, today we are meditating about fixing life.
But the way we approach this is by starting from where we are now.
Starting from where you are now.
And that's okay.
Where we are now is perfectly okay.
You are okay.
As you come into this space, relax, release.
You will either be seated or lying down.
When you are comfortable, let's start.
Sit down or lie down comfortably.
When you're ready, we will begin.
Relax.
Release your body.
Allowing your body to have the journey it is having right now.
Allow it to be so.
Acceptance and compassion.
Begin by allowing yourself to accept your current situation.
Allowing what is to be just be.
It's important to understand that acceptance doesn't mean resignation or giving up.
Acceptance means recognizing where you are now without judgment, without judgment for others and without judgment for yourself.
Relax. Release your body. Head to toe.
face, shoulders, arms, legs, back, feet, hands, fingers, toes.
Recognize where you are now without judgment.
This is a practice. Sometimes recognizing where you are without judgment is easier and sometimes not. So that's okay. Allow the journey.
Embrace the notion that you are not defined by the opinions of others.
You're not.
Each person walks their own journey viewing life through the lens of their unique experiences.
We each have our own lens.
Allow yourself now to breathe deeply.
With each inhale, draw in acceptance.
With each exhale, let go of judgment.
Your judgment for others and any judgment which may be directed towards you.
Breathe deeply. With each inhale, draw in acceptance.
With each exhale, let go of judgment.
Remind yourself that you create your own lens.
Your life is shaped by your perceptions, thoughts, and feelings.
Continue to breathe now for several breaths, allowing the moment to embrace you.
tolerance and understanding.
Next, cultivate tolerance not just for others but for yourself.
Understand that everyone has struggles.
Everyone struggles.
And it's okay to have your struggles.
It's okay.
This is part of the human experience, part of your journey.
If you wish to do so, say to yourself, it's okay to struggle.
It's okay.
It is okay to struggle.
Relax. Release your body, your whole body, head to toe.
Now picture yourself surrounded by a warm light of tolerance.
This light symbolizes tolerance creates tolerance. Picture.
Imagine Feel this light enveloping you, bringing a sense of calm.
As we dive deeper into this journey, remember you are not the judgment of others.
You are more than their opinions.
You are a beautiful, beautiful tapestry woven from your experiences, dreams, and aspirations.
You are relax. Release your body. Head to toe, arms, legs, feet, hands, toes, fingers, shoulders, back. Relax. Release your body.
Spend several moments focusing on breath and relaxing your body in silence.
Stoic principles.
Let's gently gently integrate some stoic principles.
Stoism teaches us to focus on what we can control and to accept what we cannot control.
Reflect for several moments on what is within your control.
your thoughts, your reactions, and your attitude.
Now let go of what is beyond your control.
the actions and opinions of others that is beyond your control.
Reflect. Breathe. Relax your body deeply. Relax. allowing the journey of relaxation you have today.
Each journey, each meditation will be different and that's okay.
As you embrace these principles, visualize releasing burdens.
Burdens that do not belong to you.
Imagine these burdens floating away like leaves on a river, leaving you lighter and freer.
Free.
The behavior of others is not within your control.
The thoughts, perceptions of others is not within your control.
Your thoughts, your feelings, your beliefs, these are within your control.
Focus upon what you can control mindfully.
Release what you cannot control. It is okay.
It is okay.
Relax. Release your body. Your whole body. Head to toe.
Cognitive behavioral therapy encourages us to understand our thoughts and feelings without judgment.
Gently observe your thoughts.
Are they kind?
Are they compassionate?
What are your feelings, your thoughts?
Notice.
Notice without blame.
Notice without casting fault.
Notice without attachment.
Let them go. Let feelings, thoughts go and develop a sense of understanding and self-love.
self love for who you are.
We are beautiful with our flaws.
It is part of the human experience to make mistakes, to have flaws.
That is part of our journey and that is okay.
You have the power of reflection.
You have the power of change. And you have the power of selfacceptance.
You have the power of choice.
Choosing what to think. Choosing what to feel.
Shift your thinking.
Choice theory. Choose how to feel.
Choose what to think.
This is a practice.
Choosing your thoughts requires practice.
When we practice, we make mistakes.
That is learning.
We cannot learn without practice.
We cannot move forward without making mistakes.
It is okay. You are okay.
Relax. Release your body.
Relax. Release your body.
Now let's transition into a gentle body scan.
Move slowly, easily at a pace which suits you.
Begin at the top of your head. Notice any sensations.
Relax your scalp and forehead.
Move down to your shoulders.
Feel your shoulders drop gently away from your ears.
Continue down your arms. Each arm letting your arms rest.
upper arms, lower arms, hands, fingers.
Focus on your chest and your belly.
Breathe deeply.
Breathe deeply. Yet allow the pattern of breathing you have right now. It's okay.
Allow this practice to flow organically.
Take a deep breath, swelling your chest and releasing tension on the exhale.
Bring awareness to your back. Upper back, middle back, lower back. Breathe.
Allow your back to soften.
Move to your hips and thighs. Upper legs. Lower legs.
top of the legs, ankles, feet.
Feel the support beneath you.
Relax your legs. Scan down your legs.
Let each part relax, feeling grounded and steady.
Remind yourself you are human and you are okay.
Mindfully remind yourself, take a moment to simply be in this space, this beautiful space in this body, your body with this acceptance right now.
Each time we feel acceptance, it's going to be different.
And there is beauty in that experience.
Allow this moment of acceptance to be to be what it is.
You are not here to fix anything but to gently nurture yourself to care for yourself.
Part of this journey is accepting others.
Accept them for who they are.
Allow them to be who they are.
Relax. police.
Relax. Release.
Carry with you the understanding that you are enough just as you are.
You are enough.
Each day is a new opportunity to embrace life through your own lens.
filled with acceptance, compassion, and understanding.
Feel compassion for yourself.
Feel compassion for those around you.
Feel compassion for self, for those around you, for everybody.
Imagine for a moment that you are a hawk flying high.
Your compassion extends to the ground beneath you.
It is limitless. You fly high above, free. You feel compassion for those below.
There are no caveats to your compassion.
There are no conditions.
Your compassion is limitless.
You are freed through the experience of compassion.
Allow your brow to unfurrow through the profound experience of compassion.
Relax. Release your body.
face.
Head. Top of the head.

Jo cheeks, hips now. Gently, ever so gently, deepen the relaxation.
Deepen the relaxation at a pace which suits who you are intrinsically.
