[00:00:00]All right, people. The big news today, and it's got Tyson Fury in it, so it's always big. Tyson Fury, British heavyweight, I love the way they add that Sky Sports, announces August the first fight. Where, you might ask? Saudi Arabia, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Old Trafford in Dublin for warm-up before Anthony Joshua clash in November. Interestingly, Tyson Fury has teased a warm-up bout in Dublin on August the 1st. Fury is preparing to face Anthony Joshua, who will have a warm-up bout himself against Christian Pringana. I'm butchering it, I know. In Riad on July the 25th, so you're talking only a week apart, right?

[00:00:41]Joshua one week, Fury the next. They get a nice little plug of CBS's fight coming up in a week week. I think it's next week actually, his fight in Bournemouth.

[00:00:49]So Tyson Fury's warm-up fight with the opponent yet to be announced will take place before his much anticipated heavyweight clash against Anthony Joshua who will face the second best heavyweight in Albania. It doesn't say that but that's essentially what he's doing. The two-time heavyweight champion could be the main event on a bit could be Tyson Fury could be you know as if I love Pierce Ori but as if he's going to be the main attraction. He will be but they're going to come they're going to come for Pierce but stay for Tyson Fury. You know that's going to feature Pierce Olirri against Mark Chamberlain. Fury posted a video on Instagram Tuesday showing himself back training in Thailand. The caption was Let's Go August 1st Dublin Ireland.

[00:01:27]Fury's last fight was a comprehensive point win over Russia's Arcelbeck Makmunov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August or April the 11th. That was 13th the 11th. Makmov lasted the course but Fury won almost every round winning all uh 12 rounds on two scorecards and 119 109 on the other. So that is that is the end of the article. There's not much to give on that. Now right the fact that Tyson Fury is back trainer in Thailand and he had hinted now I know after he beat Magma he was saying stuff like you know oh it's AJ next and let AJ have his fight. So they announced AJ's comeback fight. We're going to have that in July in Saudi Arabia.

[00:02:11]For Fury to fight a week later, it does make a little bit of sense if you think about it because Joshua does the business. You would he wouldn't be there. You would imagine Fury anyway.

[00:02:20]Joshua does the business and then it's up to Tyson Fury. Joshua's in Dublin, Fury's in Dublin, Tree Arena. Boom.

[00:02:30]Number one, him fighting in Dublin does kind of make sense because if he's in the tree arena, that's Pierce Olirri's show. Pierce Olirri on the undercard.

[00:02:39]They'll come to see Tyson Fury. You can do it on pay-per-view. It's all under the Queensbury banner. Makes sense.

[00:02:46]Manchester to Dublin is nothing. Um I flew in this morning from Dublin or from London. It took me an hour. So it's it's a nothing flight. It literally is a nothing flight. Trey Arena is decent capacity as well. It can do 10,000 plus.

[00:02:59]So, it's again decent capacity. We like the tree arena, right? However, Katie Taylor has been talking about having a homecoming fight in Crow Park for a long time now. We don't really know where we are with that, but you would imagine Katie Taylor swansong fight is going to be sometime in the summer and it's going to be in Dublin. Now, Kay Taylor is obviously going to want that to be a showcase of Irish boxing. Not that there is many good Irish fighters, but AO currently active now anyway. But heyo, that's going to dilute that because you're going to have Katie Taylor. I would imagine Kacatche is going to be fighting on that Fury show if in fact he does fight in Dublin. You obviously Pierce Oiri, Adam Molana will probably fight on it. Um, who do you get? Like you Gary Cully, I know he's already said he's fighting on the August 1st show. So who are you going to get from Queensbury when you think about it? Like or who are you going to get like Matram don't have that many Irish fighters if any? I don't think they actually have any at all. Uh, so yeah, that that's a tricky one. So you're going to dilute Katy Taylor's homecoming and if you want it to be, you know, a celebration of Irish boxing. I mean, you're going to have to just have Katy Taylor as main and then just use the matchroom stable to fill up the card for Fury fighting a week apart from MJ again makes sense. Sell it. One fight one week, one fights the next. All eyes fixed on November, December, whoever it may be, whether it's in Wembley, whether it's in Saudi, doesn't matter. It's Fury AJ. The absolute red carpet. the world tour. It would be on and it would be fantastic. We all know that. Question then is is who would Fury face? Now AJ is facing the second best heavyweight in Albania. It's not exactly stellar opposition, but you will you will understand that AJ is coming at the back of a win over a YouTuber and then being in that devastating car accident, right?

[00:04:42]So you'll forgive him and obviously I'm not going to criticize him for this fight. I I understand where he's coming from. I understand that, you know, he's got a lot to come back from, not just, you know, the defeat to the Bu, the Jake Paul fight. He's got a lot to come back from after the car crash and everything.

[00:04:55]So, that's that's fine, right? With Fury, he's just fought Makmov. I mean, like, well, okay. I mean, Mmov on paper, he's a bit of a punch, but, you know, he's fairly limited. You know, he went the distance with Dave Allen. He lost rounds. He had a little bit of a wobble in round nine. Look what Philip Perkovich did to Dave Allen, you know. So the question then is who would Fury face? We have been hearing talk of an exhibition with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Really?

[00:05:25]I mean really we don't want that. If he's going to fight someone at least fight someone meaningful, someone live you know something like that. So that's the situation. I'm really struggling to think who they would match Fury with.

[00:05:39]We're hearing Andy Ruiz and listen, Andy Ruiz would make sense because I know people are going to say, "Oh, you know, you don't want to take Andy Ruiz, I think, is a risk worth taking because Ruiz is basically a money fighter now.

[00:05:51]He hasn't had a good performance in seven years." I mean, we're coming up on the seven year we It's crazy. We are literally coming up on the seven-year anniversary of his upset win over Anthony Joshua. He looked good that night.

[00:06:04]Seven years, people. He fought AJ in December. Didn't look good. He fought Chris Aliri. What? A year, 18 months later. Didn't look good. He then fought Luis Ortiz a further year later. Didn't look good. Two years later, he goes and fights Jerrell Miller. Doesn't look good. Although he did break his hand badly in that fight early on, right? And now he's not fought since. I'm just trying to think. He fight AJ, AJ, Areola, Ortiz, and Miller. That's crazy. Five fights in seven years. Unless I'm not missing anybody.

[00:06:37]That's bad. That's That's bad form. And he hasn't looked good in any. He's desperate for the money. Does not live the cleanest life at all. I mean, yeah, the more I think about it. Yeah, that makes sense. Ruiz Fury in Dublin. That would be pretty good, wouldn't it? That would be pretty good, wouldn't that be?
