Julio Foolio Killer SENTENCED…15 Years For Her Role In The Murder

[00:00:00]We back with another one, man. And um Alicia Andrews, uh the last killer from the Julio Fulio case. You know, she was the first one to go on trial, but she was the last one to get sentenced cuz it was a bunch of motions filed around her trial or whatever.

[00:00:20]So, we going to see what happened to her today, man. This Julio Foolio Mama talk, man. Let's get right into it. Make sure y'all hit that subscribe button. Make sure y'all hit that uh hype button >> to his death. Whether she pulled the trigger or not, my son would still be alive today had people not participated in carrying out this plan.

[00:00:45]A mother lives with instinct and intuition. And mine tells me that this was not ignorance. This was participation. It was calculated. They planned it. on my way driving here.

[00:00:57]Every second, every minute, every hour, they could have changed their mind. They could have turned around. But yet and still, they carry on the plan to hunt my son down like a deer in the woods like they were hunting.

[00:01:15]This was loyalty to violence over humanity. My son was treated like his life did not matter. He was ambushed and robbed of the chance to grow older, become a father one day, continue his career, and simply live. Every birthday, holiday, and family gathering is now filled with grief. I replay the memories of my son constantly. I think about his laugh, his voice, and the moments we will never get back. The trauma from his this loss follows me every single day.

[00:01:45]No sentence will ever bring Charles right to me, but accountability matters.

[00:01:50]Alicia family can can see her. They can talk to her. She can see her child. But I can't. Yeah, she prep for this. It look like she reading off a paper or something. Me, I would have been in there totally different. I don't need no paper or nothing. I need y'all to fry this. You know what I'm saying? And why y'all let it go get the baby too, man?

[00:02:11]We We ain't forgot the baby was on the hit, too. see my child, I have to go to visit him in a wall at the cemetery.

[00:02:20]I ask this court to remember that behind every headline is a real family suffering permanent damage.

[00:02:28]My son life mattered. He was not disposable. The emotional devastation caused by this murder reaches far beyond the courtroom and will affect my life forever. I respectfully asked the court to impose a sentence that reflect the seriousness of the role Alicia Andrew played in the events that led to my son's death because she knowingly knew what was going on. Choices were made and those choices had deadly consequences.

[00:03:25]>> Well, there go Miss Trench Ball. Y'all know it's over with when you see her call.

[00:03:29]>> All right. Um and the defense not not intending to call any witnesses. Is that correct?

[00:03:34]>> That's correct.

[00:03:35]>> All right. Um, so I'll let the state present arguments with respect to the recommendation for sentencing.

[00:03:39]>> Yes, your honor. We did um also receive the defense motion to take judicial notice where they listed I think eight different cases.

[00:03:48]>> Cameraman drunk again.

[00:03:49]>> I saw that filed in the court file just for the record May 8th of 2026.

[00:03:54]>> And judge, I noticed that they were either manslaughter cases or leaving the scene of death. However, upon reviewing them, um, we did note that they are clearly distinguishable from the facts of this case. The majority of them were negotiated please and had reasons for a downward departure. Some of them were um that was the only reason was a negotiated plea. Um, others were mental disorder or unsophisticated manner, isolated incident. And judge, we would argue that those are completely separate and distinct from the facts that you have in front of you, judge. Um, this case was um originally filed as a murder, too. The jury has spoken and we respect the jury's verdict. They have found her guilty of a manslaughter. Um, but still, the facts of this case are egregious. We are talking about a person who was hunted down. um the people that actually pulled the trigger, they are going to be um sentenced later and held responsible for that. But what we're asking the court to do is to give this defendant accountability for her participation in this crime. And we are going to be asking for um she scores at bottom of the guidelines 9 years um prison, Florida to state prison. And we're going to be asking for a 15-year prison sentence based on this.

[00:05:19]15 years.

[00:05:22]>> Serious nature of this of this particular case and the way that it was um conducted and carried out and also based on the mother of the victim in this case also wanting a serious sentence reflective of the facts and nature of this particular case. Judge.

[00:05:42]>> All right. Thank you defense.

[00:05:45]>> Yes. Thank you, judge. So, we are asking the court not to give a 15-ear sentence in this case. We're asking the court actually to depart.

[00:05:51]>> That man still got a bad haircut and a bad suit. I see some things don't never change.

[00:05:57]>> Downward under 921.26 section 2 B judge. And that section specifically states the defendant was an accomplice to the offense and was a relatively minor participant in the criminal conduct. We believe that applies here.

[00:06:16]We also believe there are some other subsections that apply, but that one in particular um just based off of the jury's verdict in this case where there are four other codefendants who were uh convicted of higher much higher offenses that were >> it's really five if you count the baby.

[00:06:32]>> After facing the death penalty, the state recognizes that there was a difference between those codefendants and Miss Andrews and the fact that they were convicted and are likely to be sentenced or will be sentenced to life in this case. Um, Miss Andrews's goal after having read all the transcripts and gone to the trial is very much minor when compared to those codefendants um, in this case. So, we're asking the court to go below the guidelines. The reason why I cited or filed a motion to take judicial notice of the eight cases that I did send over to the court is not because those cases are mirror images of this case. This case is probably a unicorn. I'm not based off of the motions that we filed, right? the motions for new trial and motions for reconsideration. Judge, we obviously believe that the facts of this case don't amount to a manslaughter charge.

[00:07:20]There was no manslaughter here at all in this in this case. Uh and that was argued out in the motion and so I won't go over that. But this case to find another case that's exactly like it was not really our intent, but we don't know that that would actually fair it out. Uh but that's not really our intent. The intent of filing motion judicial notice of these eight cases is to see a range of different sentences for people who've been convicted of either manslaughter or some sort of act that resulted in a death that wasn't an intentional act. Um and so all of those cases uh if we go down the list right state of Florida versus Vandal Steedman u that individual received seven years in the department of corrections followed by eight years of probation. He scored exactly the same amount of total sentencing points as Miss Andrews. And in that instance, he uh made a statement, a spontaneous statement at the scene to officers that he shot him. I shot him is what were his words, right? Um in a situation like that, that's more obviously more egregious than any acts that Miss Andrews is accused of of doing or committing. Um, going down the line, uh, Francisco Veo, uh, the state of Florida, that was a 2000 case. In that situation, the victim was, uh, shot numerous times outside of a trailer park and was initially the the defendant was initially charged with seconddegree murder. He fled down to manslaughter. He received a 5-year sentence in the Department of Corrections. He had the same amount of uh, total sentencing points as Alicia Andrew at 176. There are people who had even more total sentencing points. uh Michelle Diane Young, uh that's the third case cited there. That individual had 180.2 total sentencing points, received a 5year sentence in the Department of Corrections, followed by 10 years of probation. And all of these individuals that I list and and I won't go through each one, but >> now I give it to him. He might be absolutely right, but I don't think the judge going to care about none of that.

[00:09:16]>> It's all attached to the uh to the motion to notice, all of their score sheets, all of their u arrest affidavit, the judgment and sentences. All these individuals, none of them got 15 years sentences. The state is asking for the max on someone who's never been convicted of anything before in her life. Um, this is her first offense and for for reasons that are cited in the motions, the respon the replies. Miss Andrews will be taking an appeal on the case under on the jury decision and the um the rulings that were made in the trial, right? And so she does intend to uh have a new trial if the applet court grants her. So she's not testifying here today and no one else knew the witnesses are testifying here today for that reason. So we're asking the court not to take into account the fact that Miss Andrews is not on the stand testifying or or uh or that her parents are not on the stand testifying on her behalf. And we're asking the court to depart below the guidelines to give her a credit.

[00:10:19]Even if you is going to do a pill, you know, my life is on the line. They talking about some some time here. You know what I'm saying? I'm still going to have somebody come in there and talk for me or something. You know what I'm saying? We ain't going to wait till the appeal trying to get this time cut right now.

[00:10:39]>> And uh followed by 5 years of probation.

[00:10:43]>> Any anything else from any uh either side before I impose sentence?

[00:10:46]>> No, your honor.

[00:10:47]>> No, judge.

[00:10:47]>> All right. All right. Right. So, the court having um obviously reviewed the uh trial transcripts, the court file, uh all the evidence in this case, the pre-sentence investigation report, um the argument of counsel is the judgment sentenced and ordered this court to adjudicate the defendant guilty, sentence her to 15 years in the Florida State Prison.

[00:11:06]>> Damn, the judge don't think she that cute.

[00:11:11]THAT'S WHAT IT IS. ALL THAT cute and winking and blinking your eye and there all these 50 60 year old man glazing over her. Oh, she cute. She this, see she that. The judge don't feel like that. The judge say, "Look, I went over everything and I feel like she deserved 15 years."

[00:11:30]>> You have 30 days to appeal the judgment and sentence. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to represent you. You all let me know when you're ready on Cassell, please. Okay.

[00:12:25]>> So, look, man. I ain't going to lie to y'all. And like I said, I know a lot of y'all keep saying, "Well, Buddha, why you want the baby locked up?" It's real simple. Y'all see DaVon Murphy and Rashad Murphy, they dead. is in there doing time for murders. You see what I'm saying? And they kept the tradition going. I don't want this little baby to grow up with a chip on his shoulder. The daddy gone, the mama gone. You know what I'm saying? He or she'll be the next one around terrorizing Jacksonville. You know what I'm saying? Now, I don't know if she got a Yin or a baby bop. Either way, if she got a baby bop, you know, she going to be the setup queen just like her mama. You know what I'm saying?

[00:13:02]if she got a Y in he going to be around here setting up people trying to get people took out just like his daddy. You know what I'm saying? So my whole thing is since the baby already got hit experience since the baby was on the hit with them, lock that baby up or Jacksonville going to get terrorized and then years down the line later we going to be talking about, oh man, your daddy got life. Oh man, your mama had got 15 years and then everybody going to be like, "Man, Buddha said y'all should have locked that baby up." See, that's what I'm saying. Don't nobody listen to me until it's too late. Then that's when everybody want to listen to me. But she got 15 years, man. I mean, you know, it is what it is, man. That should go to show y'all. But at the same time, she still got off light. She could have got life with the rest of them. But 15, you know, it ain't bad. Like they said, it's her first affair. She want a pill. She want to try to get some of the time cut down. She getting some programs or something. If they got that in Florida, I don't know. Get her time cut. And you know, she at least she knows one day she'll be back home. You know what I'm saying?

[00:14:15]Them dudes that got life, ain't none of them coming home. It's over with for them. They they cook. Unless Florida law change somewhere down the line. But if it don't, they f to spend the rest of their life in jail.
