Being arrested for recording in public spaces when no crime has been committed can be considered a civil rights violation. As the First Amendment protects the right to gather information, including through recording. If it is visible from a public space, then the recording is protected under the First Amendment's freedom of speech and press. In the following clips, the cops create something out of nothing. Whether it's ego or just plain ignorance of the law, they live up to that old saying that there is no situation so bad that a cop can't make worse. Let's watch.
