New data from the DESI observatory reveals conflicts in our current models of universe expansion, suggesting that dark energy and dark matter may require new physics to explain, potentially leading to a merger of relativity and quantum mechanics that could revolutionize our understanding of the universe.

Dark Matter & Dark Energy Are Breaking the Laws of Physics — Here's Why That's ExcitingAjouté :
Dark energy, dark matter.
These are the topics of this week's podcast on the Spanish public radio service Hombros de Gigantes.
This podcast is absolutely delicious.
I was listening to this podcast today during my 15, a little bit more than 15 km long run, very easy.
And I really enjoyed it.
Why is it so important dark energy, dark matter?
Well, it seems that the new experiments carried out by the observatory DESI apparently show that there are some conflicts on the on the model that describes how the universe is expanding.
It seems that there are things that don't match each other and maybe we need a new physics to explain what is going on.
That's extremely important because this is how science evolves. We need observations.
Unfortunately, we cannot carry out experiments to see how the universe is expanding.
That's why we need to use supercomputers like Mare Nostrum in Spain, supercomputing centers that can simulate those conditions.
I'm pretty sure the coming years will develop a lot these theories. Cosmology will evolve a lot as well as physics and probably the physical theories that we consider today as absolutely unquestionable will be questioned in the coming years.
Who knows? Maybe relativity, maybe quantum mechanics will merge and will give birth to absolutely a new way to understand how the universe works.
That's why science is so important and this is why this is how science evolves. Always question.
Question everything all the time.
That's all for today. Enjoy the weekend.
Bye-bye.
