[00:00:12]As I speak to you now, you may have been trying to fix things that are bigger than your strength.

[00:00:21]And maybe somewhere somehow it it's straining you.

[00:00:26]But Psalm 46:10, God doesn't tell you to fight harder.

[00:00:35]God doesn't tell you to fight alone.

[00:00:39]God says be still. Hallelujah. He says be still.

[00:00:46]Not because nothing is happening, but because he's still in control even when you can't see it.

[00:00:55]I keep talking about this that often times we want to be certain about God's presence in our lives only when we can see it. Sometimes you don't see it. So even when you don't see it, it doesn't mean nothing is happening. Something is happening.

[00:01:16]So right now, God is calling you out of anxiety.

[00:01:20]God is calling you out of fear. God is calling you out of worry.

[00:01:26]God is calling you into trust.

[00:01:31]God is calling you into more faith.

[00:01:36]So [snorts] in this sermon that is going to be short, I ask you to listen carefully because this is what it means when God says, "Be still and know that I am God."

[00:01:54]Father, we thank you for this wonderful moment where you have gathered us here once again. We know you've brought us here for a purpose and the purpose is to listen to your word that is going to make our day better. That is going to make this day the best day for us. [00:03:12]This message does not mean you are in a situation where everything is perfect.

[00:03:20]This message does not signify a God who says everything is all right.

[00:03:28]Everything is okay. Everything is a bed of roses. This word is a reminder that God knows that things are not okay, that things are not easy, that there is some situation that is making you feel too much stress.

[00:03:49]And God is saying, "Be still and know that I'm God." Often times when people read this scripture, when people read or hear about this verse, most people misunderstand what exactly it means.

[00:04:06]It says, "Be still." That is the first important point. That's the first important line that you need to know, my sister. That you need to understand, my brother.

[00:04:19]You are in a position where you are overthinking.

[00:04:24]You are in a situation where you are worrying.

[00:04:29]You are in a situation where your fears are more than your faith.

[00:04:34]You are in a situation whereby you're very stressed out completely.

[00:04:40]Something is stressing you out.

[00:04:44]Listen my brother. Listen my sister, be still means, trust, be strong, stay calm, stay focused. The word of God is speaking to us today because it's meant for us.

[00:05:05]There are millions of YouTube people, subscribers and nonsubscribers. People are right now very busy scrolling video after video.

[00:05:18]Why are you here?

[00:05:20]Ask yourself that question.

[00:05:24]Why is it that you're the one who is listening to brother Mugabi?

[00:05:29]The reason you're listening to me is God's purpose.

[00:05:34]God has brought you on this live stream to listen to me in these few minutes because God wants to do something in your life. Not tomorrow, not yesterday, not later today, but now.

[00:05:50]Hallelujah.

[00:05:52]So stop overthinking. That's what the word is saying. Be still. It means stop overthinking.

[00:05:59]Be still. Do not worry.

[00:06:03]Be still. Do not stress out.

[00:06:07]Be still. Focus on now. And God who is with you.

[00:06:15]When the word is saying be still, God is speaking to you and me right now. He's speaking to us saying learn to focus on me.

[00:06:28]God is saying rest [clears throat] in me today.

[00:06:33]When you are stressed, you understand.

[00:06:37]We all know that when you are overthinking, when you are stressing out, when you are full of fear, when worry is taking its toll on your life, when you are very stressed out, there is no peace in your heart.

[00:06:54]There is no clarity in your mind.

[00:06:57]Everything is just messed up.

[00:07:01]A day can bring a situation where you feel you are helpless.

[00:07:08]Sometimes we will try to make calls and contacts on some people and they can't be of help.

[00:07:15]You will be in a situation whereby even the people you thought they are going to help you out today, they are going to bail you out today, they are not responding.

[00:07:29]Now God says be still. Psalm 46:E10 God says be still. That means it is not easy but be still.

[00:07:43]Don't be shaken. That's what God is saying. Don't be shaken.

[00:07:49]Yes, the situation is not come [clears throat] but don't be shaken. Be still.

[00:07:57]Yes, things are not working out as you expected. Maybe you have just started your day right now. Maybe you're already in the middle of your day. Maybe wherever you are in this world, that part of the world, it's already evening.

[00:08:11]The day is ending and you are somehow seeing that what you expected did not work out. Listen, God says be still.

[00:08:23]That is number one.

[00:08:25]The first thing God is saying before you see things physically, before you can see manifestations physically, God is saying the first thing to do, be still.

[00:08:43]Be still.

[00:08:47]Still in what?

[00:08:49]Be still in your faith.

[00:08:54]Be still in your faith.

[00:08:58]And now the last part of this line says and know that I am God.

[00:09:06]Now there is a purpose why God reminds us that no for you sister Dora you have been always here with uh with us in these teachings.

[00:09:20]There is one of our sisters these days.

[00:09:23]I don't see her. I hope she's fine.

[00:09:25]Wherever she is, she's called Sister Rachel.

[00:09:29]She's down there in in the United Kingdom. She's in in England.

[00:09:35]For those of you have always been here, we talk about knowing God. The word know.

[00:09:42]The word know, the Bible uses it even when it is talking about a man and a woman meeting.

[00:09:51]For example, you will hear that Adam knew h knew Eve or you will hear that Abraham knew Sarah. You will hear that Mary and Joseph that Joseph did not know Mary. It does not mean that they didn't know physically. It means they did not meet.

[00:10:13]So when the word of God is saying no, it is talking about union, it is talking about togetherness. It is talking about coming together. Now when God is saying be still and know that I'm God, glory be to God. Be still and know that I'm God. It means be still and get in a relationship with me. Be still and get in union with me. Be still and get in partnership with me. Be still and get joined to me.

[00:11:02]Knowing brings awareness.

[00:11:06]Knowing means revelation. Knowing means manifestation.

[00:11:12]Knowing means confirmation.

[00:11:15]Knowing means knowledge that now I know eyes are opened.

[00:11:22]Whenever we get in situations of stress, you know, of worry and all that those challenges and the struggles of life, we lose sight.

[00:11:33]That's what situations first do to us.

[00:11:36]We lose sight. Whenever we get in situations, whenever we get circumstances around us, the first thing it does is to take away your sight.

[00:11:50]Well, how how how does it take away the sight? It takes you away from God.

[00:11:57]Your eyes start seeing what is happening.

[00:12:03]Hallelujah. Your eyes start seeing what is happening. And the moment your eyes are connected or are focused on what is happening, then you get in union. You get in partnership with what is happening.

[00:12:21]I believe this is going to help you. I hope somebody gets to understand this because it's very important. May the Holy Spirit help you to understand it.

[00:12:32]That the moment your eyes are seeing what is going on around you, the moment your eyes are focused on the circumstances, the moment your eyes whatever you put your eyes on, you get in union with it. If you want to understand this properly is that for example when you go uh you are on the streets you know you're moving you're walking on the street or you're driving or whatever when you look at something you get attracted to it start thinking about it start you know evaluating it start making sense of it because you saw it with your two eyes.

[00:13:23]So the eyes lead your heart to go into a relationship with what they what they have seen.

[00:13:35]Does that make sense? I hope it does.

[00:13:37]That the eyes start a relationship.

[00:13:44]The eyes initiate a union, a relationship with what it has seen.

[00:13:52]Now that means that that process the Bible calls it knowing.

[00:13:59]That's why when you see something then you know it because there is what happened after seeing after seeing something after your eyes have seen something you get in union with it you get in a relationship with it you get connected to it. So the Bible says you have known it.

[00:14:24]It's very deep. This is very deep. I hope somebody's getting it. This is very deep. That when you see something, you get into it and that's how you know it.

[00:14:35]So that's the language of the Bible to know. To know you get into a relationship. You get into a connection.

[00:14:44]Hallelujah. So when God is saying to you, when God is saying to us today, be still and know that I am God.

[00:14:57]The Bible is trying to show us, God is telling us today, now be still and get in a relationship, get in union with me, and I am God. Now I am God implies you are getting in a relationship. You are getting in union with the Almighty.

[00:15:27]When God says and know that I am God, it means forget about what is stressing you. Forget about the circumstances.

[00:15:38]Forget about that problem. Forget about that challenge.

[00:15:43]Forget about that person who is stressing you. Forget about whatever that was worrying you. Know that I am God. Now when you get to know God, then you start understanding that there is nothing else that is greater that is above him.

[00:16:05]So you get in a a relationship with God.

[00:16:10]you get in in in in union with God. Now, that changes everything. That's how it changes everything. I see Sister Rachel is here with us today. Uh thank you for joining us, Sister Rachel from England.

[00:16:27]Um I hope you're doing well.

[00:16:30]Glory be to God. So what changes everything is what you are joined to.

[00:16:42]That's why I always tell people your relationships matter.

[00:16:49]Even the word of God shows us that our relationships, who we talk to, who we deal with, who we walk with, it matters.

[00:17:00]Who is who are you joined to?

[00:17:04]Who are you related to? Who do you work with?

[00:17:09]Matters. Now God is inviting us today.

[00:17:12]God is saying to you and me. God's message is simple. He's saying be still.

[00:17:20]Be still and know that I'm God.

[00:17:24]Hallelujah. Glory be to God. We are going to have a short prayer before we conclude.

[00:17:30]to to to go in union, to enter a relationship, to enter uh that uh that contact with God, that togetherness to to join with God and say I am with you. Now, whenever you are joined to God, whenever you are joined to God, whenever you are working with God and walking with God, everything changes.

[00:17:58]Hallelujah. Everything must change.

[00:18:03]Everything must change. You can't be joined with God. You can't be working with God and walking with God and in partnership with God and things remain the same.

[00:18:17]Because do you know what changes fast?

[00:18:24]Your mindset changes fast.

[00:18:28]That's what changes fast the moment you are in a partnership with God. That's why you see in businesses for example we talk about partnership. I have a partnership with so and so we make partnerships with companies.

[00:18:49]Why? I I I trust that when I go in a partnership with this company things will go right. If I go in a partnership with this company, if I buy shares in this company, my money will not be wasted. My money will not go wrong because in this company, I trust this company. It is a a a rep it has a good reputation. It it it is a a a company that is worth my money.

[00:19:17]So I invest there my money or I work with that company. We go in a partnership. Hallelujah. So the partnership we are talking about, God is inviting us into a partnership with him that you can rely on him, that you can invest him your faith, you can invest in him your time, you can invest in him your everything and know that he is God.

[00:19:39]Hallelujah. He says, "Invest your time in me. Invest your money in me. Invest your life in me. Invest your thoughts in me. Invest your everything in me and know that I am God." Now when God is reminding us to know that he is God, it must be very serious. When God's message is reminding us on this specific day that we must know that he's God, he's like telling you why are you so concerned about other things yet I am God. So why don't you get to know me?

[00:20:16]It is also a humble reminder for somebody that is listening to me now.

[00:20:23]Maybe God is reminding you to start getting back to know him. Maybe you are lost.

[00:20:31]Maybe you're lost.

[00:20:35]When you're lost, the problem is here.

[00:20:39]This is the first significance of someone who is lost. How do you get to know your lost here?

[00:20:47]What do you think about?

[00:20:50]How do you see life?

[00:20:53]How do you interpret what happens around you? How do you tackle the issues that you're facing?

[00:21:02][clears throat] It sets the precedence. It sets the pace of somebody who is lost or somebody who is still on the right path.

[00:21:13]Yesterday I was preaching somewhere. I told them there is no way you can say you are doing well in life if you are not at par with the giver of life. You are lying to yourself. You can't be doing well in life. You can't say everything is okay in life when you are not okay. when your relationship is not okay with the maker with the giver of that life.

[00:21:46]I'm going to conclude with this before we go in a prayer. Take an example.

[00:21:52]You are I am in South Africa. I'm speaking to you from South Africa.

[00:21:58]Uh if you find that you have no good if you find you have a good relationship with the president of your country, let's speak like that. Imagine you have a good relationship with the president of your country and then imagine your situation that you don't even you can't even have access to speak to the president of your country. Two different stories.

[00:22:24]All right. You might have a passport for your country.

[00:22:29]You might have some documents that show that you belong to that country.

[00:22:35]But do you have any extra relationship?

[00:22:38]Do you have any personal relationship with the president, with the prime minister of your country?

[00:22:46]Rachel is in England, for example, but she comes from Slovakia.

[00:22:51]Slovakia. the the the the prime minister of of Slovakia is is fickle. I think fo but whether in England in Kama and and and back in Slovakia is FO. Do you have any personal relationship with those prime ministers? No. But you belong to those countries. You belong to those nations.

[00:23:18]So, we are talking about God who is inviting us today. Hallelujah. Betty, thank you for joining. It's been a while since you you you attended our our teachings, our sessions here. Hope you're doing well.

[00:23:34]God is inviting us today. He's saying, "Know that I am God."

[00:23:43]He said now when you get to know that I am God then you can know what I can do. My dear brothers and sisters wherever you are listening and watching me from I am speaking to you seated right here in this car.

[00:24:01]But I want to tell you that my trust is not in the car. My trust is not in anything else. My focus is always on God.

[00:24:15]I know God and every single day I try my level best to see that I know God for today. Do I know God today?

[00:24:27]Because when you know God, everything changes. When you know God, the whole story changes. When you know God, everything changes completely because your mindset is completely different.

[00:24:42]Things are messed up in life because of what we think. Things are made up in life because of what we think.

[00:24:48]Billionaires are not made by money.

[00:24:52]Billionaires are made by what they think.

[00:24:57]The people you admire, the only thing they have better than you is how they think.

[00:25:04]And it's not that you cannot think like how they think. It's just because you do not know in which direction should you think from that's the difference. The people you admire in life, you are blessed, they are blessed. You have breath, they have breath.

[00:25:24]You have contacts, they have contacts.

[00:25:26]You have family where you born from, they have families where they are born from. You live in a country that they live into.

[00:25:36]There is nothing the people you admiring they are doing that you cannot achieve.

[00:25:42]There is nothing the people admiring you cannot do. The only difference is here in the mind. That's why the word says you must be transformed in your mind.

[00:25:56]So when God is reminding us today my dear brothers and sisters and he's saying be still that means first make it come [clears throat] first. Wait. Don't focus much on what's stressing you and what's making you overthink and what's giving you sleepless night sleepless nights. First play it calm first cool down keep calm and know that I'm God.

[00:26:30]When you know God, it means you are aware of what God can do. You know his power. You know he's mighty. You know he who is God and you know what he can do.

[00:26:46]You know that actually God can do what no man can do. You know that God is above everything. You know that God is above that sickness. You know that God is above that bankruptcy. You know that God is about that above that problem that you are seeing. You know that God is above everything that seems to be taking over your life. We all have even me speaking to you. I have some things if I was to look at them to see them to know them, they would swallow me.

[00:27:19]If I can't tell you here, you might say, "Oh, how do you again be preaching like this?"

[00:27:26]The reason why I'm preaching to you, my dear brothers and sisters, is not because I don't have also some pressing personal issues.

[00:27:35]The reason I'm sharing with you these messages is not because I don't have problems.

[00:27:42]It's not because everything is fine. You know, when some preachers are preaching, they want to present a picture or to make you think that for them all is well, everything is fine. That's not me, brother Mugabi.

[00:27:56]I also have my personal pressing matters. I also have problems.

[00:28:03]I also have challenges. I also have circumstances. If I can tell you here, you might say, "Wait a minute. Is that you, brother Mugabi?"

[00:28:13]But why am I speaking what I'm speaking to you? It's what is keeping me going.

[00:28:19]Hallelujah. I share with you what helps me to keep going. I share with you my position in life.

[00:28:29]I'm sharing with you the truth that keeps me going. This is the truth.

[00:28:36]I decide to know God. I choose to know God. I choose to look up to God. I choose to focus on God. I choose to open my eyes and see God. And even when there is these problems and challenges around me, I choose to look at God because there is one thing I'm sure of that when God speaks, mountains will move. And how does he speak? God, he speaks through me. And how does he work? God works through me. And how is that possible? He helps my mind to think in the right direction that is already prepared for the solutions in my life.

[00:29:21]God makes a way how he sets an answer somewhere and he uses your mind to go and locate that answer. God does not locate things. You locate things because God works through you. For example, if there is a job opportunity somewhere, God will not go there for you. God will be there with you. That means you must have a mindset that says, "Let me go for that job. Let me apply for that job. Let me sit down and write this CV. Let me draft this document. Let me go there and do my best. Let me work hard and I'll be promoted." And God will influence and God's blessing shall make a way. And God's blessing shall locate you in places, in high places, in big offices, in big companies. The blessing shall make you rich and shall not carry with it any cost. Glory be to God. That's the God I'm speaking about. It doesn't have to be today, yet it can be today. It doesn't have to be tomorrow, yet it can just be right a few hours from now. It cannot be next week yet. It can be in just one day, two days to come. We are talking about a point of God who says know that I am God. That's very important. Now, if you are a believer, that's very important. When God says, "Know that I am God." It seems God is speaking to somebody saying, "Do you even know that I am God?"

[00:31:03]It seems God is speaking to somebody today. He's saying, "Do you even remember? Do you even recognize? Do you even know? Do you even understand that I'm God?"

[00:31:16]God is speaking that language. It is a language of reminding us. It is a language of calling us to peace. It is a language of calling us back home. It is a language that calls us back into power. It is a language that calls us back into solutions. It is a language that calls us back into calm. It is a language that calls us back into soity.

[00:31:42]It is a language that calls us back into nor is saying do you know? Do you remember we are believers but we want to know problems? [clears throat] We are believers but we want to to know challenges.

[00:32:03]We are believers but we know circumstances more than we know God.

[00:32:08]What do I mean? We I have already explained this that we choose to be in union. We choose to be in a stronger relationship with our problems than we are in a strong relationship with God.

[00:32:25]Every time you choose to give your full attention to problems, you go in a relationship with the problems. You're married to them.

[00:32:38]Who are you married to?

[00:32:42]Your mind is married to who?

[00:32:47]Your faith is married to who?

[00:32:51]With whom are you in a partnership?

[00:32:54]Are you in partnership with problems or you in partnership with God?

[00:33:01]Do you trust where you invested your heart?

[00:33:06]Do you trust where you invested your mind?

[00:33:11]Do you trust where you invested your heart?

[00:33:15]Do you trust where you invested your life?

[00:33:21]You trust problems more than you trust who gave your life.

[00:33:31]You trust things that you see these cars. You trust a car. You have sleepless nights of a car. You cannot have a sleepless night because you want to speak to God.

[00:33:48]You accept to have sleepless night thinking about problems.

[00:33:55]But you cannot have a sleepless night praying.

[00:34:01]That means you know problems more than you know God.

[00:34:09]How about if you make a decision and say, "I'm not going to be thinking about all this. I'm not going to give attention to these things. Let me get in prayer.

[00:34:23]Let me get in prayer.

[00:34:26]I will just ignore this."

[00:34:31]Which language do you always use when you're speaking to something that is nagging? which that is that that language that you use when you are speaking to something that makes no sense to you. That language that you always use when you're pissed. I don't know why which language you use. There is a language I use. I will not use it here. But there are some words I use to speak to things that I hate so much, things that I don't want, things that are disturbing me. There is a language I use. You know that language you use.

[00:35:04]start applying that language to everything that is trying to take up your mind.

[00:35:12]You need to wake to to wake up to the truth that God is saying know that I am God. It means you do not know him.

[00:35:23]You are in a relationship with with with the world more than you are in a relationship with God. That's why the world is playing with you. That's the world is working on your mind. That's why the world is distracting you. That's why this life is becoming a problem to you. Why? Because it has power over you.

[00:35:42]Do you have power over this life?

[00:35:47]Let's speak now. I'm in the gospel now.

[00:35:49]I'm preaching to you now. I'm speaking to you now. Okay?

[00:35:55]Do you have power over this world? Do you have power over this life?

[00:36:05]God created you in his image. He gave you power to dominate and rule. Hear that word. And rule over.

[00:36:16]Do you see yourself in that position of dominance? Do you see yourself in that position of commanding things to go this way? Do you see yourself in a position of saying no? I will sleep.

[00:36:32]I have a mortgage. I have this problem.

[00:36:34]I have this problem. I have this problem. Guess what? I don't want to use that word that I always use. There is a word I use to describe all that and I put it in the bin. I just throw it in the bin and sleep.

[00:36:53]Learn to use that language against anything [clears throat] and anybody that is trying to distract your mind and make you consider what they are doing, what is happening more than what God is doing.

[00:37:10]It's very important.

[00:37:14]Winning does not come from what you see.

[00:37:17]Winning comes from what you believe.

[00:37:22]Glory be to God. Willing is not what you see. Winning is what you believe. That's the difference between you and the people you admire.

[00:37:33]They believe in success even when failure is written everywhere.

[00:37:40]They believe in winning when all signs outside are showing losing. They believe in accomplishment even when everything is seeming going down into failure.

[00:37:58]Our sister says, "Good day, man of God.

[00:38:02]Please pray for me. I trusted God for the house and the job."

[00:38:11]Can we pause and pray with her? Maybe she's rushing.

[00:38:17]She wants to scroll now. She wants to first hear a prayer. If you are listening and watching, just close your eyes for a bit.

[00:38:28]Get in the spirit and let's say short prayer. Father, we thank you for our sister who is trusting you for a job and a house. We do not know her. We do not know where she comes from. But she has spoken out.

[00:38:46]She has spoken out in faith. Father, we stand in faith and prayer with her, believing that your will shall be fulfilled in her life. Not just because of what she wants, but what you want to do. And may you make her eyes open to know you, to see you, that she will glorify you and tell people of the good that you have done in her life. To your father through your son and with the holy spirit we pray. Amen. Hallelujah.

[00:40:24]as if the God you're speaking to is not hearing. How can he not hear when his spirit is in you?

[00:40:32]How can God not understand you when he even knows what you need before you pray?

[00:40:40]He's calling us today back to the truth.

[00:40:46]He's saying, "Be still and know that I'm God.

[00:40:54]God is the creator. He's Yahweh.

[00:40:58]You need to know God.

[00:41:01]He is Yahweh.

[00:41:04]He's the creator of heaven and earth.

[00:41:07]Everything you see, he created it.

[00:41:14]That's why you see, you can be here lacking.

[00:41:19]And you're like saying why why this is not happening?

[00:41:27]It is you who is failing to know God.

[00:41:31]My sister Norma stop comparing yourself with other people.

[00:41:37]Stop looking at your successes and your accomplishments measuring them by what other people you are competing with.

[00:41:47]Stop the competition.

[00:41:49]I don't know you. I don't know what you're doing. I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. I'm also speaking to you from Cape Town, my sister.

[00:42:03]Stop comparing yourself with other people. Stop looking at yourself in in the perspective of other people.

[00:42:13]If there are some people who talk about you, it is okay. Do they talk good about you? Well and good do they talk bad about you? Where and good do they support you? Where and good do they not support you? Where and good do you have?

[00:42:29]Nobody talks to you well and good. The point is simple. You need to know God.

[00:42:42]When you know God, you can have a nice sleep.

[00:42:48]When you know God, even when you're hungry, you feel your stomach is full.

[00:42:56]When you know God, even when your bank account is on zero balance, you see it full of money.

[00:43:06]When you know God, even before you apply for that job, you see yourself having that job. When you know God, even before you give birth, you're seeing yourself having children.

[00:43:24]When you know God, even when people are laughing at you, you see them digging their own grave.

[00:43:34]You see them preparing ground for their tears tomorrow. You see them mocking themselves because you believe in a God who fights for you. You believe in a God who promised he shall never leave you. He shall never abandon you. You believe in a God who invested the biggest treasure in you, his spirit. You are breathing.

[00:44:11]You are this person who says, "As long as this God still gives me breath, he's going to do things. He's going to turn around situations. He's going to do it.

[00:44:40]He says, "Know that I'm God." And when God says, "Know that I'm God," he's saying, "Have a relationship with me.

[00:44:58]Let's move together." He that's what the Bible means when it says no to know is it means an encounter [clears throat] that is not just one off. No, you get in.

I take care of them. I have responsibility. I'm their parent. But that doesn't make sense. When you die, they will bury you. They won't bury you with those kids. That's what should remind you that don't think that that's what matters most.

[00:59:32]Forgiveness is one of the prisons Satan uses to enslave people for unforgiveness because Satan knows that that forgiveness is one is one of the recommendations that God does that God wants in prayer. That's why Jesus taught us in Matthew 6 from verse 9 to13 he's saying prayer like this and in that prayer he mentions about forgive us as we forgive.

[01:00:06]So Satan knows the moment he can manage to put you in a position of unforgiveness he knows you're gone.

[01:00:14]Forgiveness is slavery but it is done. It is done. You're good to go. It is done in Jesus's name.
