Enemy fighters were [music] taking off below. Then Captain Zeamer kept the bomber on course. Shot in both arms and legs, he maneuvered the damaged plane through 40 minutes of [music] combat. Bombardier Joseph Sarnoski was wounded, knocked from his position, then crawled back to his guns and kept firing until he collapsed.

[00:00:28]Together, the crew destroyed at least [music] five enemy aircraft. Zeamer and Sarnoski received the Medal of Honor.
