Fleet management operations can achieve significant improvements in safety, productivity, and profitability through two core principles: integration (combining multiple systems like telematics, cameras, and data management into unified platforms to break down data silos) and automation (using AI-powered systems to perform tasks automatically without human intervention, such as detecting safety events, generating coaching sessions, and managing workflows). This approach enables real-time responses to critical issues like fatigue detection and equipment faults, reduces manual administrative work, and allows teams to focus on high-value activities rather than reactive problem-solving.

Please welcome Motive SVP Sales and Account Management, John Jenkins.
Let's go. Good morning, Nashville. I am thrilled to kick off day two of Vision with all of you. It's great to be here live and in person with each and every one of you, meeting so many of you for the first time, but also reconnecting with our longterm partners. All of us here are focused on the same critical goal. We want to build safer, more productive, and more profitable operations. And at Motive, we listen to you, which is why we know the real world challenges that you face each and every day. It's your insights that have pushed us to build and to innovate faster than ever before. And in the last three years since coming together at Vision, we have made measurable progress against these goals.
70,000 accidents prevented together with you, making the roads and your operations safer. That's right.
Your teams are saving an average of 20 hours per week on reporting and admin tasks. That's nearly a,000 hours per year that they can dedicate elsewhere.
And for a thousand vehicle fleet, you're seeing an annual savings of $3.4 million on accidents, insurance, and fuel related spend. It's been incredible, but we are just getting started.
Today, you will hear about new solutions that solve critical problems for you in an even more integrated way. Before we bring out Schwe, the co-founder and chief executive officer of this incredible company, let's take a look at the massive momentum we have already built to partner with you to better serve your customers and improve the safety, productivity, and profitability of your operations.

Please welcome Motive co-founder and CEO Shaw McCi.
Welcome to Vision 26.
It's amazing to see you all here today in Nashville. Thank you for joining us.
We have more than a thousand customers representing in organizations that employ more than three million people and operate more than two million vehicles and assets across the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the UK.
The work you all do and the impact you create is just incredible, and we are honored that we get to support you in doing it.
One of the great privileges of working at Motive is getting to spend time with you all in the field and on the road.
In the last year, our team racked up more than 8 million miles on the road and in the air. We had more than 4,000 meetings at your offices, your depots, your terminals, your yards, and everywhere else that you do work. And it's all so that we can deeply understand the problems in your operations so that we can help you solve them.
And while the work you all do is different across industries, trucking, construction, oil and gas, passenger transit, waste collection, and so many others. There are two common themes that come up in almost every conversation.
Number one, there is too much fragmentation in the tools you use, which leads to operational complexity.
And there is far too much manual work which is dragging your productivity.
The solution to these two universal challenges is integration and automation.
These are our two north stars when we think about building technology for you.
How can we build products that work together to break down data silos and give you one integrated view of your operations? and how can we automate the manual workflows so that you can focus on the things that matter most.
I want to start today with integration.
For those of you who have seen the evolution of motive over the years, you know how far we have come. What started as a simple fleet management solution has evolved into an integrated operations platform. Six products each can be used standalone, but the magic happens when you use them together.
Driver safety, fleet management, equipment monitoring, spend management, workforce management, and AI vision.
One system to manage your workers, your vehicles, your equipment, and your fleet related spend.
This year, we took integration beyond software into the world of hardware.
The standard paradigm in this industry has been a telematics device for fleet management and a dash cam for driver safety and and that made sense in a world where dash cams were optional. But today they are essential. This is why we built the AI dash cam plus. We combined telematics and cameras into one device.
That means faster install, one point of failure instead of two, and a horizontal profile that looks great in your vehicles and doesn't obstruct your driver's view. We added three times more processing power to run more AI models and two noiseancelling microphones and a speaker to enable live two-way communication. We also added two forward- facing cameras for stereo vision and a narrow field of view camera so that you can see the details.
This is truly the next generation of telematics and safety technology, and it will futureproof your operations. I'm going to hand it over to Nihar to walk us through some of the life-saving functionality made possible by AI Dash Cam Plus.
Thank you, Shabe. Hello, everybody. It is so great to be here with you all today. Uh, it's 2026 and AI is dominating every conversation. At Motive, we put it to work where it matters most, keeping drivers safe. That starts with the AI Dash Cam Plus. It's not just another dash cam, but a new platform enabling the next leap in driver safety that allows us to tackle one of the hardest problems on the road.
Those split-second moments where timing is everything.
Today, most cameras rely on a single road-f facing lens. They see the world in 2D just like you see here, flat and without depth. They detect objects but struggle to estimate distance, uh, speed and motion. And the compute inside is limited. Yesterday's silicon can't run today's AI.
Forward collision warning has served our industry well for years, but the systems on the road today run on rules.
distance, speed, time to hit, calculated frame by frame. Watch the numbers tick down. The alert only fires once the vehicle is already locked in front of the driver. By the time the threat is confirmed, your driver has already lost the seconds that matter most.
The AI Dash Cam Plus enables a fundamentally different approach. To do this, we need the right input streams and serious compute. Let's start with the two roadfacing cameras. The wide lens captures the full scene and everything in the driver's periphery.
The zoom lens captures details further down the road. And side by side, they fuse together one view of the world with depth the way your own eyes see it. Now, the compute. The AI Dash Cam Plus runs on a powerful new Qualcomm AI processor built for the edge. uh enough horsepower to model the physics of the entire scene in real time on the device.
Now a dash cam can see the road with depth and reason about motion in real time. That unlocks something entirely new. Today we are unveiling collision avoidance coming to the AI Dash Cam Plus later this year.
Instead of measuring distance frame by frame, we model how every object is moving through space. The camera sees one vehicle. Our AI sees multiple possible future trajectories in real time. We reason about which trajectory puts your driver at risk. And we alert seconds earlier while there's still time to act, not after.
This isn't just a better forward collision warning model.
It's a new approach to predicting collisions. It reasons about vehicles, cyclists, animals, and even pedestrians.
Each color you see is a possible future.
Red means the path crosses your drivers.
The alert fires faster and at the moment that it matters most. Or take this moment. It's pitch black. A deer enters the lane. A human eye might miss it, but the AI Dash Cam Plus will not. That is the difference between a near miss and a serious uh collision. Collision avoidance will prevent more collisions than anything that we have ever built.
While our AI is incredible at helping prevent collisions, we also know that not every incident can be avoided. And when something does happen, the other driver doesn't always stick around. In fact, nearly one out of seven collisions on US roads is a hit and run. And that number keeps climbing.
A few weeks ago, one of our customers told me about this exact moment. A vehicle sideswiped their truck and took off. They had the footage, but the plate, it was too blurry. Every dash cam today is built for a wide-angle view to see everything, but the finer details get missed. Without that plate, the insurance claim stalls, the driver gets blamed, and the cost falls on the fleet.
That is exactly why we built automated license plate recognition or ALPR. The AI Dash Cam Plus uses a highresolution zoom lens to capture plates clearly. The moment a collision happens, we surface the plate automatically along with the make, model, and color like you see here. So you immediately get the critical evidence that you need to resolve incidents faster. Now, for privacy reasons, we blur the last three characters of the license plate, but you can see just how clear the first three are. And this isn't just in ideal conditions.
We have built ALPR to work in the real world at highway speeds, day or night, even in challenging conditions like rain or snow. What you see here are real captures from the AI Dash Cam Plus.
Collision avoidance and ALPR are just two examples of what the AI Dash Cam Plus can uniquely do. Today, we detect up to 20 safety events with up to 99% accuracy from distracted driving and fatigue to close following and unsafe lane changes. But we're not standing still. We continue to expand what we can detect and continue to drive false positives down because every false alert chips away at driver trust.
Which brings me to one of the most common and at times frustrating events on the list, speeding. Speed limits change all the time from temporary construction zones uh to permanent updates uh on everyday roads.
A customer recently told me about a stretch of road their drivers run all the time in my home state of Texas. The posted speed limit used to be 55 miles hour, but just a few days later it changed to 60. Today, most solutions rely on a map database to know what the speed limit is on any given road. The problem, the map database hadn't caught up and still showed 55. So, drivers doing the right thing were getting flagged. Map data can be outdated, delayed, or just wrong.
That is why we built AI powered speed sign detection. Instead of relying on the map, we read the signs right off the road. Drivers are only alerted when they're actually speeding. Alongside every event, you can see the exact sign the camera captured. The result, fewer false alerts, stronger driver trust, and better coaching. Uh, and this is just the beginning.
Detecting speed signs with computer vision opens the door to understanding the uh the road in entirely new ways, from construction zones to school zones uh to other critical road signs, all in real time.
The AI Dash Cam Plus is shipping today and already changing how our customers think about safety. And one of those customers is here to share their story firsthand.
I would love to welcome Caesar Rodriguez from Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages to the stage to hear how it's already making a difference for their fleet.
How you nihar?
>> All right. Well, thank you so much u for joining us today. You know, Liberty Coca-Cola runs one of the largest fleets out there and uh you know rolling out new technology at that scale is no small thing. Tell us how did the install experience go for y'all?
>> Well, first off, thank you for having me. It's a pleasure to be here and definitely one of our fleets is one of the largest out there in the east coast and and at scale we running into a situation where we need to come and slow down to do installations is definitely not something we wanted to do. Now, when we were looking at at Motive, we definitely were interested in the fact that the new AI dash camera plus was offering us the ability to have a simpler cable system and a faster integration and also that slimmer profile for the camera was able to keep that away from the driver's field of view. So, we were able to reduce our initial thought process of of the installation time being 1 hour to down to 30 minutes. So, that definitely was was a game changer.
>> That's uh incredible to hear, especially at the scale at which you all operate.
Now once you are up and running uh you know what's one of the biggest challenges that you're solving with the AI dash cam plus >> as you guys know our brand is one of the biggest brands out there in in in the world and fraudulent charges fraudulent claims are are definitely our biggest issue currently. We have a transportation group that runs 24 hours and they are the biggest victims out there on the road. We constantly have drivers that are claiming that we hit them. We have hit and run situations and always it's always been an issue trying to scramble around and get that information still that we can, you know, properly adjust, you know, go after those claims.
>> Yeah, that makes sense. So, what difference is having two roadfacing cameras on the AI dash cam plus made for you all in these cases?
>> Oh, absolutely. That those those dual cameras are a game changer. The wide-angle lens is allowing us to capture as much information as possible off of the road. We're able to see if there's any potential witnesses, able to get information off of the scene, and able to get as much detail as possible as that we didn't have before. The zoom lens is definitely the biggest factor.
Now, we're able to zoom into the scene, capture a license plate information, look into the vehicle to see if there's any potential distractions or, you know, malpractice with from the other driver.
And also, excitingly, we're able to now capture the your make out off of the vehicle. We can go after that claim. I I love the love to hear that and you all are making such great use of that narrow field of view lens. Um so what has the AI dash cam plus revealed um maybe about your drivers behaviors that you didn't you know know before?
>> So liberty is definitely number one value of safety and we consistently tried to tackle tackle any potential incidents and believe that speeding events were were our biggest issue.
Moving over to motive, we saw an immediate spike in different events that weren't being captured before and especially right now is we're starting to realize that the root cause is distractions. Now, as you guys know, the distractions comes in many different forms. It's whether the drivers fidgeting with the GPS, you know, changing radio station, eating or on their cell phones. And in the past, these events weren't being captured and they were getting away with it. Now, with the AI coaching and the events being captured, the drivers are starting to understand and appreciate what we're doing for them and changing the culture for them. And along with that, they're excited to see every day their safety scores. They're always, you know, ready to see 100%. And with those safety scores, they know that they're able to compete at the end of the year at what we call our Liberty Safety Rodeo where the drivers, the finalists are able to win up to $10,000.
>> That rodeo sounds amazing. such a such a great uh story um that you're sharing with us here, Caesar. Um it's stories like this that really drive us. You know, this partnership we have with you all um and with everyone here um is what motive is built for. Thank you for being with us today, Caesar.
>> All right. Thank you very much. Thank you.
>> All right. And now I would like to bring back up Thank you, Nihar and Caesar. Uh, it's awesome to see what AI Dash Cam Plus can do for visibility inside and ahead of the vehicle. But what about everything around it?
When you look at where accidents actually happen, 47% of accidents with injuries are caused by sideswipes and rear-end collisions. and many happened outside the driver's line of sight in blind spots during lane changes or while turning or backing up.
Today, AI Omnicam gives managers 360°ree visibility around the vehicle. But what if you could bring that same visibility directly into the vehicle with real-time awareness and alerts for your drivers?
Today, I'm excited to introduce AI Omnicam Plus. AI Omnicam Plus is a 360 degree camera system built on the AI Dash Cam Plus platform. It's powered by the same high-performance Qualcomm Dragon Wing processor, allowing us to run more complex AI models to proactively detect unsafe situations and alert drivers in real time. It's got built-in LTE connectivity, which means it can operate as a standalone system that can go anywhere. and it supports four HD camera inputs and a live incab display.
You can connect the cameras you already have installed in your vehicles, or you can use Motive's new side cameras, internal cameras, or rear view cameras to provide cargo or passenger visibility.
Inside the cab, drivers see what's happening around the vehicle in real time through an incab monitor. Right and left views activate automatically with turn signals supporting safer lane changes and turns. And when reversing, the rear view appears instantly.
But seeing isn't always enough, especially when it comes to vulnerable road users.
That's where AI comes in. AI Omnicam Plus continuously monitors for pedestrians and cyclists. Anytime a vulnerable road user is in a risk zone, your driver gets an audio and visual alert. And we know how important this is for so many of you in the room who operate large vehicles, particularly in dense urban settings.
You can get a preview of AI Omnic Plus at the product demo stations outside today. This is going to be a life-saving product and we can't wait to get it in your hands later this year.
You just saw how Motive is taking integration beyond software into the realm of hardware. AI Dash Cam Plus integrates telematics and cameras into one unified device. And when combined with AI Omnicam Plus, they work together to give you complete visibility inside and around your vehicles. But we aren't stopping here.
We're going to extend your visibility beyond the vehicle into the heart of your operations. I can't wait for you to see what's next on the integrated hardware front in the coming months.
Stay tuned.
Okay. Uh let's switch gears and talk about the other key pillar of our platform, automation.
We hear this from so many of you. There is simply too much manual work in your operations. But the real problem isn't the time that it consumes. It's that today some of your most important work only happens when a person becomes aware of an issue. Someone has to get an alert, make sense of it, and then act.
So the things that matter most, a fatigue driver, a critical fault code, a major service issue, get addressed only as fast a man as a manager can get to them. Your performance is capped by the limits of human attention. Automation breaks that ceiling. The right action happens at the right moment, whether or not anyone is watching.
At the heart of our focus on automation is Motive AI. It shows up across the Motive platform in three key ways. It delivers insights that help you make sense of raw data. It powers intelligent assistants that enable conversational interactions. And it powers agents that do the work for you. I'm going to hand it to Desh to share the latest on how we're leveraging AI to automate the management of your workforce.
Thanks, Joe Abe. It's great to be here today. At Motive, we deeply understand the realities of running a fleet. It's an uphill battle trying to chase down every risk, keep your drivers motivated, and make sense of that mountain of data.
The good news is that the leaders in this room have already had an incredible impact on making our roads safer and our businesses much more successful. I'm excited to share with you today some of the early results and show you where we're going from here.
Over the last year, AI Coach has proven that automated intervention works at scale. We've delivered over 250,000 personalized coaching sessions, giving over a 100,000 hours back to your managers and ensuring timely and consistent coaching to your field personnel. This isn't just a pilot. It's a new standard for how fleets operate.
But this isn't just about time savings for your managers. The real goal is to improve driver behavior. And the data is clear. Drivers who actively review their AI coaching sessions see an eight times greater safety score improvement and a 50% drop in total events with critical risks like cell phone usage dropping all the way to zero.
Take one large infrastructure fleet who saw every single unsafe behavior drop by over 23.
This is the proof that automated and consistent feedback doesn't just work, it transforms your safety record.
But as we've scaled together, you've told us you want more control and a broader reach. And today, we're delivering exactly that.
We've expanded our avatar library with more options to give your program a more human and authentic feel because we know that your drivers respond best when they're hearing from someone who they can relate to. And of course, you can still record a custom avatar to have an even more familiar face deliver the feedback.
We've added automated reminders to ensure that your drivers never miss a coaching moment.
And my personal favorite, positive recognition. So you can finally pat your drivers on the back. Now when they have a clean week with no events, AI Coach reaches out to congratulate them, ensuring that your best people feel valued, not just monitored.
This year, we are moving from coaching sessions to a precision coaching engine.
You'll have total control choosing which behaviors and severities trigger coaching and how frequently it gets delivered.
You'll be able to customize exactly which coach delivers the message to each region or other driver group, further personalizing that experience and will enable you to upload your fleet policy so that AI coach delivers coaching that is aligned with your rules.
Now, intervention is essential, but to truly change behavior, you also have to motivate your employees and celebrate what's going right.
Driver rewards automates that motivation and the recognition. Setting up a challenge is effortless. You choose the behaviors that impact your bottom line, like unproductive idling, and motive handles the rest. The system tracks every second of performance and identifies the winners in real time. You get the fuel savings, your drivers get rewarded, and you never have to touch a spreadsheet or update that office whiteboard again.
This shifts your coaching program from one that feels punitive to one that celebrates your driver's accomplishments.
And through our tight integration with the Motive card, drivers will soon get access to real cash rewards that they can use anywhere to know whether intervention and motivation are working. You also need to automate the measurement.
That's where performance hub comes in.
This is your single control tower to manage coaching, training, and rewards.
At a glance, you see the health of your fleet, enabling you to highlight your wins and zero in on the aspects of your program that most need attention.
With our new coaching score, you finally know if your program is working by tracking whether unwanted behaviors stop after coaching occurs. And AI supports you by recommending where to focus to see the greatest impact.
But a program is really only as strong as the people who are running it.
PerformanceHub takes you beyond broad trends to individual accountability, highlighting the specific coaches who most need your support to get their teams back on track.
Take Rick for example, a supervisor whose drivers have shown a recent uptick in repeat events. Motive reveals that Rick's 4-day delay in delivering coaching is a reason why his folks are repeating mistakes before he even has a chance to speak with them. Armed with this knowledge, you can now support Rick in closing that gap and helping break that cycle of repeat risk.
2026 is the year of automation for your workforce. We've closed the loop. AI identifies the risk. AI coach delivers the intervention. Driver rewards reinforces the right behaviors and performance hub gives you the intelligence to continuously improve your program, your rules, and the proof that it's working. This is how Motive enables you to scale your operation and improve your bottom line.
But don't just take my word for it. I want you to experience it. We're giving every organization in this room 90 days of workforce management to try for free.
You'll have full access to AI coach, driver rewards, and the performance hub so you can see this impact on your own fleet. Watch your inboxes or talk to your account manager to get started.
Now, to show you how easy it is to uncover key insights and act on them in seconds, please welcome Emily Parsons to the stage. Thank you.
Thank you, Desh. Good morning, Nashville.
Every fleet leader in this room starts their day the same way. Buried in data, hunting for answers and hoping for more time to act on them. On this stage last year, we set out to cut the time between question and answer by introducing motive analytics and AI answers.
A new way for your team to get insights from your fleet data. No queries to write, no analysts to ping, just ask in plain language and get the answer. And since then, you've been putting it to work, asking questions, pulling insights, moving faster than ever with hundreds of thousands of queries being generated. It's clearly working.
But you also told us getting the answer is just the first step. Every step in the platform needs to be just as fast.
All without starting a new chat, changing screens, or kicking off a new workflow.
So this year, we asked ourselves a different question.
What if the conversation didn't stop at analytics? What if the same assistant lived everywhere you work and could actually do the work with you?
Meet Atlas.
Atlas is Motive's new AI powered assistant built into every part of the platform. It understands your fleet data, your drivers, your workflows. It remembers context. And when you ask it to do something, it doesn't just tell you how. It does it. An atlas is what you reach for when you need to find your way. That's what this is for your team across everything they do.
It's Monday morning. You just got to your desk, coffee in hand. You know the drill. Your team's heading out and you want to make sure they have everything they need.
Here's how you'd start your day with Atlas. First question, what do I need to know right now before my team rolls out this morning?
And in seconds, Atlas has scanned safety, compliance, operations, fuel, everything, and told you exactly what matters right now. This isn't a dashboard you have to dig through. This is a morning briefing. And notice something. Your fuel coaching plan is already driving tangible results. Atlas tied it back to the program you launched last week.
That's what a real assistant does. It remembers what you've done and connects it to what's happening right now.
But this rising phone use behind the wheel is really what needs immediate attention. Many of you know that's the exactly the kind of thing a fleet manager might not catch until something bad happens. Atlas caught it before anyone else even sat down this morning.
So, while Atlas can help you take action on all of the open items in your morning briefing, your biggest priority this morning is making sure your team knows phone use behind the wheel is not tolerated.
Here's where Atlas stops telling and starts doing. Let's get a personalized message sent out to those specific drivers before they head out today.
Now, you'll notice Atlas isn't just drafting a mass blast here. It identified the right drivers, looked at each one's individual history, their event count, their safety score, and drafted a personalized message for each of them all in about 10 seconds. That's work that used to take the better part of your morning.
And that's just one action.
Atlas can do the same thing across expense reports, compliance workflows, bulk driver edits, any of the manual work that's been eating your team's time.
So that's Atlas in the dashboard. But we know Motive isn't the only place your team is utilizing AI. They're in chat GBT, in Claude, in Copilot using more of these tools every day to get the job done.
That's why today we're connecting Motive to all of these AI applications through our new MCP or model context protocol integration.
Tools like chat GBT or Claude can now pull directly from your Motive data. Let me show you what this unlocks.
I'm in Claude here, but this works the same across any of your AI tools. The setup is simple. Just 5 minutes and you've got motive data at your fingertips.
Take a situation many of you know well, insurance renewal season. You're walking into renegotiations next month. With Motive, your fleet safety record has improved dramatically, and your premium should reflect that.
The first step of any renewal is getting the full picture of your current contract, starting with the insurance correspondence sitting in your email inbox. Claude connects to your email and other internal tools. So, in seconds, you've got a clean summary of your contract and every exchange with your insurance partner.
Now, here's what you couldn't do before with Claude. Claude can pull the last year of your motive data and build a full renegotiation report.
The result is one report with three sources. Your safety data from Motive, industry benchmarks from the open web, and insurance contract history from your inbox. No single source could have answered that on its own.
together through the mode of MCP, you're walking into that renegotiation, ready to land a lower rate.
One last step, you can export it as a PDF, ready to share with your team before renewal talk even starts. And insurance is just one example here.
Complex questions that no single system could answer alone are now just a simple prompt away.
So, so far you've seen Atlas working alongside you in the motive dashboard and in the AI tools that your team cares most about. But here's the thing. Atlas doesn't just live on a laptop or in a chat window. It lives in every vehicle, too. Meet Motives voice assistant powered for your driver.
Same Atlas intelligence built into every AI dash cam plus. Let me show you what that looks like from the driver's seat.
Hey Atlas, it's Emily Parsons. Sign me in.
>> Good morning, Emily. You're signed in.
Ready when you are.
>> No fumbling with a tablet, no typing in a pin. The driver stated her name and she's on the road. Simple, hands-free, and secure.
Fast forward a couple hours into my route. My tank's getting low. Hey Atlas, where's the next gas station on my route? Based on your fuel level and nearby prices, I'd recommend stopping at Shifty's off exit 31A, about 4 minutes ahead. Pump price is $4.38 through the Motive discount network.
>> Atlas isn't just finding the nearest gas station. It's recommending the best one for the driver through Motives's discount network. And that network will soon be open to every Motive customer.
That means every driver on every route is automatically getting access to the best fuel prices available.
Okay, fuel stop handled. Back on the road. Hey Atlas, how's my route looking?
>> Traffic just picked up on your next stop. Looks like you're about 15 minutes behind schedule. Want me to let dispatch know?
>> Atlas pulled the conditions, connected them to the driver's schedule, and offered to act. That's not a voice command. That's a partner on the road.
Hey Atlas, no need to call dispatch just yet, but please send them a message with my latest estimated arrival time.
>> Message sent. Have a safe trip. I'm here if you need me. From your morning briefing to the last mile, one intelligence in every part of your team's day, removing friction, cutting manual work, and transforming reactive workflows into proactive management. The assistant, MCP integration, and voice assistant will all be available later this summer.
What you saw today is Atlas doing the work with you. But we know the Motive platform never stops, even when you do.
I'd like to welcome Sean Sanche to the stage to show you what happens when Motive automates the work for you.
>> Good morning, Vision 26.
Automations is not just a theme here this week. It's a new product powered by AI that I have the pleasure of bringing to you all today. We have built an incredibly innovative product that will increase productivity and reduce decision time by automating the everyday tasks that slow you all down.
The amount of problems you all face day-to-day is increasing every single year. Across the US physical economy, 860 million hours were spent last year on tasks that Motive can now automate.
But the real shift here is not just about speed. It's about moving from an operation that reacts to problems to one that prevents them before they happen.
In the same study, we estimated $46 billion are lost annually due to three preventable problems.
Preventable downtime. Critical fault codes get detected, but nobody acts fast enough. What should have been a $200 repair turns into a 20k breakdown on the side of the road.
Compliance violations, hours of service infractions, and missed Dvi are preventable with automations. And beyond the fines, think about the time your team spend chasing these down after the fact.
Unproductive idling. Every unnecessary minute with that engine running is money leaving your business.
Automations is an if this, then that engine built right into the motive dashboard. You will automate tasks and optimize workflows and prevent problems before they occur.
The if is what we call a trigger. These are conditions in your operations that kick everything off.
The then is what we call an action, which is what Motive does automatically the moment that trigger fires. And these are not just simple rules. These are intelligent workflows powered by AI.
Fault codes. Managing them is such a pain. They can be extremely noisy and downright confusing. Automations will remove the burden here. And I'll remind you how frustrating they are before we inject AI into this process.
When a piece of equipment throws a fault code, you get exactly what the engine computer reads. A raw SPN and FMI number that frankly needs to be decoded, plus a vague description of what those numbers actually mean. and your maintenance teams were left trying to figure out the rest. That's not the case with Motive.
Now, every fault code detected by Motive comes with AI powered enrichment, which includes a plain language description of what's actually happening inside the vehicle, a severity level of the issue, and a recommended action. And these improvements, they're not just cosmetic.
They're the intelligence layer that empowers your maintenance teams and your automations.
When it's time to build an automation, we have made it easy using natural language. Instead of pointing, clicking, and dragging to build, AI will understand what you want and do it for you.
Once you've verified that everything looks right on your automation, publish the automation. So now it is live in your account and the next time a critical fault code gets detected, Motive will take it from there.
>> Hey Sarah, this is Atlas, your Motive assistant. I've detected a critical fault code. Your engine is showing low coolant temperature, likely due to a thermostat issue.
>> Thanks for letting me know. What should I do?
>> Find a safe place to park as soon as possible. Then give maintenance a call.
I've already shared the details with them.
>> Okay, thanks. I'll pull over now and call maintenance.
>> Call ended.
>> I mean, that's pretty cool, right? This automation Yeah. Yeah. All right.
This automation will save you time, money, and increase equipment uptime. No more decoding, no more detective work, and no more ignored fault codes turning into a truck on the side of the road and a bill you did not budget for.
Something I love about building at Motive is when customers like you all take what we built and do something we did not fully anticipate.
Zyllem Kendall Infrastructure Group is one of the largest vegetation management companies in the United States. They remove plant life to prevent infrastructure damage, protect utility networks, and even help stop the spread of wildfires. Tucker Miller manages the operations across 8,000 pieces of equipment. And what his team built with automations is truly innovative. Tucker, come on out here.
>> Yeah, Tucker, thanks for being here, man. Really appreciate it. uh tell us a little bit about XKIG, what you do and how you're using Motive.
>> Yeah, so XKIG um is an infrastructure company. Uh we started it as Kindle uh Xylm Tree Experts and Kindle Vegetation.
Um we recently acquired another infrastructure company to kind of push us over that, you know, peak. Um we have about 8,000 pieces of equipment nationwide, 44 states. Um continue to grow. Uh, we have AG minis, we have vehicle gateways, we have cameras, we have the plus, I mean beacons. The only thing we don't have is the the the one uh what's the name of it?
>> Omnicam.
>> Omnicam.
>> Omnicam. Well, I'm glad you're interested in it. Uh, soon to be motive card customer as well, by the way. So, thank you for that. Um, yeah.
So, uh, 8,000 pieces of equipment, 44 states. That's a lot of moving parts.
When I first came to you with automations, you had a use case you wanted to deploy pretty much immediately. Uh what was it?
>> Yeah, so we had a vendor um go into our geo fences and create wildfire geoences for us. And so we wanted to kind of take it to to the next level. Um over over the time at you know the company we've always tried to you know find a way to get to that next peak. Um and so we we had the geo fences created and then we were trying to figure out how do we get them to the users in the field. And so it was an idea and you know I was able to work with Motive and we we came up with something.
>> Yeah. And what's complex about Tucker's situation here is that it's not a static problem. These wildfire risk zones are moving every day, sometimes even every hour. And this automation handles it for you. So I actually want to show it on the screen here a little bit. When the vehicle enters the geoence, you'll see what happens.
>> Hey Michael, you have entered a wildfire risk zone. Please follow XKIG policies when operating in these high-risisk areas. Thank you.
>> It's pretty cool. Zylm driver Michael now he's safer with his wildfire uh automation there. So this message that gets delivered by the AI dash cam plus uh it's completely customizable by you by you all when you set up your automation. Um it said XKIG policies.
What are some of these wildfire risk zone policies? Yeah, and I mean it kind of depends on what zone they're going into, but you know, just kind of ballparking it. You have uh you know, clearing brush underneath the chippers, filling up gas in a certain area, no smoking. Um so, you know, those kind of things are they're getting on, you know, part of their daily prejob and so they're kind of already aware of those policies. Um but this is letting them know because again, it changes sporadically.
>> Yeah. Yeah. This is exactly what automations is built for, y'all. turning real world signals into real time action. And the reason this works is not just the product, it's also the partnership. Tucker, thank you for being here. Tucker Miller, everybody, >> thank you.
>> You've seen automations address maintenance and operation challenges. It will also improve driver safety. A critical issue we all face is fatigued driving. In the US, there are 100,000 accidents and 800 fatalities every single year due to overt tired drivers.
That's not a stat about bad luck. That's a stat about missed interventions.
Automations will solve this problem.
>> Hey James, this is Atlas, your motive assistant. I'm detecting signs of fatigue. Are you doing okay?
>> Yeah, it's been a long day.
Please find a safe place to pull over and get some rest.
>> Okay, sounds good.
>> I'll stay on the line with you until you're safely parked.
>> Appreciate it.
>> This technology will save lives.
AI Dash Cam Plus automations and Atlas working together as one integrated system. And we're just scratching the surface here. There are hundreds of other automations that can run automatically while your teams focus on the work that matters.
You all have new drivers starting all the time. Probably one started at least while I've been up here. Every one of you has someone manually tracking those start dates, placing card orders, and hoping the card arrives before your driver does. It's one of those tasks that never really makes anyone's highlight reel, but when it breaks down, your driver is sitting on day one with no way to fuel the truck. Automations will eliminate that problem.
The moment a new driver is added in motive, their card is created, assigned, and loaded with your spending policies automatically.
But even with that, a physical card still takes days to ship and your driver needs to move today.
With the motive card, automations will deliver a digital card directly to your phone the same day they start.
Card is live. Driver taps their phone and they're on the road. If a card gets lost or stolen, same process, instant replacement, zero downtime. Now, I want you all to try it for yourself today.
We're giving everyone in this room a $50 digital motive card right now.
Pull your phones out, scan the QR code on the screen. Should be on the side here as well.
A your card will be pushed instantly to your phone and ready to add to your digital wallet. And if you miss the car the cart or the code today, don't worry about it. Find us at the Motive World booth. There'll be signage outside and we'll get you taken care of. And by the way, when you see me roaming the halls this week, remember, I'm the guy who gave you 50 bucks.
But seriously, come find me. We would love to partner with you all to build automations that are most important to your businesses. Now, I'd like to invite back up on stage to help close us out.
Thanks, Sean. It's amazing to see how we're deploying Motive AI across the platform to automate workflows for your managers. And it's not just about time saved. AI makes it possible to do work that otherwise was not possible. Getting that vehicle pulled over when there's a critical fault. generating the insight that lets you negotiate lower insurance premiums in just seconds and so much more.
Now, much of what we've talked about relating to automation has been focused on the work that happens in the office.
But what about the work that happens in the field or on the road? What if you could get insight and automate the data collection that you ask your drivers and your workers to do? This is where AI vision comes in. Let's take let's talk about an example from the waste industry.
This may just look like a trash bin to most of you, but to those in the waste industry, this is a revenue opportunity.
Every overfilled container is a billable event. But the way that revenue is captured today is by having a worker manually record an overage event by taking a picture with their tablet.
It takes time. It delays routes and more often than not it just doesn't happen.
This is why we've partnered with our customers in the waste industry to ta to train a custom AI model that can detect overages with near perfect precision.
We automatically detect a pickup and if the trash is overflowing the container, an overage event is generated with visual proof to send to the customer.
And the results here are just incredible.
Motives overage AI model detects 10 times more overage events than the average human operator.
That translates into $2 million in annual revenue for a waste operation with 100 trucks. And just to be totally clear here, our customers are using this model to generate revenue today. And we're just getting started here. We are training AI models to detect all kinds of things that are happening in your operation.
Another one from the waste industry, recycling contamination detection, vegetation overgrowth for our utility and vegetation management customers, potholes and down street signs for our public sector customers, and work site safety for our construction and oil and gas customers.
Every one of these examples, contamination, vegetation, potholes, work site safety, has the same thing in common with that overfilled trash bin.
Today, capturing it requires a worker to notice and manually document, which means most of the time it just doesn't happen. AI vision changes that. The event is detected automatically with visual proof.
Automations breaks the ceiling of human attention in the office. AI Vision breaks it in the field and on the road.
So, let's bring this all the way back to where we started. Everything we've shown you today rests on two ideas. The first is integration. One platform, your vehicles, your drivers, your equipment, and your spend all in one place. And the second is automation. the right action happening the moment it's needed.
Whether it's in the office, in the field, or on the road without waiting for someone to catch it. When you put these two together, you get safer, more productive, and more profitable operations.
That's what we're building with you, and we are just getting started. Thank you for placing your trust in motive, and thank you for pushing us to build better every year. Have a great Vision 26.
