The Good Samaritan: True Neighborly Love

[00:00:00]In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus shares a parable to answer an important question: Who is my neighbor? A man traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho is attacked by robbers who strip him, beat him severely, and leave him half dead on the roadside. First, a priest comes down the road, sees the injured man, [music] but chooses to cross to the other side, avoiding him.

[00:00:54]Through this story, Jesus teaches that true [music] neighborly love goes beyond social divisions, race, and prejudice.
