The second season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will shift from the grand adventure of the first season (focused on the Grand Tourney at Ashford Meadow and the Trial by Seven) to a more grounded narrative exploring political conflicts, land disputes, and the decay after war, demonstrating how minor conflicts and the history of smaller houses shape the lives of common folk in Westeros.

BREAKING NEWS: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms First Look | Season 2 Preview | Game of Thrones | HBOAdded:
All right, my friends. We now have our first look at Sir Duncan as they're filming the second season of the hit series, A Night of the Seven Kingdoms.
We finally got a glimpse of our favorite hedge knight thanks to a local photographer who lives near the set over in Spain. He said, "Today I bring you something very special. I don't know if you knew this, but this week they've been filming scenes from a series in the Game of Thrones universe, literally right in front of my house. I actually couldn't believe what I was seeing when all of a sudden a rider on horseback appeared right on the mountain side.
Only later did the entire film crew show up, and that's when I realized it was a production. I immediately grabbed my camera, threw on the longest lens that I have, and I added converters because the distance was considerable, most likely around 800 m or a kilometer. I also brought out the telescope, connected my second camera, and tried to capture something. And by the way, don't bother coming. It was their last day of filming. There's also a local website who has shared some of his photos from the set. They have some exclusive photos from the filming of A Night of the Seven Kingdoms and Grand Canaria, including the recreated village of Taisa. It goes on to say, "We were the first to share that filming would take place there and also that shooting would begin this week. Today, thanks to our friend and photographer, we bring you photos from the new set, including an exclusive look at the village HBO created where they filmed the scenes. And we believe it's located near Taiisa rather than in Dorne. Now, that photo of Sir Duncan riding his horse at sunset looks more like a poster and is likely the most gorgeous shot we have shared in the Seven Kingdoms. In some of these other new set photos, we can see Sir Films has made some cabins and a field where Sir Duncan will visit next season. There's also a makeshift stove, a lantern, a cart, and even some boxes or cages that will very likely hold some small animals or livestock. Now that these photos have surfaced online, Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire fans are wondering where this set will be located in the second season of A Night of the Seven Kingdoms. The author of this new article doesn't believe this will be set in Dorne, but rather the village near Taisa where Sir Duncan will try to recruit some men for Sir Eustace as described in the sworn sword. Aegon's absence from the scenes might be a big clue. Now, they do believe we will have a definitive answer soon because they will be filming for at least two more weeks for the second season of the Duncan Egg Show. Now, for those of you who haven't read the Duncan Egg Nollas, I got to let you know that this second season will be very different from the first. As you all know, that first season of the Duncan Egg Show focused on the Grand Tourney at Ashford Meadow, which was full of knights and glory, and the infamous Trial by Seven. The second season will be much smaller in scale, but also more grounded. It will focus on disagreements over land, hardships, and the decay after war. And if the first season is about learning what knighthood looks like in a land filled with corruption, then the second season is about discovering that even small conflicts are shaped by the same politics that drive wars. Like I said, it is a much smaller story with a much smaller cast, but it is arguably more mature, and it does set the tone for how the Duncan Egg novelas gradually evolve from adventure stories into a deeper history of Westeros. The second season will be set roughly a year and a half after the first season when the seven kingdoms are suffering from a summer drought which had followed the great spring sickness. By now, Sir Duncan has sworn his sword to a man named Sir Osgrey at Stanfast in the reach. And after Sir Duncan and Aegon returned to Stanfast from a short journey, they discover that a local stream has dried up while they were gone. Suspicious and unheeded of the warning by fellow sworn sword Sir Bennis of the brown shield, Sir Duncan sends Aegon ahead to Stanfast while he investigates. That's when Sir Duncan and Sir Bennis discover that a dam has been built on the order of Lady Rohan Weber. And they obviously can't allow that to happen because they're all suffering from the drought. When Lady Rohan's men refuse to take down the dam, Sir Bennis cuts one of them with his long sword. And it will be this event that sets off the conflict in the upcoming season of the show. In short, the second season will be less about epic battles and more about how minor conflicts and the history of these other houses shape the lives of the small folk in Westeros. It's also going to show Aegon's transformation into someone who understands how things work far better than most of the knights around him.
I'll dive into all this in a later video. As of right now, we are still roughly 6 or 7 months away from the release of A Night of the Seven Kingdom second season. And while they did run into some delays while filming, the headwriter and showrunner did say they are still on schedule for its original release date. What I'm excited for right now is the release of the upcoming season of House of the Dragon. We're finally only a month away from the epic downfall of House Targaryen during the infamous Dance of the Dragons. Now, I want to have a look at what's going to happen in House of the Dragons third season. We should be able to figure out how the season will unfold based on some of HBO's official photos and videos.
We're about to be in for one hell of a ride. I fully believe the fans love and excitement for this story and its characters will be resurrected this summer. And while I certainly understand why everyone was so unhappy with the second season, I can't believe how many fans still say they're done with the show. HBO's new video has me very excited about the next eight episodes. I think it's undeniable. This upcoming season of House of the Dragon will be incredible. It's no secret this season will focus on House Targaryen Civil War as the Blacks and the Greens desperately fight for control over the Seven Kingdoms. And now that a severely injured Aegon has fled the city, his brother Aemon oneeyed Targaryen sits on the Iron Throne. Meanwhile, Rene and Damon are making their own arrangements to seize the Iron Throne. Rene wants to take back what she believes is already rightfully hers. They've already caused mass hysteria throughout the city. The residents are starting to riot because they're hungry, desperate, and scared.
So long as the Sea Snake and his Valyrian fleet have control over the Gullet, its shipping lanes, and access to the Blackwater Bay, the capital will not be able to send or receive any supplies or food. As you can imagine, the residents of King's Landing are afraid and starving. So, they're beginning to look at a different leader for their salvation. Initially, Rene did want to win over their hearts and minds before she stormed the city with her army and dragons. But now that women and children are dying all over Westeros, she likely will have to act fast. And based on how the second season ended, she likely still believes she will be able to walk right in and sit on the Iron Throne without any bloodshed. That was the agreement she made with Allison after all. As you all know, Allison thought she could make this happen because Aegon was still bedridden. So long as Allison opened up the gates and handed over Aegon for execution, it would have stopped any further bloodshed. In fact, that single action might have stopped the dance of the dragons, ultimately saving House Targaryen and its dragons from its own downfall and destruction. However, now that Aegon has escaped capture, Rene is ultimately going to believe they forced her hand, resulting in the death of over a dozen more dragons and thousands and thousands of soldiers all around Westeros. Once again, Westerosi soil will be soaked with fire and blood. The first battle will unfold in the opening episode as the Valyriion fleet come under attack by an estimated 90 warships from the Triarchy. We saw them set sail in the final episode of the second season, and they're on a collision course with the Sea Snake's massive and seemingly unstoppable fleet. Again, this battle in the Gauntlet is known as the bloodiest and deadliest sea battle in Westerosi history. Therefore, it should be unlike anything we've ever seen before. Its size and scale should rival some of the battles we have seen in feature films. Thousands of men died.
The Valyrian fleet lost nearly a third of its eyes. And at least one of the dragons will not make it out of here alive. It will be one hell of an episode. It will set the tone for the rest of the season. I believe we have seen glimpses of Rene and her reaction to the losses they will suffer during the battle. This is likely her witnessing the aftermath as she looks for her son in the wreckage. After the dust settles, Damon and Rea will strike back with a vengeance. While Aean Dwey and his dragon search for Damon and Harrenhal, they will be snatching the Iron Throne right out from under him.
Damon Targaryen was seen fighting inside the Red Keep where Cersei Lannister once had the giant map of Westeros on the floor. I think they should be able to overtake the city fairly easy. Not only has Aean and Sir Christristen Cole left with their army, but Damon also has connections within the City Watch.
Although he's no longer their commander, they still have love for the man they once followed. I believe we are seeing that right here where it looks like the city watch are escorting Allison and Helena to the great hall. I believe Reneer is already sitting on the iron throne. So now she's having everyone brought before her to give them an opportunity to swear falty and bend the knee before anyone else dies. We also see her throwing Aegon's banners in the fire during a different scene. After Rene secures the city and the Iron Throne, she will want to make sure the Red Keep feels like home once again. And Aegon's flags and furniture will be the first things to go. Amen. One eye is going to feel very stupid once he realizes what actually happened. As soon as he arrives in Harrenhal, he will be expecting an epic fight with his uncle Damon and his dragon Caraxis. Instead, he's going to find an empty castle except for Sir Simon Strong and some of his lesserknown family members and the witch Alice Rivers. He will soon learn that he basically gave up the capital and the Iron Throne for an abandoned house. And as expected, aim oneeyed Targaryen will take out his anger and frustration on any and everyone who was left behind to guard the castle. There are a few shots of him burning the castle and searching for his enemies within. He will assume they're working for Damon, so they'll have to face his sword or dragon shortly after his arrival. That is everyone except for Alice Rivers. This will be one of the interesting aspects of the season because their relationship will develop and evolve, showing us a different side of the oneeyed prince. He will become obsessed with Alice Rivers and it is one of the reasons why he severs his relationship with Sir Christristen Cole.
Eventually, we will see Sir Christristen Cole urge Aean to join their forces with his brother Daron and Dorman High Tower in the south. He doesn't think it's a good idea to face Reneer and all of her dragons with what they currently have.
Sir Christristen Cole wants Amon and Vagar to fight alongside Daron and his dragon, as well as Helena and her dragon if need be. But Aean doesn't like the idea. He believes Sir Christristen Cole is acting like a coward. In fact, Aean Targaryen fully believes he can win any battle with Vagar alone. Let's be honest though, he really doesn't want to leave Alice River's side. He hopes he can draw Damon back to the Riverlands by attacking smaller villages around Harrenhal. Other than the battle in the Gullet, we will see some other major battles this season. We can see the High Tower and the Stark armies at work in the new trailer. Now, it's hard to say exactly which battles we will see during the season. With only 16 episodes remaining, it will be hard for them to adapt the dozen or so battles that have yet to happen during the Dance of the Dragons. According to at least one source, we will likely see the battle at Tumbleton during the final episode. If so, it will be one of the most shocking events in the season. It is a battle that's infamous for its dragon rider switching sides mid battle. That's right. Rea Targaryen will be betrayed by her own men, Sir Off the White, Sir Hugh the Hammer, and their dragon Silverwing and Vermathor. These bastards are instantly filled with fear after they see Daron and his dragon, who were followed by a large high tower force.
Now, you would think these two men and their dragons could stand against one.
Yet, they jump ship almost immediately after they realize they would face some resistance. It will be a sad sight to see. Now, this is assuming the writers will follow author George R. Martin's outline in Fire and Blood. We already know they are making some changes to the story. George R. Martin shared some of his thoughts and feelings about this on his not blog website. He would later delete that blog after HBO reached out to him for not only embarrassing the writers and network, but for also revealing some of the major events that will happen in the upcoming season. If you have been watching all my update videos, then you likely seen some of these changes in the leaked footage of the High Tower army. In the behind-the-scenes video, we can see Damon Targaryen and Orman High Tower having a discussion about something before the battle. It looks like Orman High Tower is actually handing over Daron Targaryen to their enemy. Some fans believe this is either a fake scene shot by HBO to throw off to fans or it's a fake Daron and they're giving him to Damon for something in exchange. Now, you have to remember they don't have social media in Westeros. They also don't have family photos all over their walls either. So, Damon would not know what Daron looks like other than the fact that he should resemble Viseris and Alisent. The High Towers could easily hand over a fake Daron without risking the life of the real one or giving up any of their leverage. This will be one of the major changes to the source material. I just hope they don't have anyone acting in a way that would betray their character's own motivations, desires, or actions. We've already seen some photos of Reneer holding a sword.
The actress, Emma Darcy, basically made them add the scene simply because she wanted it to happen. This isn't that big of a deal in and of itself, but they're already walking on thin ice with the fans. I could actually see them upsetting the fandom if they suddenly have Rene winning a sword fight or leading the Vanguard into battle. All they got to do is follow the author's outline. There's already an incredible story sitting there waiting to be adapted. They can easily satisfy us fans so long as they don't add their own ingredients just to fit some stupid agenda. So far, this season does look incredible based on what I've seen in HBO's new video. Let's see the battle in the gauntlet and the fall of King's Landing. I also want to see Allison's slick remarks after Reneer takes back the Iron Throne. I think it's safe to say most of us have had enough of their loving relationship. They're not sisters or best friends. I think it's time to adapt who they really are and what they actually think of each other. I also want to see Aim and One Eyee obsess over Damon until they finally reunite moments before their dragons dance in the sky.
And let's see some of the smaller battles involving Sir Christristen Cole and Daron Targaryen. With only eight episodes in this season, there shouldn't be any filler whatsoever. Every episode should deliver, showing us exactly why The Dance of the Dragons is known as one of the most infamous and shocking moments in all of Westerosi history. Let me know what all of you thought about this official trailer down below. I would love to hear what you have to say.
Also, make sure you subscribe if you want to see more videos about Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Aegon's Conquest, Duncan Egg, or Winds of Winter. Once again, I want to thank all of you for watching another video. I hope everyone has a great day. I will see you again very soon. Bye.
