This video demonstrates proper tarantula feeding techniques, including offering appropriately sized prey items (such as roaches) and providing water misting for hydration. The host feeds approximately 30 tarantulas of various species, including Grammostola pulchra, Brachypelma vagans, and Psalmopoeus dominicanus, while explaining that proper feeding requires matching prey size to the tarantula's mouthparts and ensuring adequate hydration through regular misting. The stream also covers species identification, taxonomic changes in the hobby, and community aspects of exotic pet keeping.

Tarantula Thursday - Feeding, chat and chill 28.05.2026 #live #tarantula #animalsAdded:
Greetings and salutations, my dear friends. Welcome to another tarantula feed tarantula Thursday feed that and chill.
And today we'll feed some spiders.
This camera I need to clean it. We'll feed some spiders and we have a small little slideshow that is created through your amazing pictures posted either directly to me or on the Tarantula Keepers Drakkar group in the description below. We have four people in the chat room. Nice to have you all here.
I raise my cup for all of you. Let's go.
Maria is um recovering a bit, so maybe she'll join a bit later, but we'll see. We'll see.
Right.
Let's switch directly to the table cam because we have a lot of stuff to do. Sorry, friend.
Look here.
Right.
Uh-huh.
Okay.
Go.
That was the first one like We here we have um How much is that? Like this is 12 20 around 30 spiders that we need to feed today and to give water.
Right, we have Wilson's Exotics. Nice to have you here.
It's cool. I hope you have a fantastic week and everything is going fine.
So so much crazy stuff is currently happening on the onlines. I'll let you know >> [laughter] >> about like some of the craziest info. Not not with this hobby, but like I was so in shock.
Um By the way, the like the the challenge is still on with like getting 50 likes on a live stream and we will pair Nhandu Tripepi. And I think that's doable. Like there's a lot of people coming here and I think if everyone would if everyone would share >> [laughter] >> you'll have like more than 50 likes and if you don't want to do that um for my like mental discomfort, do it for Maria's pleasure.
>> [laughter] >> Um Yeah, Maria has chronic pain issues. So yeah.
Hi Maria, lovely. How are you?
Yeah.
It's It's tough for her.
Sadly.
But she's also a tough girl.
Right, let's let's do some work.
So first we have a Grammostola pulchra, a female named Idun. That's one of my spiders.
Although Grammostola pulchra, recently there was like this uh maybe not uproar, but maybe like confusion.
Which Grammostolas are currently in in the hobby. Are there um Grammostola pulchras in the hobby?
What was like the uh chat room, can you find the info what was the the the the species name of of the change of the taxonomic change? That would be lovely.
Cuz I kind of I I don't have it currently in my in my head, but there was like um certain uproar, so to say.
Uh upper bison first person view Oh, good evening all. Help is on the way.
Hello, I mean. Okay, we can help you.
And hello.
>> [laughter] >> Scott, nice to have you here.
Right.
Um if you can uh find what the name was for the Grammostola that was supposedly now like not the pulchra, but what what it was changed. That that's uh that would be interesting. Right, first, but before we give this one a bit of food, let's give this one water.
Oh, that's That's oi.
Ah.
Oh, attack the water.
>> [laughter] >> I heard the sound of the spritz.
Under mega pressure.
Right. Um you probably want some food.
Listen Exotics writes, I need big help making a spider snake room.
I'm we are still in the in the in the works. Like I'm not really happy with the result so far.
There is still still some stuff stuff to be done.
If I would live near I would definitely help.
I'm all up for helping with the hobby.
You want some food?
Food?
Yeah.
Oi.
>> [laughter] >> Get wrapped on.
We are in the middle of a heatwave. We also had a very big heatwave.
Like 2 weeks ago we had uh thunderstorms with a lot of rain and then afterwards like whoosh this this heatwave. So it was the same here.
Not pleasant.
Uh also the the um temperature swings were so big that in the morning when I was driving um her bike to work I had to wear like a coat with coat and then when I was driving back it was uh Yeah, it was like on on on uh exotic country. Oh, this looks nice.
Look how happy he is.
You have some dirt on your foot see.
No, you're not getting out.
I have your water.
And your food. Bone.
Apple teeth.
What's this?
Heterometrus spinifer, that's not really a spider.
Mhm.
Wait.
He can't squirt.
Aloha tarantula.
Aloha aloha. Let's go. Nice to have you here.
Uh soon the the challenge for the 50 likes is still on, so Right, let's try to give um this little scorpipino named Winston a little roachy.
And I literally mean little roachy because it needs to be like close of close to his size.
I saw a good one here.
No, go.
Roach is climbing there.
Want something to eat?
Mhm.
I hope he goes so much.
Very shiny.
Robert Bob.
The scorpion man himself.
Nice to have you here.
Let's go.
I keep thinking Eden will molt.
But she never does. Ah, yeah.
Scorpions are also the same way, right?
They're also Get well soon, dear Maria. Oh, nice to have you here, JK, and thank you very much for the get well wishes.
Net for critters, nice to have you here.
Let's go.
I hope you are all doing well.
Let's do some spider and other critters stuff together.
Um, I Yeah, I'll leave the roach in here.
Winston doesn't really look unhungry.
Right.
I said it before, but a quick reminder with with the the the challenge with the 50 likes is still on, and before that I am not pairing an adult.
Um Maria, I hope your flare eases up soon.
Yeah, like um From what Maria told me about the cluster headaches, it's uh um very unpleasant.
So, yeah.
Um This heat doesn't help our flare-ups.
Oh no.
I I feel so bad for you. I feel so sorry.
Okay, you all You all better get me better.
Or else the evil tarantula man from Poland comes.
Don't poop.
Okay, yes.
It's so angry.
Um Okay, I have this water squirts here.
But it's like it has so much pressure that it will startle the spider a bit much, I think.
Okay, I'll try to I'll try to be gentle.
Can you hear the pressure?
Oh no.
Okay.
Stay calm.
Um this one here that's a Psalmopoeus Psalmopoeus dominican purple, I I I think.
Yes, it's like barely readable, but it's there.
Not purple yet. Like there's like hints.
Much.
Not much yet.
Mm. Oh, thank you, Jen.
Uh it's that dang heat. I shake my fist at you, son.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There was like this this uh meme this meme that with a guy pointing a a gun at the sun and you shiny bastard stop shining.
Tliltocatl vagans, also known as the angry Brachypelma back then when they were still Brachypelmas.
Uh by the way, um chatroom, could have you found maybe or do you still remember the um the Grammostola pulchra, what supposed species is this in right now cuz people are a bit unsure.
Uh oh no, not the tarantula man from Poland. I hope he isn't coming to get me.
He's just angry.
Rob, how this heat would be uh Oh what what?
Did 14-mile hike today.
That's a That's a lot.
I tip my hat.
I don't have a hat.
This I see that this spider is uh hungry.
There's like a Got you.
There's like an animal outside.
Ah num num num num num num num num >> This one starts to get its color.
Oh, no, you're spilling out the roach.
Now there is roach milk coming out.
Um Grammostola pulchra key pulchra gui or Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait.
I need to double-check now with the YouTube site. I didn't like change the settings with the language.
So That's one of the worst ideas I I saw from YouTube recently.
At least uh give us the option to give us the option to turn it off.
>> I think it's easy.
>> Right.
Going like a storm here.
What's this?
Kochiana Kochiana brunnipes Those were re-housed last time.
If you still remember.
Look, they already started to make a tunnel here.
Tunnel goes up to here. Here is like a small opening.
That's cool.
So Let's try Let's try What's my language today?
Let's try to give this one a little roach. Okay, I cockroach cockroach Wait, I'm I need to use my left hand.
No.
Skål.
Welcome to the tarantula feeding show with the evil Polish tarantula man hoping to not get 50 likes on this [music] on the stream.
I'm pretty sure if this happens Maria will Oh.
>> [laughter] >> Have you seen that?
Um I'm pretty sure if that happens, uh Maria will come jump out of bed and say, "We are married. We are married."
>> [laughter] >> Mario, yes.
It's a little Mario mug.
I still need to see the new movie in cinemas.
But first we are planning to see Mando and Grogu.
But before we go there we want to finish season 3 of Mando. And um quick like a this the how do I change of course? Like not talking about about tarantulas. I kinda don't get why people were so angry at the third season.
Like Okay, back to tarantulas.
Uh I need to get back in tarantulas, but not easy finding what I want here in north Norway.
Nice to have you here from the deep north Norway.
Skål.
>> [laughter] >> I will make 50 happen. If that happens, um I will probably curl up in the corner.
But I'm a man of my word.
>> [laughter] >> So, um um Is that Jürgen?
Jürgen Rummelstall.
Um Let's say Jürgen because I I I I cannot see if there should be an umlaut or not.
Um if you need something, let me know.
Write me in on Facebook. Maybe maybe maybe there is something you want.
Oi.
>> [laughter] >> So, this is a male Grammostola pulchripes.
I really like this species.
I think they are a bit um Like they are not that much present in the hobby.
They're definitely not as common as as as Brachypelma smithi, and that's a bit of a It's a bit of a How is this called? It's a bit of a shame.
Since there is something cool about those.
Like that the Chaco Gold Knee tarantula.
You see the the the little knees they have like this golden markings.
Like everything else it it shows like oh, it looks like a like an like a T. albo, but then you see the knees and it's like this nice touch like a cherry on on the cake.
Super cool.
And let's give this one since this one is a bit bigger and will soon get a re-housing.
Do you want to eat?
Or do you just want to hug the roach?
No, just hugging today.
Um Stealth stalk 22, nice to see you here.
So Wait.
Aren't you supposed to be stealthy?
Hm.
It's gone.
Do you have a border control at Norway or Poland?
Um in between the EU, not really.
Um Norway is also part of the Schengen zone, so also theoretically no.
But times now are a bit weird, so I think there's some like in in some parts there's like part of border control.
Also, hello Jørgen.
That's my next T.
That's cool. Like this one? This is your next T?
See how fast they are? They move I need to take the epic chase.
Have [laughter] you seen that?
Also, 14 people in the chat room. Hi to everyone who was a bit silent today. So uh wait, it's the Mario mug.
So if that's your next, what's your What do you currently have?
That's like That's like one of the the I like this question.
Um not sure if you're a beginner or a more advanced keeper, but I really like to ask like if someone has like five, 10. Yeah, what what do you have already? Like that's always cool.
How how the hobby branches out for some people.
Uh bless we can go Scotland to England no probs, but over the water you go through flight through checks. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. I mean there are checks also at airports, so that's we're just the regular border control are are uh very relaxed.
So, yeah.
What's here?
Um oh, another kochiana. Also one of the the ones that we re-housed recently.
Hm, where is the spider?
Um the spider is a bit locked up.
So, I'll try to check slowly if if this spider wants food.
Normally when a spider locks up its cave, it's like um little house, then it's not really interested in food.
But it was lurking outside, so that might be like a No?
No, you don't want?
Hi.
Um A Grammostola pulchra Um that's a that was a pulchripes, by the way. Um a Grammostola pulchra yearling, three hamorii, two curly hairs, a wolf spider, and a brown widow.
Oh, that's cool. That's cool. I had um a and a Latrodectus That's like a black widow. Um Menavodi.
There's like a few that were available here.
Not the more dangerous ones, but like one of [music] the more casual ones.
They were cool to look for especially for outsiders.
But, the more you worked with them, they were like They were just hanging there.
Mm.
That's a good question for everyone.
What's your next T? For me, it would be the T. blondi.
That's a good choice.
Maria. And uh I'm I'm a bit angry that I almost had one.
And I didn't pull the trigger.
Although with um So, some words of caution for those people who want to try to get um Theraphosa.
They can be checked very early on if those are males or females [music] because they when they um are like first in star they are already very big. We have um Mm.
I can get you later. Like show you um N4 or L5 la um Theraphosa.
They are already super big.
And I have a probably a 2-year-old one.
Like not joking. They They are massive.
Um Nightbot says that we should all leave a like. Okay.
Mhm.
Oh, uh I don't do it do this. Do do What?
I don't do through Okay.
Uh they are an acquired taste and honestly not my favorite. You mean the brown widows?
Okay.
Avicularia avicularia uh Avicularia avicularia They They are nice.
Wait.
Mark calm down.
So this is uh Wait, what was the name? It's like a king baboon. Mhm.
Muticus Pelenobius muticus.
Africa, angry bitey venomous, toxic It's most like angry. This one probably won't eat.
I'll give that guy a close up.
This one won't eat.
It's still despite the fact that they live in um in Africa normally still needs like a small spritz here and there. They also need to drink.
Uh do do do Yeah, have 80 tarantulas and reptiles.
Um Um my next will be Harpactira pulchripes. I know it's available sometimes here, but not at the moment though. That's a good choice.
>> [clears throat] >> Take your time.
Don't rush.
If it's available, it it is available.
If it's not available, slowly.
It's very easy to get too much.
Um wait wait wait. I open this one.
It's also a Pelinobius muticus.
So, I'll be a bit more careful.
Um I would like to get a Victori next, but they can be expensive. Yes, they are also expensive here.
Although they are Oh >> [laughter] >> I wanted to have have a nice view for you.
Suddenly I saw the spiders in the corner. [laughter] Uh Um Clan of Clan of Critters.
Yeah, nice to have you here, Skull.
Nice [snorts] variety of next ups.
Yes, like next ups are good.
Just um be aware.
The spider The spiders will grow up.
They'll need some space.
They also need feeding.
This takes time.
Just saying. Hm.
Hm, I'm pretty new to the hobby, but uh by the way, um Zor Zoroko.
Zoroko.
Yes, Zorgoch the destroyer. Skull.
All hail Zorgoch.
I'm pretty new to the hobby, but I'm planning on ordering an El Paraheban and Grammostola Quirogai soon. Very excited.
Good job. That's a very good choice.
That is a very very very good choice.
We have we showed a Quirogai.
Like They're still with the old name.
Um, the LP, my LP, like my main LP.
Is there. That's Isa.
It's like massive. Very good choice for first tarantula. Don't listen to potential naysayers cuz they are cheap, available, and just [music] brown and stuff. They They are fantastic as beginner tarantulas. Both choices are actually very good.
So, here's the um, Quirogai.
They're uh, enjoying a meal.
I mean the the previous name was Grammostola pulchra.
Uh, under the name Uh, the the this one is named Idunn.
Grammostola pulchra, the black Grammostola. Both choices are fantastic.
Oh, I There's so many so much so many people of you and I need to refill my cup, but I 17 people, guys.
Yeah, you all want to see me suffer with the um, Nhandu chromatus pairing, right?
Or you want to make Maria happy, or both?
It's actually It's actually nice of you. Thank you very much.
Um Very cool. Yeah. Evening and welcome, Jay. Jay XXJboy07XX. Jay.
Good evening.
Let's go.
Right, let's get to the next spider.
Another vagans. Another vaganso.
Uh it's all about Maria.
Yeah, sure. Yeah.
Yes.
>> [laughter] >> Um Um yeah.
Maria is probably laying in bed right now and laughing.
I think she's right there.
>> [laughter] >> Um What about me?
It's Kale, but YouTube is being difficult. Tell me about it. You know, the live chat that I'm currently seeing, it says that I'm too dumb for English.
And it translates everything into Polish and um Last stream, it translated stuff um Um what's the What's the word like lewd?
I think that's the correct word.
Not Not very nice. Not very nice.
Connected with um this species, the the Brachypelma vagans, you can you can figure out the rest.
So, yep. Um YouTube has definitely its issues, but nonetheless, all in all, it's uh such a wonderful platform where people who are doing the same hobby can meet up, talk with each other.
Sometimes a troll comes in, and people are not feeding it, and stuff like that.
It's It's all small ecosystem, and that's cool.
Ornithoctonus aureotibialis, um Maria told me today that it looks fantastic.
So, let's check that.
We have a pet hole.
Let's see. Maybe Maybe Maybe we can lure it out. 18 people in the chat room, guys. You're crazy.
Can we beat the record today?
The troll has arrived. Ah, there he is, the man, the myth, the legend. OC, nice to have you here. Let's go.
>> [laughter] >> Don't feed him. Don't feed him.
He'll create more tarantulas.
>> [laughter] >> Okay. Let's check if the aureotibialis is coming out.
Maria saw it recently.
It supposedly looks fan- fantastic.
I haven't seen.
Which makes me angry.
Come out.
Come out.
Uh, okay.
An offering for you.
Dear lady.
There it is, lady.
Uh, we still have some so many spiders to feed, so >> [snorts] >> Um, yours past, you mean like your Avicularia metallica. Sorry to hear [music] that.
>> [snorts] >> Are you all right, Wami?
And the dog is making sounds.
Needs to sneeze.
Hey, Osman. How are you doing, Kale?
Um, yeah.
YouTube is being difficult.
Also, like um, generally doing stuff on YouTube right now is it's getting harder and harder because um, machines are making videos now.
Like not really good videos, but still you cannot keep up with that.
So, yeah.
Uh, hey, all good. Thank you. How are you? Like uh, me and Maria, we are doing fine despite despite the fact that Maria's currently having uh, uh uh, cluster headache episode. So, that's not so cool, but other than that Life's Life's good.
Oh oh epic chase.
Epic chase.
With a bit of salad, of course.
Could you imagine that uh like more than 10 years.
Was it 2006 when they changed that?
That this was previously a Brachypelma.
20 people in the chat room, guys. What's going on here?
It's cool to everyone.
Get Gabe Gabe, I so glad I made it in time. Nice to have you here, Gabe. Let's go.
What What's going on here?
Probably someone uh invited you all here to do a little deep presentation of the like button. So, I don't have any arguments um against pairing a T. pepi.
I see. I see.
So, to all all of you who don't know about this um a little um Yeah, I said it out li- loud during a live stream that if a live stream will get 50 likes, we will pair a Nhandu chromatus and I know I know I know.
It will be a pain.
Will be a pain. 2,000 [music] spiderlings. If it if it were if it will work.
But nonetheless, I'm a man of my word despite the fact that I did like uh That was a stupid idea to say that, but I will keep the word.
We have an adult female and I think we have a semi-adult or adult male.
Mhm, I recently got two vagans slings.
Excited to raise them. They are They are very cool. They are definitely feistier than Brachypelmas.
When they are bigger, they have fantastic colors. So, if someone says you are but they are cheap, they are not premium.
They are fine.
They are fine. Some of the best-looking tarantulas are the cheap ones. So, take for example the um Psalmopoeus irminia.
Super cheap tarantulas, especially here like in Central Europe. Very cheap, but fantastic-looking.
Also, uh Koi MMO 222. Nice to have you here, Skull.
Right.
Let's go to the next one.
Oi.
What was that? Cyaneous.
Ci- Citharacanthus canthus Oi.
Uh I need to do the Googly goo.
And let's see. Cyaneous.
Uh Citharacanthus cyaneous. There we go.
Right.
Named Merit.
Oi.
Obese.
Maria, don't tell them never enough.
three Peppi 2003 Peppi is a bit too much.
Also, Aloha, thank you very much for helping this whole thing like getting speed like because without your like saying like, share, and subscribe, this wouldn't keep going this this fast.
Like, thank you very much.
I think you know that, but I I still say it.
I need one for my collection. She is a beauty, Mark.
They are a beauty.
They are absolutely a beauty.
Also very calm. No, this one is not calm.
Look how fat she is.
She will explode.
on face.
They have a very weird cephalothorax.
Very roundish.
Almost a bit like and they they like have like a velvet velvet color velvety color.
More water.
I have an obsession with niche new worlds. That's cool.
Like Everyone has their own like pet alley in this exotic pet hobby. For me, it's arborials.
Especially those um fast and angry ones.
For Maria or Laetitia here in the chat room, it's small tarantulas. Like, dwarfies and everything around that.
Mhm, they look they look amazing newly molted. Right now, they are quite old.
No, they are beautiful. What do you want? They're amazing.
Davus pentaloris named Miranda.
I have all the fantastic memories with Davus pentaloris. Especially the three males that one female snuck.
Want to eat something?
Um she had to have a small little thunk.
Though we have to shame these ladies.
Mine were paired and never dropped sacks and Gunvor ate the male. Shame.
Yeah. Yeah, um my Davus pentaloris ate three males. She laid one egg sack and then she ate it after three days. Oh, well.
Always wanted one. Uh I love their coloring. They are fantastic.
They are absolutely fantastic.
Also, you see how how much webbing they are doing? That's so cool from them.
Oh, that's also something that I like. I like spiders that do a lot of webbing.
And um I know this is like for for YouTube, that's not really that's uncool because not visible, but I really like fossorial tarantulas because they are so hidden.
Or they are stealthy.
Right, Stealth?
Um has everyone anyone got hold of a Chilobrachys species tropical blue yet?
No, but I know what who had some and I know that um my spending did not allow it. Like I don't have the little this small change.
And they look absolutely gorgeous.
But no.
I have a strong will.
As you see in the background, I have a strong will when it comes to tarantulas.
I was talking to a breeder at BTS about tropical blue, but he lost some females and males not ready. So no tropical blue slings anytime soon. If he pairs, he probably won't sell.
Yep.
Yep. Yep. So a lot of holdbacks.
They might come into the hobby in like a few years. Might. Might.
And they they look fantastic. Oh, here's a Nhandu coloratovillosus.
With a little plastic planterino.
And she will eat, but first I need to read what's going on here.
None of my Ts like to web aside from curly hair adult female and the true spiders, of course.
Um the um adult female is probably doing some pheromone webs.
Put Put a dog.
Um I actually got to see my Harpactira gabonensis recently for the first time in months. This happens absolutely.
This happens.
Mhm, crunch.
Munch crunch, wait.
Munch crunch.
Is that webbing or or molt?
Like this here.
Mhm, looks like webbing.
Um, yeah, it's true. He invested a couple grand into females and lost three, so yeah.
Uh It's a retirement fund in a way.
Shame, but purely purely understandable.
Yeah.
I mean for some people this is this is their living, right? This is their bread, butter.
So let the breeders do the breeding.
It's not as easy as some people might as some people might think.
Cuz pairing is like 30% maybe, maybe 50.
There is always a bit of luck involved.
What was that?
Acanthoscurria geniculata.
He who cannot be named.
Yep, he doesn't have a name.
Then I mean that is his name. He cannot be named.
Unless you all think otherwise.
And there's a question. Uh, do you ever put live plants in any of your enclosures? I um hadn't had good success. I tried.
Um, but comes out that spiders are not really good gardeners.
Me, neither.
The only plants that I'm keeping is tomatoes on a balcony and a few cacti.
Everything that requires more attention than cacti is dying.
Even plastic plants.
Yeah, yeah, they are handsome. They are handsome. Those This is like golden standard of of tarantulas.
So, let's give this one um a roach arena.
>> [laughter] >> You seen that?
Beginner tarantula for some people.
Really?
Okay.
There we go.
>> [laughter] >> Oh, they look so cool.
It's like the classic the classic of classics.
Maybe he needs a name. I mean, he has a name.
He who cannot be named.
That's his name.
But he can have a nickname.
He will also eat the last roaches. They are They are mega eaters.
Ultra eaters.
Um He is a super eater.
John Doe, yeah.
>> [laughter] >> John Doe or in German there is Max Mustermann.
In Poland, Jan Kowalski.
I thought Smith was like this um um name placeholder thingy.
Um do you have to retrieve those runaway roaches? With this one? No.
Believe me, he will eat it.
Uh as for other spiders, depends. With big big spiders, you should, but if um most of the time nothing happens.
So, it's a good practice to remove them for um like uh how is this called? Like um cleaning the enclosure, that's a good practice.
Um with bigger spiders, the chances that the roach that the roach will um snack on on on a T, that's um very very very slim.
With smaller tarantulas though, the roaches can snack on the tarantula, so keep that [music] in mind. Uh call him Odin.
We have a dog named Odin.
Uh Australian Shepherd.
He's a rascal.
This is that.
That was not a take down.
That was a tear down.
Formic topus species Dominican purple male Let's give him some water.
21 people. Guys, you are on fire today.
Amazing.
Um John Maxwell Um I trained our new dog to hunt the roaches, so he usually deals with the runways. Yeah.
I think um the Elephants Gerald, by the way, nice to have you here.
Go.
The Elephants Gerald asked uh what about the roaches inside the in the the like enclosure, and they are fine.
My Dominican purple is male, too. Oh, that's uh Find someone who has a female.
And um you know the rest of the story like with the bees and flowers stuff.
Tell him you want 10 or something if something comes out.
That's something that's um I have the feeling that this is something in the hobby that uh has been a bit lost.
At least here.
Someone has a a male tarantula, someone has a female tarantula, you you write like a um DM on the forum or some something.
Yeah, I have the spider. Yeah, I have the spider. Okay, let's meet up and let's do the pairing.
Bonding moments in the hobby.
And now it's just like, yeah, send it.
Oh, what whatever.
Yeah.
Uh I'll give him to a breeder when he hooks out when he grows his biceps. Yes, absolutely do that.
Give a female, a thin one.
More.
And voda. Oh.
Molt.
Right.
Oh, there was the There were the crunches.
Yeah, the colors are starting to come through.
They are so cool.
And he wants to come out.
Orochi.
Oh, it's almost 9:00. We are um coming close to the the slideshow.
So, to those people who don't know, that was pretty like a few months ago this was a weekly part. I thought this is like too often.
Now we try to do it once every every month. Mhm.
There You see like there is like this uh group there in the description, not this one. This is a coffee, but there in the description there is a link to the tarantula group.
And we are doing this as like a a place to share pictures for everyone, so we can brag how cool tarantulas we have. But seriously, it's nice place, so everyone can share their cool stuff.
And we can be nice people in the hobby.
Cuz that's kind of my goal here to have like this safe space for everyone who have a bit enough of this um over-hyping of everything and being negative. No, let's let's be positive here. Let's let's make this hobby the hobbyist English.
Um We also had a male um Hapalopus sp. Nat Tarahumara, and there was zero interest in him. Yeah.
I have a pair of electric blue ready for pairing when I'm back home. Yeah. Like sometimes stuff happens that you have a male of of of something and they are suddenly despite the fact that they are on the rarer side, they are not interesting for some people. I don't know why, but yeah.
That is Lasiodora.
End of message.
Um yeah.
Um We also found but here's the reason same here. Good luck, Osman. Yes, good luck. Good luck with the pairing.
Oh, you want you want food? You want food? There we go.
Big jobster, I I I take that name.
>> [laughter] >> No democracy on that name here.
Big jobster.
Uh taxidermy is always an option if you keep the males until they pass.
Yes, it is an option. And taxidermy on males is a lot easier than with females.
21 people, let's have you all here.
To all of you who are a bit on the shyer side, I raise my cup for all of you.
Let's go.
That was Uh I think that was the Lasiodora klugi.
I think I had the klugi.
Ah, okay. I'm not good with old words.
What? Lasiodora is not an old world.
LP.
No, it's not an LP. It was an LK.
Right. Uh 9:00 9:00 um Let's do this a bit faster because we have still still 13 tarantulas to feed.
And we have to feed them.
Right.
Here we go.
Um I need to make like a um cheat sheet.
Who sent what? And there are some names that are very very difficult for me to remember.
Right. So, this one was sent by Aloha Tarantula.
And this is one of the more common species.
Um I feel bad to keep a male after he gets his muscles.
But each on their own. Yeah. Um if he um finds a female that's uh that's that's ideal.
Very pretty GBB. Yes, and this one is from Aloha Tarantula. Thank you, Susan, very much. This is a This picture shows a DL UI GBB, which is like one of the old-time classics.
Why they are amazing to keep.
Even um like Bil- Billie Eilish um had a GBB, like a male GBB. There's even like a recording of him online, so that's that's cool.
Uh all those uh legs are so brave. They are. And what's really cool about them is when they are small, they look completely different.
They look like having a marble pattern on their back, which is super crazy.
Uh 23 people in the chat room. So, um to all of you who don't know about the challenge that was issued like 3 weeks ago, if we get uh if you get 50 likes live stream, we will try to pair an N. tripeppi, which means uh there's a chance of 2,000 spiderlings.
That was like I I I said it like by by accident but I'm keeping my word.
And this is also from Aloha Tarantula.
So, this is a guess for all of you guys.
Whose Whose abdomen is this?
You can take a look at the legs. This is like a very very very very very good indicator what this is.
Uh Mark, I've paid these people to come to you.
Better pair the Theraphosa uh um Are there already 50 likes?
What?
Can someone check that for me? I have I have this the panel not visible. So, chat room, what is this spider?
What's the name of this spider?
The The legs are a very very good indicator. Also, Aloha Tarantula, fantastic fantastic picture. Yes, there we have it.
Uh skinny leg. Yes, those are both um Ephebopus murinus. That's uh one of the better ones. Like the very cool tarantula.
A very good Polish breeder.
Marius Aren't said You know this question, if you could keep keep only one.
The discussion, if you could keep only one, which one would you keep?
Um and he said this.
The Ephebopus murinus.
And this surprised me a bit until I saw um the female that passed like a few months ago. The The female from Maria. And when I saw the spider there's like uh one of my last um long-form videos. We tried to pair this spider.
The colors. Like I get it why they are so popular.
Um He looks handsome to a pal.
Right.
That's a fantastic species. By the way, if you want to share your exotic pets, you can do that that under the end of the description there is a link to the Drakkar which is like a group of all cool and nice and friendly people. And if you share something there we do like a uh uh once every while we do like a show what's what's going on there.
And sometimes there's like a very surprising stuff.
Uh also a classic classic from Africa, a classic from Togo. Um and I think also think like from surrounding areas.
Uh one of the angrier tarantulas in the hobby. Definitely very cool with the Disney villain eye mask near the near the eye copula.
Fantastic spider. I I I like this species so much and yeah, guys, what is this?
Um Fun fact about this regarding the Polish language, this this spider is called uh snow tarantula.
Yep.
Yeah. Yeah, pretty Hmac. It is an Hmac.
It's a classic. It's an absolute classic.
But don't worry, don't worry, we'll get to um more difficult species which makes me think maybe we should do like a Mm we also had like this format with uh with a like a trivia show.
Maybe we should also do that.
Like very soon in like 2 weeks. What do you think?
This species also from Allox tarantula.
Um I I I by accident I switched a very important detail with this spider because this spider has um two like subtypes if I may say so.
So, you you may guy guys you may guess what this is.
There will be some connoisseurs who know at least the the genus.
I vote for trivia. Oh, okay. People are voting for trivia. So, what what's about the rest? Do you want also a trivia show in 2 weeks?
You can win um big gratitude in the hobby. It's not an maculata. No.
Uh there there is the man who invented the spider and he's right. [laughter] Yes, it's a P. terestrial fusca island.
So, there is a cool trick to know why which is a highland and which is a lowland. The highlands the highland spiders are darker in color since they're like higher up in in the region. They need more sunlight to keep warm hence the color is darker.
Very cool.
Lowland just to be difficult. Um no, it's a it's actually a Highland. Um, >> [music] >> and this also misled me because the lowland has like an ivory color.
And I look at this picture, I see this like ivory hue, and I I think, "Oh, this must be a a lowland." No, it it is a Highland.
Very cool.
And I also think that this is from Aloha Tarantula. Yes, it is.
Um Ah, think you're behind.
>> [laughter] >> Um This genus is um something that Aloha Tarantula is known for. This is her favorite genus, maybe even favorite species, but who knows.
Um There's too many species to to ask about stuff like this. This is an Avicularia Colombia.
So, species Colombia. I think it's species Colombia.
I like Avics a lot.
They are super cute. They are very calm.
They are pretty docile. They do like those fantastic little nests on top.
Super cool to to see. Also, 23 people in the chat room. Nice to have you here.
Give us a sign.
Cool.
My own tarantula Oh, they have purple hues, too. Yes, they they do.
There's also the Avicularia purpurea, which is also with this purple hue.
Yummy colors.
Don't eat your tarantulas.
So, thank you very much.
Big hearts to you.
Um this picture is from our good friend Fen.
F E M.
Ah. I guess. I hope he's here right now.
It's called to It's called to you.
I think you you you might guess what this is but I think we have the experts here in the chat room.
Also to all of you the more potential pictures we can get in the group the easier it is for me to put more like different species.
So this will be this could be potentially very interesting.
So yeah.
So I don't I don't think I need to ask what this is. This is skeleton leg.
As at a very nice shot. So this is an Ephebopus murinus which is you know how cool it is that the murinus is shared between Chunky lish chunky lish is scary leg. Yes.
Isn't that funny that the murinus is shared between one of the angriest and one of the coolest looking tarantulas in the hobby.
OBT is also very cool looking.
You know what I mean.
Yeah Maya writes I miss my scary leg so much.
Yeah like this happened very fast. We don't know why. We gave the pairing a chance. Didn't work out and then the female decided to to just say bye.
This is a second one from Pam. I I think this is also um What is this called?
Um This is uh guessable.
So, what do you think?
And they are closely related to Psalmopoeus, right? Which one? Skeleton legs? Not really.
Uh I mean, they are all considered tarantulas, but Psalmopoeus are, for example, Psalmopoeus are arboreal.
Um they Are they part of the Aviculariinae?
Maybe.
I think yes.
But uh the Ephebopus is like uh purely terrestrial tarantula.
There we have it. It's a Birupes. That's a Birupes simoroxigorum.
Fun story. The name simoroxigorum uh is um names of are the names of the sons.
The sons of the discoverer or something around that. Like it's uh Simon uh Igor uh and and the Rox- Roxy Roxa Roxana.
That's all not the sons and the the kids.
Oh, yeah.
Like a fun fun fact.
Another great shot. Yes, the those shots are fantastic. I don't know Sometimes I'm hanging with a with um like a camera trying to get a good shot.
And some people are just casual like $10,000 shot right there.
OC is one of those people. Like his pictures are like Murinus means mouse, mouse-like. Oh yeah, yeah. Um Clan of Critters, I have like a book that came out like last year which tries to explain like the names and give the give those Latin names a Polish name.
So, it's really fun to read what those name name name those names mean.
Mhm.
Oh, gotcha. Thank you. I think I got.
Ephebopus is part of the Aviculariinae subfamily. Yes, just like the Heteroscodra maculata and the Cyriopagopus calceatum. Oh, that's cool.
Good to know.
Really? The Ephebopus is part of the Aviculariinae?
Woah.
That's cool. Cool to know.
Right.
This is not really a tarantula, but such a cute little picture couldn't I couldn't get past it. This is Dylan from Never Creek Critters.
Also, if you can check out her channel, she is also having like nice little content with exotic animals and and I think cats.
Also, cute doggo.
I like doggos.
Right.
You wanted something tough?
Here come the tough stuff. You see the OC man who is he is absolutely creating those tarantulas and all the names definitely.
So, um I think with the the ones that are barely barely speakable I'll uh I'll say no, there's no guessing.
This one is probably like on the edge of guessable with the stuff that's commonly available.
It's definitely not that common.
And there we go. That's the Namakensis. Yes, it is the Namakensis.
Yes, it is Harpactira Namakensis.
But it's it's like one of the tougher ones.
So, yeah.
Fantastic picture, OC.
I think we are slowly reaching to the place where um we are reaching to the unspeakable names. This is like one of the last few of OC.
No, this is the last one of OC that is um speakable in a way.
What do you think, guys?
Wishlist spider, which one? Namakensis?
This is uh Yeah, what is this? What is this?
The rarest color form.
I think the the word color form already suggested a lot.
Another Harpactira? No, no.
No.
No.
Oh, OBT. It is an OBT, yes.
So, this is uh Pterinochilus typical color form Mozambique.
There are so many color forms, so yeah.
P. murinus something.
>> [laughter] >> Wait, here come Okay, the next ones I I I won't ask you about what this is because this wouldn't be This wouldn't be fair.
So, here we have like this This really looks super cool. You see the color difference between all those uh segments, like the abdomen different color.
Um the uh cephalothorax different color.
The legs have also segments with different colors, which is super cool.
This is a Augacephalus junodi? Junodi? Junodi? I think.
Ah.
Maria, we need to get this one.
Very very high top right now uh on my uh want list.
Uh Cafretiana?
Cafretiana?
Can't spell. Like you you can't All tarantula names are like a spell.
Wow, nice. Yeah, they look cool. They look cool. Super pretty.
There's more.
Take a look at that.
So, guys, oh.
Wait, I've I've named the name before.
It's an Auga This one is an Augacephalus Au Augacephalus u n o d Wait.
Take a look at this one.
This is [music] absolutely phenomenal.
Super phenomenal.
Okay, this This is slowly getting into territories of um never heard of that, but looks sounds cool and amazing.
That one is gnarly. He looks fantastic.
What do you want? The carapace and markings, yes. He looks like out of this world.
I I want one. Like really.
So, this is Cyriopagopus.
Cyrio Cyriopagopus schmidti and I've written like down like Kebangku gold.
So, it's probably like a sub sub type thing.
He looks out of this world. He looks phenomenal.
I I don't even want to ask how much they cost because he looks expensive.
Cyriopagopus, yeah. Wow.
Oh, the next one. The next one is like a tongue twister and and this comes from a poll.
Stunning boy, they are stunning. They look stunning and I want one so badly.
Kebangku locality gold form, yeah.
Looks cool. Super super super super cool. I want one.
So, here we come to like the dangerous name territory.
Uh I I can't I can't ask you to to to name that like That's That's a Thaleromma Thaleromma yukpa.
They If I saw that correctly, they change a bit in color afterwards when they get bigger, but the markings look cool.
Super cool. They remind me a bit of like the real tarantulas, like the wolf spiders.
Like but yeah.
Very nice.
Very nice. You know what? I need to do something.
I need to like put those names into the descriptions, maybe with like timestamps, so everyone can see what's going on.
And what now?
Uh Thaleromma yukpa.
Mhm.
Yeah, Ociek makes up those names on the fly.
Yeah. Or or he takes a a ball, throws it on the keyboard.
Ociek, thank you very much.
Absolutely fantastic.
The last person who sent me a few pictures, I I'm not good with scorpions. Yeah, this is a scorpion.
This is a scorpion, as you may see.
Um But like my knowledge about scorpions ends with there is like Buthidae family, there is um uh how are they called? Like um I forgot the Thelămetrus and Pandinus. Then that's all my knowledge.
Um Rob, he he he said hi here. Maybe he's Maybe he's still in the chat room.
He uh He has become like scorpion crazy.
It's a lobster. It is Yes, it is a [laughter] lobster. So, here's the lobster's name.
It's um Herilio's uh Herilus celebensis.
He looks cool. He looks nice.
Cool color.
A rob vertebral pop a dot a chunk. [laughter] A scorpion species fat.
>> [laughter] [laughter] >> Roblex and chunky right.
>> [laughter] >> Many more crazy species, but need to rehouse them back home.
More to come for future streams.
Look. If I'm close I wouldn't be I wouldn't be surprised if I'm like around the area where you live and there is somewhere like this huge tarantula factory.
>> [laughter] >> Absolute champion. OC.
Every There's like a you can all send him like a a heart like I'm doing right now.
The man who invented tarantulas.
Right. Um back to the chunky boys here.
This one isn't not so chunky.
So, this is a Liocheles species Kanchanaburi Kanchanaburi Kanchanaburi Kanchanaburi I I think I'm better with scorpions.
First OC and now we have Rob who is like the scorpion OC.
They probably cooperate with each other.
Who creates the craziest creator?
Kanchanaburi we have we have to ask.
>> [laughter] >> Maria I'm the expert in dead jokes dead jokes not you.
That's my thing.
Okay?
So this is a Hadogenes variegatus.
Variegatus so that that would mean like variegata like different.
I need to check that.
So Hadogenes Hadogenes variegatus Bobert king of scorpions Bobert can can be king of scorpions.
RB scorpions He likes his scorpion chunky.
I assume these are all gravel drops.
They they kind of look gravel yes.
Uh we have to see wait and see. The next one is definitely not grab it.
That's a Cyriopagopus sp.
cyaneopubescens.
With babies on top who are catching a free ride.
I really like scorpions, such cool creatures. Yeah, like um we have those um Tricarinatus. They're cool. They're very cool. They're very funny to to to to to observe.
But they can have a very nasty um little like it ouch if they sting.
Mhm, not fun.
>> [laughter] >> I I I would also love to see um small scorpions being born. That's that's really something that I want to experience. That and um mantids.
Cuz I haven't seen that.
Yeah, we all do the fingers crossed thing.
Important.
And I think uh Rob will be more successful with that than with me pairing Nhandu tripepii.
Last picture of today.
And then we go back to the feeding.
Very eventful day today. I like that.
Um You see the picture here like this Pamphobeteus is not purple. It's the purplest.
Deep purple. [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] stuff. No, that was not that was the worst deep purple imitation I could have done.
So, this is Omigbod species Dominican purple.
And this is how they will look when they are adult.
Or like very close to adult.
They are fantastic. I have two of them somewhere there. Somewhere there on the top. I have a subadult male and a subadult female. And they are absolutely gorgeous.
They just need to grow a bit.
Oh, so many fingers crossed. Yes, everyone fingers crossed.
And then of course share what's going on in your scorpionarium.
Scorpularium.
The scorpularium, yes.
So, to everyone who is sharing stuff in the group or sending stuff to me, thank you very much. A big heart.
Um so for today we have had Aloha Tarantula, we had Aussie Tarantulas, we had Rob Invertebrate Bob.
And we had F E M and Niffler's Critters of course with Dylan.
Big hearts to all of you and skull.
And we go back to the table.
Right.
So, if you like angry spiders, this one is an angry spider.
Full of webbing.
This is a Ceratogyrus.
You can see that by the horn.
The horn looks barely visible.
What this tarantula needs is a chubby protein shake in form of a roach.
Wait.
Oh, now you can see the horn.
There it is.
There it is.
What do you mean that this one is nice?
This guy is not nice. This is a Ceratogyrus. Have some respect for for African tarantulas. You need to call them mean and angry.
That's what all the other YouTubers say, okay?
Wait.
Yeah, it's they are nice. They are They are cool.
Uh just don't just don't handle them.
She's nice and calm. She is. She is. She behaves.
Let me out even.
I don't know that word even.
I need to I need to check that later.
Neoholothele incei gold.
That's a That's a very cool species. I really like this species.
As one of the first because [music] this is like a good first speedy tarantula.
Very cool.
They are not big.
Some might think that they are on the smaller side. They are like uh small to medium.
But they can be fast, like very fast.
But they do that in like small bursts.
Okay, but I don't know where the vent will come out.
No.
I'll just give water and Cuz before this spider will come out, we'll all turn gray.
Right.
What do we have here? Oh, yeah.
Psalmopoeus species, full green.
Still small.
The word means timid, unassuming. Okay.
Right.
Um Psalmopoeus.
Full green. Not green yet.
But full of speed and full of anger.
Now Psalmopoeus Psalmopoeus are very cool.
Do you want to eat?
Mhm.
That's a good question.
It is a good question.
Of course.
Of course it wants to eat.
Really cool.
Nice.
So, while we are here chatting a bit.
If you want uh If you want to um watch something very like bizarre when it comes to hobby law and um basically like a very weird situation.
Um just this week came out a fantastic I would say it's it's hard hardly to say if that it's like journalist work.
But it's like so well done about one of the one of a very big let's say um to say this.
Lego skips in a way.
Um check out like um What was like the name? Reckless Ben's channel.
They made a video that uh big chain with uh Lego stuff uh has stolen someone's collection worth over $200,000.
Uh definitely worth re- like checking out.
The whole documentary I've I've listened to it in or or like journalist work I have I've listened through it in in like one go.
Super well done.
Also, you will feel very angry at the main antagonist of of this whole thing.
Uh this is a Citharacanthus cyaneopubescens, by the way, named Gunvor.
Oi.
I think they look so weird.
They look so weird.
Yeah, you want to drink? I'll give you water, of course, of course.
Uh new ones look very clean. No bald spots on abdomens. Yeah.
Cuz they are not stressed.
Gunvor ate her husband. Shame on you, Gunvor.
It was a a rapid divorce.
He know his destiny.
His destiny was her belly.
Oi.
So, there is the beast.
The one that's No.
So, this is a Nhandu tripepi.
Oi.
We are closing in to the last molt.
Yes, I touched the water.
I touched the water.
Oi.
Rhea.
Nhandu tripepi.
Oh, every time [snorts] I hear Nhandu tripepi, yeah.
So, um here we have a Dolichothele diamantinensis. Some people are very angry if I say that this is a mini green bottle blue.
But, take a look how those They look like small green bottle blues.
And I'm not regretting that. Also, nice nice shot here.
Cool.
I like them.
And Mariam, uh where I was able to breed them.
And there were >> [music] >> ma- many many many very mini Dolichothele diamantinensis.
So, now on Tsitsas, this This a Grammostola rosea.
Uh she has enough. I'll check if she wants to eat something, but probably not.
I was wrong.
We're almost there.
She didn't eat the stuff today.
That's the female. Oh.
No, no kicking.
So, this is a Brachypelma albiceps.
Oh, what? Yeah, that's that's what I get for giving food?
Kicks of hair. Thank you very much.
Look at my pressure here.
Doris, nice name for a spider.
Um this one doesn't have a name, so but I don't know if this is a female. I guess it is.
I'll name Doris.
Doris B. albiceps Also, we need to have a nice close-up of the spider.
They are nice. I like them.
Typical Brachypelma Yeah.
Here, here's food for you. Oh, no. No.
Yeah, that that is kind of Brachypelma.
The last one The last one had Dolores.
Uh the Doli- The Dolichothele has Astrid.
Wait.
Really?
Oh, yeah. Wait, there was a Oh, no.
Okay, we need to change that. We cannot put Dolores.
There we go.
Yeah, right. There's Dolores.
And there is Dolores and Boris.
Dolores. DeLorean, maybe.
OBTTCF Typical color form.
Dolores Like the pink professor from Harry Potter.
Okay, no. I see you don't want Okay.
Can you locate it if you ever want to breed her. Okay.
Uh I'll write that down.
The the the little man a a row with Maria from from a walk.
Kenya Kenya Kenya Four more left.
I think we call can call that a a day successfully. What is this?
Why is there so much stuff?
So much web.
And then that's a Balfouri Mhm.
My central piece Balfouri I was just tearing this down like like nothing and in one of those enclosures we have a Balfouri baby.
So, yeah.
Boop.
Not in this one though.
Uh The spider is offspring. Her mother is at my house looking nice. That's cool.
That's cool.
So, part of of your um pairings is is currently here. So, I also need to send stuff to to you, right?
That's how this works.
But, since you are you you've created all tarantulas, I don't know what to send to you.
Oh, look at tarantula's a sister. Oh, that's cool.
That's cool. Like a little family.
Wait.
Is it angry spider?
What's this?
Oh, Dominican purple. This one Wait.
Angry.
Okay, first you get food.
Wait. Wait. Wait.
And one roach runs out.
Valhalla molted couple days ago. I hope to get big soon. Yes. Um and we were a bit unfortunate with the Cyriopagopus species, Valhalla.
Sadly, it started to turn out into a male, and then one day it started to get uh dyskinetic syndrome, and despite our best efforts, uh we couldn't save it.
I look Sometimes it works, the the the ways of saving a tarantula from DKS, but sometimes you can't do anything. If there's You already have a few of them.
Okay, you want one more.
Okay.
They're feisty. They want to eat.
They eat a lot.
I said, I hope you can get another eventually. First, kindergarten.
Then, new. things.
That's fine.
There has to be a certain order, so the mental health is in uh good shape.
Two more left.
So, we have uh Bumba Horida.
Where is the spider?
Mhm.
Okay, I'll just give water because I don't know if the spider will come out.
First, 2,000 nandos.
You all want me to Wait, did did we crack the the 50 likes?
One part of me is like, yes. The other part is, no.
No, guys, don't tell me that we have the 50s the the 50 uh likes.
You need to confirm that because I I cannot see uh on the panel that we have the 50 likes.
That would be absolutely insane.
And I would curse the Mark from 2 weeks ago for for saying this.
But I will keep my word.
Hello.
Spider where?
Where's spider?
What is this?
Theothel mira. Ah.
Ah, just 20 21 likes is a lot. That's that's a lot, but not 50.
But we'll get there. Like it's crazy.
Today we had like 24 people in the stream.
Isn't that crazy? This this this small family is growing.
Where is the Ah, there it is.
We'll see. Maybe we'll catch that.
There's something moving.
No. No.
I see 50 if I close my eyes.
50 in spirit.
We we We will get there eventually.
This um Taking on this burden it has it has to be a bit special, right?
Unless someone is doing this professionally, then yeah.
And I think even professionals will would think twice or even like 30 times before they decide on uh breeding nando.
Right.
The tower of tarantulas have been fed. I need to clean the camera.
The tower of tarantulas have been fed.
So, yeah.
I would like to thank you all for joining me today. This This stream was fantastic.
Wait, what?
We might get lucky and only get 500 things.
Good.
Good buddy, yes.
So, uh yeah. I would like to thank you all. I need to I need to check everything here because yeah.
Um What? It cut It cut part of the Oh.
So, I would like to thank ZorbLock, Levicorpus who is currently killing there.
Listen Exotics, um Jay JK Mhm.
Bob Rob Rob Rob the invertebrate Bob, OC tarantulas, Aloha tarantula, Nefferscritters Koymo, toot toot toot.
Uh Gabe Gabe Gabe Gabe Gabe.
Gabe Gabe.
Um Appa bison, of course.
