Grok + Hermes Agent = INSANE Combo

[00:00:00]So, this is really exciting for anyone who's using Grok. You can now use Grok directly inside Hermes Agent. Mhm. And mostly for free. Yeah.

[00:00:10]>> [laughter] >> So, uh this is actually rather interesting because Grok is what What's your take on Grok? It's definitely super fast, that's for sure. Uh it can search X posts, which is actually a lot of models. Yeah, I mean that's something that's um blocked off normally, right?

[00:00:24]So, if you ever want to collect information and gather intel or have your agent to gather intel on X, usually you have to pay something, right? And now Grok can do that directly for you.

[00:00:37]And since um if you have a X Premium, so this is only included in the X Premium Plus. I It's a little bit confusing, we'll go through which which accounts includes what.

[00:00:48]Uh but if you have Premium Plus, you have access to Super Grok, which means now you can integrate that into uh Hermes for free. Okay, so if you if you're a Premium user, Premium Plus user, okay? So, this is when you're paying Elon a lot of money, Elon's like, "Yeah, I'll I'll I got a surprise for you."

[00:01:05]>> [laughter] >> Or if you are on Grok. So, if you have a separate Grok subscription, I don't know anyone who pays for this, uh but if you have a separate Grok uh subscription that costs $30 per month, then this can go for you, too. Um or if you guys are thinking about it, I think the the key here is X Premium actually gives you a lot. Like we we actually paid for X Premium because it gives you a lot of accessibility. So, we we actually have to pay for this uh $30 a month, but um it gives us a huge reply boost. So, if you're ever wondering, you know, why we pay for this, it's because you know, we want people to see our posts.

[00:01:40]But anyways, we'll show you in this video specifically focusing on this feature, and we'll show you how to set it up as well. So, this was This was um uh just added like 6 hours ago. Yeah. Um Okay, do you want to Do you want to show tell us what's part of this package? Uh so, I think here what's impressive is it's not Yeah, it's OAuth. It's not API call, which is a big deal. Uh-huh. Uh, and uh, cuz with with API call, you have to top up every time, and that's what makes it expensive, but also like it's slower, too, because of the requests, all right?

[00:02:13]So, um, with OAuth, it's much more smooth.

[00:02:17]Yeah, and it's one account across everything? Yeah. So, basically, it's tied to your X. So, if you're already part of this, um, I'm going to make my screen make this window a little bit bigger, but it's one account tied to everything.

[00:02:28]Um, and then because it's part of the package, you're hoping that Elon gives you generous limits.

[00:02:33]>> Yeah. Usually, what we did notice for um, Grok, so this is Grok 4.3, it can understand text conversations, it has text-to-speech, and it has imagine. We actually generally find that imagine, while it's not the strongest um, of image generators, it still makes images.

[00:02:49]It's sometimes just it's still sometimes good. So, overall, like, if it's free, I'll use it, and if if it's fast, I'll use it. And I think those are the two main reasons why I would ever use uh, Grok inside Hermès is because of speed, and because of what um, Twitter search, and because of image generation.

[00:03:06]>> Yeah, definitely, Twitter search is number one for me, personally. Uh, yeah.

[00:03:09]It makes a lot because um, Twitter is actually a big source of information, even for AI news.

[00:03:14]>> Yes. Right? Like, all the AI news announcements come on Twitter first. So, getting that uh, into your agent, and letting your agent understand what's happening on the news side is very big.

[00:03:24]Okay, so, uh, we'll show you how it's done. So, basically, uh, if you want to do Hermès, if you don't see it, make sure you update your model. So, we have Grok it up here. Um, we just did the Hermès update, so Hermès update. Just make sure that is upgraded, and then you can see Hermès model. So, let's take you through the um, adding this um, as part of it. So, uh, first and foremost, let's try to find X.

[00:03:49]>> [laughter] >> X Grok off. So, this is a super Groq subscription.

[00:03:55]And this also applies to X Premium as well. So, I just select that. Let's go Groq Groq here. And then you have to open this with your browser. And once you click the authorization link on your browser, you just make sure that goes through and then authorize and you're good to go. So, that's actually the setup is actually trivial at this point.

[00:04:12]You can use multiple models and I think the most key feature that you will be looking for is X Search. So, by having that directly as part of your agent >> Yeah. you're you can access to a lot.

[00:04:22]I've seen actually a lot of people already starting to use this as a functionality for pinned posts. So, I actually saw that there was another project that was Icarus is actually adding people who can scan up threads different threads on X and then adding information and intelligence for that.

[00:04:39]>> Mhm. So, I think these are like the kind of a key features you want. It's not just about access to X's access to all that wealth of information on X.

[00:04:46]>> Yeah. I can see a lot of use cases especially with the bookmarks. Everyone bookmarks on their X and everyone knows how annoying it is to scroll all the way down and that knowledge becomes like >> [laughter] >> useless over time. But I think yeah, with this we can definitely make use of the growing knowledge base that we've accumulated over the past few years, right?

[00:05:06]>> Exactly. And it's kind of interesting we actually saw this what people are asking what about Open Claw?

[00:05:12]>> [laughter] >> Yeah. And all X seems to be favoring Hermes right now and that makes sense cuz Hermes is self-evolving. It's seems to be like the one that Elon doesn't hate so much.

[00:05:23]>> Yeah. And and a lot of integrations for Hermes agent last week it was Nvidia. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.

[00:05:31]And I think it makes sense like right now in the current wars of just like ending notes on this.

[00:05:37]Um XAI has a lot of computational resources. They lend some of that out to the enemy of their enemy >> [laughter] >> which is Anthropic.

[00:05:45]They all hate Open AI.

[00:05:48]And open AI has open claw, right? So, I don't actually see this feature coming available for open claw for some time because of the politics that's going on.
