[00:00:00]During World War II, Poland enlisted a bear to  help fight Nazis. He was adopted and officially drafted to the Polish army as a private with his  own paybook, rank, and serial number. They named him Voytech. He learned to salute, march, and  wrestle soldiers. He also loved drinking beer and ate lit cigarettes whole. He carried 100 lb  artillery shells in battle and never dropped one.
