This content expertly packages standard solar cycles as imminent global threats to fuel a narrative of existential dread. It is a prime example of how empirical data is often weaponized for sensationalism rather than genuine scientific education.

The Sun Awakens - Heightened Alert Level | S0 News May.11.2026Added:
Good morning, folks. Welcome observers.
It is Monday, May 11th, 2026, and today we're going over an uptick in space weather. We'll need a bit more eyes open than the last week. We've got interesting new science on big blasts from stars. One we know about already and another breaking the rules again.
This is the last 24 hours on our star and top left is the only place to watch.
An M5.8 solar flare erupted yesterday in violent fashion, unleashing a large CME.
The coronal hole is still chugging on.
We'll face Earth tomorrow and solar wind arrives by Friday. The eruptive event was off to the side as we look at the sun and far enough north to send most of the plasma upward and away from the planetary plane. The coronagraph shows that indeed most is heading out that way. And Noah's endless spiral shows a pretty tight CME and it's confined to the ejection vector. I think this is wrong. NASA's version is a little better. Not only do they have the wide breath to the CME, but it's much closer to the Earth. But even this falls short, and you can prove that to yourself with your own eyes. The GO coronagraph shows plasma eector going down, going up and to the right. This is a titanically wide burst. Those endless spirals are model failures not capturing the full breadth.
This CME does have a chance to deliver a glancing blow to Earth tomorrow or Wednesday. It won't be much, but these smaller ones are where we need to see their space weather analysis good enough to trust them when the big one happens.
They messed this one up big time. By the way, that bright planet coming in from the right is actually Little Mercury. It is swinging in behind the sun on its orbit there.
And we're going to stay out here for just a moment. A new study, and not a great one, used a new estimation method to guess the flare peak of the 1859 Carrington event. Their best guess is bad, X25. And even they acknowledge that doesn't make a ton of sense, which is why they loudly proclaim their total error range, X3 to X200.
The higher end of that range is a bit more like it. They know it. And you can tell they wrote the professor version of saying so. But our top story today comes to the fastest nova ever seen rise and fall in a day. And best of all, it's not at the Chandra Sakar limit. Not a season has passed this decade that a NOVA event didn't break the rules. Airgo. I remain firmly on the hill yelling that they don't know NOVA, but we do. And we'll discuss every aspect of the disaster in the state of the earth tour. The magnetic pole shift, the solar micronova, disaster cycle, galactic magnetic reversal, solar system shift, what to do, how to survive, and how to pull the phoenix out of yourself.
Seattle, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles. It begins August 22nd in Seattle, Washington. The core science, philosophy, and strategy will be delivered in full. We are still planning to announce some special guests for the first five events, but Jimmy Corsetti, Bright Insight, will be in Phoenix. A special event called Before and After. And we conclude the tour with poll shift 2. The ethical skeptic Roger Cunningham is coming back. And this time, we will resolve all issues once and for all on how the Earth tilts. All cities are now open. State of the Earth tour. Links found right down there below the video. It's the year of the prepper, and given what next year will be, everyone thinks this will be the last chance for me to come out and see you.
I'm 50/50, but getting more nervous by the day. We greatly appreciate your support. Can't wait to see you in person. We'll do this all again tomorrow, right here. But right now, it's 5:15 a.m. in the new Valley of the Sun.
Eyes open. No fear. Be safe, everyone.
