Athletes who maintain their authentic, private personas tend to preserve their public aura and respect, while those who engage in attention-seeking behaviors or controversial activities often lose their public image and legacy. The discussion uses Tom Brady's career as an example, noting how his seven Super Bowl victories built an aura that diminished when he participated in activities like the Logan Paul incident and WWE appearances, which were perceived as desperate attention-seeking rather than authentic expression.

Is Liking Home By 3 A Red Flag?
Added:Uh there's a guy moving a carpet here.
Like you know when you just got to wait at the house for blueco collar guys to show up and do [ __ ] I was uh my mom I don't know what my mom's doing but she asked me that and the guy like wouldn't leave the [ __ ] house dude. I'm like dude I got to record a podcast like downstairs. It was a massive carpet but >> Yeah. What do you want? Two two over medium.
>> What does that mean?
>> What do you want? Two eggs over medium.
What do you need fella?
>> Yeah. You want me to cook you breakfast, dude? Get the [ __ ] out of here. trying to record a show.
>> Want some French toast?
>> Don't open that carpet either. Dead body in there. Anyway, welcome into the show everybody. This is HB3 Live Tuesday, July uh 21st.
>> Dog days, dude.
>> Yeah, they they are the dog days. So, what exactly were you doing? You're you're telling kids how to make it to the NHL? Like, what's going on?
>> Yep. Folks, welcome into the show. 9393 931. We are live. Some people are saying this was recorded, pre-recorded, that it isn't live. This is [ __ ] live. So, whatever you say about George Floyd or Ryan Clark will and could be used against you. But yeah, man. I was uh so I have a buddy that works in the city, works for Topline Hockey, built this really good brand of just developing the next Wayne Glennkies of the world.
Justin Selman, good New Jersey dude.
Works in the city now. Has a couple different rinks. He's got NHL guys skating with him, but they're running these camps over the next couple weeks.
and me and Sy had played together in Chicago. He's like, "Hey, you want to pop on and and talk to these kids about what's uh how to make it to the next level?" And apparently before I got on, they were showing the boys our tennis video of our one-on-one.
>> They're like, "This is the guy.
>> This is the guy coming on.
>> He mentioned George Floyd 52 seconds into the pod and this is the guy that we have to listen to.
>> This is the guy you're bringing on. He's got a wig and he just got out of the cold tub. He was strictly icing his right arm. his buddy that he's playing just went to Chili's and got drunk on a Wednesday at noon. These are the guys that you want to bring on. So, uh, it was good though. It was good. I I really had to dial it in and dumb it down because a lot of times you talk to grown adults and they have no idea what I'm saying. Now I'm talking to 12 and 13 year olds, some 14 year olds, um, about getting to the next level. Uh, I thought I did well though. I I I kept it between the lines.
>> Yeah. I mean, I feel like you could articulate well, tell them to stay off the dust, you know, stay off the Jagger.
Um, you know, don't try to whack your bullet mom unless you're Rouson Fedenko and you end up falling in love with her and and that's an everlasting marriage.
So, that's huge. But, yeah, I uh for them to watch you on a podcast or a show and then to hear you out about professional hockey has to be funny. I will ask you this. Is this one of these like fantasy camps to where all the parents think their kids are going to make it to the league, but they actually all suck and it's a gigant a gigantic money grab or do some of these kids actually have potential?
>> I think some of them are actually pretty good. Yeah, I think they they kind of weed out the pigeons. Now, listen, just because you're good at 13 years old playing AAA hockey for the North Jersey Avalanche doesn't mean little Johnny's going to make it to the NHL. However, I do think they have potential to at least level up. That's how I always look at it. Like people, the funny thing is is when you hear a parent talk about a 13 or a 14-y old hockey player and they're like, "Oh yeah, he's got NHL potential."
Well, let's see what he does in midgeta next year first and then if he's good enough to go to the USHL, let's see what he does in the junior ranks playing against guys that are four years older than them that might jump them. So, it's always just funny to me that these kids, you know, and their parents just hype them up so much. However, I did ask right away, how many of you guys have gotten laid yet? And the room was silent.
>> See, that's the problem, too, with adversity. Let's see what happens to these kids when they get into the dust.
Let's see what happened to these kids when they get their first bong. It's like you, you know, anybody could be promising at [ __ ] 13, right? And the last thing I want to do is get on here and be disrespectful about my sister, but she went to Boston College, great school, she was on scholarship, and now all she does is go to Burning Man and Coachella, right? Massive disappointment for my entire family. But at third, not that she not that I'm not a disappointment. I'm I'm an even bigger disappointment, but we'll get into that later on the show.
>> But you didn't have the BC you didn't have the BC pedigree. You you weren't an Eagle.
>> No, I wasn't. And when you're going to BC and you're like, you're this promising scholar and you know, she has such a bright future. But then she gets the $40,000 VIP tickets to Coachella and things change. So when these kids, they start getting into the ladies, they start getting into the the dust and the grass and they, you know, they listen to Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent for the first time, things change, man. Maybe I don't know if they're listening to that kind of [ __ ] but like when I was when I was a kid, I I Dude, I thought I was going to be the best player of all time.
>> Oh yeah.
>> I seriously thought that I was going to break records. I was going to win cups, dude. I was going to win a lot of cups.
>> Yeah. I thought I was going to be a I thought I was going to be a 50 goal scorer as a defenseman. You know what I mean? Like that's that's the craziest thing. And and you you make a great point is let's see how these kids develop and let's see how they handle just external things that happen in their life. Like imagine being Tom Brady's kid right now, right? Like you grew up and your dad was a seventime Super Bowl champion. You think you're going to replicate that and all of a sudden you end up at a World Cup final game and your dad's flipping off Jake Paul and you realize he has a ton of chin filler and he's a massive douchebag. Like that's got to be tough, dude. Not only was his wrench small enough where his wife had to leave him, your mom, now he's swooping down to a level of just tick tockers and YouTubers, guys like us, like you hold your dad to such a high standard and a high pedigree because he's such a champion and one of the best athletes of all time >> and now it's like he's just a massive loser um doing anything for clicks, hanging out with Michael Rubin. That's just tough, man. And you know to tie it all back to what we're saying is is it it's not at a magnitude or it's not under a magnifying glass as that but you just learn a lot of [ __ ] as you go.
>> Yeah. It's like you got to keep your aura too. The Tom Brady aura fall off has been insane. The last thing you know this isn't really a gossiping podcast and [ __ ] but it's just like Tom Brady Tom Brady had that aura where like the guy won seven [ __ ] Super Bowls. Him and Bill Ferdich. They're just a dynamic duo that hate each other, but they're getting the job done on the field. And then like all of a sudden after their careers, you know, Bill, he's whacking 23-y olds, which is awesome. That's great. Good for him. But when he was on that ring camera without a shirt on doing the Walk of Shame, >> you kind of like, >> you lose Aura, but you kind of gain it cuz you're like, you know, he's 70, but he's whacking 23 year olds. Do I like that? Do I not? But anyway, I think it's Orura lost a couple points and then Tom Brady like getting into the whole like Logan Paul thing. It's like dude, nobody nobody wants that. Nobody wants Tom Brady in the WWE. WWE fans, first of all, they don't even know what they want. And I mean this with all due respect, >> they are [ __ ] but they don't want Tom Brady in their world. And I don't think that I don't think that Tom Brady fans want him to be in the WWE. Like, I just don't know what's going on with that guy. To me, look, I'm 38. I'm in my mom's basement doing a podcast. I mention it every episode, but to me, it screams like midlife crisis or like attention or whatever. I I saw your tweet the other day. You have everything. Get on a yacht. Get to Croatia.
>> Yeah.
>> Start doing dust off some fake sets.
Enjoy your life. Like, what's with slapping Logan Paul in the face? Like, dude, >> yeah. And you know, and you you start hanging around with uh Mike Jubin or Mike Rubin. Um and you just put yourself you just like you you're just hanging out with such a jock sniffer. Like you're getting in bed with a guy because he's probably paying you a ton of money for appearance fees, but it's like, you know, and you have these different side deals with him. And I'm I'm sure, you know, financially there is a little bit to gain from doing that. I'm not an idiot. I'm a [ __ ] but I'm not an idiot. But to swoop down to the level that he is, just attention maxing as the kids would say, is just pathetic to me.
Like the coolest thing about the biggest athletes in the world and the guys that have done it to a level of the Michael Jordans, >> um the Wayne Gretzkies, these guys, there's a little bit of mystery behind them. Like you don't see MJ just out there just doing all these different things because he doesn't need to. He doesn't need to go to the Lake Tahoe tournament and play, you know, in front of a bunch of fans. He doesn't need to go on TV and talk. Number one, he's too rich. Number two, he's doing cooler [ __ ] So Tom Brady, you're a minority owner of the Oakland Raiders. Not minority in the sense of you're a minority, you're white, but a minority stake in a NFL team. You also just signed a $245 million deal with CBS to go on there and talk [ __ ] once a week doing one NFL game. You've already made 500 million. You're on paper a billionaire. You had to give your skunk half, whatever. But the fact that you need to swoop down to this level just for clicks. I mean, that's where I'm like, if I was a Patriots fan and I was like grew up watching this guy, idolizing him, I'd be like, "This guy's this guy's a massive douchebag." Like, and we're not here to tell people how to live their life. We're really not. But I'm just saying what it looks like. It just looks like it's very it's very chintzy, man. It's lowhanging fruit.
You're going to swoop down to the Logan Paul's of the world and Logan Paul is way bigger than a show like Home by Three right now. But to swoop down that in your Tom Brady, come on fella. Like give your wrench a tug.
>> Yeah. Speaking about wrench, to me it's a classic case of Tiny Pee in this disease and it's like cuz there's so much compensation, right? Like that slap when he hit Logan Paul in the face.
Nobody wants to see that. Nobody.
>> It's so staged too and forced >> but but it's on our feed somehow. Like there because it's just they're a headline. Like if Logan Paul was walking down the street and we were walking down the street, I I honestly think more people would come up to us because anyone like a diehard fan of Logan Paul cuz to me >> they're just headline guys. That's all they are. Like listen, I I'll tell you this, the jig is up. When Logan Paul, when he was fighting Floyd Mayweather, he got most people's ass. He got our ass. People are like, "Oh [ __ ] what's gonna happen? He's 200 pounds heavier than Floyd." But Floyd is Floyd. See, Floyd's a guy that's doing cool [ __ ] Makes 300 million. Go broke.
>> Yes, >> that's cool. I respect that. Tiger Woods >> [ __ ] flipping over Range Rovers every other week. That's cool.
>> The fake stage slap [ __ ] at Michael Jubin's, you know, fanatics party. It's just no one wants to see that [ __ ] So, yeah, I don't know what's going on with him. This is not a gossiping show, but like it just kind of sucks to see because you're right, that mystery. We want that mystery out of our our, you know, childhood heroes. I never personally gave a [ __ ] about Tom Brady, but to a lot of people, he's a hero. And now he's just like this guy with a tiny wrench. And it's just it's unfortunate.
>> And the book is still out whether Tiger Woods can complete the 360 in a Range Rover. He's done to a couple 180s, which is pretty badass, man. But aside from that, >> it's like when you're Tom Brady, okay, and you should be a Coxman, but you're a s. You should be a Coxman.
>> You're a s. You're a Homer s. You're an OJ S. You should be a Coxman. Now, the the world's biggest cockman Coxman's out there right now, Leonardo Deferredio.
Like, get on that level, man. Where where nobody really knows what you're doing. And if they see you out in public with your brim pulled over your eyebrows because you don't want to be seen, but everybody sees you. That's what's cool.
When you pop out to a Laker game and you're sitting on the wood and you have a splinter, >> you pull out a tweezer and you grab it out of there. or you pop into maybe one French Open final in the next two years and you're just getting off your yacht off a San Trope and you pull right into the guts of Paris. That is cool, man.
That's really cool.
>> Why don't you do that?
>> I don't know. And if you're Leo and he's talking to a chick and she goes, "Oh, I'm 24 year old." And he goes, "Gh, too old."
>> That's the type of [ __ ] that >> you want to see. Maybe not maybe not go too young, but I'm just saying there's a there's a mystery behind the problem is like social media now some guys they kind of get exposed for being a massive tool and I got nothing against Tom Brady but when he opened up his uh playing cards company like he has a you know it's another form of gambling. You rip open a pack of cards. It's a hundred bucks. You see if you get a rare Pokemon >> um they kind of bait and switch you into spending all this money on cards that aren't worth [ __ ] Um, are there the one-off Persian guy that'll buy a Pokemon Charizard for $100 million?
Yeah. But does it happen occa uh a lot?
No. But anyway, he opened up his card store and it's called Card Vault. No free ads. Yeah. But then on the bottom it says buy Tom Brady in massive letters. Like if I open up a store, I'm not putting my [ __ ] name on it. First of all, cuz my name sucks. It's Robert.
Thanks for like imagine being named Robert. I already got the short end stick on that. But I'm not putting my name on the store. It's just like it's too much attention. Um, so I don't I don't know. I don't know. I kind of I know our jobs to talk, but I kind of run out of things to say about Tom Brady.
Like it just sucks to see him on the on the level of doing what he's doing now.
And um I just wish that I could watch that Atlanta Patriots game over and over again and watch him be a superhero. And now when I think about him, I just think about how, >> you know, >> Jazelle, >> he got his chick stolen by a guy that plays jiu-jitsu. But that that happens, too. I mean, chicks chicks cheat on you with way worse chicks all the time. Uh, dudes all the time.
>> Yeah. And it's like, you know, it it would be cool if he had a cool persona his entire career, right? Like if he was like a Rob Gronkowski where he's just like shotguning beers, spiking balls, hanging out with models, you know, going through tables, just this like heart and soul Buffalo guy. Like he's on brand to do something with the WWE, right? He's a he's a party animal. He's like this personality. But the last thing I will say on Tom Brady is is he didn't even he was like almost too locked in or he was his whole career to even hang out with his teammates. You know, he was a guy that if he looked at a piece of chicken and it wasn't freerange, cage-free, grass-fed, non-GMO, he wouldn't put it into his body. So, he was such a nerd biscuit his entire career. And I do think he is a nerd at heart who is trying to be cool. It just comes off as so forced. So, just be a nerd, man. be a nerd behind closed doors and limit your accessibility to what you show people like us. And that's how you still have aura and people don't really understand who you are. And that kind of creates a cool or a swagger to you versus what you're doing now because right now it's just so unnatural. And the way you're force-feeding people onto their timeline is flatout embarrassing. Look, we don't have to spend any time on it, but if I was this kid, if I was this kid, I'd be like, "Dad," >> and he'd be like, "What son?" I'm like, >> "You're an absolute pussy." And then I would just >> I would say that.
>> Yeah. I would tell him, "You're not allowed to kiss me anymore on the lips."
I would hold that back from him. But true.
>> Yeah. Especially with the WWE, it's like, "How do you how do you join the WWE when you have a fake chin?" Like, no one in the guys in the WWE, we want guys that have domestic violence on their record. We want guys. We want guys that have been >> Yeah. aggravated assault. Not just regular assault. We want guys with aggravated assault in that ring jumping off ladders, hitting people in the head with chairs. We want real criminals in there. Like Tom Brady being in a WWE ring. It just like dude your chin is fake. Like you got listen and he has veneers. I'm all for >> you know if you want to make your appearance better like by all means like you want to looks max do your thing. But it's just a bad fit. Um, speaking of speaking of bad fits, >> one thing, you know what he should do?
He should just get on CBS, that massive contract, and just be extremely racist.
I mean, Ryan Clark got away with it for years. He would go on ESPN if a white guy sacked a black quarterback.
>> Ryan Clark was like, "That's racist."
And that was >> it was good TV.
>> So maybe Tom can get some aura back this NFL season. I don't know if he goes on the air and says the n-word. I don't know if he goes on and starts talking about [ __ ] But I hope for Tom's sake he can make some sort of comeback with his aura because right now it's just not looking good.
>> Imagine how bad his wheels are like when he goes to one of those parties like oh my god I can't even >> Oh I he he's got to have I don't know dude. I I don't even I I just imagine that guy and envision him just being an absolute square is what I as I just you know kind of what he say you know like >> what would Tom Brady say to a if I was a girl right now and you're Tom Brady what would you say?
I don't think he has to say anything, which you know, he's earned that right.
But if he were to say something, I think that conversation is probably painful.
>> Yeah. But for women, they don't they don't really care, though.
>> No, they're looking at his watch.
They're looking at his veneers. They're looking at um the potential of what it could be, not what he's saying in the moment. You know what I mean? Cuz women are always looking at the future. That's the thing that people don't understand is when you go into a relationship with a woman, she is looking at the potential in the future of what she could get out of you.
You know, >> is that what you're looking at?
>> Of course. Yeah, man.
>> Yeah, it makes sense.
>> You know what I mean? Now that I'm thinking about my life, >> like think about like what women are always looking to put together the next move for you whether you know it or not. You know what I mean?
>> What do you mean by that?
>> Well, it's like, you know, >> financially.
>> Yeah, financially, but just personally, um you know, the next move, whether it's the dog into the car, into the kid, you know, it's moving in together, it's um you know, what are we doing next? Um, and and that's what and and you know, guys try to slowplay it where women have a plan, dude. That's like they have like a it's like almost like Alcoholic Anonymous, right? But it's just dating.
It's it's like a 12step plan of to to get you locked into that long-term ticket, right? If they do see something in you where you bring value. Now, if you don't bring value, they will cut you >> and they will cut you quick.
>> Yeah. Or >> just born, man.
>> Yeah. Especially with like direct messages now. You you're you could be cut real quick. like kind of a marriage is it's a what can you do? What have you done for me lately kind of thing like you know what I mean? But yeah, you're I'm surprised there's not more women CEOs and in business and obviously there's a bunch of old white Jewish guys like kind of gatekeeping businesses and stuff, right?
>> It's like women That's a great point you just made. They do always have a plan.
Like if a girl meets me, she pretty much knows like within 30 seconds that >> I'm not the guy for her, right?
>> Because I can't provide anything. I have nothing. like this guy might pop off in the next five or 10 years, but I can't wait that long. You know what I mean?
I'm 27 years old. I need it I need right now. I need the meal time.
>> A shot clock.
>> I need security. I need um I want to have a kid and a family in a few years and and Bob is out on a Tuesday respectfully getting shitfaced. You know what I mean? He's he's too tapped into the moment and uh living a good time in the current present day where I need some sort of plan and he has not provided me a plan because he has no idea what he's going to be doing, let alone in 45 seconds. let alone 45 days, you know? So, it's like they see something, they see, but the good women and the great women could see that and be like, "Maybe I can play the long game with this guy." But that takes a that takes a special chin, you know, like that's why that's why fat guys that are rich can always get a girl or an old guy that's rich can can always find something. They might not love that guy obviously, but they love what they he can do for them. And then especially when he dies too if they're old, you know, they they get a nice bag they slide into. So it's all about >> It's all about the future, man. It's >> Some chicks like fat guys, man.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, they do.
>> They just like when the guy his barrel is just like suffocating them like they like that. Women like a lot of different [ __ ] They're they're you know, I was talking to a girl the other day about how uh she said that her boyfriend would shave his chest and she would get pissed off cuz she's like, "I want like a hairy mountain man."
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> And he like kind of liked that sleek feel. And I didn't really think about that. Like I'm not I'm not thinking about like chest hair, you know what I mean? I'm thinking about like Tit's ass.
That's pretty much it.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, that's as far as I go depth wise.
>> They're thinking about all this other [ __ ] >> It's crazy that like chest hair can turn you on, you know? Or like a mustache. I always thought just a mustache creep.
Mustache is creepy. Or, you know, or chest hair is gross. It's like It's crazy like that. That's what turns chicks on, you know?
>> Like it's hair, bro. Like like >> it's gross.
>> Yeah. M mustache guys, it's like if you're not in the fire department, I always feel like they have something to hide. I don't know. Depending on the stash, >> depending on your skin color. Like if you're one of those white dudes that have like that thick like firefighter mustache, but you're not in the fire department or at least a paramedic or a first responder.
>> To me, you're a pedophile.
>> Yeah. Yeah, there's something respectable about like a thick duster like a just a beaver pallet of a tarmac where you could land like a 747 on that lip luggage. But I would agree the the mustache is a is like the long-term mustache is just a weird play to me.
I'll never understand it. What I do think is funny though is when the black guys uh go get lined up and then they line up their mustache and it's like a skinny mustache. You know what I mean?
>> Yeah, those look cool though.
>> Yeah, it's like a little shoestring mustache. Um, those are kind >> TI used to have one. Mr. Tip Harris, those are cool. I think what it also depends on your line of work too with the mustache guys, too. Like I always wonder like what what happened to where you decided you're going to do that, >> right? Like you can't be a camp counselor >> at a a summer camp, a religious summer camp with a mustache. Like, you're going to be getting some questions.
>> You shouldn't even be a camp counselor.
They should never let guys be camp counselors. I don't care. It's weird.
It's especially not >> things that go in the woods like the Boy Scouts.
>> Dude, I was driving through so on my bike route. I was doing a bike again yesterday on Lance Renstrong and I have to drive through like one of those religious camp uh like it's like a Catholic summer camp thing. And I was just looking around at the counselors and some of those people. I mean, I don't know. I don't know if I'd be dropping my kid off there. You know what I mean? respectfully, they could be good people, but just based off looks and feel, I had some questions as I was cruising through listening to uh I don't know, Heads with Roll, I think.
>> Uh the Patty Pimpble walk out.
>> Yes.
>> Was that your go-to exercise when Where are you at right now? Shytown?
>> No, I'm in uh Madison. But yeah, I just Yeah, I was just trying to mix it up.
So, I've been biking a lot. It's been a lot of fun.
>> Yeah, I've been doing a lot of beat [ __ ] which which is awesome, man. It's like it's uh it's good [ __ ] It depending on where you are like Arizona right now, you can't even work out outside which is brutal. You can't even move out there. So, >> dude, you you can't even What do you mean? You have to order Uber Eats. You can't even go outside to get something to eat there.
>> Yeah, it's too hot. But yeah, I mean, uh I just want to mention one thing getting back to what women prefer. How about that girl going out of her way to say that she does not like guys that listen to Home by Three on her Hinge profile?
Like it's like what the [ __ ] do we do >> that is all time man because so you know you posted I believe it was a screenshot of your DMs where it's just a bunch of horny AI chicks that are asking you to open up a link and then ultimately they'll hack your account. Like >> I was late night the other night scrolling through that after the AC/DC concert that I went to here in Madison and I was just happened to open one of the fellas that that hit me up and he's like switch you got to look at this and I go holy. you know, it says, you know, you have to like tap to like look at the picture. I'm just hoping I don't get hacked. And it ends up being that picture of >> Yeah. some woman, I think, you know, on the outskirts of Boston, somewhere in Massachusetts, not a big home by three fan. I would like to see a picture of her, to be honest. I would I would like to see I would like to see a uh I would like to see a profile bio and put together full circle a face to a name because that was uh like that's such a niche thing to hate, man. You know what I mean?
Yeah, >> that's like saying like you that's like saying like you hate like blazian people, you know?
>> No one hates Ablasian ever.
>> No, but I'm just saying that's a very niche thing to hate.
>> I wonder like what caused her to do that. Like I always want to besides the fact of what she looks like, which I could probably tell you what she looks like, which is fine. Like I'm a [ __ ] you know, I'm not the most attractive person. Um, I could tell you that she's probably not attractive, but because every girl that listens to Home by Three is a 10 out of 10, right, by default, but >> I want to know what pushed her over the edge to go out of her way to say that it's a red flag or what was the terminology? She said it's a red flag if you listen to Home by Three. Now, what sentence or what episode or what exboyfriend did she have? I want to know the moment. I would love to have her on the show. So, I don't know if she would oblige, but I would love to know. Was it us talking about Floyder getting shuttered? Was it us talking about Kirsy getting decapitated? Decapocated?
>> Decapitated? [ __ ] >> Was it um you know, acai bowlgate? Was it you getting kicked out of WNBA game for potentially having a dildo?
>> Is it what we said about Seattle pronoun town? Like what? But that's such a like, you know what I I mean, like that's like such a niche thing to hate that most people respectfully on Hinge. I I don't know a lot of people that would probably know about what even just HB3 means.
Maybe if you said Home by Three, but just like HB3 is very vague, you know, like >> is he that popular?
>> Well, it must be the biggest show in the world, man. Because if we're getting abbreviated on Hinge profiles, that means a lot of people are listening to it. I would say it was probably an ex-boyfriend that listened to it or an ex- fling and then she overheard something when she picked him up late night after he was out and he asked for a ride and said that Uber charge is surging right now and you have to pick me up. So, she's already pissed off to begin with and then he puts on Home by Three and then she hears something about Yeah, I would say maybe Erica Kirk or I don't know, you know, or like I said, a lot of things >> pronoun town. I I don't know. You know, >> I feel like for the most part like we're pretty levelheaded though because like in terms politically because she was like I don't like conservative conservative men and then 83 as if those go hand in hand which is >> not true. Like we don't I hate all politicians all scumbags. Like I don't >> we did we do [ __ ] on pronoun town a little bit more than we do to the black rifle coffee drinkers but that's just because it's easier.
>> Yeah. Yeah, I would say I I think we're pretty fair to be honest. We we [ __ ] on not only ourselves, we [ __ ] on all walks of life. And that's where the playing field is even. But if you were just to hear a little bit of maybe one of the bits, >> um it could push you to putting that in your bio. But but that's what the show is about, man. It's supposed to move you, you know? It's supposed to move you in one way or the other, whether you like it or not. It's it's for a reaction. So, I would say >> I would say I would like to get her on the show. I'd like to get her on the show at the same time as a guy like Mark Lazarus and we can all talk. That would be a great man. That'd be a great four mic session. We can get a lot done.
>> Yeah, we can make But that's the thing is we're always throwing curve balls, right? That's why during the live show, we have a live show in Boston. If she's in the area, we'll give her a free ticket. And am I going to go on stage and say the f word that rhymes with maggot for shock factor right away?
Yeah. But >> we're going to give you a free ticket if you want to come. Uh it's at the Schubert Theater on October 3rd. So if you're out there and you're listening to this and I'm assuming she's >> uh you know some sort of liberal arts major at a Boston University somewhere.
Yep.
>> Um we would love to have you and >> uh we'll give you the VIP. We'll give you a meet and greet too if you want.
>> Yeah. We give you whatever you want.
Happy ending, whatever. Like let's just talk about it, you know?
>> I don't know about that. That sucks that chicks just can't get happy endings at massage places. I mean obviously it's illegal to do that if you're a dude. Um, but there's nothing like that for chicks.
>> No, that'd be kind of crazy, too, because, you know, a lot would go into that. You can't just use your hands, you know. I mean, you could, but to get the full um flush would be Yeah, you'd almost have to like use a new uh new toy every time. That'd be That'd get expensive. Yeah, no doubt. Um, any thoughts on Ryan Clark getting the axe other than the fact that he was one of my favorite racist television hosts um on the planet. Just an ultimate race baiter. And that stuff used to make me mad and I just laugh. Like >> he would just be like, "Patton Manning sucks. Tom Brady sucks. Uh, Drew Brees not generational." And he'd be like, "Lamar generational." Uh, and just name all the black quarterbacks and say they were better.
>> Yeah.
>> Kind of funny. It was funny. I mean, we were talking about this the uh you know the Babe Bruce of the Transvestite era and shout out to Caitlyn Jenner for that. But when you think about Ryan Clark, no relation to Caitlyn, you think about probably the number one or if not the the at least a top three social justice warrior of the woke era.
Like when you think about when we went through the woke era, which was, you know, it lasted longer than we thought.
It was it was a good four to five year run. Thankfully, thankfully that wrapped up. It didn't make it a decade. I would say make it probably about a half a decade.
>> But when you think about social justice warriors, Rob of of all time in in that era, I mean, he's with his platform, I would say he's, you know, top at least top two, and it might not be two.
>> Yeah, Clark's up there. It's like him, Megan Rapino, uh, Mina Kimmes, you know, >> you know, you're off your rocker, sorry, too, when your ex- teammates that were black don't even [ __ ] with you. Like AB hated that guy, you know, and I feel like AB is a very uh sound individual that is a moral compass of who you'd hang out with and who you wouldn't. But like Ryan Clark, like it's always tough when when when you're when you're a brother and the black dudes don't even [ __ ] with you. That's how you know your your screws are a little loose.
>> That's got to be the worst feeling as a black guy. One of them at least. I mean, there's there's probably other things that can get you mad as a black guy, especially living in the south. But >> I was going to say like when you're walking in a nice neighborhood and you live there and all of a sudden the cops put on their lights. That would be tough. It's like, dude, that's my house, man.
>> I'm a black guy and you're walk you're walking down the street as a black guy and you hear someone click the lock on their car doors. You hear that?
>> Yeah. Um, I've done that before, but not because they're black, just because the way they looked. Like, >> yeah, >> sketchy. Like, hold on. Edit that out, Jamie. Just the way >> I've done it to white guys, too.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, but yeah, if you're a black guy and other black or no, >> what do you mean? Like, do I lock my car doors more around black people?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> But, um, but you're edit that out. If you're a black guy and other black guys don't like you.
Wow. I never What the [ __ ] Did you see that?
>> No. Look like a bald eagle.
>> Don't shoot it. Don't shoot it.
>> Massive mosquito or something.
>> Yeah. DON'T SHOOT IT.
>> SPRAY. MOM.
>> BUT IF YOU'RE A BLACK I never thought about that dynamic. If you're a black dude and other black guys don't like you.
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, now you end up Oh, man. It's not good. Now you end up like a massive K Cuddy fan or something. I don't even know what you do.
You gotta go get some more hood points or something.
>> 100%. It'd be so tough, too, if you were a black guy in hockey and a the other black guys didn't [ __ ] with you. That would be really tough. That would be like the ultimate [ __ ] you. You know what I mean? Like, dude, we don't like that guy.
>> That's tough cuz you get the initial just, you know, >> you know, we're in this together kind of thing and the next thing you know, man, [ __ ] dude. That's >> You have Yeah. I'm trying to think. I had um I'm trying to think if I had any black teammates.
>> Yeah, I had a couple. I liked them a lot actually. the ones I did have.
>> If you're a Kimaloo, >> that's tough though. I mean, he is the ultimate rage baiter. Uh, race baiter of the century. He's still going on about that [ __ ] >> Oh, I know.
>> You were minus 400. You had two goals and nine assists in 100 games. Like, maybe that's why you're not playing.
It's not because you're black.
>> No, fell. Maybe you just stink.
>> Yeah, maybe you suck. Like I didn't like I'm not Listen, if I was trying to play college football as a cornerback >> and I didn't make it. It's not Actually, no. I might be saying that, too. Maybe he has a point.
>> Yeah, it's cuz I'm white. But no, you're just not that good, dude. Like, I'm sorry. Yeah, you just you're not very good and you you can't stay out of trouble and you're an awful teammate.
>> Can I Can I say one more thing about uh Black Eyes?
>> Yeah, of course.
The one thing that sucks is like getting your blackness questioned. And Ryan Clark did that to RG3. Do you remember that?
>> Yeah.
>> Robert Griffin, >> I forget what they were arguing.
>> Griffin.
>> What were they arguing about? They were arguing over like it was a quarterback debate and then randomly Ryan Clark was like, "Yeah, dude. You don't know what it's like to be black. You married a white chick." And it was a white chick.
>> Yeah. First of all, if anything, that makes RG3 more inclusive for pursuing a snow bunny. And second of all, what does that have to do with football?
>> It has nothing to do with football. And the fact that Ryan Clark I I think that was probably one of the nine final straws for Ryan Clark is is when he called out another black guy for marrying a white chick. Like, what does that have to do with anything? You know what I mean?
>> I know. And like I Yeah, it doesn't have to anything to do with anything. My point is, I guess I feel like sometimes, and this is just from the outside looking, Mom, this is just from the outside looking in. I think it would suck to be a black dude and get questioned about your blackness. Like, how many times are people going to say Drake's a [ __ ] You know, he's a little bit light-skinned.
He has a couple R&B albums. It's like, dude, let's just We're all people here, right? Like, Jesus.
>> Yeah. I would just it would be so tough to have your just your your black card just even in question. You know what I mean? Like that I think that's like if I was black man like I would make sure like I would be overly black, you know?
>> Like how would you do that?
>> I would just do things that like the the the real OG black dudes do like a Lou Williams. I'd have I try to have two girlfriends at once and be, you know, they're cool with it. I would be married to a black chick, but I would have snow bunnies on the side, you know. I would have a couple baby mamas. I would I would just want to be like prototypical like hoodri black is what I'm saying because I would never want that to come in the question. When is there going to be a time where we get a black hockey player that's you know it's almost like the black hockey players are are they're not I wouldn't say every black hockey player I play with is is an unbelievable dude. When are we going to get some more like could rich black hockey players? What are we getting?
Like the Tyreek Hill of hockey where you have nine baby mamas, you get your chin stapled to the curb going into an NFL football game because you get pulled over and you're mouththing off to the cops. Like when are we going to get or would they just not allow a player like that into the NHL because it's such a white collar sport?
>> No, I don't think it's it's that. I think it's just you're a product of your environment to be honest. Like I mean look at Max Crosby in the NFL. Like he has Martin Luther King tattooed on him because he's in the NFL. He's a dog.
He's a savage and he grew up around, you know, that kind of locker room culture and look at him. So I to answer your question, I don't really >> Eastern Michigan.
>> Yeah. If you go to Eastern Michigan, holy [ __ ] Um, tuck your chin over there. Yeah. I I don't know. I I I think as the game grows, you know, now that we're going to have 98 games a year because Gary's making the guys play more games, I think we're going to see it eventually. I just think it's going to take some time, right?
>> Yeah. Yeah. I wish like I wish like back in the day like Josh Ho Sang would have made the league, you know what I mean?
Before Lou Lamarillo told him to go home because he showed up to day one of training camp high and drunk. Um I wish it would have been just like a point where, you know, cuz I want to see a black hockey player in the league and then the next day have two and one and then the following day is in the studio cooking up a mixtape, you know?
>> Yeah.
>> Like I want someone to drop that heat.
I just think it's hard to be hood in hockey, which is ironic because this is not going to sound good, but you can fight people. You can hit people directly in the head with your stick.
Like there is I I feel like >> it's just too expensive for them.
>> That's not going to sound good the way I'm saying it.
>> Yeah. It's just too expensive.
>> It is expensive.
>> Yeah. I don't know, man.
>> I'm not saying black dudes are more prone to violence. I'm just saying like it's a sport to where like I don't know. I don't really want to talk about this because I'm saying something that I don't mean and >> I'm just trying to work it out in my head. Yeah, it's just too expensive, man. But then also that sounds bad, too, cuz what are you like saying minorities can't afford hockey, which is >> I mean day.
>> Well, yes and no.
>> I mean, [ __ ] it's expensive for white people. A lot of white people can't play the game. And also, we're talking about trouble. We're talking about hood rich black guys playing hockey. So, hood, >> it's hard to afford. You know, it's not like we're saying anything out of the ordinary here, right? But >> no, no. I mean, I I think this is sta standard typical protocol. Um, so I want to Sorry, I'm trying to Someone just came home and I'm downstairs talking about >> Yeah.
>> black guys on speaker phone. I don't know who's up there.
>> Um, uh, I kind of want to ask you about, uh, these kids, like mentoring these kids.
Did you did you notice like a difference about the kids these days? Like were they paying attention? Were they on TikTok? Did they all have that same haircut? Like what were they a different cut of cloth or was there any like nail guns where like yo I I like these kids or were they all just weirdos that just hammer porn all day?
>> Yeah, I couldn't really tell because it was like a a low lit setting of like you're probably like in the mezzanine area of some shitty rink and the lighting's not great. I'm also calling in from a 2012 MacBook and my camera's not great as is. So, I couldn't really tell. There was some Tik Tok haircuts.
Uh, but nobody had a chewing. I also asked that question. Has anyone anyone got a chew? And I just pulled out a can of mine that I just carry around because I always wish I still could chew. So, I pulled out a can of Copenhagen and nobody had a lip in either. So, I don't know. I >> That's disappointing.
>> You know what I mean? Like at 13, man, you should you should at least be chewing in between skates. That's >> Wait, you bare minimum?
>> Zoom.
>> Yeah, it was Zoom.
>> Oh, I thought you were in person talking to these guys.
>> No, no, I was straight up Zoom and I called in cuz they were in obviously New York or New Jersey and I'm just calling in right from the guts of Madison here via Zoom. So, yeah, I couldn't see I Nobody had a spitter though. I was kind of disappointed. I actually had thrown in a fake shoe just going into it just so I had one showing front bunk which it was just a bunch of double bubble bubble gum. Yeah. No one was No one had darts.
No one was even had pouches. It was kind of was kind of a little bit uh kind of soft.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. The game's changing, man. It's like once the the word got out that nicotine's addictive, everyone kind of backed off that [ __ ] Like the parents started getting scared and all that stuff, but everything's bad for you, man. I mean, I I had my mom I had a joint in the car the other day.
>> Yeah.
>> It smells like weed in here. And I was like, "Yeah, because there is weed in here." And then >> I hot boxed your whole place.
>> Yeah. She was like, "How much are you smoking?" I'm like, "I don't know. Oh, I bought five joints two week ago. Two weeks ago, and there's four left. Like, you know, so not all the time, but sometimes I walk on the beach, I smoke a jet, whatever. And she looks at that and she's like, that is like she's disgusted. Like just disgusted by it.
>> Meanwhile, >> the procco's flowing five nights a week, respectfully, >> which is even a worse poison arguably.
>> So, it is funny like the generations of what gets targeted for being terrible for you and what doesn't. I do I find that very interesting.
>> I know. Like I posted a video last night of over the weekend when I was in Shai and there's this bar actually actually by that place we went to when we were in Shai Las Corola. It's Richards. It's an old mob establishment. They don't allow cameras or phones in there technically, but I had my sister film a video of me smoking darts in this bar because it's the last bar in the city where you can smoke darts in. And I posted that and then my mom didn't text me, but she hit me up in my DM and said, "Don't smoke."
Exclamation point. I go, "Fella, come on. Come on." Like, it's just one dart, you know? I mean, I have a like I always say like I have like a quarterly dart, you know, like once every quarter.
You got Especially in a place like that where you can still smoke them and grab a pack and it's mob affiliated. Of course, I'm going to smoke a dart in here. What do you mean? It's great. It's great for the lungs.
>> Yeah. I was uh I smoked a dart on a fishing boat that was docked. Um my uncle I don't know if he's still my uncle. So what happens when your parents get or your aunt gets divorced and your uncle >> is that just a random guy or is that still my uncle?
>> This is your great uncle.
>> My Yeah, it's your great It becomes your great uncle cuz he's a great dude >> and then it's like it's like great and then comma uncle. It's not great uncle like it's your great uncle, but it's great uncle.
>> Like a great dude. Like he's but he's a fisherman. And then they they came in from their fishing trip and I was at a bar near the boat and I walked on the boat and this guy had um cigarettes with no filter in it. They were just like they were like rolled up.
>> Those are nice.
>> And yeah, I said yeah. I said, "Can I have one of those?" And I smoked it.
>> I think I was probably like two or three puffs in and I couldn't feel my legs.
Like all of a sudden like I was just yucking it up with those guys and like obviously I put on a little front because I'm like a massive [ __ ] but I started talking about you know how we got to clean up Wall Street, clean up Congress and [ __ ] and just all the stuff. I just started relating to them more cuz I was buzzing so hard off the cigarette. But it felt good. It felt nice. It wasn't, >> you know, a typical uh cigarette you'd find in a gas station or distributed by big tobacco. It's just a classic hand rolled sig.
>> Did he tell you that it was percoet? you kind of sprinkle a little bit in there or because a lot of guys will will put a little bit of a little dust in there in their cigarettes if they're unfiltered and they roll them themselves and that what people don't understand is is cocaine becomes crack >> and once cocaine is smoked it's it's crack cocaine and that maybe is why you couldn't feel your kneecaps.
>> Yeah, I was definitely like trying to hold it together. I was actually a little bit nervous too. I started buzzing like really hard but I didn't want to seem like a [ __ ] around these guys. So, >> isn't it >> isn't it always funny too when you you're um around a group of individuals and you're the the minority or the outsider per se of five to 10 people that you just become a chameleon. Like you just start talking like how you would want them. Like you, if you're decently smart or you can figure it out, you just start talking how they would want you to talk and you start saying things that are extremely maybe racist or maybe it's the the opposite of, you know, you just lean into the chameleon aspect of it and just try to become who they'd want you to be.
>> Yeah. Like we were talking about cash tips and like reporting stuff to IRS. I was like, "Yeah, [ __ ] them." You know, [ __ ] And like meanwhile, I'm on a payment plan for my taxes. like I'm cooperating, but I was acting like it wasn't. But like you said, you want to see something? I have the shirt that I was wearing. Hold on, I'll show it to you. And it's like the most [ __ ] shirt of all time. This is what I was wearing around those guys.
>> Yeah, that's tough.
>> And those guys are >> You almost just got to like You almost just got to like take that off and just like start burning it with your cigarette and then just throw it in the bay because then they'll like respect you even more. It's like, dude, you're wearing Zara around these guys. Like, come on.
>> Yeah, dude. Dude, I was like, >> like these guys are all wearing just like shirts of their favorite bar with like mustard stains and, you know, >> cigarette cigar cigarette ash and probably a little bit >> Well, they smell they smell like [ __ ] >> Yeah, >> they smell so bad. There's like fish scales all over them. They're making offcolor remarks about um Asian guys cuz they do porgi fishing. You know what that is?
>> No. like all the Asians and the low income a lot of not all Asians but it's more of a lowinccome demographic of fishing and they went out on a porgi trip.
>> What does that mean? They just like they fish in like a like a blowup pool or something.
>> No, it's still in the ocean.
>> They go into they go into like a pet store and they fish for the minnows.
>> Yeah, they fish with gold.
They go into PetSmart and they just Yeah. They're just like, you know, they grab like a little bit they bring their tennis racket in there and they fish out a, you know, some little uh minnow or carp.
>> When's the last time you were in a PetSmart? Those stores stink, dude.
>> I mean, talk about worst. That is the definition of a petting zoo is a pet store. Those are disgusting. If you buy a If you buy an animal with four limbs from a pet store, >> I question everything you're about. What do you mean?
>> Like you can't go into a PetSmart and buy a [ __ ] dog. Do not, dude. They That dog was conformed that that thing probably has an onoff switch on it. You just don't know about it. It's a mechanical pet that they're selling to you that has a chip in it that they made in the back in a petri dish and developed over time. Like that that thing is genetic genetically modified to it to a tea.
>> Yeah. When I think Pet Smart, I think like fish, reptiles.
It's like a weird place. is some like obscure bird that they shouldn't be selling. You know what I mean? Like why are you selling a crow?
>> Can you order Pets Smart on Door Dash? I kind of want to try that.
>> Yeah, you can.
>> You ever go to a carnival? You can >> You can order a cat. You can order a cat >> on PetSmart.
>> Yeah.
>> Do you ever go to a carnival and they give you the bag with a fish in it, like the goldfish, and it's just dead?
>> Yeah, man. You You go back home and you're and you're like, "Oh, mom, dad, I got to get a fish tank." They're like, "Dude, flush that thing down the toilet now." You're like, "Really?" I'm like, they're like, "Yeah." They're like, "Damn, like that?" Then you like put it I always used to like put it just like in a in like a coffee cup for a day and just put it in the refrigerator, you know, just to let them swim around at a cool temperature he's used to.
>> Those fish had it so bad, dude.
>> Being a goldfish, >> I would be so mad if I was a goldfish, dude. Like I bet I'd I'd rather be born in like the middle of the Congo like wearing like a leaf around my wrench, no pants, no shoes, and just trying to battle it out against the lions or do whatever tribal people do than being a goldfish. I mean, that is just the worst hand you can get dealt as an animal. I feel like >> Oh yeah. I'd rather be I'd rather be a goddamn fly in North Korea than a [ __ ] goldfish in the US, man. Dude, >> fly is tough, too, man. You get swatted with a fly swatter like >> Oh yeah. I mean, especially in North Korea, they'll just [ __ ] nuke you.
It's like, why are you why are you using nuclear weapons to kill bugs? It's like, well, because we can and we need the radiation to kill off these people and make them even stupider so they have no idea what the outside world is. But that's a story for another chin. But yeah, dude, like imagine just being like where like where do goldfish like are is there even such thing as a wild caught goldfish these days? There's no chance.
Like they're all just they're all just whacking in some sort of like little >> fish tank and fish stores. Like they've they've really commercialized the [ __ ] out of a goldfish, man. And they and the crazy thing is is they took them, you know, like we we were talking about evolution, you know, probably about a month ago and we we couldn't think of the word for about 42 minutes and we finally got to it is is goldfish. The crazy thing about them is is they went from the bag to the water. You know what I mean? They they beca they were a snack and they became a pet. Think about that, man.
>> You had all the different farm like the actual cracker.
>> Yeah, they had all the different flavors of goldfish and they finally brought them >> to a ziplockc bag. That's pretty crazy that they actually, you know, were able to make those things swim a little bit.
>> Yeah, those things are like genetically modified, too. I don't think there are natural goldfish out there. I really don't. I don't think they're just like >> No. And then like the carnival just has like hundreds of dead goldfish and they just sell them to a Chinese food place and they put them in their stew. But >> Chinese food places, man. Oh my god. I had general child chicken last week and that was not chicken.
>> Oh no, that was cat.
>> That was not good. I was eating it and I go, "Uhoh." I tried to like make myself puke after, too. It was a nightmare.
>> Yeah. You bite it. It's like >> It's not even dark meat chicken, man. It looks like raccoon fried up and then cut it.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah, man. I That's the thing is is with the goldfish. I I don't know. I I had something I thought was going to be funny. And I lost my train of thought.
>> Yeah, that happens. I mean, goldfish are by far I'm trying to think of something that would be worse than a goldfish.
Spiders don't have it easy cuz people just see them and want to kill them.
>> Yeah, >> their first first thought is just kill them. It's like >> see a spider kill them. It's like when Asian people have daughters, they just throw them out.
>> I was going to say it's like Middle Eastern people in 2002 walking through an airport.
>> Yeah. You just want to kill them. You just want to kill [ __ ] this guy, dude. I'm Dr. You know what, dude? The amount of people that joined 911 was actually massive for the army. Like the amount of people because usually the army was just like Hispanic kids that couldn't afford college and then 911 happened and then you get like a whole wave of high school tight ends that were like, "Dude, [ __ ] these bad guys. We're going in." So the Army didn't even have to spend money on marketing or recruiting or any of that [ __ ] Like I don't even think they had to do the anthem at NFL games because not a lot of people know this. The anthem at an NFL game is just an advertisement. That's what makes me so mad, dude. When they honor a TR Listen, dude, I'm a [ __ ] big advocate for the troops. Everybody knows that. Everybody talks about that.
>> However, when they honor the troops at a sports game, it's an advertisement for the army. That's it.
>> Yeah.
>> That's all it is.
>> No, it is.
>> Like I don't even think they mean it.
>> No, it is. And also too, another advertisement from the the day you step into kindergarten when you do not only the Star Spangle Banner at every event, but you do the pledge of allegiance. The pledge of allegiance that >> the United States of America is one nation, one God under the chin is that's just trying to get a kid and then you you know the National Guard, why did the National Guard show up to my second grade class? You know what I mean? It's like, dude, I I'm not eligible to tilt until like at least 15 years here.
>> Tilt, you know what I mean?
WHY AM I >> I can't tilt yet, >> fella. Why did you give me a, you know, a kid-sized camouflage uniform? Like, fella, I I can't even tilt yet. I can't chalk for this country. You're like, "Well, just in case there's a draft."
I'm like, "A draft? We're talking about a draft, dude? I don't even know what what do you mean, man? I'm just learning the alphabet."
>> Yeah, I would go undrafted for sure. It also makes you think about all the proper like think about Toy Soldiers.
Not the song by Eminem, but think about like the little toy soldiers that you would have. You go to the um grocery store and you put in a quarter and you turn it, you get a little army guy. Like that was making me want to join the army for a little bit. Airsoft guns. That was cool. You spray paint the tip. Dude, one of my favorite memories as a child was buying airsoft guns >> and spray painting the tip of it, which was orange, black, so it looked like a real gun, and just shooting people in public. Like that was one of the funnest things, like most fun you can have. And it kind of I would say there was a small window in my childhood where I was down to join the army and then you get older and you realize that you're not that gay because the a lot of gay guys are in the army too. And that's I know we're kind of jumping around here but it always used to boggle my mind when people were like, "Hey, no trans guys in the army.
No gay guys allowed in the army." It's like, dude, those are the best guys they have in the army.
>> Yeah, >> those are the best.
>> They are organized. They know how to make their bed. They're very on point.
They are >> the cohesive unit in the barracks, too.
Is is everyone's getting along.
Everyone's banging. Like they're sleeping together.
>> Yeah. There's flying everywhere. There's >> there's robes getting shot everywhere.
>> Yeah. Everywhere, dude. They take cover really well because they just get on top of each other and they butt talk. Like something to be said about the everyone being gay in the army.
>> But think about it. If you were in a tactical group that had to invade, for example, like when Saddam Ferdisain was hiding out in his barracks or whatever, he was in like a basement, right? or a manhole.
>> Yeah, he was at a Holiday in Express.
>> Who Who else would you want to go into a manhole than a gay guy?
>> And they're all like very tedious and they're, you know what I mean? I think if you had a in the army, if you had a clan of straight dudes versus >> a clan of gay dudes, one-on-one battle, you can make it like a paintball match so no one dies. I'm I I think the gay guys win every time.
>> Yeah. And to go back to what you were saying about the >> Is that Jake? No, that's my dad.
>> Oh, I couldn't can't see that far. Yeah, but I was uh you know the most crazy thing is when you used to go to those you had like you know you're back in the day it's like probably sixth to seventh grade and everyone's like all right we're going to have an airsoft you know war or whatever you show up to some guy's backyard you know you put on maybe some hockey elbow pads and like some uh you know Oakley fast shades knockoff gas station sunglasses but I was always a guy that was like okay well how can I you know really get the edge on these guys these guys would show up with like you said the sharpied little tip of turn it from red to black.
But I was like, "All right, I'm going to take this to another level." Then that's when you go and get a BB gun >> and you really do damage.
>> That could really hurt someone. That could kill someone.
>> Yep. Yep. But you you stay away from the chin and you shoot from the neck down and those things actually would stick in you and >> Yes.
>> That's how you get everyone to run back to their culde-sac crying to their moms and icing their arms for the rest of the day. So that was always a good play, too.
>> I played a kid that would freeze his paintballs, too. Yeah, >> that that's just not fun. I got hit by one of those one time. And also, someone in the chat just said the army has a don't ask don't tell. Dude, everyone knows like you have lipstick on your nightstand in the barracks. Like, everyone knows you're gay. No one has to ask. But anyway, uh I got hit by one of those. I think I've said this before on the show in the shoulder and I actually lost wind somehow. Like I was like sucking for wind. I was like and I was like that's just not fun. Like that's diabolical behavior too. And um my racist grandpa built me a skateboard ramp like out of plywood. Ended up like rotting in the woods within like two weeks, but we would use that as uh as cover. And I stepped out and this kid just hit me with this paintball that was frozen. And I don't think I ever talked to that kid again, actually. Um after you >> Yeah, he was Cuz it's hard to find kids to play paintball with in the neighborhood too.
>> Oh yeah, especially when they're freezing them too, man. That's always tough. Like, yeah, I don't know. I The one thing I wanted to go back to just cuz I remembered it and it was bothering me was when I was talking about Goldfish.
Um, you know, when you go to a sushi restaurant and it's a shitty sushi restaurant and they say like you look in the fine print and in the roll you're going to get like the Philadelphia roll or it's a disgusting amount of cream cheese, salmon, and they're going to have crab in it, but underneath it in really fine print is it says imitation crab. Imitation crab just happens to be goldfish. I think they just, you know, act like that is is crab, but it's really just >> goldfish. So, that's what I was going to say. It's not that good of a point, but it was just bothering me while I was sitting here um >> in front of a 2012 Macintosh laptop.
Yeah, it's crazy that Chinese food places get away with the health like the health inspector's not going in there or they're paying them off or maybe the female employees are kind of giving them a little something something just to pass food inspection cuz they're not like if you go back there it's just everyone's wearing a Hannes white tea and they're no one's using gloves.
>> Everyone has blood on their hands >> literally.
>> Why do you have blood on your hands and why is it yours? Where's why are you bleeding?
>> Yeah. You go to a Chinese You go to a Chinese food restaurant, man, they you know how a lot of times if you know your server at a nice restaurant, you know, they'll have like those finger condoms if they have a little bit of a cut or an open wound. Chinese food restaurant, man, they're just they just suck their blood and they go back to making your chicken lain. They don't care. Yeah.
They don't care at all. They have like a disdain towards Americans, too. Like there's no way. I'm sure that if I was Chinese, which I am, but hypothetically if I look Chinese and I walk into a Chinese for food place, I think they take care of their own. That's like a big thing, that's like what Jewish people are really good at. Like Chinese guys aren't going to put a band-aid in another Chinese man's chicken lain. But for me, they'll give me the the snickle fritz.
>> Oh yeah, man. Yeah. They'll they'll have eyebrow hairs and whatever in there, man. They don't give a [ __ ] I mean, the fact that they made it over the Great Wall, dude, to get on the other side of Mount Ferda and just make it over here is that's a feat in itself. Now, everything's game on.
>> Wait, wait. They made it from Mongolia to China and China to here.
>> No, they made it from China to Manfura because they had to get out of the communist country, right? So, they climbed over their own wall, >> got to Mongolia from Manfura, figured out how to make that really good beef with the broccoli, the Mongolian beef that they sell at PF Chens, and then just started just, you know, started a monopoly over here, man. It's crazy.
Yeah, PF Stinkies is kind of a great establishment though. Like depending on what phase of life you're in. Like at one point me and my friends who are we're all dumb as hell, but we were in a huge My Thai phase at PF Changs. We go to PF Chens and get my ties at happy hour and they were like six bucks and you just get so twisted and it was just it was the best. But then you get a little bit older and you realize like you know maybe maybe this isn't the best for my health. PF Chains. I always say, man, it's a sneaky sneaky spot to meet your future ex-wife.
>> What?
>> Yeah. At the bar, dude. Oh, yeah, man.
Yeah. You You'll be sitting there and see this, you know, >> chick pull up with a Puma jumpsuit on.
Yeah, man. She's She's looking for something. Not only appetizers, but >> maybe a little dessert.
>> I don't know if I've ever seen a female in PS. Maybe I'm Yeah. No, I don't think so. I mean, my friends and I like wouldn't talk to women at all. we just get drunk and then go home and play Rock Band. But >> they always have like they always have like that 4-in TV kind of like tucked away in the corner of the bar.
>> They got some, you know, replay of a baseball game that happened six years ago because they don't have cable television. PF Chain is a good spot, man.
>> Yeah. I wish they just had a Chinese food place that wasn't that didn't make you feel like you had liver cancer. You know what I mean? Like >> isn't there a Isn't there a way to clean it up a little bit? You know, I can't you can't.
>> Everything's fried, man. Everything's fried in soy sauce with a ton of sodium and corn syrup. No, it's impossible.
Chinese food is some of the worst food for you. The the American Chinese food, too, is is not even close to what they eat, you know, overseas. I mean, they'll they'll eat like a live fish over there.
Those people are savages. So the American Chinese food isn't even close to I think it's the biggest separation between what you would actually get in China versus you know how it's been commercialized um on this side of the western hemisphere.
>> What does the PF and PF Chens even stand for?
>> Uh I think it's Patty Ferta.
>> Patty Ferta. Can we look that up?
>> Pi like how they say it like pad.
>> Let me pull that up. Oh pad thai. Yeah.
>> Wait, hold on. Put my mic down for a second.
>> So, it's pad >> I don't think it's I don't think it's pad tie. Is it >> PF? Oh my god. Stands for Paul Fleming.
>> Paul Fleming. Paul Fleming Chang.
>> His last name was adopted adapted to Chang for the brand. That's pretty racist. You're a white guy and you're >> His name is Paul Fleming.
>> Paul Fleming. But so he just added So Paul Fleming added a hyphenated name. So it's Paul Fleming Chang.
>> Fleming chain. Does Does Fleming own Wait, does Paul Fleming own Flemings? He has to.
>> Yeah, he does. Yeah, >> that's [ __ ] dude. I'm never going there again. I'm going to >> [ __ ] >> Panda Express. I'm team Panda.
>> So he's just a white guy and he's like, "How are we going to make this Asian?
Let's just call it Chang." That's like that that's like me opening up a soul food restaurant and naming it like >> Yeah. Rob Jackson's.
>> Yeah.
>> That's actually not a bad That's not a bad name.
>> Bob Jack Bob Jackson's Chicken Shack.
>> Can we make that merch? Bob Jackson's Chicken and Perks.
>> Bob Jkins Chicken and Soul. Yeah, that's what it be.
>> Speaker phone only policy in the restaurant, too.
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah. You can't if you're ordering in, it's got to be on speaker.
>> Bob Jackson's chicken.
>> Bob Jackson's chicken shack.
>> Like not even like a home, like a shack >> shack.
>> Bob Jackson's chicken shack.
>> Dude, I can't believe this guy did that.
We kind of I wonder what else we can uncover when it comes to that. Like I'm trying to think of any other like McDonald. That's pretty American name too for McDonald's. Like >> Yeah. Burgers, fries, and cancer on the side.
>> Yeah, I feel like that one is probably legit. You know, I should waffles.
>> Uh, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Chicken and Perks, Popeye's.
>> Popeye's. That's kind of a >> generic Popeye.
>> Scrubway. Um, >> Culver Jack.
>> Yeah. I don't know, man. I I think all the other ones are pretty pretty stock and generic, but I don't know if there's any like real like like to be Paul Fleming and be and then just I mean, first of all, I've never heard of a a Chinese guy going by like two letters, you know what I mean? Like a lot of times PF, you know, there's the the the JJs of the world. There's >> JT >> JT PJ >> JT is always a closeted guy, bro. Every time.
>> Yeah. Miller.
>> I'm not.
>> He's a good dude though.
>> Maybe I wasn't talking about him. Uh >> JT. Oh yeah, I know.
>> RJ, >> I know the JT you're talking about.
>> Um >> JT. Uh what's >> RNR?
>> Uh BJ. BJ's a dude that >> BJ's tough.
>> Just suck the chrome right off a trailer hitch.
>> BJ's How about that? That's >> BJ BJ up. TJ.
>> Yeah. A hushmanada.
>> I've never met a BJ.
>> Really? BJ Upton?
>> I've never met He was a baseball player, right?
>> Yeah.
>> Um, what's some other abbreviated names?
>> Um, KT.
>> KT.
>> KT.
>> Yeah, >> people are named KT.
>> Like chicks. Yeah. KT.
>> Oh, Katie.
>> Um, >> uh, MJ.
>> R.J. Stungber.
Man, I saw that in the chat. RJ Umbberger, >> Justin Thomas, JT, >> um, >> uh, >> JK >> JK Rowling. Yep. The libs hate her, man.
They turned on her ass quick. She didn't even say anything that bad either. She was like, I think that if you have a penis, you shouldn't play women's sports. And those were like, >> who's that little who's that little [ __ ] in the movie uh, The Blind Side?
SJ.
>> SJ. Yeah, the kid. The white kid that was uh >> SJ.
>> Yeah, man. It was >> PK Wrench Band.
>> PK Chin Ban. Yep.
>> Shout out PK.
>> PK Wrench Ban.
>> The blind side. You want to talk about exploiting black people? Holy [ __ ] >> Oh yeah. They should have named it the stung side.
>> Sandra Bulock was like, "Let's make this kid a defensive end and take all of his money." What happened with that guy? But didn't he didn't he like come out with a lawsuit or something? I don't remember if it was real life or against movie people.
>> Well, he came out he came out of the closet, went back in, came back out again with a lawsuit. There was a whole deal there. I don't know.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Uh, yeah. I don't know what happened to him. Michael Scott, right, was his name?
>> No, his name was Michael Ore.
>> Michael Scott or >> is he good?
>> Michael Scott. Bobby or? Um, no. He wasn't any good. No.
>> And then Disney just made a movie out of it. Remember Michael Sam? That was the peak of when Wol started was when uh like was it the Dallas Cowboys drafted him as like the first openly gay football player?
>> Yeah.
Yeah. Dak Prescott.
>> What about him?
>> That Well, he was the second. Um speaking of people making movies, >> Prescott's gay.
>> Yeah. He got uh called off an engagement and he's dating a dude. Um >> Oh, I didn't know that.
>> On his offensive line, so it was cool.
But uh the the funniest movie thing making a movie about him was that David Ayes who was actually a good dude, but he was literally the Zamboni driver.
I've said this before for the Toronto Marley's my year I was there. Emergency backup. Ends up going in the game. All the hockey fans know this is a hockey show. Goes in, gets technically a win on paper against his own team because he was playing for the Leafs as an emergency backup. Plays for the Carolina Hurricanes. Wins the game. comes in like a third period, whatever. Makes a three or four saves. He comes back to the rink the next day, the AHL rink and he's like on his high horse, you know, he was a guy that we would use a little bit if one of the goalies was hurt.
>> Mhm.
>> So, he was a Zamboni guy. He was driving the Zamboni. Comes in our locker room, everyone's, you know, giving him knuckles like, "Fuck, you were kicking last night. It hadn't even been 24 hours." He goes, "Yeah, I guess they're making a movie about me." I go, "Who? Who's making a movie about you?
>> I was like, "Oh my god, that's where we're at." Needless to say, that movie never got made, but I just thought that was funny. So, I think they're making a movie about me. I go, fella, I think this is probably just going to be a couple day thing and it'll blow over.
>> Congrats on the win, though. That is >> huge. Does he have a hockey DB because of that? Like, that >> I think so. Yeah, I think so.
Yeah, that would be uh >> you should have told the kids today like all you got to do is just make sure that you have a nice hockey DB page. That's all that matters at the >> end of the day.
>> Yes. Don't if your hockey DB is ever in jeopardy of having the East Coast Hockey League on there, just retire.
>> Yeah.
>> Don't have that on there.
>> SP or the Federal.
>> Yeah, the Federal. I don't even know if the Federal I think you have to go on elite prospects to see if you played the Federal. Elite Fert uh specs.
>> Yes, Elite Rex Rex specs.
>> Um we got our word show coming out folks in the next couple weeks. We're just piecing that together.
>> Uh it should be pretty funny. We're trying to hype that up. The Chinnies. Um we've put a little bit of game film out there, but we're just uh getting everyone to call in and accept their award. That'll be funny. Like we said, we got Boston show tickets on sale. Uh working on another city right now. Uh Chicago. Working on Chicago.
>> Uh dates, time, and location for that will be released once we are agreed upon. But got some real steam with coming back to the guts of Chicago and that'll be a theater show as well. Um so be on the lookout for everyone in Chicago. Uh the biggest show in the world is is coming back and yeah, it should be pretty cool.
>> Yeah. And I will say this about the Chicago show, that theater is going to be a little bit smaller than Boston. So those tickets are going to actually they're going to go way faster than Boston. So when that Chicago show drops, make sure you get your tickets. Um yeah, we're going to be doing some other cities, too. I love when people ask when we're doing shows because I feel like the live show experience, it's just so much better, especially this this day and age. Like you and I were talking about it. Everyone's got a podcast.
Everybody's streaming. You know, Amazon delivery drivers have live streams now.
You know, I I've seen live streams of cooks in the kitchen and they're intentionally being disgusting. So, people comment on the video and they get engagement. So, what my point is is the internet shit's way different and in person I think you guys are going to like it. Even though that one kid in Ottawa um tripped the [ __ ] out of us after the show.
>> Yeah.
>> But I was going to say something. I've lost my train of thought, too. merch is on the website. There's hats on the website. Um, those will arrive before Christmas. And then what is the other thing I was going to say? God damn it, man. Oh, shout out to the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League. It's the Junior B League I was playing in when I was 24.
Someone in the comments mentioned it.
>> Love it.
>> Did I ever tell you that story about how I hit a kid directly in the head on the Laconia Leafs?
>> Um, I don't know. Maybe >> I was uh supposed to be on the A team for the Washington Junior Nationals and it was a combination of me not being good and our coach being a [ __ ] [ __ ] And I played three games at a goal with like no ice time and then the weekend after that they said you're going to play junior B this weekend in New Hampshire. And I was so mad that it was like one of my first shifts and this kid didn't even have the puck. I don't think it might have been like seven Mississippi after he passed it. And I just skated full-blown strides right into him. It was charging, head shot, all the above.
>> And I found out that the kid was like a 98. He was like a 97 or something. And I was like, "Ah." Like, "My bad, dude. I was just mad." Um >> Yeah. I'm 29.
>> Yeah. I was so old. I might have been the oldest kid on the ice like by like five years.
>> That's hilarious. Yeah. You got the you got the uh reverse exemption status to play when you were too old versus the Conor McDavid when you get got it when you get to play in the OL like 14. You were 26 playing.
>> It's funny. I had such a good game too.
But then I re realized like I'm like six years older than everyone in this game.
But also in my defense, I didn't really hit puberty till like my senior year of college. So physically I think >> we were made sense.
>> Yeah, it did make sense. They should They should have let me play down my whole my whole career.
>> Yeah. Just playing with like 98s the entire time.
>> I'm like a [ __ ] and I'm playing squirts just running [ __ ] >> Yeah.
>> Um >> All right.
>> Yeah. I will say uh lastly on my front um we both I think sent out our condolences yesterday, but uh the pride and joy of Oaklair, Wisconsin, Richard Dick Porn did shutter uh earlier this month. I believe it was on July 1. He was 88 years old. local Oaklair, Wisconsin legend. Um, so just want to give the condolences to the family and everyone that knew Mr. Porn. Um, heard he's a great dude. Uh, and had a great name, Dick Porn. I mean, how many more Dick Porns will there be in the world?
Uh, that's just a hell of a name bar.
Uh, going into the DMV, sir, what is your name? License and registration. My name is Richard Dick Porn. So, um, >> Richie Porn. Good life though. like and my condolences go out to the porn family as well. You know, Richie Porm was a great dude. Um, and the thing about Dick is 88 years old, right? I mean, run, >> great run. I mean, for Dick Porn. I mean, that is just >> you kind of get to that age where it's like, you know, sometimes, you know, God shows you the door. And I'm sure Mr. Porn is looking down on us right now and, you know, he's got a smile on his face. He's probably porn up there.
>> Yeah. He loves um his charitable work of of to giving back. So, I think on behalf of the family, he's giving all he's he had a ton of Blu-ray DVDs of um old school softcore porn. So, I think they're doing like a garage sale and a just some giving away some memorabilia. Um the porn family this week uh at their local Oakclair estate. So, if you're in the area, if you're in the neighborhood, um and you know the porns, uh stop by. Um I think all proceeds go to local uh charitable causes. So, >> charitable porns. All the proceeds I was reading was going to uh amateur porn companies in the area to help them get off the ground.
>> Yep. Yeah. It's at the end of the day, it's all a startup. So, Yep. It's all I got.
>> How funny would a startup porn company be? Like, we got to make it. We got to work hard. Like, these scenes got to be good.
>> Got to pound hard.
>> We got to [ __ ] hard today. Like, this this lease is up in this apartment and we got to be [ __ ] We got to [ __ ] our way out of here. All right. It's getting hotter than two rats and a wool sock tucking in here. All right. Uh we'll be out of here, folks. Um I am working a uh a hockey camp this week, so I'm out. Uh we'll be back next week, I think.
>> Yeah. Are we So when are you back again?
Next twos.
>> Yeah, I'll be back. Uh it's Wednesday to Sunday, so I can uh I can get on the waves next Monday.
>> Yeah. Like the video right now. Drop a comment. Um, that really helps us out.
Guys, the Kardashian chins episode I was I told you I was cutting clips last night and I don't know if I was just a little baked, but that is such a good episode, but we were releasing so much people skipped that episode. And then the episode after that did really well.
So, maybe go back and listen to that one this week. But that's all I got. I'll shut the [ __ ] up. My my [ __ ] tailbone's killing me. I'm sitting People are saying I'm in a closet.
There's no walk-in closets in this house. I'm in like a like a I guess like a laundry room type thing. Um, there's a crockpot right here. here. It's just a bunch of [ __ ] if you guys want to see.
>> Yeah, [ __ ] >> Dude, that that episode was getting no love. Uh I thought it was one of our better remote ones to be honest, but that just goes to show you the uh the algorithm and nothing makes sense in this business. So yeah, I thought that was that Kardashians one was one of the more fun ones. They're all fun to do, but I just thought that was a that one was a great breakdown of a lot of different things. I was watching that yesterday, too. It was hilarious.
>> Yeah. And I was even I had to kind of be trigger sensitive because I was in a public library which my sister was actually chirping me about. She's like, "You're really doing your show in a public library." It's like, "Well, >> maybe if >> we had a bigger house, I can kind of >> not do it on the floor of a makeshift closet." But um yeah, Patreon. Meg in the chat brought it up. I don't know when we're going to do a Patreon.
Patreon people are not happy with us. We kind of we missed a week, but >> yeah, we did put out 7,000 pieces of content, but yeah, we we'll do that. I wonder maybe we'll try to get one in uh later this week if you know we got some time or whatever, but can you call in like if we did Patreon and I'm just talking about the the inner linings of our business right now on the air. Um like theoretically if I was on the road and I had just my phone pulled up with sell service, could you do a Patreon or No. Yeah, >> maybe we do that maybe like Sunday or something.
>> Yeah, we can connect it through um Streamyard and we'll be good on that.
Yeah, I was thinking about that since I'm just a massive surfer now. I wanted to try to do something from the beach, but there's just no [ __ ] service when you get way out east here. So, yeah.
>> Um I was thinking about doing something creative like that, but we'll we'll see.
But yeah, to answer your question, >> yeah, we could do that.
>> Okay. Yeah, maybe we maybe we try for that. Uh like we said, nothing is ever guaranteed on the show, but we always overd deliver. So, uh, lastly, Obie Watch Group. Obie watch group on Instagram. Go check it out. If you're looking for a time piece, we've had a Home by3 listener buy a watch from Obie.
They love it. They bought a Rolex Daytona that MSRP for somewhere between 20 and $28,000 market price. Obi will always get you the best deal. Go over to Obie Watch Group. If you're looking for a time piece, I just got some new Rolexes in from the Guts Switzerland.
So, um, he sold over a thousand watches.
I think it's almost 2,000 now, especially since he signed on with us.
Go check it out at OBWatch Group. Talk to Luke O'Brien. Tell him the fellas Gucci and Swiss sent you and he'll see what he can do for you. But OBatch Group on IG. Talk to the fella Luke O'Brien.
Yeah. And lastly, while we say lastly for the last 16 minutes, this kid commenting, he commented on my Instagram, too. He's like, "You can't surf on the East Coast." I just don't know. I just don't know like if he's ever been outside before, but there's a lot of good surfing on the East Coast. I just I just wanted to address that with that kid. Um, all right guys, a lot of chicks in the chat right now. We're out.
>> I know. There is a lot.
>> Uh, Yanni, love you, too.
>> Shout out Finland, man.
>> This might be a record chick amount, dude. I think I've seen 10 in here today. Maybe not 10.
>> It's weird. It's like just when a chick on Hinge brings us down like chicks. It always goes to show that like chicks love being disrespected. I feel like >> Yeah, something like that.
>> That's not true. All right, we're out of here, y'all. Peace.
