The video skillfully balances the thrill of discovery with a deep respect for ancient engineering, making remote history feel both accessible and awe-inspiring. It is a vivid reminder of how indigenous ingenuity once thrived in the most unforgiving landscapes.

Topographical Map leads to a find of a lifetime! - First Humans here in 1,000 Years.Added:
We found a topographical map that led us to the find of a lifetime. But we've only made it this far and now have found a series of cliff dwellings to explore and an unreachable cave. What we find makes us think we're the first modern-day humans to be here since the ones who built it.
Woo! Guys, it's not Christmas. It's past Christmas, but it sure feels like it.
We're just sitting here talking, Noah and I, about why is so much pottery uphill from like this structure. And we just got to looking because, you know, obviously it runs downhill. We got to looking and we look up and can you believe it? Because I can't look at that.
No idea that that was there. Can you see that?
It blends perfectly except for that shadow right above it. Look how far away that is.
An actual cliff dwelling. And we've been we've been right here on all these.
That's the pottery we were just looking at right there. And then we have one of these structures. Over here's another one. Over here's another one. And we've spent the day looking at flat flip flint points and pottery. And then my goodness gracious, what is going on?
>> All right, guys. Sorry I didn't film the whole thing on the way up here. It's just sometimes you got to put the camera away and pay attention to what you're climbing. There it is, though, man.
Look where we're at.
I mean, our camp is so far over there.
Here we go.
All right, we made it all the way up here.
to so excited to see what this was. I mean, it is fascinating. I don't uh I'm at a loss to even be able to tell you what I'm looking at. It's not a It's not a granary. It's not It's a little wall that is just built here on the the edge of nowhere.
And if we come just peek around here.
Come in here.
It's just this little I got no idea. It's like a stack of rocks up here.
We'll keep exploring and see if there's something that uh you know will explain. I don't know if the wall came out here in the past. I really don't see where it did. But here we are.
It's a little bit of perspective of where we're at. So, there's a there's a dwelling right up there. I think it's a dwelling. I mean, they're cliff dwellings. We are in the cliffs. And then this wall here in front of me is completely blocking um access to the other side. But I'm going to think I can get over this little wall. Most likely there would have probably been a doorway here at some point or something like that, but hey guys, thank you for being here. We sure appreciate you. We got a lot of fun things coming to you from this great state of Alaska. Down here is a little Russian village called Katchamac.
And in honor of the Russian village, we wanted to say Pashidish Nanash Canal, please subscribe to our channel. We need you to keep this happening.
This is a full-on structure here.
If you all are wondering where the excitement is in my voice, just let me just tell you, it's because I'm I'm a little nervous right here. So, I'm excited, but the nerves have kicked in. So, I'm kind of kind of quiet.
Oh my. What is going on?
So, interestingly enough, the wall is like broken down here. You can see where it's fallen right here in front of me.
But it looks like there would have been an entrance right there. Okay, here's where the entrance was. And look right here. This piece of wood, probably old juniper, was probably part of the lentil above this doorway.
Man, this place is fascinating.
These cliff dwelling people were something else. I'm telling you, they chose the extremities.
I'm so curious about what what I'm going to come across up here.
Again, the masonry work is pretty great.
This just didn't have much of a an overhang above. I'll see if I can show you here.
>> Tiny piece of property.
>> It's got a little bit of an overhang, but it doesn't stick out very far, so it doesn't have a whole lot of shelter.
For those of you who haven't heard of cliff dwellings, these are homes built into cliffs hundreds to thousands of years ago by people who chose some of the hardest places on Earth to live. And the main controversial question is what were they trying to protect themselves from?
this cliff edge and we're headed over to these other two. And look, just as we're going out, look up above us right here.
I've never seen anything quite like that.
The about as preserved also as I've ever seen.
Wow.
Looks like a little water runoff has rubbed out a couple of them there. Let's get a little better look.
Up here very unnatural and had to be brought up here. Do you see this big rock right here? This big black rock compared to the size of my hand.
It had a purpose.
That's weird. Look at that little grub under there. Little grub or something.
What is it?
That alive?
Oh, that's weird.
And then right here next to this rock is these red rocks. Do you see this red rock?
And you're like, "Well, where did they come and what are they for?" Because there's another one right here.
And Noah just mentioned that he thinks that they could have been used to make the paint for those.
>> Oh, there's a flake right there. There's a right on top of the ground. More of that purple stuff right there. Do you see that?
Then this is actually in a structure.
The walls have all but crumbled here.
And so this would have been kind of a dividing line here.
This one's kind of falling.
Just got to get out here on the edge a little bit.
That is a long way down right there.
Hugging the inside here for sure.
Just kind of cruising on down this ledge.
A whole lot of tension except for safety.
Get down here. Peek right here. Get on my knees. It's a little safer.
Man, they were mountain goats. I'm telling you. Mountain goats.
>> They were mountain goats, dude.
This terrain to them is like us walking on pavement. So, let me ask you a question. On the same shelf, same elevation that we are on right now with these cliff dwellings is a cave just to the left. Do you think they could have got to it and used it? Let us know in the comments.
Reviewing the footage, we notice these stacked rocks. Are these natural or did someone handstack them?
All right, guys. Noah's over here. This is a little close to the edge, so he's going to stay over here. But I was coming back and I was just filming and I seen Oh, let me get down here so I can show you right here. Here's another another point. And it's just again, I came through and so the lighting lets me see it. But let me just show you right there. You see that?
Oh, that is really Isn't that strange?
But it doesn't look like this in the in the light like we were seeing the other ones, but has that purple purple. Boy, that is really shiny.
That is fascinating.
Huh? It's like the black one that I found, except this one's a real purpley red.
That's a little bigger, too. Me take it out and take a photo of it for you.
Pretty crazy.
Found the pictographs today. We found a couple pieces of flint up here, but then this very It's not that odd, I guess, because of all the purple stone I'm finding down below. And it's odd to find another arrowhead. This place is like filled with them. We're probably three miles from where we found the four the other day. And so anyways, it's Let's put it back. Anyways, if you guys get up here, there it is.
Let me show you where I'm at before I film this. So, there's the ledge. Noah's on it. And then on down below. when I scrambled up here in this al cove looking for pictographs or some other something.
It's fascinating.
Nothing up here.
Can't explain it, people.
Can't explain it.
Okay, I'm still up in this al cove. Let me just show you. Noah's down below. I'm coming back down and look right that green leaf. You see that black piece of pottery below it?
So, why were they up in here with pottery?
I don't know.
Maybe it was out of the sun.
Just we just found another Oh, it's again another uh piece of lava rock that is completely again look at this.
No lava around here. So, this was brought in and this is in this is in a pathway that they would have taken. You can see the saddle up there. So, here's a piece of lava and it's dished out on the top. You can see it's got a little curve in it. Can you see that? So, I don't know if this was a piece of a matate at one time. Might be getting a little closer to solving my question. We just found a piece of lava rock up there and now Noah just found this one. How out of place it is, right? And look how this one is dished. There's no question.
Look at this.
Look how it's dished.
So, this is probably I mean, let me show you something. Can you see how smooth this is?
And you see how you see how broken this is. It's broken and broken. So this is a piece of a matate for sure. Look at that. Perfectly smooth, too. I mean, it's not rough.
That has been That's amazing, Noah. So, maybe now I know what all this lava rock is for.
Hey everyone, I'm in Alaska if you can't tell by the moose right here. So, subscribe and we'll see you next week.
