Sharing Advice That Was Given to Me When Newly Diagnosed With MSAjouté :
Hi, my name is Dr. Kristy Kenchlow. I have been diagnosed with MS and I'm also a psychiatric PA.
I wanted to share some encouragement that was given to me after my own diagnosis. Exercise and listen to your body for fatigue. Respect your intuition regarding your limitations like needing rest and sleep. Learn to meditate. Do some parasympathetic training to reduce cortisol. Check out different diet protocols. It may not help you as it has helped others. We all have different genetics and different genetic microbiome. If it's not the one for you, let it go. Nurture hope and love in your life because it's still a good life.
