Philippine National Police Chief General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. stated that while it would be best for Senator Bato dela Rosa to voluntarily surrender to authorities to save government resources, the PNP will still enforce the International Criminal Court arrest warrant against him for his alleged participation in former President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs; Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla confirmed that dela Rosa left the Senate with Senator Robin Padilla, who admitted to allowing him to board his vehicle but stated he only dropped him off in Makati City and did not know where he went afterward.
