Improper installation of brake system components, such as failing to apply Loctite on mounting bolts, can lead to component failure and rotor damage, potentially causing brake malfunction and safety hazards; proper torque specifications and secure fastening are essential for brake system reliability.

You like the way I feel my free ass.
If you need >> What's going on, YouTube? It's your boy Gator back with another video. On today's video, we messing with the MC, the morning call SS.
>> Darn it.
>> I got this boy out the house, man.
Finally got him out the house. So, we going to go ahead and fix these rotors on this uh Monte Carlo. Y'all know this been giving me hell since I changed it.
Red out here doing some work and got it all busted down. We got to go get some bolts cuz uh the bracket that bolted up right there. The bolts bagged out of that bracket and ate the backside up of the roller. If y'all can see it, I'll show y'all once he finished. But uh yeah, make sure y'all hit that like button now. It's not going to stop the video. Hit that subscribe button. It's free. And hit that notification bell.
And if y'all want to look out for my homeboy, you know I do pay him. But if y'all want to look out for them, y'all can cash out them. A dollar, $5, $10.
What's your cash app?
>> Sterling Auto 66.
>> All right. Sterling Auto 66. I'm going to show y'all on the screen. Cash out, man. Y'all want to cash out them?
A$1510.
Y'all know he ain't working that much.
He had to get that defibrillator put in his heart. So yeah, stay tuned. If y'all new to the channel, man, I ain't drove this thing in like 4 months. It's been down and I couldn't get the big hub caps off. So I had to go to the rim shop, get it towed to the rim shop on the tow truck, let them take that off. They thought I had a warranty. The warranty expired. So now I got to pay to get the hubs rebuilt.
The big cap rebuilt, man.
If it ain't one thing, it's another.
We'll be back in the city this weekend.
I promise you. And I got to mess with the AC, too.
Forgot about that part. But we going to uh change all them O-rings. And it might be the condenser, Red said. But we going to do the O-rings first. Make sure we look at the condenser. If we don't see no holes or no rocks that went under the car and hit the condenser, then we'll just mess with the O-rings. But if we see anything on the condenser, then we'll just change it out. cuz everything else new, the compressor, the dryer. So, that's the only other thing. It could be either the O-rings, one of the O-rings messed up and it's leaking or the condenser. So, I'm going to cut y'all back on. We got to go to the bolt store and get some bolts for that bracket, which I'm going to show y'all that the bolts bagged out, like I say, and hit the back and ate the back of this rotor.
And the other one on the other side chipped. So, stay tuned, man.
So, Red getting the new rollers situated.
Sterling. Sterling.
And that what that man call me. Red.
>> Oh, red.
>> Yeah.
>> But this is the bracket.
That's was behind there. And the screws bagged out.
>> These are the screws that bagged out cuz they didn't have no Loctite on them. We got some Loctite. Now the red one high temperature from O'Reilly we will be putting on there not on the caliber bolts but these are the bolts that bag out of this bracket behind the rotor on the back side of the rotor and it ate it ate all the way around as y'all can see >> making a noise.
>> Yeah it was making noise ate all the way around. It's not that bad on the other side, but the other rotor is cracked from when the caliber came off on me.
So, we going to change that side, too.
But, man, whoever y'all ever get to do it, cuz Red didn't put these on. Another guy did it and he didn't put that Loctite in on it or tighten all the bolts up. Make sure y'all double check behind them, man. Cuz this really could have been a worse than this.
>> Unbought.
>> Yeah. It really, really, really could have been worse than this. It could have been on the bottom.
>> Could have killed you.
>> Yeah, could have killed. But everything else look like it's good.
>> That [Β __Β ] broke. It wasn't worked out.
>> Yeah.
Everything else look good.
But like I said, we still got to go to the boat store, which ain't too far from here. And we going to try to get some more boats like this since these messed up. You know, it messed up the head of them.
So, we got to get some more.
Y'all stay tuned. I'll cut y'all back on.
All right. Here you go. Loctite. We got the bracket. We got the screws. Let me show y'all one of the screws. So, this how it was posted.
>> How it go, I guess.
>> That way riding on the inside.
>> Yeah. He didn't have Loctite. So, this how the >> You got it. Uh the top >> how the screw look we took out that ate the inside the rotor up like that. That's what I showed y'all.
It rolled on the inside of the rotor bag up.
>> You open the top of there.
>> Oh no. Got the bracket on there now. Got the lock loctite on it.
Got the rotor assembled.
>> Give me a hell. You got enough grease on >> Oh, for the bearings on it.
>> Yeah, I going to put some on. But that's >> Yeah, that's I think that's pretty good.
But yeah, we going to assemble it back on this side and we probably mess with the other side later depending on how this time is and however.
We got some motion, baby.
We got some motion, y'all. Stay tuned. We'll be back shortly.
And these wheels did have a spacer on it.
I don't know what size it is, but that's what it say on there. I never knew it had a space on the front.
What's going on, fam? So, we back today early trying to beat the sun, but as you can see, it still beat us. It's like 6:40, 67.
Trying to knock this out other side out before it get too hot. but came back today and I don't know what this is, but it stained the wheels.
Can't really say it's brake fluid cuz it's on the front side. It's not nowhere on the back side and it's just on the two front wheels on the front and we had the wheels rolled way to the side. So, I don't know. I'm confused, man.
I am confused.
And we having a little issue. This side he think is locked up.
You would have thought it was the other side. That was the side that was messed up. But this the side with the chip rotor.
It's been like that for a while.
Let me wipe this camera off.
So yeah, we working on this side now.
And like I was saying, this is side with the chip roll. It been like that for a couple of months now. But like I said, we didn't even work on this side yesterday. And this rim on this side stain, but it's not as bad. But we didn't even work on this side yesterday.
So I'm really confused. And if y'all know, let me know in the comments how I could get something like this off. Y'all see that? some stains. I tried to wipe it.
Didn't come off. I don't know, man.
I really don't know. And like I said, we had the rim way over here.
Nowhere near the brake fluid. But and if it was the brake fluid, why would it just be on the front side and not the back side of the wheel or the inner barrel? You know what I'm saying?
Y'all let me know in the comments if y'all know a solution to getting that stain off or something.
I'll cut y'all back once we try to get this caliber unlocked or whatever. Stay tuned.
Look like it froze up over here. Nothing telling people what's going on. Tylen broke and the bearings froze up. So, we going to probably have to go get new bearings and stuff on this side. And we think they had it too far back cuz it looked like it was rubbing on. I think that was the control arm. Huh. Looked like it was rubbing on on the bottom.
So, they might have had the rotor too far hit too far back on there.
But, it still ain't as bad as the other side was. I'll show y'all once we get it off.
But it's giving red hell because of getting a lock frozed up.
I'll turn y'all back on once we get it off.
Had to change that down some. that control arm was riding on the um on the rotor on this side for some odd reason.
I don't know if something really wasn't adjusted, but I don't think so cuz I had got the front end redid before I put the wheels on there.
It got everything redid and all alignment. So, I can't see nothing really coming out of whack on one side, but we just noticed when we took the rotor off on this side, it looked like it was riding on the control arm cuz it had uh you can see some marks previously like that just a little bit, but we went ahead to shave it down. Shaved it down some. So, when we put this new one on there, it don't be riding on it. So, we'll know if something out of whack on the front cuz it'll move again or something. But so far so good. We should be done within about 20 minutes. We got everything tightened up on the new rotor. As y'all can see, lock tight on it. Lock tight on the um that little um spacer.
So, we ought to be good, man.
What you got to say?
>> I'm dry.
>> You tired of messing with this, huh?
It's hot, man. It ain't nothing but 7:30. 97Β°, man. It's >> 7:30.
>> It's 7:30.
>> I'm joking.
>> We going to get back to it, though.
So, we just made it back from the part store. Had to go there, buy some odarings, column pins, but we got it all the way back together and it's not hidden. So, we're pretty good. Now you going to um >> put this caliber back on push them back in and we'll be done probably in about 15 minutes hopefully if we don't run into no other problems.
So y'all stay tuned man. Stay tuned.
So we finished y'all. Finished product.
Still got to go get the S center caps from Signature Rides. Y'all know uh those broke yesterday, so they rebuilding them. I pick them up from either later today or tomorrow, they said. But uh first ride.
Hopefully Red did the right thing, y'all. I don't have to cut them in this [Β __Β ] Pumping the brakes up before we take our first ride. And I just put some old fluid in there.
Oh yeah. Let me show y'all my partner cash out. Man, if y'all want to cash out him, a dollar, five, 10. Y'all know he ain't working that much. He had to get that defibrillator put in his heart. So that's why we just do one side at a time. Yesterday we did one side at a time, man. Cuz it be so hot out, y'all.
You know, I need him here for a while with me. Then I'll kick him to the curb when I'm done.
>> So if y'all want to send him something cash out stuff, man, take off. You good?
>> Sound good. I don't hear no rubbing so far or nothing.
Y'all let me know if y'all hear something. I don't hear nothing.
Nothing.
doing here something I miss.
We still got something else to do. I still got to mess with the AC and look like the transmission pan leaking or something. So, it was wet under there.
So, we probably do that in a couple of days, too, man.
All my gauges look like they still working. God damn, it's low on gas.
Feel good. Feel good. Feel good.
Feel good. Feel good.
Oh yeah.
Oh, I do hear some rubbing. Oh [Β __Β ] Come on, bro.
I do feel some heard some rubbing, man.
When I hit the brakes, for the most part, I heard something, but while I'm going, I don't hear nothing.
Boy, boy, boy. Been a long time coming, man. This car been parked 3 4 months. We back now though, baby.
Red still at the house.
I don't know.
I did hear a noise when I did hit the brakes.
Hitting them nine ain't making nothing though.
Oh, there they go.
When I hear them, I'm feeling like they rubbing. We'll figure it out. All right.
So, >> might get me a job and >> Oh, I'm going to do the same thing. So, >> get on the couch.
>> I ain't going to do that.
>> Anybody at my house?
>> Oh, man. But yeah, I'm going to go uh get myself situated. I got to go to work. But we thinking it may be adding the line cuz this caliber was smoking.
So, it might be sticking on this side.
So, another day when we mess with that AC, we going to take that off and bleed it down.
We going to change this accumulator.
The compressor is new. I'm going to say about 2 years old as you can see. And you don't see no oil or nothing. But just in case, we going to take this off and change the O-rings behind it. Change that dryer office tube. So if it leak out again, the only other thing we can think it is is the condenser. That's the only thing that ain't been changed. But from looking at it, it don't look bent up or nothing. So we going to just do them two things first. I already got a uh a dryer.
So um yeah, that's it, man.
That's it. So we back in the morning colo. It's back on the road. Let me know what y'all think in the comments, man.
And uh make sure y'all hit that like button. It helps the channel out and it'll greatly be appreciated. Make sure y'all hit that subscribe button. It's free. And hit that notification bell so y'all be notified. I appreciate y'all if y'all watch this long. Stay tuned for the next video, next updates to the Monte Carlo and the Caprice and the Camaro.
Peace out.
