was able to build a world in which I am not anxious or worried about tomorrow or all that spiraling trying to go back into anxiety, negative situations because I refuse to stand on my feelings. Feelings are fickle. Feelings are things that change. And if you're a Christian, you've heard of the scripture that says that we do not live by how we feel, but by what the word of God says.
So, we cannot trust our emotions.
They're not stable enough for us to build our life decisions on.
Boundaries.
These are rules and guidelines individuals establish to define what is safe to them and permissible ways for others to behave.
Overcrolling sometimes watching video after video brings forth anxiety and also limiting your access or your eyes to access such things. You can limit to one hour. You can limit to maybe say from when I return from work my phone is off. I'm not on social media. That helps to drop down those anxiety feelings that one would encounter.
Remind yourself that discipline doesn't take away from you rather it adds to you. The kind that takes away chaos and gives you freedom.
The one that helps you to be able to be there for your family, be there for your friends, be there for your loved ones.
The kind that improves you and turns you into a better version of yourself than you were before. Being able to put yourself in such discipline for example if you're a Christian set yourself on a discipline of the study of the word in 3 months you'll be a very different person and you'll look back and say or I never knew I would do this your perspective will change your way of life will change and it is amazing Some of the ways to protect your mental and spiritual environment.
For me, what I've done is studying the word is one of them. When you give yourself to the word of God, it keeps your mind sane.
It keeps you sober in a world that is full of so many voices speaking and being invested in the word of God will keep you away from anxiety, fear and all those things. And the other way I do that is through prayer. Make time to pray.
Have you ever thought of this that no matter the kind of responsibility or the weight of responsibility that you have over you to try to extend grace to your life, grace to those around you with whatever tasks, with whatever things that have been handed to you to do, to be gracious, to be kind. Yes, you've done your level best, but again, if something doesn't work out the way you thought it should, you should also be able to extend grace to yourself. This will enable you to become free from anxiety and panic attacks.
