Henry Nowak's murder EXPOSES "deeper rot" within police and justice system

[00:00:00]I'm furious and heartbroken and I just can't stop thinking about what Henry's family are going through and the dignity that his father displayed yesterday. It it just breaks everyone's heart, doesn't it? But we've got to be really honest about what this is about. This is importantly not about knife crime as the prime minister wants it to be. This is about deeper rot in policing, in our criminal justice system, and indeed in our broader culture. And frankly, we don't have justice for Henry yet. The sentence is far too lenient. As attorney general, uh I can tell you without a doubt, this is a lenient sentence. I dealt with hundreds of these cases and this must rightly be referred. Nigel Farage today, this morning has announced that he is referring this case, this sentence to the attorney general to look at because I believe it must be increased. 21 years as a minimum term before Digua is considered for parole is wholly insufficient given the gravity and the enormity of his crime.
