Apollo 17 Captured Something NASA Still Can’t Explain

[00:00:15]The official caption says there is no consensus about the nature of the anomaly and that a new preliminary analysis indicated that it could be a physical object. The release also includes a transcript from the Apollo 17 mission. The astronauts are recorded describing what they saw outside the spacecraft.

[00:00:30]In the transcript, one astronaut reports very bright particles or fragments or something drifting by as the vehicle maneuvers. He says it looks like the 4th of July out of astronaut Ron Evans window. He describes them as very jagged angular fragments that are tumbling.
