Oh my. You guys, you're not. No.
Oh, fun.
Okay.
That's right.
I don't like using this.
Okay.
Hi.
Hey, dude.
Okay, there's one.
Guess I didn't need that one.
This one.
Good morning. Good morning.
Getting everybody's food ready.
Okay. Leaving that in there. Okay.
There's that.
Why do I have this?
>> Sorry.
>> Okay.
Um, hey.
>> Mhm.
Okay.
I'm trying. Guess what?
>> You're doing great.
>> I needed like someone's life.
>> Yep. Okay. And >> pretty soon. Okay. We need to put some kibble down.
Anytime that these babies go potty, the ones in there, the screamers, anytime they go potty over here, >> holy >> hi. Anytime they go potty over here, put I've done it too many times. I keep just autopiloting putting it in there. Throw it into the just one or two, whatever, into their litter box.
>> Okay. I did start doing that yesterday, but that was half of them.
>> Um Okay.
>> Yeah.
Change your cage.
>> Okay. Well, >> I've got formulas heating up for them. I don't know what you're doing.
>> Trying to find >> the meaning of life.
>> I get it.
>> They want out. They want food.
>> No, actually one's biting the other one.
Oh, I'm talking about the ones in the nursery.
>> No, they always do that.
>> Chef, that's the other one.
Okay, Tim.
>> Yeah.
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, shoot.
>> There it is.
I swear he has to get ready just to get everybody else.
Okay, that one's for this evening, I think.
Yeah, cuz I don't know how.
Okay, I'm I almost prefer working alone and working myself to the bone.
H Oh, it's just I I kind of prefer working myself to exhaustion.
If I could do that and then just have them here for about a week, that'd be great.
We have a different chemistry when we're doing construction together. Totally different chemistry than this. This is my thing, not his.
So, yeah. Anyways, and of course, getting up throughout the night is not an easy feat.
Hey, I I've got to ask you a question.
Do I need to take a Sharpie and write on this? Do not open. Don't use anything in here.
>> That used to be my favorite drawer to my defense. But no, I'm getting better.
>> It is really easy to know it's not your favorite drawer because it takes for freaking ever to open.
>> For me, >> okay, >> that's where we always kept everything.
So, yeah. No, I I only go in there unless we absolutely need >> No, >> you said >> if the uh if the if everything's been washed proper >> every day, >> it should be that we always have scoopers. Always. Not a big deal.
Um, I don't know how we got off the routine of the dungeon girls cuz there should have been food in there in the refrigerator.
>> They're usually the first ones I Oh, no.
I used the last one.
>> But see, I have >> Okay. When do you want it? In the morning.
>> Okay. Listen, because it was over soupy the other What was it? A week ago. It went from being made in the morning and having one in the evening to then being made in the evening and having one in the morning. But now there's not I didn't know how that worked when that switch happened again. So anyways, >> I couldn't know either because I remember you setting it back the way it was and then all of a sudden yesterday morning >> it's not a was it that's always been the way it has been is except for >> Okay. Yeah, I got that. But I'm saying I don't know how it changed or when it changed yesterday because I noticed it.
>> That would be yesterday.
>> I had to make one.
>> That would be yesterday. That means that there was >> So in the morning I had to make one.
>> That means that there was one time that was forgotten. Please make sure their cables filled.
>> Do you have one?
>> Already fed.
>> Okay.
Farm kittens.
Farm kittens.
I know we didn't use all that toilet paper I'd wrapped. Oh, there it is.
He moves things to make sense for him.
Sure.
Okay. I'm going to call keeper or companions >> real quick. You got it. Is that what you just said?
You know how she kicks him out?
>> What?
>> The cat >> kicks who does >> I didn't didn't know that she was kicking cat litter out.
>> So it was pushed back.
>> No, it was done right. It says she's kicking it out the end without the So we're have to put a piece of cardboard on that end where you would walk in.
>> Oh jeez. Okay. I I don't even know what you're talking about, honey. You know the entrance to the camp.
>> Okay. I need you to tell us.
>> No, no, no, no, no.
>> Well, the other way you kic it out, too.
>> But it's easier to clean up the other way.
>> I'll get it. Don't worry.
>> I know. I put it back in there. I'll move the We need to get her out here.
>> No, no, no. You need to go back to your place and stop trying to run things.
>> Did you just say we need to get her out of here?
>> No.
This is why I want to run things on my own.
Okay.
I've got to call companion. Try to get a an appointment hopefully for Winnie.
That would be awesome.
Okay, chef is good here. No, >> I'm just drying my hands. Okay, I want it. Sure.
No, I'll call back. I can't. I've got too many plates spinning as it is. Okay.
They're adorable.
They are. And they are approaching the two week mark.
They are approaching the two week mark.
They are now 1 week 3 days is I know.
There we go.
Good.
>> Uh, do me a favor, >> Tim?
>> Yes.
>> Leave these over here. I found them on top of the boxes for some reason.
Yeah, I moved here. I was potty for you last night. Sorry.
Come on.
>> I know. I know. Let's just tap tap tap.
Are you hungry?
There we go.
Good girl.
Wow.
Somebody was uber hungry.
Full. I would say that that's 12 ms right there that she just drank. Yeah.
Yeah. She's getting up there now. We're going to have to switch over to a 20 soon enough. Oh my goodness.
That was pretty impressive, little one.
Okay.
I know. I know.
Of course, these ones wh you got to do is get them started and all of a sudden they're peeing. But they like to be pooped on their back. I don't know how in the world this is going to work very well, but you know, we're going to try because they prefer to be pooped on their back.
Now, this one we don't have a litter box for yet because they're still in the Bruder. They're far away from being able to be in the boot in in a plate. Then I know right. Yeah, that's a baby. That's a baby.
Alexa, play my favorites.
Okay.
I'm sorry. I probably said that the wrong way because I know that she has a specific way of you asking for No, I think I said it right.
>> Yeah.
That's it. That's all. You're all empty.
You're all empty.
Jeez.
>> Yeah.
Okay.
I don't see you eating this much, but we'll see.
I'm doing this because I don't want it being too warm.
Perfect. Just so happens I kind of gauge that, right? Okay. Did you want to try anymore?
Yep.
Okay.
We've got some other things to deal with this Morning too.
Well, let's see if this was enough.
There we go.
Such a good boy.
Wow.
Wow.
Yeah. I'm going to just put a little bit more in there.
Shoot.
Well, that turned out to be from a little bit too what the fluff.
Okay, let's get you pottied.
>> Hey, it's okay.
There we go. Good job.
FYI, if you didn't know, babies should be pottied every time. It's called stimulated but it's called pottied whatever every time every time they are fed. If you don't do this they could have some serious health issues develop. Um and they should go poop once to anywhere from well at least once a day up to four to five times a day.
I mean it just depends on the baby and like this baby is trying to go poo poo now.
They will not be able to go unless they are stimulated. That's why mama does that. And if mama's not around, humans have to do it. If humans don't do it again, they will they can end up having some serious Come on.
Some serious issues that can develop.
Okay. I'm trying to see if he will continue pooping or will Nope. He want He tends to poop better if he's on his back.
Go figure. This has been a learning process for all of us because I've never had a baby who prefers to potty on their back even though they want to get on their front.
Of course, they will protest with mama, too.
Come on.
The poop started to come out. I could, you know, you could see that.
Come on.
And always be gentle with babies. Um, something to note also, as much as you think your kids are fantastic and wonderful, always always supervise children with animals, especially cats, because cats can if they get hurt or something like that by somebody, especially if kids are rough with them, they will scratch. They will bite because guess what? They're having to defend themselves. And kids, they might be small, but they are huge compared to a kitten. And they can do some severe damage.
And if you're not aware of it, bad things happen. And it happens unfortunately all the time because there's too many kittens because people don't get their animals fixed as they should.
Okay, honey.
I'm trying to get keep it from getting all over your tail.
>> I know.
There we go.
There we go. Yep. Just start screaming and pushing it out, please.
Oh, this is such a nasty nasty attempt.
Alexa, volume down.
Oh my gosh.
This is like he's trying, I'm trying, but we're trying to do different things.
Oh, Tim's up there talking to Ken. It's like, come on. We've got other animals that need to be fed.
Okay, Tim.
>> Yeah.
>> Who hasn't been fed then?
>> Uh, I got the room in here.
>> You do the nursery.
>> That's the room here. Yeah. So, I'm doing that now.
>> Okay. So, now >> Yeah.
So four and four.
It is four and four and chef.
Okay.
I put a little bit of warm water on here kind of to mimic mama's tongue.
Mama's tongue is not soft, by the If you've ever noticed cat's tongue, they got little teeth on their tongue.
That's for grooming.
>> Little barbs on their tongue.
>> I know. I'm just trying to make sure you have finished pooping.
You do not want unfinished poops.
I know. There we go.
Okay.
Okie dokie.
Okay. Golly, I know you're a wiggleworm right now. My goodness. Okay, we're going to attempt.
>> You love babies.
>> Oh, I do.
That has nothing to do with it.
for you.
>> Okay.
Forgot to tell you I had a can right here, but that's okay. I can put the can back.
>> I went right on here. What is the date today?
>> 27th.
No, no, no.
Let's see.
Chances are you're going to eat just a little bit more because you just had all sorts of yummy poops and peas and Oh, there's the purse.
Wow, you we ate a lot more than I thought you were going to.
Oh, shoot. You know what? My bad. I need to remember to weigh him next time before I even start.
I try to weigh them at the same time every day or close to >> and I just base that.
And this was not a full syringe, so it's not like I can just do the math. I wasn't even paying attention.
They're healthy, so I don't have to worry about the fact that, you know, I were we're trying to make sure that they're gaining weight or something.
Not. Well, I always make sure they're gaining weight, but right now it would be a false weight because they've got all that stuff in them now that they're digesting.
So, baby number two.
Baby number two. Okay.
Yeah, the purr are awesome.
So, if you're wondering why I'm wearing just one glove, it's because I keep scratching my hand up really bad. That's why. This is just an extra layer of skin, if you will.
Now, his eyes haven't yet started opening, but they should be opening soon. I know.
Yeah.
I just want to get that little eye boogie out.
Yep.
There we go.
Now, never open up the baby's eyes unless it's past the time that it should. And if they really don't want to open and you use a soft, you would use a cotton round or a cotton square like you use for cosmetics or a cotton ball. Don't use a paper towel.
It's an abrasive. Um you can end up doing some damage, but you wet it down with warm water, not hot. And you just hold it there for a few seconds, and then it'll just start to magically open.
If you see crusties, if there's no crusties and their their eye just is not opening, take them to a vet cuz a vet might have to do a surgical opening. Uh, which they need to be put under for that. You don't want to be playing doctor. And just like anything else, if they are under extreme pain, guess what?
>> What's this?
>> They usually don't survive.
>> That's another baby cat killed. I don't know when the date on that was, but why?
>> You know, because it was just sitting around on the floor. I'm like, I don't want to feed my babies if I don't know when it was like given. So, is it good?
>> Um, it was put in there obviously since I got the IKEA bags, which would have mean, you know, within just the last few months. Now, is it good? Probably.
I would say yeah. Didn't know it was in there. That's the problem. Now, would I risk it? I don't even know anything on that one. So, >> I'll just >> Well, don't put that back.
>> No, we'll feed this to any anything.
>> Oh, yeah. We'll talk about that one.
Anyways, excuse me.
We need to bathe frog.
I need to frog. I don't care.
Uh, it's 10 45 now.
Okay, I got to update this again.
Call keepers if possible. papers or whoever that >> I've already Okay, stay in your lane.
Okay, these little things are great for just a few tongues, it looks like.
Son of a gun.
Okay.
Last feed was 9:30.
So many weird things happening with this now. Okay. So, the next one would be about 100 p.m.
Wow.
So, trying to keep three different groups of kittens totally separate on this. It's just been Wow.
Uh, oops.
Why can't I spam Wk Kitty?
Well, because then nobody else can really start to talk either. It gets too much.
Oh, you're a kid. That's why.
Yeah, that's why it says this is not a kids channel.
Okay.
lots of uh since this is open to everybody, but some people don't pay attention to what the kids are doing or watching or participating in. This is super fun. Okay, the next feeding isn't until closer to 11 and that's going to be the screamers and Winnie.
I'm going to try calling keepers again.
Okay, there. Now I can see farm.
Uh, Winnie and the screaming kittens are not to be their their scheduled feeding isn't until 11 and 11:30.
Oh boy.
And medications.
Hi. Uh, this is Char from Princess Care Kitten Coalition. I have a new intake that arrived two days ago that I need to have seen.
Um, she's kind of bad.
Well, she's uh well, luckily it's not as bad as the other one that we had been to, but um uh she definitely has an upper respiratory infection and her eye is clearly affected. Uh I've got that pretty much under control, but I think she needs uh doxycyc.
Um and she's not eating, but I've been using verit no merit. Miritaz on her and tomb feeding her. Um she's 7 weeks old.
So um just trying to make her stable.
Okay. Sure.
If we didn't need to use this on Ghost, I would totally use it on her house.
Chef, she's fine. She's great.
When we see chef, soon enough she's going to be out and about playing in the nursery or in frogs uh area.
today.
Oh, wow. Thank you.
Uh, this one is Winnie.
Yeah, she's 7 weeks old.
No, she's definitely not eating on her own.
I've been having to tube feed her, which is fun with teeth.
I know how. But it's Woody.
Yeah.
Love him. Yeah. Was he picking up meds?
Oh, okay.
Sounds good. Thank you.
Bye. 10:30. So, and less than 35 minutesish.
Okay.
27.
Okay, I have a carrier all ready sterilized, ready to go. I just need to Tim to come out here so I can let him know and then he will most likely be playing.
He'll be showing off chef and everybody.
Um, do what? Hey, Woody. Dropped off a a sample, did you, this morning?
Obviously, not for you, but for kitty.
Uh, this is Iris.
Okay, this is Iris.
Iris. Penny. Penny. Yeah, I'm getting Winnie in. Uh, I I think she needs something more than Clavomox.
Um, that just happens.
So, we'll uh we'll see what the vet suggests. I p I I'm I'm gathering that they're going to prescribe Doxy.
Hopefully they will have some there for her and it doesn't have to go through Wedgewood because that takes too freaking long.
Hey Tim, what you doing?
What?
Thought Ken already did that.
Okay, there is pennies.
Here is irises.
We're going to go into the room, the nursery here in just a second. And that's where Chef is currently. I'll be able to let Chef out for a bit in there before we transfer her over to Frog's area.
She likes work using the wheel. If you didn't know that, she started using the wheel yesterday.
Oh, I know. I I so happy they worked her in.
Now I just need to find my shoes again because usually Oh, there they are.
Okay, here we go. Field trip.
All right, kitten door.
Hello. Hi, Chile.
Hi, Chile.
Hi guys.
Chang and Charlie. There's Teddy.
There's Catnet Kathy. Here's Ghost. I need you.
Here's Ghost, brother.
Hi, buddy.
There you go. Oh, I know.
Got to love it.
Come on, ghost.
It's like, no, I know what's going to happen. I'm going to get medication.
Uh, Tim, come on, ghost.
There goes Jelly.
Come on. Ghosty ghost.
This ghost.
It's a beautiful ghost.
Catnip Kathy, our star runner.
Hi.
I need you to come out just a little bit more.
Come on. Commit. It's okay.
You can do it.
Committed. Yay.
Okay. Ghosty ghosty. Ghosty ghost. Okay.
Doxy.
And then the patinic.
Potenic's just vitamins and minerals for animals. And it's a great way to wash that doxy down because it is a corrosive Thank you. corrosive antibiotic, which means that it can cause sores to develop in the mouth.
>> Um, hey, stop.
>> See, >> I've got an appointment for Winnie at 10:30. So, you're gonna be switching and I'm gonna take her in.
>> Perfect.
>> Oh, Tim, you want to get these?
>> Oh, jeez. You want to get everything about this room?
The litter boxes, the water.
Hi.
Hi.
You're a gorgeous girl.
Let's get the part. Can you see her?
Yeah.
Come on.
We need to just wash you up a bit.
>> No, no, no. We're not playing that. Come on. There's that.
There it is. GS medication. No. No.
No. No. There we go.
>> I know you look like you're about ready to kill.
All right.
>> Come on. It's no different than before.
Come on. Come on. No.
One more. I know.
You're a good girl.
It looks good. Kill.
>> No. No. There you go. Good girl.
Good girl. Yeah. Thank you. take a shower and that >> him.
And then we have Aphroditis up here who is done with her GS meds and the ones that get GS meds are being treated for FIP which is feline and infectious peritonitis. She is done with it. She's now in observation.
Um, Iris will be done with it on May 7th and Penny will be done with it on May 14th. Cannot wait. Cannot wait.
Okay. And now we have Where is it? There it is.
Now I consolidate the foods here onto one plate, which gives them for some reason a renewed interest usually.
Okay. Can you come in here?
>> Oh, >> yeah. Litter boxes and the water all needs to be done.
>> Oh, yeah. Sweeping needs to be done. But do the litter boxes first, please.
>> I don't like kneeling in that.
your baby.
>> I'm going to take her out to probably >> No, she can be on the wheel now.
>> Your baby is a chef.
Okay, I'll be right back. The Chad's right there. Hold on.
>> Hey, Chad.
Okay, baby.
What the Oh, silly girl. That's the dishes from upstairs.
>> Did you bring the dishes down?
>> Yeah, there it should be in the sink.
Unless he's got >> He has to pull the ones in the cage cuz the cages are all done.
>> He'll get him. I know. He'll get it.
>> I don't want to interrupt him. He just did such a good job.
Right.
>> Where's my chef? Chef, >> where are you, baby? Where's the chef?
Chef.
Yeah.
[ __ ] You're so silly, bro.

>> Exactly.
Go. I'll get that.
This is going to >> Good God. That's your only complaint.
>> Hey, baby. What are you doing here?
>> Oh, hey baby girl. I didn't see you.
Penny, >> just jiggle the door handle. She'll come running.
>> I don't even know what you guys are looking at.
>> I didn't even know you were there.
>> Hello, guys. Sorry. Your fearless leaders right here.
Excuse me.
>> Whatever. I just need to get her mix.
That's it.
>> Okay, let's put you guys in here. This is where all the action is happening.
>> Yeah. Okay. I'm trying to get >> there.
You're better than me.
>> No, I put it down. I was doing something.
>> Yep. That's what I >> But I like to have it.
She's off.
>> Oh, she's off today.
>> Oh, she straight up quit.
>> Who?
>> She put in her notice and rolled out.
I'm like, you didn't even get the damn You didn't even >> They didn't give you a hard offer at the other place.
>> She said, "Oh, don't worry about it.
That's my job."
>> Wow. Okay.
>> All right. Uh Tim has now left left station completely and um decided he was going to go find Penny.
>> What?
>> Sid tracking.
>> God, both of you.

He's always been like his mom.
That's why I make the noises because it just helps train them to not be so freaked out.
>> You got baby chef who's always trained.
Just play with her and she'll turn out to be crazy like the rest of the cat.

>> And now she's found her leg.
>> Maybe it was 5 days ago, but now she's on.
I need to charge that thing.
Okay.
Oh, maybe not.
Those are fun little toys and they unless they fall into a hole they virtually don't get stuck or get wedged between something but that's very rare.
Chef don't like that.
Yeah, it's going dead. But it's something cute.
Teddy.
Okay, I'll go charge it.
Okay, I think I found one.
That one looks pretty pretty wiry.
Pretty wiry.
frog.
Oh, he's got wedged.
Frog's hissing at it.
Frog, it's okay, baby.
She just needs to get used to it.
I don't I thought we used to play with frog with that thing lit. Kitty, come here, buddy.
>> Mhm.

Frog shoots into the house.
Poor frog.
Chef loves that thing.
[ __ ] window or bed. She's done with it.
Get out of there.
Little chef loves that thing.
Poor frog.
Yeah, it'll take a while for a frog to get used to that.
They don't know what to think of it.
Okay, hold on.
Okay.
Mhm. All right.
Where' it go? You little cheffy chef.
Get it.
Leave baby.

That's what I told her.
I'll put a catch in the backseat of this giant trip I start to Montana.
>> Yeah, I feel bad for you.
All over. my truck.
I had to wipe myself.
>> Yeah. And then you can't handle Wednesday.
>> Yeah.
Wednesday is Wednesday is my best positive all everything.
I don't know why we're >> Well, >> anything.
Let me see this for a second.
>> Turn it to >> Oh, I wonder.
>> Huh?
>> Are we live streaming? Oh, yeah. Okay.
Right here, baby. Here you go. Try that one. We'll try purple.
I think it's a shorter.
>> Don't worry. I got two more. Two more charging.
>> It's just the most efficient way to do it.
>> Oh, they love these things.
>> It's kind of half dead. So, look how What's up, Ted?
There they are.
Hurry up.
Where's little chef? Oh, chef's Thank you.
It's time.
Yay.
Very important.

Like, where is the next segment of entertainment at?
Where's me happy?
Yappers.
Chef poor chef. Where is the chef?
You're getting tired, aren't you?
Chasing around.
Oh, she was taking a nap.
What are you doing this spring?
Yeah.
Hey.
And the squeaker. And the tweak of the squeezer.
That's not for you.
Everybody, I love you.
Get so busy. You get so busy.
I'm chilling. I chill.
Eddie the little Yeah.
Heavy.
Yay!
Huh?
We'll come in here eventually.
If Harry can do it, you can do it.
You can do it. You can do it.
You just have Teddy. He just lays around.
He just lays here.
Little Teddy.
Oh, he's burning.
He's burning.
Who is this?
You're a girl.
You get him, Chef. Get it.
We love to be pet, but she doesn't like I'm getting the bunny kick.
It's the jumpest cat.
Come here.
Come here.
Oh, nice job. Are you getting tired?
So scared. She >> It's nice to see Penny so active.
>> Yeah, she doesn't like Hill, but she loves Hey, Teddy.
>> Crazy crazy boy.
Where's my baby?
What are you doing over there, baby?
You tired?
Tired.
She's tired.
Little jaws. You come here.
Can't do that.
Hey, P.
Nothing. Nothing.
Let's go, buddy.
>> Hey, Teddy.
>> Feeling crazy.
Oh, big fat boy. Jump for it.
Beautiful.
Good job.
What are you doing?
What are you doing?
What are you doing here?
This is so good for Harry on my strength.
Did you possibly wash that?
>> Okay.
>> Okay, baby.
I guess we're going to wash.
Well, there's lots of things that you could be doing besides that.
>> How was the bed? Is it good? Minnie doing well.
>> She's doing she she's hungry as are the little babies that are in here that need to be fed. But um yeah, we got other stuff and I've got a lysene coming in tomorrow.
So, >> what did you think it was?
>> Exactly what I said. It was upper respiratory infection. She probably has f feline chlamydia, feline uh herpes, um even uh what pisi virus can do to the eye.
It's impossible to tell the difference between any of them unless you do a PCR test. And the vet even said which PCR tests are expensive and not always conclusive.
So which is why most of the time it comes back with policy virus when they've not been even exposed to it which is irritating.
Minor snap tests PCR test they have to send out for they were expensive.
Those are the ones that I got Penny done and it came back. Oh, she's got kesi virus.
>> My god, that just turned me right there.
>> Well, that's why you irritated the hell out of me.
>> I spent over $500 to find out. No, really, she has FIP.
>> Why is that off?
>> I don't want to drain out her food.
>> Oh, well, just open it. But anyways, uh aluterol. Yes. saline solution when she doesn't get the albuterol. Yes. All of that. Yes. She's also now going to be on spam cycle to help the swelling with her eye and everything. That's going to And she they did change her eye medication because the neopolyback hasn't worked.
It hasn't reduced it down hardly at all. They're changing it to ospox. Uh, you might want to put that on the floor unless snowballs out the food.
>> No, no snowball yet. But >> Oh, good.
>> All right. Let's follow your your fearless leader here.
>> Uh, she seemed interested in a churu treat.
>> Oh, good.
>> And she didn't gag when I put it in her mouth. So, that's good. That means that there is improvement.
That's very good.
Oh, God.
All of the litter boxes are going to need to be changed and well dumped and then washed. We'll do that when we're off live.
>> Yeah, bring it on.
>> That's going to be a fun time.
>> I know. I didn't get to sleep till like 2 this morning.
2:30. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Hey, thank you, Sarah.
Thank you.
Who's this?
>> Oh, okay.
>> The hummingbirds back in place.
>> I do too.
Okay. So, we've got medication and I got went ahead and got some more clavox unconstituted.
>> Are we done with this?
>> Yeah.
Yeah. For some reason, they haven't had the diarrhea that they had last night.
So, cute little bags.
>> What?
and nothing else. The mama will keep Tim busy. Okay, >> I've got two a half a tablet. Jeez.
Damn, these are big for little baby. I know, sweetheart. I know you're hungry.
Okay, hold on. Kathy and Kathy wants in, wants out. Wants in.
Wants out. What the [ __ ] Oh, this is the one that's across. Never mind.
Well, maybe I should Then I can try doing two at a time in quarters cuz this thing is like it cuts it in quarters.
She's not going to like it. I'm going to start with a little bit.
And we have some ospox.
That's drops not ointment.
I was kind of shocked and had to ask them get clarification only twice a day because usually drops are four times since it just you know versus the ointment will basically lubricate the orb.
Okay, we need to I know, darling.
Okay, Winnie.
Tim, >> are we doing Winnie first?
>> Yes, she's more important than a bath.
>> No, I was thinking about, you know, her before feeding the three.
>> Not yet. The three are huge. They're They can go a week without eating an >> Stop it. That is not true. Don't ever stop eating feeding your cat.
>> They're bigger than any.
>> Wow.
>> They're amazing.
One thing I don't like is having to use the 30 mil syringe. It Well, >> so she didn't want to eat on her own.
>> No.
>> What they say about that? Anything?
>> No, we're giving her life or uh we're giving her the I'm giving her the mirror.
>> Okay.
>> Already.
>> Oh, babies. Are you hungry?
>> So, no. literally doing everything right.
>> I see you guys.
>> No, it's probably her, too. She wants out there. She's actually She seems like she is hungry, >> but she's Where's her food? Her plate of food.
Is it Would you mind getting her present food?
Let's just get everybody's going all at the same time.
>> What' you do? Just put a little wet on it. That way it smells good.
>> Okay. Well, there she is down there.
Let's see if she will eat any of that.
>> Can we put her up here?
That way she's a little more comfy.
>> Is it? Is she going to get >> Teddy? Come on, buddy.
Go to your forever Teddy. Nice sweet girl. I know.
Come on. Back off, Teddy.
There you go.
>> Oh, she sure looks lively today.
>> She is. She's doing a lot better, but she's still not eating.
>> Yeah, the vet was impressed.
>> The vet tech I'd have to look. The vet tech wants to volunteer here. She wants to learn how to tube feed.
>> Come on over right now.
>> Yeah. Two feeding a kitten with teeth is not the one to start with.
>> No, it's not. But Hi, sweet, sweet Winnie.
Sweet, sweet Winnie.
So what did they say about the other med that was supposed to be that was given to her first stop?
>> Which is what?
>> The first pet visit that she had.
>> What?
>> The first vet visit she had. They gave her meds. Was that the right ones?
>> She didn't have a vet visit as far as I know. The lady just had >> What do you mean? Somebody came out to the house. His mobile vet.
>> That was through the other that that was through the gal that had her.
>> Yeah. I was wondering was that >> Oh, I didn't even ask her about the isiththroyasin or anything. I've totally spaced on that.
I want to point that down towards her.
Come on, baby.
eat.
>> Are you going to wait till mom gets all mixed up and then you'll eat?
>> Probably. But that's fine.
>> Oh, there it is. No, I'm just trying to find this. Watch if you want.
>> I Okay. No, right here. You right there.
Camera's right here. Stay right there, please.
I'm just trying to work this stuff up and get it heated.
Okay. I'm just going to hold you.
>> Okay.
>> Just going to hold you. You guys can look at the paper.
>> You could look at the paper and his legs or his junk.
>> I'm a dog.
I'm a dog.
I didn't know you could do shadow puppets without shadows. Sorry, >> it's a Winnie.
She can't wait to get started.
>> It's heating up now.
>> It's heating up now.
I'm sorry. Thank you.
>> I don't think like my performance this morning.
Oh, your performance review sucks.
Hey, you want to go back in your channel? I have it was batching. I know you could yell at me all you want.
You have a lot more energy today, that's for sure. Oh, bless you.
You're fiery.
Gosh damn.
I got take up.
See, why can't I just let No, that wouldn't be good.
Calm down.
Tim is one of the most impatient people on earth. Just standing there kills my back.
Let's watch her make up some stuff.
translates into let's watch SH work while he goes on the phone.
Okay, I'm going to wait. I'm going to get a 20 20 Okay, there's that.
She will get 30 ms. Right now I've got oh Minnie's mix food as well as the food for the screamers all heating up as soon as we're done with Winnie. We're going to wash our hands and then go to the hell did he do with it?
We're going to switch over to the screamers as soon as we're done with Winnie.
It's already 11:30.
Okay, so little Miss Winnie. Little Miss Winnie.
So, if you've never seen tube feeding before, it might look like, "Oh my god, they're hurting them." We're not. Uh, she might not like it, but she needs to get the nutrients.
Um, there's that.
Oh my.
Really?
You don't need to curse at me every time you come out of the the room.
Really is. Okay, there we go.
Holy crap.
Okay. Hello everybody. Hi So, Winnie definitely has an upper respiratory infection. Uh, could the vet determine if she had feline chlamydia or feline herpes? Nope. But she has one of the two. She thought it was strange that only one eye was affect infected, but um that's just what it is.
The other eye is fine. Not sure why.
So I have some founder that's supposed to help her eye reduce in um in the swelling. The orb she says appears to be fine. So she probably will not lose it.
And whenever Tim gets done restoring his personal comfort, otherwise I'm going to grab Ken.
You ready, Tim?
Now, the irritation on all of this is the fact that these 30 ms are huge and trying to press it down is really not fun.
They said that she's too little to start on Doxy. I was like, "Okay, that's new." But okay.
Let's see here. While we're waiting on Tim, that sounded great.
I'm priming it.
Yay. Here we go, baby.
So, and this is the actual medication.
I'm going to put that in the tube.
And that way I don't have to deal with that. I'm just going to go straight into feeding. Okay.
>> Just precious.
I use a 1 mil syringe sleeve. that she can chomp down on instead of severing the it protects the cord.
Cash attempt.
It tastes better than your toe.
Mhm.
>> No, it's over.
But she is getting better.
>> She is She's definitely getting better.
She's becoming spriteful >> and her and her breathing sound, you know, it's still >> Okay, come here.
>> You need it done.
>> There you got it.
>> Okay, let's get this done and then I can give her her pills.
There you go.
This is a selfadhesive blanket. It's quite ingenious.
Got to be careful with it cuz guess what? It will you if you put it on too tight. Yeah.
>> You know baby. Okay. I know baby.
Everybody knows baby.
Please just >> cooperate.
>> Cooperate.
>> Okay. I need her.
>> Well, do you want it like this?
>> I don't know.
>> There you go.
>> How it's always gotten.
Sorry, I keep doing that.
Don't bite me.
Why are you wanting to bite me?
>> Seriously, you scuffer.
>> No, cuz then she can't breathe. Here we go.
>> Got it.
>> Are you sure?
>> I've always got it.
>> Mhm. Wow.
>> Yep. She's feeling better.
Keep going.
She's doing good. Cheers.
That's a good way to do it.
Good job.
No.
I would do it, but I have so much I have to hold her head cuz it's like >> She's going crazy.
>> She is. I'm trying to get this.
>> Bam. Done. Good job, Sh.
>> Okay.
>> Oh, that hurts.
Be careful. She will bite you. She's feeling spicy.
>> Okay. She's not a spicy girl. She's just feeling irritated. Okay. I need to give her this.
>> Okay. Okay. It's okay.
>> She's not going to like this either.
>> She's got a full belly, so she's happy.
>> Is she happy? She's happy.
>> Okay. And that probably doesn't fit as much. Doesn't feel good on a sore throat.
There's that one. I >> think she got that one down.
>> Yeah, she did.
>> Okay, there's that >> little water maybe.
>> Oo, good deal. That's for her eyes.
>> Just eye. I >> just the one eye.
She's actually purring, so she's probably feeling a little bit better.
>> Oh, she got a full belly now.
Get the >> Okay.
Okay, baby.
>> Now she can go back to her bed.
Give her the brush.
>> Yeah.
These are every two Not twice a day.
Both of these are once every or twice once every 12 hours.
>> A little weeny.
>> Okay, that was fun.
Okay, good girl. I'll put you back in your home.
>> All right.
>> So, that was tube feeding. Wasn't that fun?
Don't try it at home. Please only use actual entral nutrition tubes to tube feed.
Um, if you don't, then it could do a lot of damage. It could do a lot of damage.
And you think, "Oh, it won't." No. Yeah, it will. These are rounded. It's closed off on the tip and it's rounded so it'll goes down smoothly. But the holes, there's just two. One on either side.
One's near the tip, the other one's down at this. And that way you know that the medic the medication, the fluid, whatever the food is getting into the stomach, which is why I also have this mark that I was going down to. The whole way of figuring this out, the whole way of learning how to tube feed. Um, I've explained while doing the process on other videos. Um, now tube feeding on kittens with teeth or anything with teeth is a whole other ball game.
Whole other ball game. You don't want to do that until you've gotten tube feeding itself down pat.
Okay, now then I got to wash my hands and off to Don't know why.
Okay, I guess these are garbage.
Now the screamers.
Right.
Okay.
Wait for my hand to get dry.
I wear a glove on my left hand because they tend to scratch my left hand up.
My hands are dry enough as it is. How old is my 7 weeks?
These are the ones where I have to remember don't throw the thing the the not some of these once I use them they will go in the garbage. One or two of them are going to go into their litter pan and that way they get the scent that hey that's where they're supposed to be going once they start walking.
Screamers says it right there.
Okay.
And once I'm done with the screamers, Oh, nope. It's not for another hour before I have to feed the farm kittens.
All right, guys.
>> Wow.
>> Wow. Tim, >> what?
>> Oh, first of all, if you're >> clean the whole cake, >> please don't say.
What do you know then?
>> Look at it.
>> Okay. Can you listen to what I was going to say?
I started the litter box over there. You don't move it. Don't make it mobile. If it starts in one place, >> it was literally right on the opposite side. So, you see all the litter and poop and >> get what done? What are you doing?
>> What?
What?
>> Bubbler.
>> The water fountain.
>> Can you give me what you're doing?
Oh, >> it's for her nebulizer. Gotcha. Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
Oh my gosh. Really?
You think that we're going to forget about you?
Come on.
There we go.
Okay, hold on. I know you are hungry.
When are you guys not hungry?
Okay.
Holy cow.
Okay, hold it. Hold it. Hold it. Hold it.
My my my little girl doesn't eat usually as much.
Wow.
But we'll see.
Now, the food that we are using here, it's the same pet lac as everybody else, but we've mixed in there some mother baby cat wet food. So, they are in the transition because they were eating so much and they still are, which is why you're going to notice the other two are freakishly huge.
But because of that, I've got to put a little bit of pressure on the stopper.
And I have to watch her rhythm in order to make sure that I'm not pushing too much. I just need to make sure it doesn't clog clog up the nipple.
She's like, "No, no, no. I want more."
There was nothing else left. But >> no, this is impossible.
>> What is >> changing it?
>> Oh, they they're hungry. So, just wait for me to finish feeding them. Um, they're She's covered in poo again.
>> So, basically, I have to wash >> wash them.
>> Feed wash.
>> I would feed them first.
>> Really? That's a great idea.
>> And then bathe them.
>> Gosh, I wish I would have thought about that.
>> That's why I'm here.
>> That is why you are here.
>> She has got poop caked on her tail again. And every time >> her belly, >> every time I'm feeding them, I'm cleaning them up.
At least it's not like it was.
Come on.
Jeez. Really?
Okay, let's try you on your back again because for some reason Yep.
>> That is a problem.
Yeah, every time they get fed, they should be able to pee. The only reason why I didn't do it with Winnie, Winnie is 7 weeks. Winnie should be doing this all on her own.
Hello, Melissa Unsweet. I had to figure out who in the world is synthetic hatred. It It flips me around a bit.
You are just not really going. Okay. I have a feeling she went in there.
Oh, she's purring.
Oops. Sorry.
Do you want any more?
Okay, that was it. That was it. That was all.
Very little pee, absolutely no poop this time. Uh, I'm going to put her back into her kennel because she needs a bath and I'm guaranteeing the other ones do, too.
Isn't she pretty?
>> She's got poop everywhere.
>> Gorgeous.
>> Okay.
Oh my god.
>> There we go.
One of the big ones.
Oh shoot. See, I did it again. I forgot to weigh them. Dang it.
Okay, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I know.
Hold on.
442.
442.
>> Not the next victim.
>> This is the next victim.
>> Never mind.
>> I didn't weigh the calico that I just finished.
>> Oh, shoot.
>> Forgot about that.
Yeah, chill. I'm getting there.
>> Oh my. She's like, I know what this is.
This is dinner time, lunchtime, breakfast, whatever.
>> Something.
It's cow time.
Okay.
Oh no.
Come on.
Okay. Come on. Hold the bottle.
No. No. No. Come on.
Oh my.
Okay.
There we go. There we go.
Holy cow.
And you see how little she's dropping.
Yeah.
I almost don't even have to touch the stopper. She's got such hard suction going on. The latch is real.
It's going to get thicker and thicker as it gets to the bottom.
>> Yeah. But that won't slow her down. No, she's like, I I'm still I'm still hungry. God, really?
Hold on.
It didn't even come out of her mouth.
Um, okay. I need to put more in. I got it. I got >> How much was it?
>> How much was What >> did she eat?
>> Just 20. Five.
>> This is a 30. No.
>> So, it's about 32 there. And on that one, it was uh about 10.
>> Oh, okay.
Now, I'm not forcing her to eat. I'm just going, "Okay, here. You want to hold up. I'm trying to I swear she's like, I don't know when my next meal is going to get here, so I'm just going to pack in as much as I can."
That's exactly her thinking.
>> Oh, there we go.
>> Wow. That's it.
>> Highly impressed.
>> Technically seven cuz I always go above.
>> Wow.
>> Okay. So, would you mind putting some more in there and in that one because we still have brother to go.
It's in the refrigerator.
>> D is confused. You put it back in here.
four weeks old.
>> Chong chong chong chong. Anyways, chef is doing great.
>> Chef is out there sweeping her little butt off.
>> Yeah, chef is doing fantastic. Chef is eating.
>> You opened this yesterday, didn't you?
>> Yeah.
>> Holy.
>> Yeah. I didn't even >> Something that used to last a couple weeks.
>> It No, they it's never even with chef only. It never lasted two weeks, but now we've got five, six kittens.
using it. So now it's just it's going to go.
All right, here we go.
Turning her over. Beep beep beep beep beep.
>> Wow, you're just having all kinds of fun with this.
>> Found the full button. No kidding.
>> There's no such thing with her. I guarantee you she would eat more after this.
Roly poly.
My gosh.
Oh, the poo poo. Poor.
Come on.
See, they for some reason respond better uh they respond better technically for whatever reason to being probably because they've just they're used to being cleaned up by mama like this saying mama no.
But they like it up better on their back. Tim, can you check quickly?
>> Oh my goodness.
>> No, no, no. Check to make sure he's not nursing.
>> He's not.
He's over there.
>> Okay, that's what I want to make sure of.
>> He's not happy.
>> No, I'll get to him. Kittens will nurse on each other if they're hungry because that's what that they can't see very well. They don't know any better.
They're just trying to figure out where to get food. That's it. Don't sit there and humanize it. They go, "Well, that's really disturbing." has nothing to do with it being sexual. Has everything to do with survival. Unfortunately, it could end up hurting if not killing one or both of the kittens involved or all of them involved depending.
>> And that's, you know, they'll sleep with their sisters, too. They don't care.
>> Yeah. Okay.
I'm talking about neonates.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Neonates.
I'm not going into anything else.
Neonates.
Wow.
>> A little too much.
>> Little bit.
>> Sorry.
>> And that's only if you don't get them fixed. Please get them fixed.
This one will go into their litter box.
Please.
What?
That. Okay.
Just >> I don't. Never mind. I got it because I've got to get him.
>> Is that a Red Bull, sir?
>> No, that's a coconut lacroy.
>> Coconut Lroy.
>> Tastes like coconut.
>> He's fluffy. He's adorable.
>> And they don't stop eating.
>> Loud.
Don't stop eating.
>> Hold on.
Jeez.
>> I know, right? What's he up to?
>> 362.
>> Oh, I'm surprised he hasn't for >> 362. It is not bad.
>> Bad boy.
>> 362 because yesterday he was 328. If he had hit 400, that's scary. as it is. He gained 40 freaking almost almost a total 40 gram. So actually um 34 grams in one day.
The girl that we just put back was 20.
Um no, not even 20.
I usually see 20.
Yeah, >> he's going all right.
>> What does this have to do with me?
>> Fin. It's going to be It's a long road.
>> Oh, he's got massive poo built up on him, too. Just from the last few hours.
>> Yeah, I know. Cuz when we checked them, they weren't like that.
>> No, I know you're hungry. Are there Is it warmed up?
It's warm enough. Yes.
Cuz they don't need.
>> Okay.
>> Wow. Really? Wow.
>> Telling you, he's a go-getter.
He's going to book it wherever.
Oh my gosh.
Look at that. Look at the paws.
>> Sparkle baby.
>> Little sparkle baby.
>> Now, technically, I'm not pushing this.
I'm just making sure it does not, you know, get stuck because of the food that's in there.
>> These little guys could start a Harley.
>> Oh, stop.
>> Well, except for the one, the white one.
She She's very >> normal kitty. Yeah, these guys are not normal.
>> Very adorable. Very loud.
Good job, buddy.
>> Okay, let's see.
>> Crazy.
>> Well, that's what I'm supposed to do.
>> Okay, I'll see y'all later.
>> See you later, buddy. Thanks, Dave.
>> Thanks, Ken.
>> You're allelcome.
>> Hey, did you possibly bring the face masks?
>> Damn it, I forgot.
>> You know what? When I get home, I'm going to put them in the truck. That way, there's no way I can forget.
>> I I'm sorry.
>> Go on. What? 35 now. 40.
>> God, I don't understand where they're putting it.
>> No, it's 35 now. It's 40. Just Yep.
>> See you later, buddy. Yeah, exactly.
>> 45.
>> Now he'll be wanting to be actually burped and pottied. He'll he'll put up with it now.
>> I know.
>> It's just funny.
>> Dear, >> you're so adorable.
And then we get to >> There's no wild cats in there. I can >> then we get to actually get him to uh >> Okay. Um give him a bath. Get all this poop off of him that's all dried up.
Where is he putting it all? Hollow legs.
Just hollow legs.
>> And there's one burp. Not even gotten to the burps yet.
>> Okay, babies.
>> Oh my my my my.
>> Oh, and I also need to give him a little bit of the Clavamox because he's now on that.
Yeah.
Yes, you are.
>> Good golly. Okay, I'm not going to try doing anything. No, that hurt. Okay, not going to try doing anything on the poop.
That needs to come off using warm water.
Um, Clavamox.
>> What? I need to change out some of the diapers.
Yes.
Jeez, you're a tank.
>> Oh my god. It's so >> What? What?
>> The poop. Is the poop real?
>> I went to pick it up and it stuck to me.
>> Oh, he's not going to like this.
Nah.
>> No. No. No.
>> Hey.
Come on, dude. Really?
>> Diapers this week.
>> Um, the same place that they've been.
>> Oh, >> right over there.
There we go.
Okay.
Ghost.
Ghost needs his >> I don't give a [ __ ] about him right now.
Get all this stuff out.
Okay. So, I'm going to put him down here for now. Let me get everything. Make sure it's all out of the uh >> They're doing really good sitting there.
>> Okay. Going to start bathing them.
>> Get me slippers back on.
>> I'm sorry.
>> Okay.
>> Holy cow.
So, what you'll also see is once we're done, they will get put into a pet hair dryer.
It is perfectly safe. It's warm. It gets them dry.
Okay.
Now then after uh after reheating these twice, anything left over, which is rare, >> I will uh throw it out. But because that was fresh, I'm not going to worry about that.
The syringes will start to get sticky. When that happens, we throw them away. We don't worry about it. We just toss them.
>> Huh? There's nothing you can do.
>> Well, you can. It's just that what's the point? It's cheap. Syringes are actually very inexpensive.
>> Okay. This is dirty. These are dirty.
Pretty soon we're going to be picking up all of the dishes and letting snow all out.
>> Oh, we have more to do.
>> Oh, no. I'm just Don't go crazy. I'm just talking about cuz it's already after 12.
>> The only reason why we're still on now is for washing babies.
Why is this sitting here?
Okay.
Okay, towels.
These beds go into the dungeon. They sw it should be swapped out with the other ones.
Okay.
Where's my There it is.
There we go.
Towels.
Okay.
Babies that get if they are neonates.
There we go. Cool. Okay. If they are neonates, if they are six weeks or under under six weeks then Oh, thank you Mary Mary. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. Everybody like the wonderful clapping seal. Sorry, I didn't see that. Um, the Whoops.
Okay.
We used this yesterday for the same babies. Uh, Blue Dawn dish soap. That's what is in here. Why? Because it's just easier.
Um, they are just going to get a butt bath. They don't have to have the full suds happening, which is good. I don't want bubbles around their face anyhow.
So, if I can avoid it, I will. Um, the way that I avoid it completely is I use little bottles like this and I fill it with soapy water.
One's with soapy water, the other one is with the clean water. this. I will take out as many bubbles as I can because if you didn't know, bubbles can actually suffocate.
>> No, it's not going to happen.
>> Want to grab a baby? I got all over my hand. Thank you, Mary.
Okay, this is not working well.
Oh boy.
>> I don't even know what that is.
>> It said opened.
Hold on. Okay. Okay.
>> Yeah, I'm getting it.
>> Poop everywhere. Poop a palooa.
What?
Oh, that's going byebye. Oh, sorry.
Didn't mean to freak you out. Oh my god.
Where's the babies?
>> Oh, you got tucked all the way in there.
See, that's why I don't like using this.
>> Uhhuh. Where's another one at? Oh, let me go out here and look.
>> There you go.
There's also another bed right on the side of that.
It's >> baby number one.
>> Ah, you know what I need? My scrubber.
My scrubber glove.
>> Always feels good to have a a bit of a I don't like doing this, but I'm going to put her there for just a second.
There we go. Okay. I don't like putting them into a sink like that. It's kind of an exposed feeling.
Whoa. Wrong direction.
Warm, not hot.
Mhm.
All this caked on too.
Needs to go. Bye-bye.
It does not feel good to have caked on too.
>> If you're looking at it, it should be on the left side.
I know.
Trying to get this out of your fur.
Yep.
Oh no, it's on your arm, too.
It's on your head. What the [ __ ] dude?
How did you get all this everywhere?
>> Okay, while I'm doing this and running the live stream. Jeez.
Pick up the food.
There we go.
Trying to avoid getting her face in there. There we go. Got that part done.
She just got covered everywhere in little bits here, little bits there. You are just a little bit. You are You are a little little bit.
We do not want that kind of a little bit though. We want a cute little little bit.
Holy cow. Okay, now we can actually suds her up a little bit.
Okay.
Yeah, this exfoliating glove makes washing kittens so much nicer, so much easier.
But you've got to be careful because of their gentle little skin, >> especially if they have >> sore skin from being having accidents.
I know.
And just cuz they can thermmorreulate does not mean that they would like being cold. It's not like they can combat that just like you and I can.
There.
We do not want you getting a urinary tract infection.
There we go.
There we go.
Oh, I know.
Fluffy towel, fluffy girl.
Here we go.
Okay, everybody like this clapping seal, please. We are big on the gifts because that helps us run this rescue. So, please, please, please support that.
It's people's hard-earned money and I appreciate that. It is amazing.
Is it Mary Varel?
I'm hoping I'm saying that right.
So, these these little babies do not yet have names. We'll be getting to that eventually. Right now, we're just trying to keep everybody happy, healthy, fed, and uh especially keeping Winnie alive.
Winnie has a name because she came here with a name.
So I know I know.
>> Okay. And Tim, turn this off.
>> Somebody wants out of the nursery again.
Okay. So again, this is she's going to go into a pet hair dryer. It is perfectly safe.
It is deliciously warm and it gets them nice and dry, more so than any towel can. They cannot lick themselves dry, nor do I even let big cats who can deal with it that way because they sit there and shiver until they are dry. We don't do that. Thank you, Kelly, for the happy poop. Um, yeah, nice and clean.
Not having poop all hurting them because really it can't. It gets dried and it can pull, which is why she doesn't have any fur right now on the base of her tail.
There we go.
Turn that down just a wee little bit.
There we go. What is the perfect temperature for her? I am going to go grab baby number two.
Oh boy.
Okay.
Number two.
Baby number two isn't nearly as bad. I'm just going to give her a bit of a butt wash. Oh, she does have it on her back.
Never mind.
How in the world?
You guys just like crawl go pooping and crawl over each other. That's a good beast.
Got those triangle tails.
The triangle tails of a neonate kitten.
Oh my.
Now brother is the worst.
Brother got it the worst. He has it really caked up on him. He'll be next.
Oh jeez. How did I miss that?
There we go. Here we go.
All better. It went from just a butt bath to a full bath. Wow.
What?
>> Whining and crying out.
Kath Kathy standing there with all her springs in her mouth.
>> What?
>> Here.
She's just saying, "Hey, look at me. I got my toy."
>> She's not too much catnip.
>> Catnip. Kathy.
Okay, we are still 5,000 away from hitting our goal for the patio rebuild. Hopefully, we can do that.
It'll be nice to build a boulevard.
Oops.
Okay.
>> Yeah, I know.
>> Hey, Tim.
>> Well, you could dry her off and put her in the dryer.
>> That thing dries amazing.
Thank you.
>> I mean, oh, this is chocolate dunk. It's >> a chunka dunk.
Chunka dunk. How much is left for the patio? Uh, just a hair over 5,000 out of 13.
So, not bad. Freaking phenomenal.
>> You want the other one?
>> Yeah.
>> I'm going to call you puff.
Puff's baby cheesy puffed.
Just a beautiful. You are adorable.
>> I know.
>> But this that's that's the bad.
>> Oh, he doesn't appear to have it anywhere else.
Oh god, >> they love that.
Hold on. Okay, you're so big.
Okay, hold on.
All over your feet.
your chunky monkey to eat and they're stale.
Yesterday they had to have two baths.
Jeez.
I know, buddy. I know. I know.
Get off. I know.
I'm working on this. Come on.
God darn it. It just flips really quick.
There we go. finally let go of it. Okay, hold on.
You're adorable.
You're adorable.
I know.
And if they go poop, guess what? Just consider it like a bedet.
It's all good. Comes out one way or the other, right?
Here you go.
Yep. Yep. Yep.
Got to make sure he's nice and clean.
Got rid of all of that.
Okay.
The one glove is just to protect my uh my hand from getting scratched up.
So it's the glove just protects like an extra scare scare layer of skin a scare of Lyn what Oh my gosh.
There we go.
Oh, okay, baby. I'm sorry. Here we go.
Here we go.
There we go. Okay, now they are in a pet hair dryer and they will stay in there until they're nice and dry. The first one right here, she's almost completely dry.
She's also also she was just about ready to fall asleep. So, you can tell how comfortable and comforting it is when babies fall asleep in there.
Nope. No. No. Not you. Not yet. No. No.
No. Okay, there we go. Oh, so much better.
You smell better. You look better. You probably feel better. And there she is.
She's a beautiful girl. Okay, it's now time for this baby. Sure.
And by the time these guys are done, guess what time it will be?
Time to feed the uh first babies. Jeez.
Huh?
These ones.
>> Oh, no. They're easy to feed.
All of them are easy to feed. They're just, you know, the other ones are eat.
Okay.
Oh, thank you, Genie.
All right, second little girl is just about dry.
They dry really fast if you can't tell.
She's like, "Okay, all right." My [ __ ] came in went out that direction. I'm going to go see. Okay, brother is the long hair. He's going to have a harder time a bit just because he's long hair. It also depends on how how thick of a coat they have. This girl's got a thick coat, but it went through it really well. Love it.
And here she goes. She's like, "Nap time. Nap time.
I'm a rescuer. Yeah, I am a medical rescue for kittens.
Oh, it's okay.
Woo! All right, last one is the boy. Is the loose stools decreasing? Yes.
Thankfully, yes. Oh boy, that was fun.
Um, what did the Oh.
Oh my goodness.
So, I'm prepping for the farm kittens.
They came in over the weekend as well, and they That's the screamers. This supposed to be the farm.
Um, they are only a week old.
They're super easy to feed right now, and hopefully they'll stay that way.
Um, and so once this guy is done, which should be pretty soon, then I'll place him over there with Tim and I will be feeding the beans.
Just what?
>> Did they?
>> Okay. So, they are starting to go more than the 10. So, I'm just going to start jumping them up one.
I'm not going to go full 20. I'll probably fill it to 15, maybe. I don't know.
I'm going to need another This needs this this cord needs to be done.
You have a question, feel free. Go ahead.
As long as it is a kitten related question. Absolutely.
And Tim, I've got to say, so what do I do when my cat's eyes doesn't want to open? Are you talking about a cat or a kitten?
There's a huge difference.
If it is a kitten, it could take anywhere from 8 to 10 days up to two 21 days. So up to 3 weeks to open. If it's a cat, you need to take it to a vet.
Uh it could be that it they've got the beginning of an upper respiratory infection.
It's a cat. Okay. Yeah, it could be the beginning of an upper respiratory. Is it like So it looks glued, right? Um yeah, that's usually the beginning of an upper respiratory infection. Um, you could always you could always get them some what's called Lysine.
Uh, you could get it through Amazon.
Okay, let me try. I'm going to try brushing you a little bit.
Um, but it might be that they need eye drops.
It could be that they need eye drops. It could an eye drops or eye appointment is all done through your vet now if you're in the United States. Um it could be that they need that they need antibiotics, oral antibiotics.
Um but the way you would open it up, don't use paper towel or to toilet paper. Those are abrasive. Um, you could use the cotton squares, cotton balls, or cotton circles under, you know, put it under what? Put it under warm water.
Lay it on the kitty's eye for just, it just takes a few seconds. Not like five or 10 seconds. No, no, but it only takes like maybe 30 seconds. And it'll help open it up. You don't want it staying closed though, but you don't want to pry it open. Um, by doing it the way I'm telling you, their eye can get oxygen. It needs oxygen to prevent it from getting totally infected. But usually that's an indicator that there's something going on in their lungs, too. Not just the eyes. The eye is the first place anybody sees. And then you start realizing that, oh, oh, they they sound kind of rattly when they're breathing. Oh, they're they're doing this forced thing when they swallow. Oh, you know, that's when they need either uh clavomox or do um doxycyc.
Not the humankind. Not the humankind.
Um, the um I don't know what the um was for, but that was funny. Hi.
Hi.
Are you okay? Do you want a nappy nap now?
Yeah.
It's okay. Now you're all clean, little boy. You're all clean.
There you go. There he is. All clean.
All good. Feeling good. Feeling ready for a nappy nap.
Okay, let's go put you down with your babies, your little sisters.
>> Hey, baby. I'll hold you.
>> No.
You could.
>> Okay, I need to wash my hands and then we will I got sidetracked.
>> Okay, washing my hands.
Yeah, he's purring.
He gets to be a purr monster. I love the purr monsters.
Okay, let me finish setting this up. if I need to get get another glove on because these babies will tear up my hand. Also, they've got little claws of needles and it's just they just shred.
They don't mean to.
They're not like humans and intend to do damage unless you're coming at them or they think you're coming at them. That's different.
Those are ferals though. That's not Those aren't babies.
I was ahead of myself.
Okay.
I always open shut this just to make sure there's a good seal.
This, I will tell you, I learned something new on those. I love that product, but boy did I learn something new.
So, I learned when you get it, don't store it like this cuz all the good stuff sits at the bottom and when you shake it, you're not going to shake it enough to get it gone.
So, what I do now is I store it like this, whether it's stored in the refrigerator or in the pantry. It's stored upside down. Got to make sure that that lid is untight. But you shake it every time you go to use it.
All righty.
Oh, wow. Okay.
All right.
Now then when I was I'm just when if I can't even speak if I'm using it for just one I will put on here when I opened it because you need to discard it after two weeks. Um however I'm using this for six different kittens.
It doesn't last but a couple of days.
Number one, this is now up to about I don't know 23ish mills, but some of it's going to be for testing the temperature. You don't want it hot.
If you do it hot, you're going to scald the baby and they will not want to eat because just like if you were to put something in your mouth that's really hot and it scalds you, if it burns your mouth and all the way down the throat, it's hard for you to eat, right? Why would you think an animal would be any different?
Okay, I guarantee they will not go through both of those.
Not yet. They will within probably the week they will be eating a full syringe of 20 hair.
Okay.
Whoa.
Oh my gosh.
Okay.
Now then I also need to last bed. That was it.
Hold on, guys.
That was at noon.
Okay. And this one.
>> Wow. It's going to sync up fairly well with the next one.
400 p.m. is going to be the next feeding session for basically everybody.
Starting with the farm crew and then moving on to the screamers then Winnie or Winnie then the screamers. I'll have to look. I think it's actually the other way around.
What is going on?
Well, why?
Yeah, you could yell at him, not me. He told me you were playing with toys.
>> He had a mouthful.
>> She was not liking that.
>> Okay. Excuse me.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
These are the farm babies.
Hello. life with Misty.
Her eyes are completely open. I'm going to have to take a look at her brother's eyes. I'm assuming it's still a boy. I don't know yet. I haven't paid that close of attention. I just try to keep them fed and safe.
Here we go. Now, this is a bigger syringe than they've been using.
So, yep. Okay. Ready?
>> Hold on. Always keep the back feet on the floor or counter, whatever.
No, no, no. It's the same nipples before. It's just going to be a little bit harder.
Might have to go back to a 10.
That was not even in the sink.
Every time you bump them up uh the size of syringe, they then need to realize that, oh, I've got to nurse more. Okay, that's not well enough for that.
Okay, I was trying.
I know. Hold on. Calming down.
Okay, catnet. Not a good place for you to go.
Never leave a baby unattended because otherwise they will drop. They don't understand gravity. They don't understand how in the world that this thing works that oh, you can't walk to the edge and still stay up.
I know, baby.
Hold on.
I don't even know if that's warm enough yet. It might be. Doesn't take long for this stuff to warm up. That is for sure.
Takes longer than that, though. Okay.
Well, you kind of made me have to put a pause on it, honey.
Hold on.
So, you sent the phone cruise. She's very loud.
Oh, they're eating. Yeah, they're eating well. That's not a problem at all. No, they've been a great group. They're just young, so they eat every 3 to 4 hours now. Um, the other ones eat every 5 to 6 hours.
Well, four to five hours, actually. So, around 5 hours is where I'm kind of going with it now. And then Winnie, because she's sick, I'm doing about the same as the screamers. So, usually when they get it, so does she. But hopefully she'll not need to be tubefed pretty soon.
Hopefully.
>> Oh my gosh. Girl, stop. Stop. Is that squealer?
Yep.
>> Okay. Come on.
>> Okay. Let's see if being back to the 10 makes a big difference. Uhuh. Come on. I know I've upset you.
There we go. Tap tap tap.
I need to clean your eye.
What do you need to go potty first? Is that I also want to clean her eye.
Her eye looks goopy.
Okay, there's one thing that I could do.
Another thing is what? Pottying her. She might need to just go potty. What's the story with them? They were found in a hay stack with three other kittens. It was two different litters.
Um and they Jeez, Tim and uh the other ones were a little bit older and they they were able to start nursing on mom fine. Um these ones were refused to nurse on this surrogate mama. Um, now because of that, the people that found them had told the friend who contacted me saying that uh if you can't take them, then we're going to put them out of misery. I don't know what that means, but I can just assume. So, her friend was like, "Uh, wow."
I told her to give them my information so I can have the cats that are on their property get them spayed or neutered so that way they don't have to deal with the kittens that they would have to put out of their own.
So that have never sit well with me.
These guys didn't ask to be brought into this world. They certainly didn't ask to be heard or abused. So, um, and if you didn't realize it, kittens, dogs, all that, puppies, they they've got feelings, too. They have emotions. They also can feel pain and hunger.
So, it's amazing.
But that's basically they came from a farm.
And a good good Samaritan brought him over.
Okay. You're not wanting to really nurse right now, are you? Maybe it's too soon.
I thought you were hungry, but I'm not sure.
Yeah. Do you just want to go in into your area and rest? And I'll try in an hour.
No.
If you hear snoring, yeah, that's Tim.
Okay, I'm going to put this back for now and let's see what happens. I'll try again in a second.
Okay, I'm going to kind of reverse order this.
He's instantly purring.
Yeah, there we go. Always flip over, but you always want me to start you on your back.
Are you pooping or did you just fart?
Holy crap, that was a stinky, stinky, stinky thing.
Was that one of you two?
So, my name is Char. I'm the owner of Critical Care Kitten Coalition, by the way. Um, I am a medical rescue here in Lacy, Washington. I am a 501c3 and we deal with primarily neonate kittens. That's the where I am a subject matter expert. I am not great with cats because cats bodies are like these hands. I'm not a vet or a vette. Like I said, I'm a subject matter expert in neonates. It's different.
Now then he's going. Okay, I want some food. And I'm just going to do this. I'm going to wipe this on his eyes real quick. And guess what? We'll leave it. Let's see.
Let's see if he can nurse a 20.
Hold on.
Okay, that is too hot. Hold on. Hold on.
Hold on.
That's why I keep a glass right here.
Just by doing that usually is enough to cool it down, but always test it.
Yep. Perfect.
Thank you.
Okay. Squiggly biggly.
Let's see if he can nurse on a 20.
This is straight kitten milk replacement. This is Oh, thank you.
I think that's Sarah. Um, it's larger, so it could be harder for them to nurse on.
So, you got to kind of gauge that. And I think that this was just a little bit too soon for them. Um, there we go. Okay.
Yep.
Ah, >> shoot.
It's slipping out of my hand. Okay, there we go.
>> Tim, >> put the kitten back, please.
>> See, I think I thoroughly pissed off both of them is what it is.
See, it was Sarah. Thank you, Sarah.
Guys, like the gift. Please like the gift.
I love it when people actually support what we're doing.
So, I guess I can't load up the 20s yet.
Even though they eat just about 20, they're not wanting to eat it out of the 20 mil, which is understandable. They're just itty bitties.
I just thought I'd try it.
Yeah. Come on. Right here.
Right here.
I might have to turn around and try try [ __ ] again in a second.
Okay. Yep. Okay. So, one thing I did, I wiped the eyes. Now I'm going to just going to wipe the wipe the little Mc Milk stash off. Okay.
Because Sissy's eyes are open.
I'm just seeing very gently. Are your eyes ready to be open? And they were just goopy.
I'm going to get another cotton circle.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay. Okay, I'm going to take a better look.
Yeah, his eyes are actually starting to open.
So, I'm not going to mess with them anymore, but I've freed it from any goop that's on there that would be preventing them from opening. Now, they can get a little bit of oxygen in there all on their own just from using a cotton cotton circle and, you know, these are makeup whatever things. And um and warm water. That's it. That's all we need.
Okay, I'm going to put you back. I'm going to try your [ __ ] again because maybe she's calmed down.
Oh boy.
Trying it again.
Okay, let's see.
Yep.
Now, if not, then I'm just going to say, "All right, let's just put a pin in it until another hour has gone by.
No.
They're turning into two weeks of age.
She has a raccoon tail. Yes, she does.
So that means that they're going to eat more and be spaced out more on the feedings. And she might be just saying, "You know what? No, no, no. I'm good.
I'm good. Just just give me another hour. Give me another hour."
He said, "Okay.
She's adorable.
Are you part raccoon?
So, they're in a Bruder right now to stay warm.
>> They can't thermmorreulate until they are two weeks of age. They are not two weeks of age yet. Their ears are still opening. Their eyes are still opening and developing.
And they need their food warmed up to a warm body temperature.
They do not need it cold. They can't they can't digest it if it's cold. Okay.
Come on.
You're rooting like you're hungry, but then you act like you're not hungry when you're when you've got the food in front of you.
No.
Well, they're not being easy. Normally, they're super easy to feed, so I'm not going to push it any further.
All right. See? Bye-bye.
We're going to let you rest for an hour.
They are silly.
They are silly.
So to me, I'm going, my gosh, isn't she hungry?
So my my alarm kind of goes off, but that's just because I've upset them and I just assume that they're still very hungry. They're not. They've they've refused to eat. Now, if they refuse to eat in an hour, I Okay, if they refuse to eat again in another hour, that's when a red flag would come up that maybe they're not feeling it. Oh, thank you, Kathy.
Everybody, please like that gift.
Um, for some reason, you know, they just don't give you that many clues when they're not feeling good. Besides, I don't want to eat.
It's a great indicator though.
>> Yeah.
>> So, here are the farm kittens. Then we have the screamers who are not screaming but are sleeping.
It's hard to see.
They are just sleepy seep.
They ate well and got a bath. Very exciting time for them. And then we have down here we have Chef. Hi, Chef.
We have Frog.
Hi, Chef.
Hi.
Hi. Hold on.
And we have Oh, we have Winnie, who does not like to be outside of her litter box right now, which is a typical thing when they don't feel great. But I keep moving her outside of it because I don't want her all over. I don't want litter all over her.
Yeah.
But I'm having to tube feed her as well.
She's refusing to eat. However, it's working because she's gaining weight. Yeah, you're gaining weight. And she's purring today.
She's actually looking a lot better than she was.
Yeah, she she does. She chef loves me.
I'm the mama dear.
She just says, "Mama, I don't feel good.
I don't feel good."
And I'm trying to help her feel better.
Slowly but surely, she's getting there.
She's got extra toes. I have no idea if she's had extra toes. I have not even paid any attention to that. I don't think she does. Probably looks like it, but no, she has big paws. She probably going to be a big girl.
Yeah.
And the gal that brought her up, man, she did everything right.
She just couldn't this this advanced to the point where it was just bad. Very, very bad. Once it starts going into the point where kittens refuse to eat, it's really hard to get them back from that, especially if you don't have tube feeding experience.
Okay. And she always has kibble in here and water.
So, in case she actually gets an appetite all of a sudden, she's got kibble. Nummy, nummy, nummy, nummy kibble. Thank you, Kelly.
That was adorable. Please, everybody, like the butterfly gift.
Okay, what a good girl. So, right now we're up to 40 cats and kittens here. We're doing great.
Uh, if you didn't notice, we are we strive to be a cage-free place.
The the clean beds go over here, which get tested really quick, which is kind of funny. Um, now sterile beds go to another place altogether, but we do use cages, but just for those that are in danger to getting hurt or danger of hurting themselves.
or you know those that are in danger of you know basically hurting others like the ferals. But those ones that we have now they're not really what they the cages are used basically for socializing more than anything else. Um we only have two that are in cages upstairs. Uh mama and baby are in a cage down here uh in the ICU. No, no, no. Oh, you're going to stay right there, sweetheart.
Looks like she went potty again. Looks like she went potty again. That's great.
Yeah, I like to see that.
This one's name is Winnie. The rest of them, they don't the of the um actual neonates, none of them have names yet.
We'll be doing names later. Right now, we're just trying to save Winnie's life and to make sure everybody is happy and healthy and I'm not so overwhelmed.
Thank you, Keith. Oh my gosh, I appreciate that flower.
Yeah. So, if you're not yet following, please subscribe, become a follower, whatever it's called here. We go live every morning here on YouTube. But we go live every afternoon starting at 4:30 Pacific Standard Time or Pacific time, whatever it is now, daylight savings time. Um, yeah, that's on TikTok 4:30. That Yeah, I'll just repeat myself because I've been up all night. It's been fun. It's always fun when we have kittens. Now, I'm going to leave this just cracked because she doesn't have to stay warm.
She's not cold. She's she's she's just in here to keep herself chillaxed. I want to make sure she feels as good as possible. Plus, the fact that she gets a nebulizer treatment every now and again is just easier. So, otherwise, I would have her into a cage like that, but um that would also expose everybody else.
This kind of keeps a little bit more muted because again, she's got an upper respiratory infection. If you didn't know, upper respiratory infections are highly contagious. Um, so I will be washing my hands yet again. I always wash my hands to the point where they are totally chapped and dry. If you're feeling this good, little one, I'm going to start bringing you a few toys.
Okay.
Maybe you would feel up to see a spring or a mouse.
Right now, she's been primarily sleeping, which is what she needs besides food. So, anyways, guys, love yourself. Love each other. Be kind to yourself.
Be kind to each other. You want back in your room, go right ahead. What? I'm not going to leave it open. No, no, no.
We've got Aphrodite in there who does not do well out in the main house yet.
She's working on it. So, uh, get your animals spayed or neutered. Get them and keep them vaccinated.
If you have a hard time affording or getting a cat, um, spayed or neutered before they go into their first heat, which is, by the way, for females 4 months of age, they can get pregnant as early as four months of age. Um, please contact a rescue, a shelter, animal services, spay or ne, you know, whatever. Uh there's there's all sorts of places.
Here in Washington state, we have the Feralcat spay and neuter project. Um a lot of places will help you because they've got the resources. I'm one of them. If you're in Washington State, thank you. Oh boy.
Sweet.
Switch. Thank you so much for the gold coin. Um it is getting a little better.
We now have new medication because I got her into the vet this morning. And she's also on fam sick liver, which is a medication for basically um uh uh myopplasmosis, but it's also for um feline herpes. So, it kind of helps in different capacities. So, she's taking that now twice a day. That all started today.
She still has me tubefed, but she's doing good. She's gaining weight and she actually looks a lot better. So, anyways, I will see you guys later.
Um, yeah. And well, there's a couple of new meds. There's a new IME med. There's a fab liver. The clavamox I started her on over the weekend. Doctor said that was spot on. Giving her subcqes was spot on.
I mean everything. She was like that.
You did everything right. Perfect.
That's why she's alive. So it's all good.
A thanks Sharon. So hopefully we'll see you guys on Tik Tok later. If not, that's fine. Uh but on Tik Tok or Critical Care Well, I'm sorry, Critical Kitten Coalition.
Um because they're limited in characters over there. So we'll see you later. Have a wonderful day and we'll see you tomorrow hopefully. Bye.
