The Fairy Tail deck in Yu-Gi-Oh TCG is predicted to become a top-tier competitive deck (ranked fourth behind Cool Tune, Brandit, and Doom Z) due to its powerful engine mechanics involving Regulus, Endymion Empire, and Veera Magic cards, which enable infinite body generation and effective hand trap disruption, though it currently lacks sufficient engine power without the upcoming Endymion support cards.

Is Fairy Tail The Next Top Tier Yu-Gi-Oh Deck? A Post Battles of Legends Competitive DiscussionHinzugefügt:
Hey, what's up, guys? For today's video, I wanted to explain why I think Fairy Tail is going to be one of the next top decks in Yu-Gi-Oh.
And it's not like a clickbait title or anything like that. I actually think Fairy Tail is going to be a top deck. At the moment, I'm thinking it's going to be like the fourth best deck behind Cool Tune, Brandit, and Doom Z. Uh I do think it's better than Malice and uh Mitsurugi at the moment, though.
Or it's around that level, anyway.
So, Fairy Tail. Obviously, Fairy Tail, we just got Snow back. We just got new wave of support, but we're also about to get more support in the form of the Endymion cards. So, technically, we don't 100% know if we're getting these in Battles of Legends. Battles of Legends comes out in like 2 weeks.
However, on the set um on the like product page for Battles of Legends, it says we're getting Endymion stuff, so there aren't that many Endymion cards, and all of these cards kind of like mention each other somewhat, so they mention Regulus, anyway.
So, presumably, we're going to be getting these cards, Endymion cards, in Battles of Legends in 2 weeks, first week of June.
And I think these cards make a big boost to the deck. So, what do What do these cards do?
So, the Endymion cards are actually really nice. They're basically just extenders, but they also increase your ceiling a bit cuz you can get access to them via like Summon Sorceress.
As extenders, the Endymion cards are really good because it's like a free body, but it also adds um it like does something on summon, too.
So, if you like summon this guy cuz like how it works, right?
Well, actually, let me add so there's another Endymion card, too. Well, not really an Endymion card, but it's like a very magic, right? So, how this works how the engine works is you're going to go Let me mute that.
You're going to go adding Regulus to your hand, right? Regulus, right?
Regulus can reveal any spell caster.
Summon itself. And then, when it's special summoned, you get to add or you take damage, too. I'm not going to bother taking the damage right now. You get to add this guy, Endymion Empire, from your deck to your hand. And then, you can add Empire.
Then, Empire can add the fairy, the maid of Endymion.
Okay, and then Veera can special summon itself cuz we use the spell card. And then Veera, if it special summons, we can add a Witchcrafter spell and trap.
We can add, well, hypothetically, if we didn't already draw it, but I mean, you can add Veera magic. So, off just this one card, we got two level fours, and then we got Veera magic. And obviously two level fours is really good in Fairy Tail cuz you can make the rank four, which gets you the engine. But, Veera magic is a really, really good card because this card's actually custom, by the way.
If you don't know what Veera magic does, it says this card is always treated as a Magisters and a Witchcrafter card.
Activate one of these effects.
If you control a Witchcrafter or Magisters, send a spellcaster or one spell from your deck to the graveyard.
When your opponent activates a card or effect, special summon a Magisters Witchcrafter or monster from your hand or deck. So, you basically you can send this guy, Jimmy, and Jimmy has a graveyard effect to let you banish it and a Witchcrafter spell, so the Veera magic, to summon a Magisters or Witchcrafter from your deck.
Uh, well, if I summon Shugo, this guy, Shugo's effect is to summon a Magisters or Witchcrafter from your deck.
So, it just ends up being infinite bodies. You can summon like Serorah, and then you can get like it's it's it's a ton of advantage. And so, as an engine, this [clears throat] is really good because right now, you see people playing ratios in Fairy Tail like three Geneya, and you know, triple field spell, and like some people even play triple Match Guru. And I'm not going to cap, those ratios are all [ __ ] Let's Let's be real. Like, Geneya, this card is not a three of. As an extender, okay, this card is not a terrible card, but when you look at it from 2026 standards, what does this card do? It summons itself from the hand. Cool. What else does it do?
That's it.
That's all it does. It doesn't get do search on summon or anything like that.
So, comparing this to other extenders, just being a level four body, those type of extenders are very lacklustre. I'm not saying the card is bad, but it's It's I think it's a one of. It's not a card you want to play three of. But, people feel like they have to play multiple of this type of card because the deck doesn't have enough engine right now.
But, when we get the Endymion cards, you're going to have like all these extra engine cards in your deck. You can play high-quality cards. All of a sudden, instead of a Genia, I'm drawing a Regulus. And against a deck like Cool Tune, that's really important because it makes you play through hand traps a lot easier. For example, if I'm playing against Cool Tune, they're going to have like Imperms, Veilers, Ash, Bells, whatever.
Okay, I can go Regulus effect. Summon it from the hand. Are you going to stop Regulus? Sure, I have a level four body, you know, that I can use to make the the the the Wicked, right?
If you don't stop it and you try to hold your hand trap, great. I'm going to I'm summon Vera.
I'm going to go fill this continuous spell. Vera, add the add the quick play.
All of a sudden, I'm ending on like infinite disruption, even if you hold your hand trap. Whereas with Genia, it's like I summon Genia, sure. They don't have to hand trap that.
It just gets disrupted, you know? So, like Regulus plus like another like card, like Regulus plus Luna can like is beating multiple hand traps, you know?
Whereas like a Genia plus Luna Luna is not beating double hand trap.
So, I think that's like the engine's really, really good. It's like not to be understated how good it is. Also, going second with the Vera magic, you can do cool stuff, too.
Only your opponent activates a card or effect, you can use this guy to special summon the Vera, the Maiden of Endymion.
And then this one can then add another copy and then this one can use the effect to send Genie not Genia, but Genie to graveyard. Uh so, it just it makes your Vera magic look better, too, having access to the uh the Vera, the Maiden of Endymion.
I think this engine's really, really good. But, enough about the engine. Why do I think this deck is good? So, Fairy Tail's basically a combo deck, I would say. It's trying to put up a board auto in the game. It doesn't really play a ton of non-engine, but you can play Breakers, which is pretty cool.
At first, I thought the end board was kind of dog [ __ ] but once I saw the better lines, I was like, "Oh, actually the end board's actually pretty solid, you know?"
Uh you can do for some cool stuff, too.
Like you can technically search like draw {quote} {unquote} a pseudo search anyway, not directly, but yeah. Or you can go for Alchemic Magician. This card's really cool. It's a rank four, requires three level four spellcasters.
So, it says, "Once per turn during your end phase, you can detach one XYZ material from this card and send one card from your hand to the graveyard.
Choose one spell card from your deck and set it in your spell and trap card zone."
Any you can grab any spell.
So, we can search Mistaken Arrest in our deck. That's pretty [ __ ] good if I would do say so myself. I need to I need to complete through most hand traps pretty well, and the end board is pretty solid. I will say, I'm not going to cap, Droll kind of Droll's kind of crazy against the deck, I'm not going to lie.
Droll's really good against the deck, which is one reason I wouldn't I don't have it a little bit higher, but it be like that sometimes. Um >> [laughter] >> But yeah. So, outside of that, though, I think it's nice. I think going second, too, um the deck's honestly engine is not bad going second. Like it really is not. Like when you're When When When we get the Endymion cards, the engine actually get becomes pretty decent going second.
You don't have to play all those like cards with like diminishing returns like multiple Geminians. You can play engine cards that are actually good going second.
So, I'm definitely expecting Fairytale to pop off, especially because right now people are already experimenting with the deck.
People already like the deck.
So, I think in terms of expecting it to see play, it's definitely going to see some play.
Um now, like I said, around the fourth best deck, I do not think this is better than Cool Tune. I'mma be straight up about that. This deck is not better than Cool Tune. So, if you're like if you think I'm making the video because of that, no, it's not. It's not a tier one deck, but I think it's the deck is pretty solid, to be honest. Not going to lie.
Maybe I'll be wrong about this. Maybe the deck will see no top splits whatsoever, but at the moment, which to be fair, I'm early in testing, at the moment, I think the deck have a lot of potential.
Uh but yeah.
That's Fairytale. I think the deck is really nice. Um hopefully we get If we don't get the Endymion cards, I don't think the deck is worth playing. I'mma keep it a 100.
But if we do, I think it's a really nice boost. And I am like 95% sure we're going to get the cards. Like it would be very like They literally said in the product page Endymion cards. Like come on, bro. Like we're getting these cards.
But yeah, I hope you guys have a wonderful day. I will probably upload a profile for the deck in like I don't know. Probably when we get the Endymion cards confirmed and then I'll do like a combo video so you guys see how it works. And yada yada yada. And I'll try to get some like gameplay of the deck as well.
I have a replay of the deck, but it's of current Fairy Tail, which is kind of kind of not great. But yeah, anyhoo, hope you guys have a wonderful day and take care. Peace.
